[V2] Last Movie You've Seen

Death and Life of Charlie St Cloud

Saw it yesterday at the cinema, and although it's such a sad film, it was brilliant. I actually like films that make me cry because it means they're not boring :lew:

So yeah, I enjoyed that, what a film. Bit girly though, lads wouldn't like it :wacky:

Oh, and Zac Efron :ohoho:
*ahem*
:sad3:

i didn't actually mind charlie st. cloud too much. it thought the big reveal that
his brother was dead and that he was seeing ghosts
was done far too early and it made the last half an hour a bit of a drag for me, but overall it was a pretty decent film.

Iron Man II. This really wasnt that great and thats why I never saw it in theaters at first. Some scenes were just really stupid and such. Such as the raceway in Monaco and The drunken ironman vs War machine fight >.>. The bad guy was so shit honestly. He gets beaten in a matter of 10 seconds like usual. Marvel ive actions just fail hard. The best part of the movie was of course Scarlet Johanasson :ohoho: Other than that shit film. Also Stark and Pepper finally kissed what a fucking miracle! 4/10

Easy A

It was alright, not really as funny as I expected it to be. It was a lot more serious after a while which was ok, but I was expecting more comedy. It had a lot of my favorite actors in it though who really pulled it off. Though at the beginning it said they were at community college, but it was a high school. As far as I know there's a difference unless in Ojai there's no difference. But it really hits home on sexuality and sex in high schools. Overall I was happy with it and I'd recommend it to others.

8/10

the expendables

this was everythiung i hoped it would be and more :lew:
so many explosions, fight scenes etc it was just fantastic :ryan:
I particularly liked the fact that it wasnt all massive shootouts but ther was lots of hand to hand martial arts style fighting and all the fancy stuff they do with their knives was ace :wacky:
All star cast, i thot they all played theyre part brilliantly, especially dolph lundgren, i thought he was in top form.
10/10 :ohoho:

Con Air

I just saw this movie for the first time ever. Nicolas Cage should NEVER do a country accent. It sounded like a bad Forest Gump impression. Aside from that, the movie was awesome. Just pure fucking awesome. Granted, it was greatly unrealistic, but awesome.

Toy Story 3

This movie is so freeking sad and emotional, it almost made me shed tears...
I remember ToyStory from back in the day..it was one of my favo cartoons ever, I even had the Buzz Lightyear figure,

I decided to DL it and watch it... the bond between Andy and his toys is just admirable...everyone felt that way when they were young im sure of it,

Andy is now 17 and going to college so he's going to dorms...

The toys are afraid of being thrown out or placed at the attic...and many adventures follow...

Great drama and love and friendship values..

Great movie man.

10/10.

Megamind- 10/10 :yay:

Saw this movie today, and it was awesome :D Very funny, very original story, exceptional character development and I LOVE movies/stories/games etc. where the characters' internal struggles between being good and evil are explored :yay: There was a really shocking plot twist I wasn't expecting very close to the beginning, and throughout the movie there were only a few points where I could guess what was going to happen, it was quite unpredictable in a lot of places. And I thought it was really cool how they showed the good and bad sides in all four of the main characters, it was brilliant--how
Megamind had some good in him and only turned evil because he didn't fit in doing good; how Titan was sort of good at first, but because of his romantic disappointments he ended up acting on the common anger we all would feel in such situations, and ended up turning bad; how Roxanne was a "good guy" and yet had been superficial/neglectful of people in certain situations, making her fallible at the same time; and how even Metroman, who was supposed to be the big "hero," had been cocky as a child, and then ended up giving up and being a little selfish later on in order to live like a normal person.
All in all, it was great, very well told, and I would definitely recommend it ^_^ Excellent movie.

Paranormal Entity
8/10

Had me holding my breathe quite a few times. Very good movie in my opinion, but not the best. It's got a bit of an awkward ending, but then again, if it's supposed to be official material, it's kinda destined not to have a great movie's ending. I was scared. o_O Was kinda paranoid walking around the house 'cause it's dark.

I had my cat sit with me on the desk and held it against me. :wacky: Good movie.

Bully

Umm yeah this movie was pretty fucked up. It's about
a bunch of kids who come up with a plan to kill someone because he's a dickhead,
based on a true story too. I'm not sure if I actually liked it all that much, but I guess it moved me.

Movie: Get him to the Greek

Rating: M

Comments: Totally recommend this movie to everyone!

It is the best movie I've seen since The Hangover! Funnier too!!!

Russell Brand is freakin' hilarious!

Every scene is so funny and I love the soundtrack! I even went and bought the soundtrack off ebay!

Hilarious lyrics! XD

A couple of our friends didn't think it was funny and I'm like, 'What on earth is wrong with you! :gasp:'

Score: 10/10

Locked Down
A "movie" from Tapout, starring Vinnie Jones Kimbo slice, randy jackson and other fighters.
If you are a fan of MMA DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE...so bad acting, fighting and choreografy...worse than my spelling ;)
The storyline of the movie is typical...good cop gets framed and has to fight for "freedom"...but seriously the acting is so awful in this one...mma wont get more fans because of this movie.

jackass 3
probably the only film i've seen so far that's worth seeing in 3d. looking at it from a film student's point of view, it's actually really intelligently put together and it was probably a really big risk to try a lot of what they did. the slow motion they use throughout it looks absolutely stunning, even if you are watching a fat guy's folds ripple. :wacky:
and from the stunts point of view, it's just good fun and hilarious to watch. it was a brilliant way for them all to sign off.

the last movie i saw was final fantasty7 advant children

it was confusing at first

it was pretty awsome

Movie: Transformers

Rating: M

Comments: I love this movie!

So much action and although I'm really not a fan of the two main characters, it's still an awesome movie. <3

I absolutley love Bumblebee and Optimus Prime! XD

I need to get them both on DVD.

Score: 10/10

Title:The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Rating:This movie is NOT for children. It's like... beyond M. It's N.

Comments: This movie is very dark. It's full of mystery, and it keeps you on the edge of your seat. I'd be surprised if anyone turned this off before seeing the end.

Score: 9.5/10

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1

As with any Potter film, I enjoyed this. I probably liked this more than the other parts altogether. It was extremely loyal to the book, bar the
Dursleys' departure at the beginning, which is the only thing I'm disappointed with.
The acting was superb, there were still so many funny scenes even with this being a dark film and there were so many action scenes. It's definitely been taken up a notch, I just hope the second part will do justice for the series overall.

10/10

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 :awesome:

It's bloody brilliant! :x3: The best Potter film by far.
Everything is just awesome. Emma Watson is as wonderful a ever :inlove: so are the rest of the cast, of course.
And nothing much was different from the book which is very great. But the best added part of the movie is probably the
dance scene of Harry and Hermione!
It's my favorite part!! :x3: (of course, I'm a Harmony fan :ryan:) It's lovely :inlove:
Deathly Hallows is a must see.

10/10

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

This movie was pretty good for a sequel. The story itself lacked quality than the first one IMO. The special effects were what really did it good for me. Especially the part when
Aslan roared, and water beast totally pawned everybody :wacky
.

The music was also pretty great, and I'm thinking of downloading the soundtrack :hmmm:

9/10

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1.

I saw this at the midnight showing on Friday, and we had to queue up for half an hour to even get inside the cinema. It was totally worth it. I loved the movie, I thought it was excellent. I loved the interaction between the trio, and the action scenes were really good. I really hate that fucking snake though. Hate it.

I only wish there was more Snape and more of Bellatrix, but, I feel glad that we'll be seeing more of them in movie 2. Bellatrix was truly menacing in the Malfoy Manor scenes, Helena Bonham Carter was perfect as always.

The only thing that disappointed me was the ending. Such an anti-climax. Not the place I would have split the movie. Everyone in our cinema groaned when the credits came on xD
