O'Malley's Bar - Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds

It's a very long song, about 14 and a half minutes. It's from the murder ballads album, so it's a 14 minute long song about a massacre. But like a lot of Nick Cave's song it is quite funny, but it stil works on a musical level.

Lady Gaga - Electric Chapel

This song is SO GOD DANG AMAZING. I mean, it's just AWESOME. I love the verses the chorus. The little rock guitar with that catchy "Doot doo doo
Doot doot doo doo" her vocals are just so epic and so catchy in this song. I've never heard a song that sounded like this but I just love it. The dark tone it has gives it a cool touch for being a dance song. Definitely one of my favs off the album.

Four Corners And Two Sides - Sleeping With Sirens

I just absolutely love this song. I love how raw the sound is in the beginning, and then it breaks into the chorus which is insanely good. And the verses are equally as awesome. The screams are better than I could've hoped for. Guitar riffs are awesome, and the drummer has excellent rhythm. Just love this song down to the core. :ryan:

Maroon 5 - Little Of Your Time

I used be a big fan of Maroon 5 until I got tired because with every new album them release, they become more Pop. I heard this on the radio yesterday though, and I liked it. I'm listening to their songs again. I missed their concert last week :sad3:

Unchain The Rain - Altaria

Discovered this group last night, and I have to say, I quite like them. The vocals aren't too bad (although they're a little weak, compared to my favourite artists, who soundblast my ears into oblivion) and nor are the accompanying instrumentals. Plus I think its awesome that they've named themselves after a third-generation Pokemon. xD

Coming Back Down - Hollywood Undead

OMG THIS SONG IS FANTABULOUS! Danny's vocals in the chorus are great, and even though the sound feels a bit more on the pop-rock genre, I do not mind it at all. Actually, I believe they sound a whole lot better with the pop-rock elements in it. The lyrics are great, and I can somewhat relate to them. I don't know, but I just love this song. :ryan:

In the Belly of a Shark - Gallows

One of the best songs from a great album. Great solo too. They're supposed to be working on a new album at the moment which is good news. Hopefully it is more like Orchestra of Wolves than Grey Britain. But it is a good song, it is song about a true story of a person who was swallowed by a whale shark but managed to escape.

Del Amitri - Roll To Me

So just now, I was watching Family Guy season 4 and there was a clip between Jude Law and Renee Zellweger. This song played in the background for a few seconds, so I looked at the subtitles for its name. I like it. A lot. :hmmm: It's catchy, upbeat and kind of sweet. It's too short though.

Also, I can relate :hmph: </3

Amy Winehouse - Rehab

This song just explains my life right now. I feel like I totally need to be in rehab but I ain't going!! haha. Just a pretty mellow song I can tap my foot too. The album Back to Black is really good too.

8/10

CheVelle - Bend the Bracket
Such a beautiful, dark, song. It's just amazing how calming this tune is. His soft playing of the guitar. His vocals being a soft murmur really gives it that heartwrenching feel. The lyrics are just beautiful. The drums are strong yet softly playing in the background.

It's just a perfect song all the way around. I can compare it to Stairway to Heaven, but obviously without a wicked solo. But the theme of the song has always reminded me of Zeppelin's song. :ryan:

10/10

Tool - AEnema

Probably my favourite Tool song at the moment. I've had it stuck in my head for a while now. I really like the rhythm in the first few minutes. Great drumming, the guitar solo is awesome too. The lyrics and vocals are pretty good too, I particularly like the 'I'm praying for rain' part towards the end.

Kesha - Run Devil Run

I've been listening to Kesha all morning. I think my sister told me before that this isn't her original. It's a cover, the original was by a Korean girl group, but I don't know which. I've been really sensitive these days to love songs, so pop songs are the way to go. :mokken:

I wish I knew right frooom the start
That I was dancing wiiiiith the daaaark

It's really catchy. :rage:

I Swear This Place Is Haunted - A Skylit Drive

currently my ASD obsession song, and it's a mighty good one. I really love how it opens with a soothing piano, but then breaks into drum and guitar action. Micheal Jagmin's vocals are so different than what you usually hear, and I think that is what makes the band great. I mean, Jordan was great in their debut EP, but Micheal really makes this song - and the band as a whole - stand out.

10/10

SINCE I'VE BEEN LOVING YOU - LED ZEPPELIN

*le sigh*

What can I say about this song... seriously, I post about it so much I'm beginning to look as if I'm repeating what I love about this song. If it was up to me, this would be known as the greatest song of all time. Yes, of all time.

I'm gonna start with Jimmy since this song practically was made just for him. Jimmy's guitaring in this song is... just mindblowing. It's like a roller-coaster of beauty and heartbreak in the form of a guitar's rhythm. You can hear him play all the way up and down the strings just flawlessly. Every single time I listen to this song, I feel the soul put into his playing. :ryan:

Robert's vocals in this song are perfect. The best he's ever done. And John's drumming is... just outstanding. The lyrics are powerful and just convey the definition of a broken heart.

The greatest song ever written and played.

Jumpin' Jack Flash - The Rolling Stones

In my opinion one of the main reasons, probably the most important reason why the Stones were/are so successful is Keith Richards. One of his talents is his ability to come up with amazing riffs, and the riff for this song is great. Without it, it wouldn't be much of a song, but with it it is great. It gives energy and power to what would otherwise be filler.

UKF Dubstep Mix [August]

I've been craving a whole lotta dubstep lately, whether if it's old or new - if I like it, I'll have it stuck in my head all day. I could imagine a good LED/blacklight dance choreography to this entire song. :gasp: It being one of my more favorite sub genres of trance/dance music, the number of good songs it has (like the link above) is limitless . :ryan:

Air The Enlightenment - A Skylit Drive(Click for song)

When you throw in mellow piano, beats of a drum, and very faint guitar, you have a total masterpiece in my honest opinion. This song is so soft, and when there are no screams invovled, you can really hear how pure Micheal Jagmin's(singer of A Skylit Drive) voice is. I think his voice is one of the most unique ones in his genre. His range is so awesome, and when you first hear him sing, you would first think it's a girl:-)wacky:)

Heavy Metal Lover by Lady Gaga

Man, I love this song so much, but I feel so weird listening to it aloud, because its got some pretty straight-forward and dirty lyrics in the beginning. Normally that kills a song for me but Day-Um! Gaga his my music love here, sounds like a damn 90's song I swear it!

The whole catchy "I could be your girl, girl, girl..." is my favorite part, and now...I'll be singing it for hours!

I love it!

Another Angel Down - Avantasia

Specifically, the live version. Damnit, I wish I could go to one of these concerts! Avantasia are one of my favourite bands and, whilst the vocals aren't quite as good as those on the CD - I think he shouted himself hoarse near the end - the accompanying background music etc sounds FUCKING AWESOME.
