What game did you buy last?

I bought Sonic Generations for my ps3 for pretty cheap off of Amazon. I feel bad it doesn't have any sort of multiplayer or anything, but I've only heard good things about it so I'm looking forward to getting it in the mail.

Terramorphous Soulcorruptor Melvia

I bought Tales of Graces F :hmmm:

I better like this game, otherwise you're all going in the pit :hmph:

Animal Crossing: Wild World
DS

I bought this because I randomly had an urge to play it....My god I did not realise how hard this game is to find in the stores...I was quite happy with a secondhand version, but there was non anywhere except for one store near my house which I actually checked last hahaha. Then that cartridge was broken anyway 8( so I had to return it and eBay it and it finally arrived yesterday.

I played a bit of it, made my character and stuff. It's such a funny little game, some of the shit the characters say is completely random and ridiculous hahaha, it makes me laugh. Anyway, tonight I hope to get a bit more play time in, I'm looking forward to just laying down and relaxing and doing completely mundane tasks like delivering furniture. :ari:

I've got quite a few games heading my way! :3

Persona 4 Golden - Solid Gold Edition<3 (I really just wanted the Vita case, hehe)
Assassin's Creed 3 - along with the PS3 500GB bundle, so I'll be starting PS+
Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward

Finally purchased Tales of Graces f from GameFly, so I'll be renting Borderlands 2 in the meantime. It should be interesting to try out... >.>;

Everything should arrive by this Friday. Hopefully I'll have enough time to play everything. I'm late enough as it is with these games, jeez. ~.~;

I bought the MGS collection, AC Brotherhood and AC revelations for my childhood friends that I've known since I was 6 months old.

For myself?? I bought the Sly collection on PSN. I still haven't downloaded SLY 3 yet

I should really finish my games. :hmmm:

Annon 2070
PC

I must admit I hardly know anything about this game other than it looks like a futuristic Tropico 3 (I fucking love Tropico 3) so I took a bit of a gamble just buying it....I even went for the more expensive ultimate pack. Fingers crossed it's good.

the last game i bought was...mario world for the wii u i suppose.

it's quite fun but just another gimmick. i hope they make good use of their new gimmicky technology and dont turn it into another DONT DO SPORTS. STAY IN AND USE YOUR WII campaign.

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
PS3

Sooooooo this store near my work that imports games from all over the world got this in early. We were meant to wait till the 31st but fuck that.
So I went in and asked if they had it and the guy let it slip that he did haha he was even like "Ooops... i wasn't meant to tell you that..." so he gave me the game anyway. It is an american copy though so I will need to get any DLC I want from the American PSN store which is cool, I've already got one set up.

I'll write about what i think so far in the 'what are you currently playing' thread soon :ari:

ZombiU.

I really like the game but I haven't been playing it much... I still need to do the "complete the game on Survival Mode" thing... But I have been doing other things so I have had almost no time for videogames :(

It's a really fun game though. It makes my heart race.

Great Game! The gameplay is fun and exciting.. and albeit pretty hard at times, even for an adult. The story is epic and intriguing. There is limitless possibilities of customization and leveling up.. you even get to collect 'familiars' to fight for you (like pokemon). The art and animation is flawless seeing that studio ghibli had a hand in creating this, Level 5 outdid themselves this time. I would highly recommend this game to anyone thats a JRPG fan, and if not, I would still recommend this game!

Ehh...

FFXIII
FFXIII-2
WWE13

These were the last games we bought. Those were my Christmas gifts. My Lil Broskis got some games too, but I can't be arsed to remember what they are. Ehh, Dad should also be getting some new games soon.

Fire Emblem Awakening :D

It's a neat new addition to the Fire Emblem roster and I'm REALLY enjoying it. There are a lot of different mechanics from previous games that are incorporated nicely into this one... And there are sidequests so it's not as linear as the other Fire Emblem games. I'm looking forward as to what happens next.

It was a collector's copy of FF XIII-2 just yesterday, although next will be Ni No Kuni, Prepare to Die Edition of Dark Souls.
That's it

I bought some psn games last week that I probably shouldn't have :(

I bought GTA San Andreas. I have loads of love for this game...it brings back many good memories. The graphics aren't anything to rave about, but when you get old games like this its not because the look of them was so great, its generally for the fondness of the story. I got up to Sweet's Girl (the mission) and I've been a little stuck getting capped after I run all of the fools that are holding Sweet up when I get out of my flaming car, but :hmph:

I also got Derrick the Deathfin. It's soooooooooooo adorable, it reminds me a lot of LBP except with fish.

Doom 3 BFG edition for ps3.

I seen a friend play this at his house in the pc and really liked it. Its a horror first person shooter set on mars in a space station. you can draw simularities from the space setting to dead space. From what ive played im really liking it but it does have its flaws. For one the loading times are really long and if you die theres no continues you just load your last saved game. The game will automatically save at certain points while your playing but its not like most games where a little icon comes up telling you the game is saving yet you can still play. It stops the game and saves, which wouldnt be an issue if it was quick. Like i said earlier the load times are far too long and the time it takes to save is the same. You cant aim down the sights of your gun, which for a first person shooter i find very annoying.
Its ported from the PC and i guess its not the best it could be but. Te story and gameplay is brilliant. Theres a lot of interaction with the surroundings. finding documents that will play through your PDA and reveals little secrets in the story to arcade games scattered about the space station that you can play at any time.
The graphics are not as good as they were on the pc which is a shame because they could have broguht it up to par with current gen ps3 games but it doesnt look nearly as good. This is small complaint and it doesnt take away from the game.
Also you get doom 1 and 2 included with the doom 3. So you can play through them aswell.

What does one think of it? Was it on offer? What platform did you get it for? etc etc :)

---------------------------------

The last game I bought was Ni No Kuni. So far, after getting my second party member, I'm loving it. While the sidequests are a bit repetitive, and things move at a slightly slower pace than most people are probably used to, it's completely stunning. The artwork, the music and the characters are all really well done. The battles are fun, once you get out of the first area and start having a challenge. It all...clicks together well :)

Fire Emblem: Awakening. I've never been a huge FE fan but the demo hooked me onto the game. I am playing on casual mode so I can be a strategical dumbass and get everyone killed with no consequences  But really it's just helping me learn how to be a bit more strategic with the games without actually losing anyone. The characters are good, and I like their interactions, plus the upgrades to the battle system with partners and what not makes it a lot of fun to annihilate enemy teams. Sidequests, extra battles, and other things all help to flesh the game out and it's quite good.

Also got Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (Wizard Edition) but haven't played it in a few days. I'm in Mummy's Tummy and stopped playing one evening after getting my ass handed to me. The game itself is quite good, but the boss battles fall apart when you first get Esther because it's very difficult to get everyone to defend before you get something that apparently has them all defend (I have it now but haven't used it). The battle system is fun but has more potential, and the battle theme gets very repetitive over time. Other than that, the music and visuals are great, though.

Draklor - Funny, I literally bought those two games today, lol.

So, I bought Fire Emblem: Awakening (3DS) and Ni no Kuni (PS3). This will be my first experience playing a Fire Emblem, so hopefully it'll be a good one. Although I've heard that it can be frustrating at times... lol. Still not sure if I'll play on Classic Mode or Casual Mode. I don't like the idea of my characters dying and being gone forever. :/ So idk. I'm gonna play it right now! :3

Ni no Kuni - I'll probably play that towards the evening. I'm looking forward to a brand new RPG experience and an interesting storyline! So we'll see.
