Fan Fiction Dissidia 012 Discussion

I hope we will be able to use Tifa in Advent children attire. I generally liked her much better and the way she looked in AC. It seems they managed to make the same outfit she wears in FF VII. They did a great job at redesigning it. Since I love Tifa I am so happy she got in. But They said not new charaters from every game. I am just hoping Yuna gets in somehow.
 
I hope Yuna does as well.

Gunner Yuna would be best, because so much girl gun action would be awesome to play as! Shooting down Jecht or maybe Kuja would be fun :D
 
Yeah of course gunner Yuna over Summoner Yuna because Her moveset would work much more easier. But I imagine her ex mode would be dressphere change or something. I hope she will be able to use black magic though. I miss Yuna using black magic. So I see where this is going now. Tidus/Yuna Cloud/Tifa and hopefully next can be Zidane/Garnet or General Beatrix who I would really like to see get in. Though I would like Rinoa in... I just dont think she will work as a character. Celes like everybody is saying would be a surprise :ryan: Well I suppose I am happy with the confirmed info so far. I just hope it will get better as I am now pointing my interest at this Sequel.

I hope Celes is in it. I really don't think another thief in the game will be much fun. :(

You know what would be awesome? Them releasing every character for download! That would be so awesome! I think I would explode with happiness to see so many characters. It would please every fan, and not just a select few.

If they are smart, they'll do that....

Well, here's hoping for Celes or maybe my Eddie, or Setzer! :kelly:

No no no, 'mixing it up' as in... not mixed up. :wacky:

As in they're adding these new characters to the mix of old, it's a commentary of what's shown from the trailer, so mystery woman (who isn't very visable to us because of the glare) must be Celes.

I still think that image is Terra, but, I still hope Celes is in this. I really want to play at least 1 girl from FF6 who actually kept her original concept for battle.....

Game looks a lot like the first one from the trailer. Final Fantasy characters mixing it up. Terra, Caine, Celes, Cloud. Comes out spring 2011 in Japan.

Just download the trailer and see what you think. She's only there for maybe 2 seconds at most, but it IS clear that the supposed 'bat wings'.. are bat like wings attached to her armour. Also, it looks like she's wearing a vest like (armour) thing.. which further reinforces the idea that it's Celes.

That has to be Celes.

You can see yellow-orange-brown leather straps. Like Celes' clothes.

See now I thought that was Cosmos... but only because I wasn't really thinking about it.. but you do bring up an interesting contradiction... :hmmm:

Cosmos has spiky bangs floating on top of her head and I've seen Cosmos' in fancy graphiciesss, that has to be either Celes or Faris.

The blurry image before, was Terra transforming. The video I gave a link to (which was removed on youtube within 2 minutes) shows Terra in new clothes transforming. :)

I remember when no one knew if Terra was for sure in 1, and then I found some footage (made it lol) and snapped the image and circled the really small Terra. My blog was the first to find images of Terra in Dissidia 1 and circled them and then my images were being used. From my experience....I think its Celes, or Faris. Definitely someone new.

But I guess if her floaty spiky hair is gone ins CGI, this is Cosmos....

There serious, almost sullen expression on her convinces me that it's Celes, given her past and what not. If she sees Kefka there, it may be quite the reunion.. or confrontation. She could easily be either good or bad guy... But hey, Celes is Celes. :3

That's Terra Transforming? Well then it makes sense with the whole blue swirly lights and what not.

Yea, it has to be Celes. The eyes, the nose....Cosmos does not look like that at all.

Yea, when watching the video, you can see her clearly and then her body starts to transform. So that's Terra, and this lady must be Celes.
 
Oh dang! Well, they were scans of Kain and Lighting and some other battle stuff....

The other was a look at the system and another was a look at the summon/teamup system. Just a glimpse into it I guess :)
 
VI: I'm Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaally hoping that one dude from VI will be there. He was pretty cool from what I remember and I think he and Terra make a good team, they have that distinct dynamic that's a bit offshoot.

VII: Red XIII or Vincent. C'mon A tiger would be an awesome detour from the rest of the characters. Vincent is my default (serious) answer.

VIII: Rinoa. It'd be nice to have this game be a little more diverse what with the women roles. Not that I'm blaming SE, god bless them they're trying (or at least it seems that way). They should have just pitched dissidia like this: "It's a FF crossover, in the vein of KH" and say no more. They shouldn't have limited themselves by pitching it about the main protagonist.

XI: You know what'd be a fun feature? Customizing your own character. Soul Calibur 4 has a watered down version of customization but hey I'll take what I can get. It'd be really fun and I'd wait another year for that one feature, (so long as it didn't suck, the work has to match the time taken IMO).

XIII: If they were going to add another XIII character I'd say make it Snow or Sazh. Don't know how the fighting with Sazh would go but I just want to see Nomura draw him in that beautiful style.
 
I've not had time to read the article yet to get the reasons, but that's really a downer that we won't be getting characters from each game. It's going to be an unfair distribution now, and it'll probably mean no more extra villains as well.

If it's less than 10 new characters then I might not get it. Doesn't seem worth it, unless it is cheap.
