Adam K feat. Soha- You're Not Alone

Love this...the lyrics are so soothing and beautiful...and the background beat and effects make this song so ethereal in beauty. Ohhh dance music, how ILY :inlove:

Fit For Rivals - Crash

Not sure how many of you have heard of them, I hadn't until yesterday. I heard it about a year ago when it was the theme to one of the WWE events. I liked it, but didn't really give it another thought. I came across a recap video for the event on Youtube yesterday, and the theme was playing in the background, and this time, it did catch my attention.

I love the big choruses. There's something about the singer too...

Sultan & Ned Shepard feat. Nadia Ali- Call My Name

The lyrics for this are amazing...and Nadia Ali has such a pretty voice. I love this song...it really hits my heart. If I were a clubber this would really get me moving...the beat is something else.

Lady Gaga - Government Hooker

The album's been leaked, the full version of this song has now joined the other 58 songs in my Lady Gaga playlist and it's better than I expected. Full of bass and weird imagery ("I could be mom...unless you want to be dad" ???) and it sounds like something I want to get stoned to. Excellent.

One day as a Lion - Wild International

Rating: 10/10

Call me bias to Rage Against the Machine, but this is an amazing political rap. I hope it infects you like it did me. I can identify definitely since I'm a passive militant minded person.. Ennnjjoy

Like the 9th ward
On the AM, on the AM
Turn and face them
Hatred and mayhem
Slay them, dangerous
I take razor steps
It's the swing
From the bling
To the bang on the left
It's the murderous return
Boom back full strap
Your six
That got clipped
You can't clap back
With minimal lift
And criminal flow
I’m killing them soft
And billing them for
Everything stole
And once again
I'm that nail
In the wrist
Of they Christmas
Watch me
Make their family
A witness

Muhammad
And Christ would like
Would lay
Your body down
To a tune
So wild international
In the desert
Full of bullets
Let your body rot
With my chrome
With my verse
With my body rock

Higher Than the Sun - Primal Scream

The opening three or so minutes is basically an acid house song, that gradually gets more complex, more instruments and sounds slowly added in. Then it stops about halfway through the song and it becomes more of an alt-rock song. The bass on the track is probably my favourite part of it. Instead of Mani playing bass it's Jah Wobble, who was in Public Image. I don't know why they switched for one song, but the bass is exquisite.

Roads That Don't End And Views That Never Cease by We Came As Romans.

I have so much love for this band since they come from Michigan. Nothing good EVER comes from Michigan! Hah.

Lil Wayne feat. Bobby Valentino- Mrs. Officer

I knowww this song is old, its been around forever...but I love it. The lyrics are...racy yes...and Wayne is always laughable when he raps/sings...but this just makes me want to dress up as a cop and ....:inlove: ...anyways, this will always be a favorite of mine.

Bloody Mary -- Lady GaGa

Yeah, I cheated and got the album early, but it's absolutely AMAZING! The music itself is just miles better than her first album, the lyrics however are, still, very mediocre to oh-my-god-what-even-is-this.

Anyways I love this song in particular because of the way the tempo is slower but still makes you feel like you want to dance.

Foo Fighters - My Hero
Such an epic kick ass song. It's definitely a classic rock tune. The guitar in the background is simple but so epic. The drums are powerful and heavy. The lyrics are just brilliant. And his vocals are just amazing. :ryan:

It's definitely an under-rated song by them.

I think I Can / Crazy Sunshine - The Pillows

I still love this band so much for their work on the popular and renowned anime FLCL. One of the things I really like about their band is the drumming and tone of the guitar.

Escape Artists Never Die - Funeral for A Friend

I love this song to death. Ryan's screams and Matt's Vocals are a great combo, and with the raw nature of the Post-hardcore elements are great. This song is simply up my alleyway. :ryan:

I have had this theme in my head all day long, and now you all can share it =P

THERE'S NO NEED TO FEAR....

The Light Before We Land - The Delgados

One of their songs came up on random so I started listening to them. It's a really nice song too. The only constant is Emma Pollock's voice which is lovely. You get all these switches between consonance and dissonance, lovely choir-esque strings and then really quite harsh drums. The juxtaposition works very well.

Country Roads - Me First And The Gimme Gimmes

A friend of mine introduced me to this group the other day (with the most kickass version of Uptown Girl I've ever heard) and I've become quite fond of them. I quite like this song as it is, and their version is fantastic~

Marry the Night by Lady Gaga, I can't get enough of this song, its the best track off of Born this Way, I can't say much for the other tracks, they really sound alike to me but Marry the Night is amazing -- Gaga definitely out did herself on this song.
