[V5] What are you currently listening to?

Gareth Emery feat. Christina Novelli - Concrete Angel

I knew of Christina Novelli before she featured in the track, I really hopes she makes it in 2012, she has a hell of a voice and could go places, especially in the more clubbing/dance side of the music industry. Throw this on some loud speakers and it's a hell of a tune. Defo have it blasting out on my playlists at parties here. :ohoho: Rapture

Until The Day I Die - Story of the Year

My god this song is awesome! :gasp: I can't decide if it's the grunge-like sound it has or the pure rawness of the lyrics.

"I have my hands at your throat,
I think I hate you"

Those two lines are just..:O

fucking awesome is what this is. :jay:

Die Antwoord - Enter the Ninja

I hate divas: Beyonce, Rihanna, Kanye and Gwen Stefani. Everyone who takes the music scene and themselves too seriously. This is what its about - fun rap. Not too serious or pretentious.

After - Healing our sorrows

This is the first song I've heard from this band and I haven't heard any others. In fact, I only first heard this song like 20 minutes ago but I can't stop listening to it. I love the nostalgic sound of it and the melodies are just amazing.

I wanna be your dog - The Stooges

The song has a fantastic riff, it's very simple and very effective, it's easily the best thing about the song, as I don't think Iggy Pop has a very good voice. It's an interesting song because a lot of it feels like a punk song except the riff and the solo. So it's a mix of rock and punk.

Taverns-World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Original Soundtrack

Yeah, my time ran out two days ago, so I'm having withdraws (not really, but I'd like to play a bit), and listening to the Burning Crusade OST, since that's my favorite expac. ;)

Eagleheart - Stratovarius

I love love LOVE this song! It's remarkably epic and uplifting, especially considering how awful the rest of Stratovarius' work is. But the chorus almost makes me feel like I can fly if I sing loudly enough...or something. xD

Will.i.am feat. Mick Jagger- T.H.E

I heard this on the way in to work this morning. This is a really dancey type pop song....that REALLY reminds me of something Benny Benassi would make because of the synths and the bass. Anyways, I was jammin' until the end of this when I had a wtf moment when I heard Mick on it :lew: ...anyways. It's a nice song. I'm sure it'll get annoying for me at some point, but I'm enjoying it right now.

One word: ethereal.

I wish it was longer though. :(

I have just acquired Megadeth's 'Youthanasia' album on vinyl. It sounds amazing compared to the Remix/Remastered CD version I bought years ago. David Ellefson's bass has this really nice distinctive pop to it that just isn't as apparent on CD. or Youtube clip.

The Joy Formidable- A Heavy Abacus

I really don't know what it is that I like so much about this ...but I really like this song a lot :lew: I get just a bit of a Paramore feel to this for whatever reason. The lyrics are really pretty and I like the beat.

Gimme All Your Luvin' - Madonna

LUV MADONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNA :inlove:

Finally something that sounds fresh and fun from her again. So excited for MDNA.

Nicki And MIA add a bit to the song, but it was just as good without them. But this is Madonna, she knows how to get attention, and featuring them does just that. I love the retro vibe of it. :inlove:

Better Off Dead by Lostprophets. I am planning on seeing this band in April/May as I am loving them so much! Some fans don't particularly like this; But I'm loving it. :) Hoping their new album is as good as this.
