Was Kimahri a Worthless Character in Battle?

i didnt use kimahri for seymour flux i used rikku and tidus they both had use so i just bombarded him with shining gems the harder story bosses are easy if youve caught all the feinds in macalania for the non story bosses like nemisis and penance kimahri had the most useless overdrives though they were alright for some fights has anyone taught kimahri reflect before the 1st seymour battle in macalania? its so funny to sit back and watch him overkill himself

See thats exactly why i trained kimahri. Rikku, Lulu and Kimahri was the only ones with the use ability! And I needed to use various items that could only be used through USE

i didn't use kimahri. hes overdrives are worthless but mighty guard is good. hes ok in story but i don't like to battle with him

I would have to say that his Lancet ability was the only reason of why he was slightly useful in battle. After all, he didn't have Auron's strength or Rikku's luck, so he was pretty useless.

... Although, his Overdrive made up for it ... Sorta.

Other than his Nova and Mighty Guard Lancet abilities, he's pretty useless. I mean I wanted to like him since he was non-human but coupled with the fact he doesn't talk much and when he did it was 3rd person cave talk, he was actually worse than Rikku. I too ended up sending him down both Yuna and Lulu's grid section. I didn't even bother getting his sigil since I didn't feel he was worth the effort, sorry to say :D

I didn't really use Kimahri. But in Kimahri's defense, I'll say that the only three characters that were really neccessary to me were Tidus, Auon, and Wakka.

Tidus and Wakka stayed in my party basicly the whole time due to their harder hitting overdrives like Blitz Ace, Slice & Dice, and Attack Reels. After clearing the Zanarkand, I leveled up Tidus, Wakka & Auron due to their higher STR stat, and their Celestial weapons availability. Kimahri's Saturn Sigil is too much of a pain to get and to this day I've never activated his Celestial weapon.

To put it in better words, every character in the game is basicly the same, the only thing that sets them apart are their overdrives. At the end of the game, the only 4 useful overdrives are Sword Play, Reels, Fury, and Mix.

No, his part in the story wasn't THAT great. But, if you trained him well and put him on a decent grid, like Auron or Tidus, then he'd be pretty good.

His overdrives helped in different situations. Mighty Guard, White Wind, Nova, and a few more were pretty useful if you ask me. haha.

i thought he waz pretty useless. the only reason is because uve got big hitters tidus, auron, and yuna. when u get them up high enough, its stupid to even use kimahri. i didnt even bother wrking on his sphere grid after awhile.

Kimahri is a wuss he's too weak I tried battling with him but couldn't stand him

i have recently started a new game on using the standard Sphere grid and i decided that i would send kimahri down the Black mage path as i think he looks like a black mage and this has made him more useful than Lulu as i no longer have need for her although he doesn't have the 'elemental fury' Overdrive i prefer his overdrive to that of Auron as i didn't like inputting the code (mainly because i sucked at it)

In My opinion Lulu is more useful than kimahri and Auron is very strong too.
But what decide is the way you are useing ur members, u have to think right..BTW U'll have to lvl up all of them coz you'll need every single one.

I didn't even bother using Kimahri after his grid was full. I just chucked him in the back and used him for Peaceful Armlets. His overdrive was crap except for a little bit of White Wind, Nova and Mighty Guard. Never really used that. But I liked Lancet. It gave me a happy feeling it said I learned something.

I thought he was weak and not a really good choice character in my game IMO. My party is always Rikku, Yuna, and Tidus. That's all I need to beat anything.

Oh yeah he was also the enemy's punching bag. He died too many times I got sick of using him. And the fight at Mt. Gagazet, I died a few times.

Honestly, Lulu is less useful than Kimahri is. =/. Once Yuna learns Lulu's black mage skills, Lulu is quite useless. She's no longer needed at all.

I see Kimhari as a rounded character that can do everything, but isn't particularly good at one skill.

Nah, I don't agree with you in this one..Try to throw Kimhari on the crap and start using Lu, you'll see that she's useful too, and as I said before what decide is the way you are using your team members.

Also Yuna Is Has Low DEF And HP So She Will Die Easily,Lulu Has More HP and More Restiance To MAGIC ATTACKS...
