You don't need to bother with elemental protection against him at all, although Fire protection is very nice. Don't worry about others.
Simply remember to only use your most powerful attacks. Armour Break him first, then attack him with your strongest attacks - overdrives, or physical attacks...
Customize it with, IIRC, 8 Antartic Winds. You can steal or bribe these from various ice-related enemies. Alternatively, you can get Ice Gems (in a similar way but from more powerful ones) and customize Ice Eater.
There's no such thing as ultimate armours in FFX, unlike with weapons.
That being said, to get an armour called "Dragon Lord" for Auron, you need to have Break MP Limit on it, and it must NOT have Break HP Limit or Ribbon. Hardly very "Ultimate".
There are teleporter pads in Zanarkand, which you can use to quickly get back and forwards between Zanarkand and Mt Gagazet. One of the Ronsos on Mt Gagazet will sell you Phoenix Downs. You're screwed for Holy Waters, though, although if you can get some Remedies those will cure Zombie too. (I'm...
That's not Ultima Buster, that's Sinspawn Gui. Ultima Buster is a very powerful optional boss in the monster arena.
Anyway. The very first thing you should do in the battle is have Auron use Power Break on him. After this, pay attention to his attack pattern. He uses Punch on his first two...
They work entirely differently. Attack, and for that matter, Impulse, are based on Bahamut's Strength and the enemies Defence. Mega Flare, on the other hand, is based on Bahamut's Magic, and no form of defence has any effect on it. The only thing that can reduce it is Belgemine's Ixion using his...
Sigh. >_>
The point of it isn't to make the game easier. It's so you can have fun messing around with the enemies. For example, who can honestly say they've never wanted to see Shinryu use Eraser on himself? With this code, you can make him do just that.
IMO, that kills the fun in it. Fighting them weak is much more satisfying. Heck, I've beaten them all in a No Sphere Grid game (although I had no choice but to use powerful aeons for five of them - the rest, beaten the genuine way).
Sc1: Rikku does not enter the battlefield at any time.
No.
Sc2: Rikku is on the battlefield at the start but gets replaced before taking part.
No.
Sc3: Rikku is on the battlefield at the start, hits one of the creatures, then is replaced till the end of the fight.
No.
Sc4: Rikku is on the...
Unless you're going for Nemesis, you only really need 5 of each, except for the three Iron Giant types (Iron Giant, Gemini A and Gemini B) which you need 10 of each.
It includes everything that counts as an enemy, so long as it gets turns. You name it, you can control it: Sinspawn Ammes, Qactuar, Great Malboro, Penance, Nemesis, Dark Valefor, Seymour Flux, Braska's Final Aeon, Yu Pagoda... heck, I *think* you should even be able to control Cid (in the battle...
Defend won't reduce the damage from Total Annihilation. Only Shell and Focus will. (It will, however, reduce Cross Cleave.)
To put it in a simpe way: to work out what will or won't reduce/increase an attack's damage, you need to find out which of these group(s) it falls into. Remember that just...
No, the 3rd one is the one on Mt Gagazet.
The one you mention, rather than throwing heaps of overdrives around, there's a simpler way: Trio of 9999, Blitz Ace. You win.
Get Stoneproof, or at least Stone Ward on your armour. Ditto for Confuse if you can be bothered. This is because of his counterattack every 6th time you hit him.
There's really nothing you can do but throw everything you've got at him. Don't worry about healing unless someone falls below about...

Need to convert to your device's format, unless you use Codebreaker or Swap Magic Coder.
The only side effects I've found are that you can't use Yojimbo or Magus Sisters with this code active (they will do nothing whenever you use any command other than Dismiss), and that...
And I know the question "Will this let me customize Ribbon in the American version?" is going to come up, so I'll answer it now:
No. This code does not let you customize Ribbon (or any other ability that doesn't appear in your version), unless it already exists in your version. It simply lets...
I'm not sure of the exact mechanics, but he was brought back as a real person, not an aeon again. Therefore, they'd probably have to dream him up once, but they wouldn't have to keep doing so long-term.
