Lady Gaga- Judas

It's okay. I'm not blown away, but the chorus is decent and it's dancey. I wish she didn't feel the need to randomly say Gaga somewhere to claim her music. It's annoying.

Express This Way was ten times better though this one may still grow on me.

Friday - Rebecca Black

Well, I'm infected.

Naw. To be honest, other than the somewhat retarded and in-your-face-sucker type of lyrics, the tune is catchy. Autotune helps her voice so it doesn't sound that horrible as many YouTube comments make it out to be.

... Hm. The song's just catchy enough for an occasional listening.

Though it remains a fact that by my knowledge of the music industry, she has got to have the worst singing voice. Just sayin'.

Ke$ha- Boots and Boys

I usually won't admit to listening to Ke$ha, but this song reminds me of Boys Boys Boys from Lady Gaga, so naturally I'm addicted :monster: Ke$ha obviously sings about two things that a girl really likes...boots :inlove: ...and boys :awesome: ...I like this better than most of her stuff.

The ClockTower Stage from Marvel vs Capcom 2.

It's really sad they veered away from this Jazzy approach in 3. The music is more simplistic and less memorable. The OST in MVC2 was distinct and appreciable. Definitely one of my top 10.

Lady Gaga- Judas

Okay it's grown on me. I quite enjoy it now. :yay:

Gaga needs to stop naming dropping though. It spoils the mood. But I'm totally in love with Judas baby.

Swimming in the Flood - Passion Pit

The strings in the beginning are gorgeous and then they break out with this wonderful piano and harmonic vocals. It's so airy and pretty, very ethereal stuff but the synthesizers totally ground it in the realm of hazy electro pop. That, and the thumping bassline and drums. Yep. Their is something very emotive about this song, very addictive and dreamy . . .

10.5/10

The Ready Set -Airplane

This cover easily trumps the original version by that girl from Twilight...wait Paramore and that subpar rapper. Sure the song was there's original but he does such a better job with it.

I mean it's epicly better.

20/10 in comparison to the original

Know Your Enemy - Rage Against The Machine

I think Tom Morello's guitar makes this song. I think he makes RATM great, I think they'd be good without him, but not great. The riff is excellent, it gives the song its power and aggression. The solo is very good too.

Domination - Symphony X

This group has over the last couple of months or so has become one of my favorites. Michael Romeo probably being the main reason I listen to the band. His technique is just absolutely flawless. I also really like the singer. Not just because he has a really powerful voice but because in some songs he actually sounds a little like the great (and unfortunately late) Ronnie James Dio.

Stereo Skyline- Uptown, Get Around

Good song, good beat, catchy lyrics. The lead vocalist has a great voice, and I could listen to him sing over and again. It's very odd, but good.

10/10

Ludovico Einaudi - Primavera

He is just a beautiful music composer and pianist. His music is always so inspiring and so magical. It somehow manages to take me on journeys all across the world. It literally moves me when I listen to this song. If I had to describe it in five words it'd be;

enchanting. awe-inspiring. heavenly. elegance. powerful.

Brilliance caught in musical form.

I'm currently listening to two things lately:

New Symphony X songs. I couldn't wait for Iconoclast to come out, so I'm repeatedly watching live recordings of Dehumanized, which is the one that I like best out of the three that have been bootlegged. It's got that wicked heavy Through The Looking Glass vibe and it's seriously kick ass.

Fucking Epic.

I like Vocaloid for some weird reason, and I like a lot of the music I randomly search up. Currently I've been saving a lot of instrumental versions of popular songs done in Vocaloid.

Night Light - Sleater-Kinney

I think the album that Night Light is from is a considerable distance from their earlier stuff. It's far more indie/alt rock than it is riot grrrl, which is a change for the better in my opinion. It has less 'meaning' but I think it sounds better.

Dangerous love - Racer X

I find that having a band with an X randomly in the title usually helps the epicness for some odd reason. Paul Gilbert back in the day was borderline lightspeed on the guitar back in the 80's. I liked his later stuff when he developed a less... Shall we say overwhelming sound. But I still love Racer X, just not as much as Mr. Big.

Phunk & Beath Thrillerz- Lose Control (Phunk & Mickey Bono Anthem Mix)

I heard this driving home on my last day of school and it got me pumped for the car ride home. The lyrics are hardly there...its just "lose control" almost over and over again but I love them. Katy Allen does the singing and her voice is very powerful. I love the effects though, they are truly awesome. This totally makes me want to move :woot:

Am I Ever Gonna Change - Extreme

Unfortunately a band that has fallen in obscurity in the more recent generation. I love these guys. And this song is amazing. It's the middle section of a three part song. The first being Rise N' Shine and the third being Who Care's?. It's truly an amazing album.

Led Zeppelin - Over the Hills and Far Away (promo)

Khilí! Khilí!

Not my favorite Led Zeppelin song, but its among the greats for sure. Its probably the song I play the less, so I decided to listen to it...of course, this was after Kashmir xD

9/10

*didn't get a full 10 because it was too short lol*
