Death Is Just A Feeling - Avantasia

This song is actually quite creepy...and I love it. The vocalist is pretty damn awesome, he reminds me in some ways of Alice Cooper. Overall, the song is one of my favourites from their new albums - its catchy enough to have me listening to it on repeat for a while, anyway. XD

Joanna Newsom -Good Intentions Paving Company

It is a hopeful song about how good intentions can go wrong but that doesn't mean things can end up good. I also like how her voice has gotten smoother and less scratchy like her two last albums. As well as having less cryptic lyrics than Ys (Which is still beautiful by the way).

Waiting For Today To Happen - The Lightning Seeds
One of my favourite songs by them. It's cool and relaxing, not too heavy. Ian Broudie's voice in particular is really good on this track. I really like how it builds up from essentially just a guitar and some keyboards to a pretty big finish.

Mika vs. RedOne ¦ Kick-Ass

I think it is called Kick-Ass, well it is definitely the theme for the film. The song is quite good and I like it. It's the only Mika song I like and did notice some resemblence in the music to Monster by Lady Gaga, but that's because it's produced by RedOne. The song is good and catchy and I like the voice he uses. ^_^

Open Your Eyes - Snow Patrol

I've always liked this song, it's not "amazing" as such but it's pleasant on the ears, it has a nice soft and constant beat in the back and the vocals are pretty solid, and again, quite soft overall. Lyrics aren't anything amazing either but overall it's a nice song to listen to.

Pour Some Sugar On Me, by The Maine.

xD I like their cover better than the original. John's voice just has that extra likability about it, and I love it. xD Specially the pre-chorus. :D

Pour some sugar on meeee! Red light, yellow light, green light, go! ♪

STEP you - Ayumi Hamasaki

1234 you and me! I love this song and the video rocks. (miss)understood is my favorite Ayu album of all time! 12 step you! It's got a really original background track and Ayu's voice sounds fantastic.

Back to California - Sugarcult

Great song. The lyrics are really nice, and the mellow beat the song has really makes it flow nicely together.

I love a lot of Sugarcult's stuff, but this is definitely a top one in their slower stuff. Amazing song!

Pure - The Lightning Seeds
Another brilliant song by them. Broudie's voice is really nice in it, and I think it's a rather beautiful song when you listen to the lyrics.

N-Dubz - Strong Again

It's the only song I like from them since I can't stand any other one they've made. It gives out a very good message to young people. The chorus is my favourite part. I love Tulisa's voice, it sounds so polished and yet can get better at the same time.

Ophelia's Song - Grapes

It's in the style of trip-hop. I have no idea what that means or who this group are. I just subscribe to channel that's associated with The Cosmic Lounge so I get loads of different types of electronic music in my inbox.

I really like it though. It's very calming and almost has a Mediterranean feel about it, like music associated with Greek Gods. The beats and music are very subtle and the vocals, whilst not singing lyrics, they really click IMO.

Mumford & Sons - The Cave

Truly an amazing band and fabulous songs. This is one of my favs from the album, cant stop listening to it. Marcus Mumford has a beautiful voice <3

Memorial Address - Ayu

I hadn't listen to this song before on her mini-album! I love it, and the whole rock edge is really unexpected about half way through the song. I love the way her vocals can almost merge with the music, and make their own beat. It's amazing.

And it helps that it has the piano, my favorite instrument!

Final Fantasy XIII Music - The Sunleth Waterscape

This is most likely my favourite song in Final Fantasy XIII, it sounds very nice throughout, sounding both catchy and pretty, a great combination, it would seem. Rating: 10/10

Step into the rainbow, find another view
Chase the tender light, borders let's cross over
Ready to define the mists inside your heart
Take a breath and start your life
Waves of a new day
Clear all the gloom away
Hope is what we simply need to proceed

Tender - Blur
One of the best songs Blur ever did. Damon Albarn's voice is slightly different to usual in this and I think it really works with the song. The backing vocals in the chorus are brilliant too.

Timbaland Feat. Justin Timberlake - Carry Out

I think it goes back to what makes hip hop, well, hip hop. I love how Justin's the major vocalist in this song because I seem to think Timbo's more suited to the musical arrangement here. He's not too bad at rapping either. It's a very catchy song, though. I hope it charts really high over here. They're a good combination.
