I find the discussion of which game people played first outside of FFX/X-2 irrelevant to this topic... And yeah, FFX is definitely known for it's great story- one scene does not sum up the whole of FFX's dialogue, especially as there are so many scenes of dialogue, and all of them are better...

No. Not for me. Then again, I played FFX-2 first. I guess that makes me ever so slightly biased, but I played X-2 first and still prefer X. But in hindsight, no I don't think that it affected the way I saw either game. Although x-2 is a direct sequel of X, I don't think they affected the other...

I never even found Omega- but I never beat Yiazmat. So Omega is less hard because I never found it... Seriously though, Yiazmat is a mega-battle...it's more endurance than strength I think...at least that's what I found. I only gave up on it because I sold he game for a while and then deleted...

The Fire Cavern was a prerequisite for the SeeD exam, so he probably at least had Ifrit I'd like to think that Squall was more powerful, but from what I've seen of Seifer fighting alongside the Sorcerer and that stuff with Odin...I'd say that Seifer was pretty damn powerful himself

The thing is, I'm re-playing FFX now and I can't see anything wrong with it. All they'd do would change the graphics, which would be a major waste of time and money because the story would be exactly the same- it's absolutely fine as it is!

No, it's a chunky ps2...and I lead Zidane up the stairs and immediately the disc starts whirring and trying to load I have skipped previous scenes by opening the PS2, but I think the damage on the disc is at exactly the wrong place

I only ask because the copy of the game I'm using always freezes just as I'm going up the stairs to see Dagger sing- I've tried it five or six times and it just won't let me carry on with the game. I'm aware it's a fault in the disc but I was just curious... Thanks

I never play it over and over- I've actually sold it three times because I got bored of it...then I think, hang on, I like that game and go out to buy another copy... I say I got bored of it, but it's only for about a week...then I wish I hadn't sold it

If IX interests you more, go with IX...it's not too difficult :)
