I say Vincent is WAY stronger than Cloud......well I just say that because Vincent is my favorite character from VII Aside from Sephiroth.......but Cloud is my third favorite ^_^
 
you guys talk about if cloud get close enough he will kill him, But Vincent knows everithing about cloud and will find a way around that sword and if cloud does get close enough do you really think vincent will just stand there like a kid in the street
 
Vincent is possibly the strongest being in the FFVII world. If you've played DoC, you'd see just how obscenely powerful Chaos is compared to Cloud.

I'd have to agree with this statement, and not only that. I'd see Cloud's sword overtaking Vincent's gun pretty quick. As shown in Advent Children when Cloud was blocking the bullets by the remnants, he'd probably do the same to Vincent's bullets.
 
He wouldn't be able to stop Chaos. the speed that Chaos attacks is reminiscent to Dragonball Z. Inhuman. Something not even Cloud could pull off.
 
But at the End of DOC

or so ive been told.

So therefore Cloud would win. Vincents gun is nothing compared to clouds sword - and you forget Cloud was injected with Mako and Jenova cells making him practically superhuman himself - After all his and sephiroths Swordfight in AC is something that would make DBZ proud.
 
VINCENT IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who cares if he couldn't scratch bahamut in Advent Children, you don't see Cloud getting a super awesome game like Vincent (Dirge of Cerberus)! And if you look in the game Kingdom Hearts, Cloud seems to be wearing clothes VERY SIMILAR to Vincent's. Vincent would wipe the floor with Cloud, dead and done.
 
Cloud. Sure Vincent has his overdrives which transform him, but Cloud's been trained in SOLDIER, was a part of Avalanche, experienced Sephiroth's power first hand and his hero stunts, and last of all, he has the Ultima Sword.
 
i dont know bout this one, its really tough, where cloud has power vincent has speed.


if anyone has seen advent childern, the scene were cloud goes to rescue the children from the lost city, you will see what i mean.​

but all in all i would probably go for vincent seeing as he is my favorate final fantasy character of all time :):)​

This is a very tough question to answer. Both of them have their own strengths and their final limit breaks both do tremendous damage. If i had to say one or the other though, i'd say Cloud, because he has a sword, and i like swords ^_^
 
cloud would win. i mean cmon its cloud..CLOUD people. in doc u never see what hapens in the fight with cloud and rosso but id imagine sephiroth is stronger and cloud beat him. but have to say vincent is cooler, although i like cloud more.....dam i make no sense:P
 
ok all of you who said cloud you must not have figured out vincent's best limit works i will explain it it is one of the few attacks that can kill sepheroth with one hit mainly because of the fact that it deals 999,999 damage (not shown in fights) but if it misses then it deal it as a limit hit which is shown.
so i say vincent is stronger.
 
on a scale of badass no messing around attitude id say vincent, but u cant discredit cloud, he beat sephiroth TWICE, bahumet once, and is just a freak, AND a sephiroth clone......and if u know me, i AM a sephiroth fan and i firmly beleive he is the biggest badass ever....I have to say cloud is the better of the two even though i love em both
 
SE said in the Reunion Files, that in AC, all Avalanche members are in level 99, with exception of Cloud that is above it.
 
ummmmm is me or was it vincent who killed the ultimate weapon which is suppose to be a god in the series which would kick the crap out of sepheroth and beahomit put together
