its so amazing,it clears out your mind and whats on your mind when you listen is something related that happened to u a few hours ago.

Lady GaGa - Beautiful, Dirty, Rich

Although it's the shortest song on The Fame, it's very effective. The lyrics are reflective upon rich people and their lifestyles. I love the random piano sounds in certain parts of the song and makes it a little darker.

10/10

Owl City - The Saltwater River

An excellent song, it has a fantastic rhythm, especially at the beginning it's very soothing. The lead singers voice is actually quite soothing too, and the lyrics are very good. I love the chorus part with the duet though, the female singer adds a lot to the song and aces her vocals very well :-)

White Rabbit - Jefferson Airplane.

The drums work really well in making this song excellent, and I love the drugged up, psychedelic vibe that this song has. The vocal delivery though, has to be what makes this song. Grace Slick has a fantastic voice, and her delivery, at the start of the song in particular, is amazing, it adds to that psychedelic vibe to the start before taking it somewhere totally different right at the end. I love the Alice in Wonderland inspired lyrics too. xD

McFly - The Heart Never Lies

Probably the best song I've ever heard from them, glad they slightly changed their sound after getting their own record label. It's excellent and really appeals to me. Even the video is so heartbreaking, but displays a very good message to everyone. It might be slow at the beginning, but picks up halfway through and that's when it becomes amazing.

10/10

Ram Jam - Black Betty

Guitar riffs, funky lyrics and upbeaty. Truly awesome song, but I can understand why some women found it offensive ... but its so funky :|

10/10

Pet Shop Boys - Always on my Mind

Such an amazing cover of a classic song. Love the PSB, remind me of my childhood. Gives me goosebumps each time I listen to it. When I was younger I had no idea what the lyrics were about. But now after being in serious relationships, not to sound corny, but its a song I can relate to.

Leaders of the Free World - Elbow
After hearing good things about their older stuff, I've decided to check it out. So far I'm loving this album (same name as the track) a lot more than The Seldom Seen Kid, though I'm yet to hear a better track than One Day Like This.

Girls Aloud - Sound Of The Underground

It's seven to eight years old now, but I still remember getting this on CD as soon as it was released and playing it in the car over and over. It's a brilliant song with everything I love: fantastic, sexy vocals, electric guitars, drums and a catchy chorus that doesn't do your head in after millions of plays.

10/10

Blinding - Florence & The Machine
Nice and soothing stuff. I've really come to like Florence Welch's voice lately. This probably isn't the best song on the album, but it's still quite good.

Garbage - Silence is Golden

Ive not listened to Garbage since I was at university. So brings back good and bad memories. But thats not Shirleys fault XD They were such an amazing band.

10/10

Garbage were indeed awesome.

Nothing Lasts Forever - Maroon 5
I prefer their version to the one that Adam Levine did with Kanye West. It has a much more calming and relaxing feel to it.

Monsters of Rock: Judas Priest :mokken:

nuff said
this song is one i find to be rather epic really. The begining has that creepy omg-whats-happening effect to it that i find nice. and then the drums intro just blows me away, these guys have a base drum kick that can blow out ur eyes tbh.

In My Place by Coldplay

There's something about this song that gets to me...I don't know why but it just does. It might be a line in the song; "And if you go, if you go and leave me down here on my own then I'll wait for you...". Kinda holds a special meaning for me, I guess...

Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm - Crash Test Dummies

One of my favourite songs that I recently rediscovered. I used to listen to it all the time and my Dad played it in the car for me when I was younger.

It's such a catchy song as well... even if you hum it, you're singing it.

10/10 because I will listen to it for years.

3OH!3 feat Katy Perry - Starstrukk

I have had this song stuck in my head all day. >.< I absolutely love it and I play it every time I get in the car. It's always the first one to come on. >.<

Love the lyrics and the guys are have awesome voices!

Katy Perry is just amazing as usual. >.<

I love the video clip too! It's fantastic!

Hit The Lights - Pulse

10/10

Hit The Lights is probably my most beloved band. I'm sure there isn't a song I disliked from them. At the moment this is my favorite track, I've been playing it over and over again this whole week. There's something about this song--it's rebellious and sweet at the same time.

淹没 - Lust.Caution (movie) theme

I chanced on this Er Hu solo version on YouTube. Listening to it yet again. Probably starting to like this piece from the movie more and more. Nonetheless, I feel thy the emotions encompassed within the song is well expressed. Inspired me to return to the Er Hu as well. Will give it a shot.

Angels - All Angels

I've never liked Robbie Williams. I probably never will. These wonderful ladies not only make his songs bearable, they make them absolutely beautiful. Things always sound better to my ears when they have a classical or more simple twist to them...

Fireworks, by You Me At Six.

This song is gorgeous. :D Is that even possible? Well they made it possible. The lyrics to this song are great. The soft melody they have going on with the strong message is something I really like about this song.
