[V5] What are you currently listening to?

Skillet - Monster.

I dont know why but there is something about this songs lyrics that mesmerises me for hours on end everytime I hear it.
Does get in the way of doing work sometimes though. -__-
But other than that Skillet has made a great sounding song overall. :P

Down to the Devil - Edguy

Whilst I am not fond of their earlier works (before Sammet acquired the awesome singing voice he has now and they sounded like one of those godawful college teenage bands that never go anywhere) I absolutely LOVE Edguy, and this is one of my favourite songs. It's been a while since Edguy released a new album, actually...not since Tinnitus Sanctus in 2008, which was very hit-and-miss...they need to release another one :ahmed:

The song I am listening to right now is:
UKFDrumandBass - Rob Swire's (Drumstep Witchcraft remix)
I like it cus it adds a bit more depth to the sound of the original song, and shows that rob swire still has skills at what he does. :bounce:

Born This Way - Lady GaGa

Definitely a grower. I wasn't so keen on the song yesterday, now I love it. I find myself clicking it again and again on iTunes. The lyrics are quite deep and meaningful (for a pop song, just to clarify) but set against a catchy dance track. Brilliant shit.

Christina Perri - Jar of Hearts

I love this song.

It's very different and so is the music video.

A lot of people who've been in those on and off relationships can relate to this song.

And who do you think you are
Running 'round leaving scars
Collecting your jar of hearts
And tearing love apart
You're gonna catch a cold
...From the ice inside your soul
So don't come back for me
Don't come back at all
Who do you think you are...

Led Zeppelin - Black Mountain Side

I very much love Led Zeppelin, especially this piece. I always appreciate when music like this appears. I don't think I've posted much if not at all, classical pieces like Ludwig van Beethoven (Symphony No.5 anyone? Or maybe Für Elise? :3), but that genre of music is my most favorite of them all. So I think that's why I love this song so much, because it reminds me of my favorite music (Plus, Led Zeppelin has a song inspired by Lord of the Rings, which is awesome xD).

I've actually have heard Led Zeppelin all my life. Along with Ozzy, Pink Floyd and many others (and even dance music lol). But Led Zeppelin has been my favorite so far xD

I'd give this song a 10/10! Very good!

Bruno Mars - Grenade

I didn't like any of his stuff until this song and now I love him. =D

I even think he's hot cos of the way he has his hair in this clip. XD

Anyway it's such a sweet song and I just wanna give him a hug. <3

Awesome beat. <3

Definitely going to be played at my wedding.

B*Witched - C'est La Vie

In the mood to listen to cheesy pop songs and this is certainly no exception that strays away from that. I loved the days when this song was cool. Love the video as well, especially the Irish dancing in the middle. It's a shame that you don't hear much from the group anymore, they were pretty epic back in their day.

Lady Gaga - Eh eh eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)

10/10

I've always liked this song the most because it doesn't try to be deep with it's message, and it's a song I can listen to without having to take her seriously. Eh eh eh is really addictive too.

Lady Gaga - Born This Way

At first I didn't like it and a few people did mention that you had to listen to it a few times before it sounded good. XD

I think I was just expecting something different but in the end I was more pleased with this.

It's more like her first album. Not scary or freakish like her latest. I do love her latest album, but I just hoped that it wouldn't get any weirder than that.

She's heading in a good direction with this one in my opinion. =)

Für Elise(Elise) By Ludwig Van Beethoven

Unfortunately, there aren't any high quality versions of this song by him and not others, or I would have posted it :(

Either way, its still a very beautiful song. Pianos are my favorite instruments in the world. I love emotion the piano can give. I could sit and listen forever and ever, to classical music, especially pianos. This song is among my favorites, but I'd have to say my favorite of Beethoven's masterpieces, would be Moonlight Sonata" (1st Movement).

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this song if you gave the video a chance. If not, there's always next time! :3

Angus and Julia Stone - Big Jet Plane

I love this song.

It's so nice and peaceful.

I get annoyed when people carry on about how the artist is unrealistic with his lyrics about taking the girl for a ride on a big jet plane. "Oh as if we have the money for that, wah wah wah."

It's not meant to be realistic. :rage:

I love the song, realistic or not. <3

I really don't care what anyone says, this song is hot. Bitch may have shaved her head and threatened to beat someone with an umbrella, but bitch made a really ballin' song. :monster:

Ke$ha - The Harold Song

I've no idea why it's called that, but it's a really sweet song. It proves to all the critics that Ke$ha can sing without autotune or even talk singing. I really do wish she'd release this as a song since it's one of her best songs yet.

This song is so soothing....I love all Dir en greys songs but it's songs like these that calm me down.... Fot those who don't know, Dir en grey is a Visual Kei J-rock band that sings mostly about controversal/taboo subjects in a rather artistic and clever way.

And damn they're sexy! :D

Enjoy the clip :)

Enrique Iglesias Feat. Usher - Dirty Dancer

Such a catchy song! I like the new direction Enrique is taking his music, but loving he's still retaining the style he sings in. Adding in Usher is a nice bonus for a song that contains the word "dancer". When their voices come together, it's pretty amazing. The production of it was put together very well, too, and keeps you listening right until the end.

10/10

Gabrielle Cilmi - Sweet About Me

A nice song to relax to. She's got good vocals and the production of the song is put together very well. It's not bad, but there are other songs in this genre that are probably slightly better than this. Her voice makes up for anything that doesn't sound right, though.

The Seven Angels - Avantasia

The first Avantasia song I ever heard...it's surprising that I became such a fan, given that this song is impossible to understand if you have no prior knowledge to the story behind The Metal Opera, so it makes little sense. Still, I loved the complexity of it, as well as the vocals, and I still do. The Wicked Trilogy was good, but The Metal Opera is just much more appealing, and this is definetely the most epic song.

Beethoven - 6th Symphony (Pastoral Symphony)

I love this one. It makes me think I've attended an Opera or something back in the 1800s. ^-^

I think this one is among my favorites...maybe I should sit down one day and go through them all and organize them into favorites? I suppose it wouldn't matter if I didn't, I listen to them all regardless of a list lol

If you guys haven't given the 6th Symphony a shot, you should try it now. I promise its good!
