Where did you get your username from?

The name Fleur is also the name of the protagonist of a fictional piece of writing I've been doing for a bit of fun. It's French for "flower", and I thought it would be an interesting poetic kind of name as the character's personality blooms into becoming a more open and confident person.
 
My real name is Christine and I had to think of a name for a rp character who would represent me. So I somehow ended up using Crystal for her. Then I became addicted to that name and decided to use it on forums I visited. If it already was available I would just use final from final fantasy in front of it.
 
Mine is from the FF character Namingway, I thought it would be appropriate :D He was prevalent in IV which is my favorite game in the series, and his card in IX is awesome--I got him leveled up to like 7X77 or something and use him all the time to get new ones :8F:

I got mine from when I first met my real father and after a couple of month's he told me that he was going to go get his cloths from where he lived in Texas and I haven't seen him since. I was also nine at the time. So, when he never came back after a few years, it hit me hard. I started to cry from all of te lies he told me. And that is the origin of yours truly.
 
Hmm for me I got my user name because it sounds prity cool and also its final fantasy related in that Phoenix is both a summon and of course Phoenix downs :busta:
 
Im not realy sure....It just poped in my head. I figured since I was in a Final Fantasy forum I should pick something along the lines of Final Fantasy. I dont like to pick charecters for such things so I picked an item.

lol. That's exactly how mine was! I was apart of the survivor draft, and my friend told me to join. So I was like huurrr, I like Cactuars, and walla. It's magic.

My user name comes from the the origins of one of the most powerful stella phenomenon
in existence the :gamma ray burst, produced in the very centre of a galaxy within supermassave blackholes.

Powerful enough to emit trillions of solar mass material in to deepspace and one of the first
stella features I studied , so it holds strong place in my mind.

I got my current username from a song, Sakura Sakura by Rin. It's a gorgeous song, and I actually found out after discovering the song that Sakura was the name for a plant, the cherry blossom. It's also the name of a few anime characters, if I recall correctly.

However, I chose it mainly because of it being the Japanese name for cherry blossoms.
 
Got this name from my character I created, which is of course named Crimson Wolf, since that is my username. With that character, I got into RPing, and that has really changed things a ton for me, I've really gotten into writing now. :D

Before very long at all, I decided I wanted to change my name to that of the character which, also being my Fursona (fur persona. <.<), was the first character I ever created, made a full bio for, and RPed as.

So to answer the question, I got the username from myself. :monster:
 
There really isn't a story behind it. I find that taking relatively common words and accenting a letter or two really helps to increase its overall usability as a screen name.

That's how I ended up as Néar.
 
Even though it's obvious where I got my username from I'll explain anyway. I took the word 'Game', switched the G with the M and the rest is history. I'm clever that way -__-
 
New name, new reasons. :monster:

I got this username from my favorite character in Charmed, Cole Turner. He went from being a half demon-half human District Attorney to becoming the most powerful force in the whole series. The only thing that was able to stop him was...his unhealthy love for Phoebe Halliwell/Alyssa Millano. No matter how many times he tries to be good he always ends up doing something evil. Heck he even altered the reality and changed time to be with Phoebe...now that's something not many men would do. I would if I were that mad for someone like her. ;)

From Silver Bullet..to Jack Nicholson's Wolf...to the one that mario van Peebles was in..can't remember that movie's name right now..but I developed a love for werewolves..and it fits my persona.
An old grey wolf alone on the plains..tired, bitter, angry and alone....
