Cheers for the comments, not made anything new in a week or so, will get on it though
I got sent a link to it by a friend on another forum (the sig was for him). It's a Dissidia pic that had Sephi in it too: Here it is
The smoke in the bg was meant to be shaped a bit along the lines of looking...
I love vinyl. My record collection is upwards of 100 (7"s, 10"s and LPs)
Can't really afford to buy as much as I do, but screw it.
There are a few albums that blend so much better when you hear them on vinyl.
Was googling stuff many years ago about all the GFs in VIII, ended up looking at the wiki page for Tezcatlipoca, thought Tezcat would make a good name and I've stuck with it for a few years on various sites.
Traffic jam on the way back from work yesterday meant that I could finish Are You Dave Gorman?. Started reading Death du Jour by Kathy Reichs this morning. The tv show Bones is based on her life, with the main character from the show taking the name of the heroine in her books.
I like Lyoto Machida, good fighter. Brock Lesnar's up there just for the fun of it, his "promo" at the end of 100 was brilliant. Although GSP is brilliant I'm not much of a fan.
Playing IX at the moment, on disc 2 now, just left Madain Sari. Around level 25 with most people I think. Wishing Steiner was back in my party at the moment though, with his Auto-Reflect and Bloodsword combo. It's getting a bit tedious having Eiko, Dagger and Vivi there, not doing much damage.
I like to think I'm alright in Photoshop, so, here are a few of my more recent creations:
I've not made anything in about a month but plan on making some more stuff when I get time to have another crack at photoshop, who knows, maybe I'll go with a different colour to blue =p
First is probably Coheed & Cambria in January this year. It was their Neverender tour where they performed one album per night. I only made it to one night (money issues =p) but it was the night for In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3, which is one of my alltime favourite albums. Hearing it...
Set Your Goals - This Will Be The Death Of Us
That's the last album I bought. It's their second album, doesn't quite match up to the first though. The first album, Mutiny!, had an amazing flow to it, each song blended into the next. With this they seem to have focused more on trying to make...
Catch 22 by Joseph Heller is a fantastic book. I was a bit sceptical at first over reading a war themed book but this is well worth it.
Also, in the crime genre, I'd recommend Kathy Reichs. She writes the books that lead to the creation of the tv show Bones.
I'm reading Are You Dave Gorman? by Dave Gorman and Danny Wallace.
Great read, if not a bit awkward. They both wrote for it and the text switches boldness to indicate who wrote which piece. Can be a bit confusing but it's still a good read. Both men are insanely funny which helps.
This was pretty much what I was going to type.
Also, there are some really decent smaller bands around at the moment in:
Sonic Boom Six
The King Blues
Set Your Goals
Polar Bear Club
All worth a listen
