Would you like to see another spinoff to this game?

No i wouldn't, as much as i like FF7. They made enough already, and making a bunch just to explain the whole story is dumb. I mean, i can understand crisis core because people wanted to know more about zack and aerith but some of the spin offs were retconned so why did they even bother making them you know?


But anyway, again no. They need to stick to other things like KH.
 
i really liked advent children and crisis core but i thought that dirge of cerberus was worse than terrible. i dont think there should be any more spin-offs, however i would like to see a ps3 remake of ff7
 
No, no, no!!!!!!!!!!

I'll admit, thought I sometimes deny it, FF7 was okay. The spin offs are not. They don't even try anymore, they just slap FF7 on there, and know that someone will buy it. Why don't you just make a real sequel already, or a remake, or something useful? Move the story along, and show us something new.

In short, no more spin offs!!
 
Well dirge of cerberus was a good game but not as it would seem for a ff game I didn't enjoy the fps fact to the game but vincent valentine is a great character but they needed more cloud!!!

So yea I wold like another spin of proberly to the movie because they needed to make the movie in to a game.:vincent::vincent::vincent:

Dirge of Cerberus was an awful fucking game, and this is coming from a Vincent Valentine fangirl :P

Advent Children was very pretty and the music was great but it was also completely pointless. The SHM are still a giant joke to me and there was virtually no plot whatsoever.

The only spin-off that is actually good is Crisis Core. Crisis Core was a wonderful game. I could not put it down and I easily consider it to be one of my favorite games. They need to stop with the spin-offs.

FFVII is not only tied as my favorite FF w/IX, but it is also one of my favorite games period....and I still don't think I can take any more half-assed spin-offs :/
 
Nah, not really. I think all the spinoffs have most of the bases covered on the story.

Unless Cloud has a brother who was also part of the whole experiment....or Aerith didn't die....or some ridiculous stuff like that. Well....even then I don't want any more. XD
 
Not really, I think it's been milked enough. There's no more characters interesting enough to create another game with, most of their stories have been told.

Unless they make an Avalanche spinoff ...
 
I kinda do want another spinoff. And before I'm shot.. here's why: I want to know whats up with Genesis and Weiss... Will there be a final (final) epic showdown? Will the team REALLY reunite? (Not like in AC where they all kinda happened to be there...) And after that, STOP. Because they left plot holes, I want them filled. I want the story to be complete and whole, then to rest in peace.
 
I would totally love to have a FF7 GRAPHICS (Note graphics, NOT story) remake. Alnd I can say that I could appreciate an anime prequel of Cloud's childhood or something like that, kind of like Clouds memoirs. Dirge of Cerberus didn't attract me that much. FFVII is Cloud's story, not Vincent's. I'm really happy that SE made the Advent Children movie, kind of tells about what happened to the characters (except for the deceased ones). If they even make a sequel to that movie it'll be amazing, but I really cannot imagine what the story could be about. Maybe about how Cloud learns how to behave, and maybe see how the cities recover. Who knows? Maybe the lovetriangle mystery will be solved...?
But I don't want any of the FFVII characters to be featured in other than FFVII stories. If I'll see him in Kingdom Hearts, I'll smash my head with that pumpkin over there.
 
No. No. No. No. No. NO. All of the spinoffs suck except for Crisis Core, and it's not like the compilation hasn't already been done to death. Focus on FFXIII, KH3, maybe even a spinoff for something other than FFX or FFVII, as long as it's good.
 
Hmm, idk i really like AC and CC, but maybe that should be it. If they make another one they are basically milking the cow dry haha. But the story is epic, and i dont want anything, to have a chance on ruining it. So they should probably just stop.
 
Nm spinoffs, just remake the damn thing!! I hate them for remaking the intro and raising our hopes only to say that a remake for the ps3 is highly unlikely due to their busyness with other titles. /sadface

I really feel the same way, especially in regards to Vincent. Maybe I'm missing something (knowing me, I probably am) but where has Vincent been before they find him in Shinra Manor? What had Aerith been doing between the times she was a little girl and when Zack found her? And between the times Zack died and Cloud found her? Eh? Eh? Maybe I'm just nosy. (Hey this is better than soap opera) Maybe this is way over the top, especially since this is a FF VII thread, but since we're on to spin-offs, why not a spin off or at least a movie of (my favorite) FF IX? Eh? Eh? Well I better quit, I guess...

i'd like to know what happens after AC, when cloud finally has confidence and realises he's 'not alone', i also agree with Sorrelstar, that they have left gaps in the storyline.

Also a remake would be nice but i'm fine with the classic game,i kinda like it like that
 
I would like to see 1 million mor spin offs, but would want them well made. I don't really care for movies but more games would be awesome. So yeah I hope they make more. Just no more DoC. Make quality rpg's because that's what the fans like.
 
i think that there should be 1 final sequel based on Genesis just to tie up all the loose ends really. but it would have to be something really spectacular, maybe like a cross between the original and crisis core in terms of gameplay, but featuring as many if not all the characters from the compilation
 
If they made a spin off, I wouldn't want a remake but rather a FFVII part two. A game showing what happens after ACC. If they remade the game then a lot of people might be disappointed. It wouldn't be as awesome as when you played it and you might be upset with how some of your favourite parts are portrayed.
 
They could make a new game about Sephiroth's side of the story, like about his childhood and growing up to fully understand who and what he really is :P in his perspective. It would be great on the psp.

Yes i second this, i would like to see much of his childhood, see what it would have been like. And i agree that it would be good for the psp, or perhaps ps3 not sure. :D
 
Now if there was another spin off of this game i would like to see it about Genesis he seems like a preety pimp character. :) or Zack and explain his story instead of seeing it from clouds point of view.
