[V5] What are you currently listening to?

Fantastic Baby by Big Bang
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAbokV76tkU&feature=relmfu

My cousin recently inducted me into the Korean Pop craze. Sigh. This is my latest craze for now. Quite a club-ready piece, I would think. I don't even understand what they're saying, though I suppose deciphering the lyrics wouldn't do me good. Seems to me these songs rarely have really meaningful lyrics... >.> It's still too catchy for me to deny though. Sigh.

Florence - Only If For A Night - That main line in the song is something amazing...can't get enough of it :)

Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know - I'm sure that most people know this song by now...but I was a bit late on the uptake lol. Very simple. Very basic. Very catchy. I like

Underground hip hop is my soul.

Nujabes - Under the Hood (feat. Specifics)

RIP Nujabes.

indeed :(

the guy was almost/just as brilliant as shoji meguro.

People can hate on Japanese RPGs as much as they want, but we all know that they have good music :neomon:

The Genesis is a fairly long track. It's nice, dark and sinister and has a heroic end. It amazes me that Shoji Meguro pushes out so many great tracks for so many of ATLUS' prominent projects like the SMT series and Catherine.

Still on Fantastic Baby, really. Per my habits, I'm going to be listening till I either go crazy or get sick of it. Most likely the latter. Boom shakalaka. Boom shakalaka. Well, I guess one thing that's really impressive about Korean music in general is how these huge groups survive. Big Bang have 5 members, if memory serves me right. 2pm has 6. Super Junior has a whooping... double digit number. Girls Generation at 9. And there're a whole lot of other groups around. Wouldn't the market be so splintered up that all these groups get a smaller portion of the pie than they could have?

Whatever. Boom shakalaka. Boom shakalaka. Still too catchy.

Marilyn Manson's cover of 'Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)'

I prefer the Sucker Punch version actually, but this is quite cool, if his kind of music is what you're into. I used to find him stupid, but now I actually listen this song is actually okay. I'm gonna give his new album 'Born Villain' a listen when it's out, too. I'm interested to see how it sounds.

Linkin Park - Burn it Down

They have a new album coming out in June. I've liked almost all of their stuff they have released so Im excited for it

My room mate introduced me to a remix of this song when I heard it for the first time. Then I heard this version (original) and wanted to slap myself for thinking the remix was better. Although that was just because that was the one I heard first, I find this song to be amazing. :ryan:

Bullet For My Valentine - Fever

These guys are really the heaviest that I will go, and the main reason I listen to them is because their songs are full of amazing guitar riffs. Fever is no exception. I heard it today whilst my playlist was on shuffle and had to play it on the guitar when I got home!

Modern Wolf Hair - Chiodos

Brandon Bolmer has a really interesting voice. Of course it goes with the fab of the Scene scene, and the other movements that follow, but I must say that his voice sticks out to me the most. His screams leave something to be desired. xD

sonic syndicate - enclave
sonic syndicate is one of my favorite bands and this was the first song i heard by them that got me hooked.

Ending Theme to Final Fantasy X.
This is quite possibly the best ending theme of any game. The arrangement is incredibly gentle and all of the strongest themes in FFX make their way in, with the Hymn of Fayth first reflecting the calm which follows defeating Sin (and death), followed by a slow, solemn version of To Zanarkand... and we all know what that means. :sad3:

This guy's music is produced by Martin "Doc" McKinney, the same man who produces for Drake and The Weeknd. McKinney favors his fellow Canadians and they never cease to disappoint me. Jhyve is of no exception to the "Canadian musicians never cease to disappoint sneakerpimp" rule. He sort of resembles a young Lenny Kravitz pre-rock and roll style and yet he sounds like ... well like himself to be honest. His voice is nice though, very soothing, and it fits the sleek production of the track. He also gets bonus points for having an awesome video showing him walking through the streets of Toronto (?). He's clad in this jacket and this shirt and he has these tattoos and unnnf. I love men who have tattoos. Tattoos are sexy. Anyway, bottom line: Good song. Artist is Canadian = 50 bonus points. Doc McKinney produced it, moar bonus points. Awesome ass video. Love. It.
