[V5] What are you currently listening to?

Up All Night by Blink-182.

Not too sure about this song... I like parts of it, but I miss their older stuff. Obviously it's good they've mixed it up a bit, but yeah. :/ Reminds me of Angels and Airwaves a little bit.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbH1fjdCqmYSome random YouTube list of "top piano songs". It doesn't sound that bad, especially if one has enough appreciation for the sound of it. Ha. Just hearing the sound of the piano can be rather soothing at times.

God of War from Final Fantasy XIII-2! :) I love discs 1 and 4 of the OST! 2 is a little hit and miss...

Some of the music from XIII-2 sounds Lord of the Ringsy! The Promised Future, for example.

I imagine orcs and golbins everywhere, surrounding Legolas, Aragorn and Gimli!

Crushcrushcrush by Paramore. Huge Paramore fan since their first album, and this is probably my favourite song off of Riot!
I can't wait to hear their new album when it's ready... I'm interested to see what the new line-up (three of them) will come up with. Monster and The Singles Club were good... but I wanna hear more.

Gotta love a bit of Paramore :) First album was awesome back in the day <3

I know, All We Know Is Falling is probably one of my most overplayed CDs.

Anyways, currently listening to Ass Back Home by Gym Class Heroes. I generally prefer their older stuff... But I do quite like this song. The chorus is very pop, but I find it catchy and that. I've been listening to this track a lot today <3

You Never Give Me Your Money - The Beatles

I was inspired to listen to this because of two people in the sb doing some shithouse are pee. It is a glorious song, the first two verses have a slightly sad feeling to them. Then begins a superb medly which makes up the second half of the Abbey Road album. It's sensational music, it's so good that I'm sure the Beatles will be very annoyed with me for posting it in this thread that has so much shit music in it.

Won't Go Quietly by Example. Example is this rapper who's big in the UK and this is really the only song I like by him, it was his first big release. I just find it very catchy... Annoyingly catchy. I miss his music being more like this.

Plug in Baby by Muse. Re-discovered this song today; I didn't realise how much I missed it! Such a good tune; One of my favourite Muse songs of all time. ^_^

Agreed. Was my favourite Muse song till I heard some of the tracks off Absolution -_- I miss old Muse :'(

Currently listening to that S3RL song Tifa posted because it's ridiculously catchy! :gasp:

Yeah... Absolution was great and all.
I'm listening to Foo Fighters again, this time their song 'Times Like These'. I'd rather listen to Nirvana, I will put them on next. :D In a real Nirvana mood... hmm.

Currently listening to Erased by Dead By April.

I love the shit out of this band, and this song isn't particularly my all-time favorite, but it's definitely not my least-favorite. It has a nice balanced sound to it. It's like a cross between Angels of Clarity and I Made it in terms of how heavy and mellow it can be. Great song. :ryan:

Eminem - Lose Yourself

I'm usually really not someone who likes rap, in general - but this is powerful stuff. This guy was trippin on some motherfuckin' charlie sheen when he wrote this shit.

Sometimes I feel like being a competitive elitist loser is a concept that many people aren't familiar enough with. You have your own goals to achieve, doesn't matter what anyone else thinks - you do it for your own satisfaction, so that you can live with yourself without having to hate what you are because of how difficult it is to mold yourself into the figure that you need to be.

Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard.
My favourite song by this band, I don't have much of an idea why. I just like the chorus. Next up I might have to put 'The Concequence' by You Me At Six on... like that song right now.

Hey Zeus The Dungeon - chiodos

Solid song from a really solid band. Great lyrics, the riffs in this song are pretty solid, and piano/keyboards are fucking amazing. Drums could use some work imo, but still a very solid song. :ryan:

The Figurehead - The Cure

It's from the Pornography album, which is probably their most dark and depressing and gothic, ie what people think of when they think about The Cure's music. I think The Figurehead has an oppressive quality, simply because of the brutality of the drumming, it's almost overwhelming. And there's the great line 'I will never be clean again'.

R-Swift -- Awesome God

Ben Henderson used this song as his entrance music tonight at UFC 144.

Pretty awesome~ I has new song to add to teh playlists... :ohshit:
