[V2] Last Movie You've Seen

Ghostbusters (1984) I haven't seen this movie since I was a kid and decided to watch it last night. I still very much enjoy it even if the effects are a little dated XD I'm gonna go look for part 2.

8/10

Knight and Day

Saw this a few weeks back (okay, about a month + ago) at the cinemas and I rather enjoyed it, Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz just seemed to work well together. It had its funny moments (and a part especially that had me in stitches for minutes) although it was cliché and the ending was a bit of a let down, apart from that it was a good watch though. Loved it. I'd say 9/10 if I had to rate it.

The Last Song

I didn't think I was going to like it at first, mostly because Miley Cyrus was in it and I kept thinking Hannah Montana, but after the first 20 min I forgot about her as Hannah Montana and Enjoyed the movie. I've never read the book, but I can only imagine how sad it is because this was one sad movie

Kronk's New Groove

8/10

Wasn't nearly as funny as the first movie but it was still pretty good. The humor was pretty hit and miss. Also, the plot jumped around alot. But, again, I liked it. I was pleased that they got all of the people from the first film to be in there. I found that most of the funny scenes had David Spade in it. He's one of those actors that I love and hate at the same time. :hmmm:

Machete:

9/10

It has it all, brute action, funny mexicans, great freeking humor, and hot naked babes!!
Cliché plot but it was intended to do so..also intended to mimick the 90's period of the classic B action flicks..it works splendid :monocle:

Naked Lindsey Lohan :ahmed:
Jessica Alba
Steven Seagal actually dying in a movie xD
Michelle Rodriguez (amazing woman)

Check it out, this movie delivers !!

Twilight Saga: Eclipse

Watched this with my flatmate last night. Found it on the internet and not bad quality, too. Although it was my third outing of watching it, it's still as good and funny as ever. I like how the action is there and the dark romance still lingers. Jasper and Jacob most certainly got the best lines. The best scene had to be camping. The "I am hotter than you" line is just classic. The emotions run high and there are twists and turns.

10/10

Titanic: The Animated Movie.

Pretty much the worst animated film ever made. It blatantly rips off James Cameron's film and it many characters from other animated kids films. And it was very innapproproiate to have such a happy ending. Worst part, the rapping dog. In 1912 D:

Juno

This is a brilliant film and never fails to make me laugh. I love how they cast Ellen Page because I couldn't imagine anyone else taking her place in the lead. Michael Cera is odd in his role, but he does pretty well and comes across as geeky. Didn't think much of Jennifer Garner since I liked the unknown cast better because I didn't expect a certain performance from them. Overall, this is a film I'd love to see again and again, never getting fed up of it.

10/10

Peter Pan

Not the animated one, the live action one. I adore this film and all the roles were cast perfectly. I could never get fed up of this because it's so magical and beautiful. The story is performed fantastically and I especially loved Wendy this time around. The actress who plays her was brilliant in her role and I felt like I could connect with her during certain themes. A good conclusion and it makes you feel like an excited kid again.

10/10

Rachael Hurd-Wood I believe her name is. She's in another movie coming out soon. Forget the name of it. >.<

Movie: Mean Girls

Rating: M

Comments: I dunno why but I was really in the mood to watch this the other night.

I had just finished watching Legally Blonde and decided that I must watch Mean Girls as well. XD

Love the bitchiness in this and how Lindsey Lohan transformed from a nice quiet smart girl into such a bimbo with so little influence so quickly. XD

It really is what goes on in highschool sadly. >.<

Score: 10/10

Grizzly

An old classic that I think came out in 1976. Even for a movie that old, it really wasn't all too bad. It had the classic acting style from the mid 70s, and camera work was done really well. It had a couple cheap parts, even for it's time, but I really liked it. Killer bears are always scary. One thing I didn't like about this movie that it seemed to drag on and on.

8/10

Back to the Future
I can now say that I've seen it on the big screen. We went to see the 25th anniversary edition last night, and it's just as good as I hoped. The only thing they (sadly) cut out was the "To be continued..." at the end, which means they won't be re-releasing the second one. :sad3:

The Fourth Kind

This movie was actually really interesting. i enjoyed the whole thing & got creeped out at some parts. kept me interested the whole time & its something i'll go & buy on dvd. 10/10 for me lol

Ghost Rider

Watched this two nights ago when there was nothing else on TV. It wasn't too bad a film and it was on the list of those I wanted to see, anyway. It was an interesting concept, I liked how hell and the devil were used to bring the story to life. Some parts were kind of predictable, it lets the whole film down. The ending was pretty good. I was kept entertained enough to keep watching.

8/10

30 Days of Night: Dark Days

7/10

For a sequel to a movie that went straight to DVD this one wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be! I wish they would have used the same actress from the first movie, but overall I still liked it. Wasn't anywhere close to as good as the original but then again they barely ever are. It does promise all the bloody gore of a good vampire movie

The Doors

A biopic about Jim Morrison (singer from the doors). I found it quite entertaining, it's a fairly long film but I still found it enjoyable. Morrison was notoriously..interesting. I'd say it's worth watching even if you aren't a fan of the doors.

Ponyo.
Unlike the other Hayao Miyazaki films, this movie seemed a little more normal than his previous films, but none the less, it was enjoyable.

Movie: Avatar - The Last Airbender

Rating: M

Comments: Loved this movie!

Don't care if people think it was shit just because it was apparently nothing like the cartoon.

People should get over it and appreciate the movie without comparing it to the original cartoon.

Steve and I loved it and so can't wait to see the second one!

The acting was a bit off in some scenes but the majority of the time we were loving it. <3

Score: 10/10

harry brown

despite wanting to desperately see it in the cinema when it was released, i never did and i never got it particularly early when it was released on dvd either. i just finally got around to watching it tonight, and it certainly deserves all of the praise it got. it was beautifully shot, and the sound design was incredible. it had a proper british film feel to it. it's rare for a feature film to be done in such a way; the style is usually reserved for 20/30 minute short films so it's something really interesting from that point.
i'm a little unsure what i thought of the ending. even though harry ultimately reaches the goal he set out to achieve, it doesn't feel as though any proper justice was done against the gang of the estate...

A Clockwork Orange

MOD EDIT: Can you please put more effort into your posts please? This kind of post is a spam post in a post count section. Give a little detail about the movie. Thank you.
