Let Me Fall - Bethany Galeotti

I was thinking of the theme for this week's SOTW. My trail of thought sort of ended up on this song. I heard it when I was a huge fan of One Tree Hill years ago. It's a beautiful song. Unfortunately, I found out just now that a studio version was never released. :rage: I have to make do with the one on Youtube that has bits of dialogue. :hmph:

Let me feel
I don't care if I breakdown
Let me fall, even if I hit the ground
And if I cry a little, die a little
At least I know I lived, just a little

Michiko To Hatchin OST Surf Ferroviario

Not my favorite on the soundtrack, but its still amazing. Though I can't lie, I absolutely love the entire soundtrack. :sup:

Do you guys like dance/funk? Or maybe 70/80s music? Well then I implore you to listen to some of the music to this anime, its amazing. And I usually hate anime music. :gonk:

10/10

Basement Jaxx- Jus 1 Kiss

:jess: I love this :raye: Basement Jaxx makes the cutest songs, I sware :lew: The lyrics at the beginning make you think this is going to be some ridiculous cheesy love song but the rest of the song is pretty mellow. I love the beat too :ohoho:

A question to Heaven - Iced Earth; A Dark Saga - Power/Thrash Metal

Love this song. It starts off with twenty seconds of guitar, then Matt Barlow comes in with his tender vocals. A minute of that, then comes his heavy vocals. From then there out is just pure awesomeness. The whole album in general is awesome, and it's based off of the story of "Spawn". Truly it is a great album, and this song is just a fraction of its awesomeness. :ryan:

10/10

Kandy-Sugar Agreed! I love Tay Tay Swift. :D I get to see her this month in concert.

This song is really good, and reminds me of some stuff that went down last night.

Amerika - Rammstein

Not my favourite Rammstein song, but one I find ridiculously entertaining, because it's quite clearly taking the piss...unsurprisingly, since this is very typical of Rammstein. Coca-Cola! Wunderbra! :wacky:

Too Little, Too Late - A Skylit Drive

After watching an interview with ASD's clean vocalist - Micheal "Jag" Jagmin - I heard this song in the background. throughout the entire interview, I was singing along, so after that it's been on repeat ever since. I really love his vocals in this song. The range is really good. And the breakdown in the middle is pure earsex. :ryan:

Muse - Uprising

wowwwn weewwwww!

It took a long time for me to get into the resistance. Kind of like how it took me 20 years to realize mustard was good on a hot dog. But you can't hate muse after you've run it through your head enough times

:rage:

If You Lived Here, You'd Be Home - A Skylit Drive

Love the song, love Jag's voice, and just love the band. REally love how in the song his voice sounds like its echoing. The screams are great. And the ending is just spectacular. :ryan:

Rihanna ft. Calvin Harris- We Found Love

This is such a pretty song :( I love the lyrics to this combined with the beat...and the fact that its a dance track. So few mainstream artists can pull off the dance track thing so it can end up being really cheesy and overly done but this is very well balanced.

Dead Heart in a Dead World - Nevermore

It's sad that loomis left the band :(. I just love this song, and morso on the live CD "The Year of the Voyager" because in the first bit of the song, the singer just sings in acapella and it's simply haunting. True metal vocals right there. :ryan:

Emerald Instrumental Irish/Celtic Music

It finally has a youtube video to listen to instead of listening to it on Zune or iTunes. I just can't stop listening to this song, its super amazing. Celtic and Irish music = great dance/happy music. :x3:

9.5/10

Bees - Warpaint

I like this song, the opening minute and a half is sublime. The drums and the guitar and the bass give it make it sound like it's electronic. It sounds more like the opening of a rap song than a rock one. The vocals have an almost ethereal quality. The sound is just magnificent.

If You Lived Here, You'd Be Home - A Skylit Drive

I love this song, I love the lyrics, and just overall a great song. The arrangement is great, and the screams are perfectly placed. Not much else can be said aside that it's awesome. :jay:

Safe and Sound - Kyosuke Himuro Feat. Gerard Way

REally love this song. I'm not too keen on Kyosuke's voice, but for him being a japanese man, and singing in english, it's pretty okay. The highlight of the song is Gerard Way. It's like the lyrics fit him and the type of stuff he sings. So, yeah go G. Way.
