Enough Cryin' - Mary J Blige

Damn good song.

Well, for one, this is a sort of beat that I like. There seems to be more focus on the voice than the instrumentals - just the way I like it. That, and the lyrics bears a fair bit of meaning that adds more worth to the song.

I won't get in my way - Mr. Big

God, this fucking album's amazing. Probably the best new album I've heard in a long time. And this song is great. I'm kind of on a continuous loop of listening to this song after I listen to every other song.

I've just gotten into Daft Punk-Discovery big time.Pretty much the best electronica album I've ever heard,a work of genius.Arguably the best music of the last 15 years, imho.

I particularly like:

and

In My Head(Cover) - Mayday Parade

Their song of choice off of the Punk Goes Pop 3 album, and I beleive they did a great job with this song. Not only did they stay true to their sound, but they also threw in some elements that really binded the entire song together. So, kudos to them.

8.7/10

On Mercury - Red Hot Chili Peppers

This song has a lot of life to it, and makes you really feel good. RHCP aren't really one of my favourite bands by any means, but I have 4 of their albums simply because they make really good music.

Tangled Up in Blue - Bob Dylan

One of the best songs from his best album, Blood on the Tracks. It lacks the palpable venom of Idiot Wind, or even If You See Her. It's a long narrative that creates so many images, like the topless bar. I'm sure there's many possible meanings that can be read into the song, considering it's from a breakup album. But I'd rather not in this case.

Never Give In - Black Veil Brides

Love, love, LOVE this song! I love how it starts off with a guitar, and it continues, but the drums come in like a heart beat or something. It kind of makes you think when you listen to the song, and read the lyrics as you listen. I don't know about you, but I love this song, and definitely one of their best no doubt. :ryan:

Within Temptation - Somewhere

This is such a gem of a song and it's one of their best in my honest opinion. Her voice sends shivers down my spine and the production of this is fantastic. It feels like one of those songs that plays towards a grand scene in a movie. The lyrics are deep and meaningful to me since they talk of a dark period. Definitely tied for first WT song with All I Need.

Aalborg Fantasy Soundtracks - Will-O-The-Wisp

I accidentally found this song when I was watching Minecraft videos. From the first few seconds of the "song", I loved it. I must have watched the video 10 times just listening to the song. So, I looked it up, and I eventually downloaded it, and I've been listening to it for the last few hours. It's peaceful and calm, yet dark and foreboding, and I love every second of it.

The sound effects are done so right and well, and when listening to it with a nice pair of headphones, it becomes so surreal to the point of perfection. This song has done what no other song has managed to do before: Put me to sleep in a good way. I typically can't sleep to music, but I've been drifting in and out thanks to this. I fucking love it.

Anyone that disagrees is wrong, clearly.

The Raven - The Stranglers

A great song from a great album. It's different from their earlier music, which was much more punk, The Raven is more New Wave. The keyboard is the most noticable part of the song, it's excellent. I do kind of miss Jean-Jacques Burnel's bass, but there are other songs in which that can be heard.

The Best of Time [Instrumental Mix] - Dream Theater

A song that's better with lyrics but it's very amazing on it's own without vocals. The melody is very warming and nostalgic. A very calming melody. And without vocals, the song is almost tear jerking.

Sacred Spirit 'How The West Was Lost' Intro & Prelude

One of the saddest songs I have ever listened to, especially knowing of the Wounded Knee Massacre. Reading about it and watching Bury me at Wounded Knee is just too sad. :sad3:

I give the song a 10/10. Though I don't believe the song is in Lakȟóta, the Lakȟóta have a very beautiful language, which is why I want to learn Lakȟótiyapi (am learning, actually lol)!

Brick by Boring Brick - Paramore.

Just in one of those moods. Why the hell spend your time trying to make people look bad if it's just you who has a problem with them? Get fucked, in all honesty.

Love this song. The lyrics are just to the point, and it's what I love about most Paramore songs. It kinda makes me sad to think they're not a full band anymore, I always think about that whenever their songs come on to my iTunes now. :gonk: Kinda... Mixed feelings.

Amazing song though. ♥

Do It Like a Dude- Jessie J

I hate this song the first time I heard it but now I love it so much, it's so amazing. I love the way her voice sounds, and the lyrics are great. It's really catchy, and the background music is nice.

I can do it like a brother, do it like a dude, grab my crotch wear my hat act low like you.

Above & Beyond feat. Richard Bedford- Sun & Moon (Club Mix)

Ohhh this song is so beautiful. Richard Bedford has such a smooth and sexy voice...and the lyrics "I'm sorry baby, you were the sun and moon to me...I'll never get over you, you'll never get over me.." are so touching. I love Above & Beyond...their music usually always touches me like no other music can.

Biffy Clyro - The Kids from Kibble and the Fist of Light

It's so spectacularly offbeat, darkly whimsical, and yet strangely upbeat. I don't have any other flowery adjectives to describe this track, save for the fact that I love when the lead singer croons, ". . . tonight I'm in a rage, tonight I'm in a rage," amidst a bevy of acoustic guitars and clamoring cymbals and drums. It's erratic and fast paced but that acoustic guitar balances it out so nicely; it's a beautiful track. Found this one while I was browsing through my Tumblr account and one of the peeps I followed posted this so I re-blogged it and took a listen. It's become my form of methamphetamine ever since, especially when around 2:30 the lead sings, " . . . once again you've missed the point," and it gets all jazzy and mellowed out. It's great shit.

Under a Glass Moon - Dream Theater

I never get tired of listening to this band. I've heard the same songs so many times and they're always amazing each and every single time. I love how their sound has evolved over the decades but I still enjoy listening to their older stuff when they were using jazz fusion techniques. Still my favorite band of all time.

Gentlemen - The Afghan Whigs

It's one of my favourite albums. Very sleazy grunge/rock but it's different from other sleazy grunge/rock. Grunge is very white genre, I don't know of any grunge bands whose influences aren't rock bands like led zep or someone like that. The Afghan Whigs are influenced by Motown and Jazz and you can tell the difference.

Ignorance - Paramore

I love this band, but it's too damn bad a couple of them left. I don't know what happened, but it sucks. Still one of my favorite songs from the album
