Sugababes - Wear My Kiss

I've had one or two listens and it spells CLASSIC all over it so far. It's not released physically until next month, but I love the new sound of the new Sugababes so far. I'm still disappointed Keisha isn't there anymore, yet I'm in love with this song. The chorus is very catchy, I even find myself "da da da da" etc when it comes to that part.

For a Pessimist, I'm Pretty Optimistic, by Paramore.

:ryan:

Great song, awesome music, and great lyrics! x3 <3 Definitely a song to listen to from their Riot! album. :D

Just talk yourself up
And tear yourself down
You've hit your one wall
Now find a way around
Well what's the problem?
You've got a lot of nerve

So what'd you think I would say?
No you can't run away, no you can't run away

I never wanted to say this
You never wanted to stay
I put my faith in you, so much faith
And then you just threw it away

West of Hollywood - Steely Dan

Steely Dan are notorious for their eccentric lyrics, and I can never tell what the message each song portrays... if any.

In any case, this song is stunning in my eyes. The saxophone that makes up the last half of the song is just master class. Very catchy and I love the pace.

Together Again- Janet Jackson

I like this song! It has a good beat and good lyrics! I don't really like her voice, but it works in this song. She is my favorite Jackson! I recently got her CDs and they are pretty good.

Our Lady Peace- "Thief"

Love this song. I think "Happiness..." is their best album, their sound is the best and all the songs work really well together thematically. This particular song really helped me get through a tough time some years back, but now I'm listening to it again for the sheer greatness of it.

"As the world explodes, we fall out of it,
And we can't let go because this will not go away,
There's a house built out in space..."

Two Is better the One- Boys like Girls ft Taylor Swift
Fantastic song<3 Taylor and BLG's lead singer go great together and it was the perfect song to have the pair sing. It's lyrics are lovely; just the song as a whole is lovely. =)
This has grown to be one of my fave songs. I love listening to it! :] I'm a fan of both Boys like Girls and Swift and they both are talented.

Riverside - Sidney Samson

How this is #5 in the UK Top 40 is beyond me, I think I can happily say this is going to be the worst song of the year and it's only January. The whole song is shit, it has some nasty beat that gets annoying after the first few seconds and some dick who just sings "Riverside Motherfucker" once in a while. Utter crap. :ffs:

Timbaland Feat Katy Perry - If We Ever Meet Again

I've had a few listens and love it already that it's on par with Morning After Dark for me. Adding Katy Perry with Timbaland seemed odd to me at first, but it's definitely paid in this song. Timbaland even sings in this one and he's not half bad at all! Love the ending since you can proper dance to it.

Cheryl Cole- Parachute

When I first heard this, I asked myself- did I type in the right artist?- because Cheryl's voice here sounds absolutely amazing, it does sound slightly different from what I heard in Fight For This Love and 3 Words, which was a pleasant surprise. I like the lyrics in the chorus, though unfortunately I found the chorus itself slightly lacking in something, leaving it a bit bland. These are my initial impressions, so I'll let it grow on me first. But keep going Cheryl, you're doing great!

JLS - One Shot

They're probably the only boyband I like at the moment. I'm not one of those screaming and annoying fan girls you see all the time, however. I do have to admit this song is even better than Beat Again and Everybody In Love. I can't stop listening to at times, probably because the music seems electro somehow. At least I think that lol. At times, I think Aston's high vocals make him sound like a girl. xD

Splender- "Wallflower"

One of my favorite songs ever. I'm not sure if the band is still together or not--last I heard they were planning to reorganize--but they have an amazing sound, lots of great guitar riffs and really original, slightly sarcastic (in a good way) lyrics. This particular song is about feeling outcast from a group, and it's got this great wall of guitars in the verses and probably my favorite solo ever in the bridge part. It makes me dance in ways that no one should ever have to see. :boogie:

Bryan Adams - Summer Of '69

Haven't heard this in aaaaaaages. It's the best song from him in my honest opinion. Loved it when he sang this live, everyone was rocking out to this. Probably one of the very first songs I ever heard from him, too! Bryan's got awesome vocals and the electric guitar sound in it sounds amazing.

The Warning-Eminem
Hilarious song that Eminem made after MC dissed him in her "Obsessed" song and how it was suppose to be him and whatnot. He totally gets back at he 10 times as worse XD. Eminem is a great rapper IMO

When I'm Gone- 3 Doors Down
Beauitful song. Great lyrics. This is one of my favorite bands and this song is one of my favorite of theirs. They have talent and I love listening to this song. Idunno the lyrics always get to me and I love singing along xD.

Montreux- "Egrets"

This song is a really cool instrumental piece that combines piano and steel drums in a really funky, interesting way. I'm not sure if it was actually written about egrets, but it always makes me think of them walking around bobbing their heads in some of the swampy nature parks around where I live. It also makes me think of some fond memories I have as a kid of going to an empty beach every Saturday in the late afternoon and eating ice cream, then going back to my room at my dad's house and writing stories while listening to this song until it got late enough that I needed to use a flashlight to see the paper. Whenever I hear this song I can still smell beach sand, it's cool :)

Disloyal Order Of Water Buffaloes, by Fall Out Boy.

I like this song. I don't have many Fall Out Boy songs, but the ones I do have, I adore. This is on my liking side. It's different. xD

Love the music and the lyrics on this song.

Sugababes - Wear My Kiss

After five listens in my iTunes, I am officially hooked on this song. It's even more ironic that it's being released physically around Valentine's Day as well. It's definitely got that theme and it's literally like a vixen knowing that a guy wants her or something like that. Either way, it's a very catchy song.
