[V5] What are you currently listening to?

I love how fast this song is, how she vocalizes "Baby" it's just so cool. It's a fun happy song that is completely innocent. I love it

A Ghost is Born - Wilco

Probably their bleakest sounding album (this is what happens when your singer/songwriter is depressed and addicted to painkillers), it's a tougher listen than their other records, but there's some fine songs on here. Few do heartfelt as well as Jeff Tweedy, and the occasions where they cut loose are great. Not so sure about the ten minutes of feedback at the end of one song though!

Nancy Ajram - "Zaman Kan andi alb"

Nancy Ajram - "Zaman Kan andi alb"

I just love the slow guitar it gives off this classic rock vibe and how she's singing through the song slowly and then she vocalizes is just so beautiful. Her voice blends with that slow guitar in yet stands out. Her voice is soft and quiet at first and then grows strong and determined but still has that light sound.

The rifts of the guitar stay stuck in my head ALL day long and I love it. Please, listen to this song, it's beautiful.

Song: God Particle
Artist: Hans Zimmer
Album: Angels & Demons OST

Awesome. I'm playing it on repeat.
I have no idea how this man managed to make a 'God' theme, but he did it. He is Hans Zimmer afterall.

SILVERSUN PICKUPS - THE ROYAL WE
Love love love love LOVE this band. The drumming is so adictive to listen to, it's so loud yet soft. The guitar and piano are really really unique and I love how they go so good with his voice and the drums.

My fav part has to be the Violin sound, it's so wicked. And that slow guitar solo is AMAZING!

Ooh, and his voice after the solo is so cool. I love how rough and agressive it sounds and how it's like he's screaming but he isn't.

Very awesome song.

Song: Together Again
Artist: Janet Jackson

I haven't listened to her in a looooooooong time. But that song never gets old. It's full of feeling but happiness as well. I heard it was dedicated to all victims of AIDS, with that being said, I highly respect this song no matter what. Beautiful and uplifting lyrics. The more I listened to this during times of reflection it always made me feel alright about death. Thanks Janet.

Silversun Pickups - Sort Of

I love the fast drum and how it goes slow and then fast. How he says "Do you" really quietly and then says "THINK" in a half scream-voice--is awesome.

This song just makes me super upbeat and makes me wanna jump around or move my head to the music.

Oh, and the guitar solo is PERFECT! It always stays stuck in my head for the longest time.

It's a great song.

Song: Stranger In Moscow
Artist: Michael Jackson

It's strange. Every time this song comes on, I want to skip it. I always have the feeling it's too slow or repetitive or sad... But when I leave it on, I'm just mesmerized at the creativity of it and I think to myself "I need to listen to this song more often. It's awesome."
Again, I think this is magic. I don't know what is it that Mr. Jackson does but he creates an atmosphere where you're unwanted, unknown and whatnot. I can clearly picture myself in Moscow, but Moscow in particular.

An easy 10/10

I'm playing it on repeat now >.<

Silversun Pickups - Catch And Release

This is one of their slower songs. THe slow bass guitar in the beginning is so...so captivating, ye know. It's really simple but it's so unique and wicked sounding.

There's like this light piano sound in the background sometimes and it's a great touch. His voice is really light and kinda soft most of the time through this song and through the chorus. But when it gets to the clincher of the song, he does this really great vocalizing that ends with violins taking over the song.

The lyrics are really really sweet I just love this whole song.

Song: Yamato Nadeshiko
Artist: Di'LL
From: Shugo Chara!

It's Shugo Chara, I know, chuck something at me if you want :gonk:

It's traditional Japanese okay?! I like it! D:

PATRICK WOLF - "HARD TIMES"

This song is very political and holds such a strong meaning. The Violin in the background is something that always brings me back to this song. It's just sounds broken and so worn down. I love how it goes so well with his voice, it's just a great song.

If Only They Knew - A Rocket To The Moon

This song has me hooked, lol. Lyrics are very catchy, and I like the melody. Specially the

Talk to me, I'm torn; I could get lost in a voice like yours ...

is an amazing line. ^_^ Love it.

Blinded By Light- Masashi Hamauzu

That'll be the Final Fantasy XIII Battle Theme.

All in all, it sounds rather okay... My favorite segment would be the part where they start playing using what sounds distinctively like violins. It makes the battles a nicer experience when you have music that actually makes you hum along with it.

Led Zeppelin- Tangerine

I love this songs slow beat and romantic lyrics. How Robert Plant says "Tangerine" is so pretty, I know he's a guy but it sounds pretty.

And I just love how the whole song just sounds so romantic with that slow guitar. It's just so epic, ya know? My dad always played Led Zeppelin when I was a kid and this was definitely one of my favorite songs to listen to...it still is.

I love the song, it's one of their bests.

Nightcore <3.

They mostly remix songs, earwormesque goodness.

Samantha - Hole

I think it's a really catchy song. She has a really interesting voice too, in my opinion. I love the guitar, especially, in this song, although I could have SWORN I've heard that guitar intro in another song before, it's driving me insane.

MICKEY AVALON- My dick

Teen Dream - Beach House

This is lovely, possibly my favourite album of the year so far. Their gorgeous dream pop has been given a bit more backbone and the results work perfectly. They've really hit their stride on this third album.
