Leona Lewis - Take A Bow

Definitely one of the underrated songs on Spirit. It's a brilliant song, depicting an egotistical actor. The lyrics are really effective and the production of this was done very well. Leona's voice is belting and I love how she can go from low to so high in such a limited amount of time.

bohemian like you - the dandy warhols
a song i'd totally forgotten about until i was round at a friend's last week. gives me a brilliant blast from the past feeling.

Stateless- "Bloodstream" 10/10

This song really struck home with me the other day; my take on it is that it's about realizing how much someone has gotten into your heart. And I heard some words that were like knives that day as well :hmmm: It's a very beautiful song, I'd never heard it before, but it came on the radio at a very opportune moment, and now I can't stop listening to it. 10/10.

Wake up
Look me in the eyes again
I need to feel your hand upon my face

Words can be like knives
They can cut you open
And then the silence surrounds you and haunts you

I think I might've inhaled you
I can feel you behind my eyes
You've gotten into my bloodstream
I can feel you floating in me

Words can be like knives
They can cut you open
And then the silence surrounds you and haunts you

I think I might've inhaled you
I can feel you behind my eyes
You've gotten into my bloodstream
I can feel you floating in me

The spaces in between
Two minds and all the places they have been
The spaces in between
I tried to put my finger on it
I tried to put my finger on it

I think I might've inhaled you
I can feel you behind my eyes
You've gotten into my bloodstream
I can feel you floating in me

I think I might've inhaled you
I can feel you behind my eyes
You've gotten into my bloodstream
I can feel you floating in me

Enrique Iglesias Feat. Usher - Dirty Dancer

This is such a ridiculously catchy song and I've got a suspicion it might be released as the next single from Euphoria. The production of this is brilliant and Enrique and Usher's voices compliment each other when they come together. Adding Usher into this was a great decision. The beat of this is amazing and the chorus has got me hooked.

The Dandy Warhols - We Used To Be Friends.

I really love this song, although to be fair I first heard it on Veronica Mars, which is cool. The first line of the song is "A long time ago, we used to be friends" which in 1 of the season 1 Veronica Mars episodes, before the credits rolled, she actually quoted the song by saying "We used to be friends, a long time ago." Which made for a good intro to this song.

I'd give this song 10/10 purely for the fact I never get bored with it.

Meiou - Sound Horizon

LOVE IT!!

MOD EDIT: Can you please put a little more effort into your post please? This is a spam post in a post count section. Just elaborate a little more on why you love this song. Thank you.

Star Wars Episode 1 - Augie's Great Municipal Band

Reminds me of when I was just a little kid and my older brothers would play the movie and the games. Just recently watched the entire Star Wars film, so that's why I have it in my head xD

I really like the music, though not as good as the films, they are still catchy!

Pussy - Rammstein.

For obvious reasons, I won't be posting the youtube link here. Even censored it's still rather inappropriate.

I still love how completely critic-trolling this song is though. I swear Till and the others heard all the critics saying "Their music pushes the limits of decency" and the like, and decided to reply with a song that said "Oh that's not explicit...THIS is explicit!"

The Saturdays - Higher

This is such a fun and upbeat song in comparison to the crap I've had to endure for the past few years. It's just about having fun and pulling yourself together to overcome a relationship problem. The production of this is great and the girls are at their greatest during the chorus. I love Una's high note towards the end, she's got such a wicked voice.

Chance For A Big Reversal - Motoi Sakuraba (Tales Of Vesperia)

Yeah, I mostly listen to VGM, mainly RPG's. I especially love Sakuraba's battle themes (People say most of his song's sound the same). If you love RPG music, and battle themes, Sakuraba is the way to go!

Cheryl Cole - Fight For This Love

This is such a good song. Even though Cheryl's admittedly not the best vocalist, she knows how to put one together. It's overplayed by now, but I don't mind it sometimes. It makes such a great pop/dance track, despite its meaning not really relevant to what it was at the time anymore. The chorus is pretty deep and I love the "quitting's out of the question" part.

Red Hot Chili Peppers- "Under The Br:zombie:

...oops, sorry, I got excited and nom'd it :jess:

Red Hot Chili Peppers- "Under The Bridge"

I was at the gym and this song came on my personal radio, and my soul exploded with good-music nostalgia :ryan: "I don't ever wanna feeeeeeeel...like I did that day. Take me to the place I loooooooove...take me all the way" :woo: I've always loved this song, it is classic Chili Peppers and I can't get enough of it. 10/10

(Also, Anthony's hair is gorgeous in the video, it looks prettier than mine :ness:)

I'm listening to Colin Firth swear his head off (caution: contains profanity).

I loved this scene in the movie, and honestly, it kind of reminded me of Blazing Saddles' farting scene.

You've got something that normally isn't funny when done to excess, but it's done in just such a setting that somehow it becomes hilarious.

and tits.

Champion - Chipmunk ft. Chris Brown.

Slick. I love the message in this song that if you want to be the best then you have to go out there and get it, that there's no limits to how good you can be and that no one can stop you from doing so. I don't know why it's "ft. Chris Brown" though considering he takes the lead roll really. The cinematography is excellent in the video. :ryan:

At the moment im not listening to a specific song but I am flicking through all of Three Days Graces music :D

Since I heard a live version of their songs ive had to relisten to all of the original studio versions to see the difference between the studio and live versions.

But tbh some songs are better in the studio but then songs like animal ive become and get out alive cannot be beaten live :P

Lady GaGa - Born This Way

I'm actually stunned with this. I'd been looking forward to it for a while now, but it's blown my mind. Her voice is still as fantastic as ever and I'm really impressed with the production. The lyrics are really deep and meaningful, she knows how to write such a great song to appeal to her audience. This is going to be such a hit when word gets round about it.

Pixie Lott - Broken Arrow

I'd liked this for a while, but I've really grown to love it over the past day or so. Pixie's got an incredible voice and it's such a sad ballad. Watched the video last night and it was really intense, I especially love those ballet scenes since they're so intimate. My favourite bit has to be towards the end and I love the "you could be my hero, if only I could let you go" part of the lyrics. It's finally nice to listen to such a brilliant ballad.

The Killers - Read My Mind

I love this band so much. Every song they make comes out perfect. Or at least the old stuff did, not sure about new stuff if they have made anything new. This isn't my favorite, but its still really, really good. lol

Have you've ever heard of a band that actually makes you really, really think of the past? A good time? The Killers always manages to do that to me. I always think of better days. I think that's what makes a great band/singer. If they can make you remember them or have an album that can make you remember the past and good days every time you hear them.

But then again, that could just be me thinking that way xD
