Push-Enrique Iglesias ft Lil Wayne
Great song. Very upbeat and has a nice zing to it. Enrique is a talented guy and paired up with lil wayne they make a good team =D The song is catchy and I could listen to it all day everyday and I wouldn't get tired of it. Dunno why I like it :hmmm: Good song (y)

The Decemberists - The Rake's Song

As far as songs about infanticide go, it's a pretty damn good. I saw this band play live last week and this song was probably the highlight for me. I like how the dynamics of the song increase as the song progresses. The Acoustic guitar and vocals appeal to me greatly in this song. The drumming is also quite good, it greatly contributes to the progressive dynamics that I mentioned before.

(there's gotta be) more to life- Stacie Orrico
Old ass song. Great song to me though. I always love the vid<3 anyways, Stacie deff has a pair of lungs on her. Her voice is very strong and she sang this song greatly. Great lyrics as well ^^ along with the music. Couldn't have been more put together.

Cheryl Cole - Parachute

I've had a few listens and whilst it's not the strongest song she's released so far, there's something damn catchy about it. Her voice ain't half bad, but the music could be a little better here. Don't know what to really make of it yet, might know when I've had a few more listens.

Ignorance, by Paramore.

This song has a great message to it. It has a great beat to it, and I love Hayley's voice in this song. x3 Specially the lyrics are love.

x3 Sucker for Paramore.

Crying Lightning - Arctic Monkeys
Annoyingly, its been stuck in my head for several days now. It's pretty much just one of those songs that you listen to on a night out. They've gone a long way downhill between this album and their second, unfortunately.

My Last Serenade - Killswitch Engage

Since I heard my old school might be closing, the song has been stuck in my head. It has a good beat and I like the song, even though I can't understand a word that singer is saying.

Lady GaGa- Speechless

She sang it in the Grammys. It isn't bad, although not terribly amazing either. The song is a good showcase for GaGa's voice to be blasted out. This song is different to the previous songs I have heard from her. It is a bit of power ballad and it is touching to see how the song was written as a plea for GaGa's father to have open-heart surgery, as it does show that GaGa is human. Some bits remind me of works from Queen and Pink. But then again, I don't think ballads are GaGa's forté.

Brad Paisley-Whisky Lullaby FT Alison Krauss
Very sad song. Brad Paisley and Alison have beautiful vocals and they work well in this song. I like the song it just makes me sad with the lyrics. Not to mention the video just adds to it. Nicely done by both artist and this song is very bittersweet. Gave me chills tbh.

Dolphin feat. Stella--"Glaza (The Eyes)"

Actually found this song on an AMV while browsing YouTube for new anime series to watch, and couldn't get it out of my head. Dolphin's lyrics are all in Russian, but Stella sings parts of the song in English, and it sounds really cool, along with having a great melody. I don't speak Russian unfortunately, but have tried to look up some of Dolphin's lyrics for this and other songs on Google Translate, and he sings about a lot of unusual, interesting stuff. Very pleasant to listen to even though I don't understand all of it :)

Alicia Keys - Empire State Of Mind (Part II) Broken Down

I actually prefer this version to the one she does with Jay-Z. She can easily showcase her voice here and love how she plays the piano for the majority of the song until it kicks in right at the end. If anything, this song's made me want to go to New York more than anything else.

The album 'Sing the Sorrow' by AFI

This is the only AFI album I really dig, and most of the songs on it have quite catchy tunes and singing. As a matter of fact, it is so catchy I usually push the repeat button when the last song has ended! The kinda weird 'oh!' screams of the singer are brilliant.

Alexandra Burke - Broken Heels

Got the TV to myself for now, so I'm aimlessly flicking through the music channels to get a good song to listen to. This one came up and I love how there's an X Factor winner with such an attitude that they defy Simon Cowell. I'm hopelessly hooked on her album and this song in particular. It just never seems to get old for me lately.

Undisclosed Desires - Muse
It's becoming my favourite track from The Resistance. The bass to it is pretty incredible and I'm starting to be become a fan of Matt's switch to keytar. I'd still rather they don't take the style further though, if there's to be a sixth album I want it to be more like their early days than this.

Miley Cyrus: The Climb

It's a nice song. She puts it bluntly in my opinion that it's not whether you succeed or fail, it's trying. I always listen to this song when I am feeling down about something and it cheers me up

Tori Amos--"Horses"

Just love the mood of the song--it's just her and the piano, lots of reverb, and it's got this great sort of dark, cool feel to it--I know it sounds dismal but it's oddly relaxing in a way. And most of the song is very faint piano, but there's one point after the intro where she starts playing these very loud, heavy notes in unusual minor chords and it's indescribably fantastic :D It's also one of her many songs that reference the works of Neil Gaiman (Stardust, Mirrormask, etc.) which is cool--they're friends and apparently they reference each other in their work frequently.

"3am"-Eminem
He always has strong-very well written songs. This song (what I heard) is about cereal killer. It would be very disturbing if it was about him killing people. O_O. I may sound crazy but I like this song. I can't quite wrap it around my finger either :hmmm:

Andreas Vollenweider--"Pyramid in the Wood"

A very unusual instrumental song. I'm not even sure when it's from, I first heard it a few years ago on the Soundscapes channel on MusicChoice, but it's very interesting--it starts off with a nice mellow tune, and eventually ends up with some bizarre vocals and kooky synthesizer effects about halfway through it. It's one I often end up listening to when I've been working on a project for a while and start wondering if I should go to sleep, because it's kind of relaxing--it kind of has a feeling of trekking through the woods for a while and then still having a long way to go. Maybe I'm on my way to the Temple of the Ancients? :hmmm:

Avalanche - Marie Digby

It's a shame she's probably not going to go any further than Youtube really, she has a few albums out on iTunes/Amazon but she deserves far much more attention. She has an amazing voice and I'd rather listen to this song and her in general than most of the stuff in the charts. Quite emotional lyrics which are fantastic considering she wrote them herself. A largely unrecognised talent :-)

Lady GaGa Feat. Beyonce - Telephone

Hadn't heard this for a while and with a music video due to be released very soon, I've started listening to it once again. It's a typical GaGa song with catchy lyrics and a beat to go along with it. Beyonce being added in the middle is just the icing on the cake. It's lovely to see two artists I really like doing a record together.
