thats her hairclip blending in to the blue background, not a bat wing.

Also i said the pose is of her Armano artwork, the sorrowful look, the armor is more disimilar to the sprite :wacky:
 
I see what you mean about the 'bat wing'. Looks far too small to actually be attached to her though, and it just looks like it's some random blue blurriness with the background.. a light show of sorts.

What other options do we even have other than Celes? 8(
 
Other than Celes, well without holding back on possibility, it could be...

Maria from FF2? (I've not played FF2 so take that with a pinch of salt :wacky:)

Rosa from FF4?

Reina from FF5?

Celes from FF6?

For the sake of argument, Relm from FF6?

Beatrix from FF9?

Yunalesca from FF10?

Not sure on any other possibilities :monster:
 
From the hair colour the only one I can think of would be Rosa of IV, but that won't happen seeming as Kain is already confirmed... but it might be if Kain is with Chaos (which I doubt given his Ex-mode is Holy Dragoon).

Maria from II has purple, Lenna from V has pink hair so I wouldn't think it'd be them either.

The blue would make sense for Celes since the magic she gains through level-up only is of the Blizzard type.

Also, she looks like she's wearing a pendant on her neck. Can't really remember, but was it a pendant that Celes dropped at the ending of VI and got rescued by Locke? May not be of any significance, but could be...
 
Other than Celes, it could be Celes? xD

I mean of the blonde hair heroine variety... then again I'm still pretty optimistic it's Celes :3
 
Reina wore a pendant if I recall, and if i'm not mistaken Reina's amano art had her blonde, so it could be her still :hmmm: Faris' amano look had blonde hair too but she looks too feminine for her... Unless it ends up being Krile? :hmmm:
 
Other than Celes it could be Faris.

The odd blue thing behind her, though a stretch, could be part of Hydra / Syldra.

I doubt that though.... It would be AWESOME, and would be what a lot of fans want but I doubt that they'd add Hydra, even though faintly behind her to our left there does appear to be a dragon-type mouth. In reality though it is probably just a blurry picture and you could probably interpret it as anything.

I don't think that there have been any female characters with blonde hair with glowing blue wings. :wacky:

I really do hope that the glowing bit that looks like a wing is part of the head of Hydra, and that he'd appear in Faris' Ex-Burst. That wouldn't be too far fetched in my opinion. I have no idea why it would be glowing though, but that could just be bad lighting. I think the chances of it being that are very slim, but I can't honestly think of what else that wing thing is right now.

Here is something I've quickly done just to illustrate what I may be seeing:

I'm probably just seeing what I want to in what are probably rock formations to the right and left though. :D

Also, small image... The back of the head wouldn't look right anyway, and it likely isn't Hydra when I look at it like that. He'd also be a bit too small I guess. :sad2:

Also, I have no idea what that big beam of blue light is over her arm. Would that be connected to the wing-ish thing? If so, then it definitely is not Hydra.

I can't for the life of me figure out what that is, unless it is some sort of spell.

It could Faris, or Rosa.....but it doesn't look like Celes :/ Unless Celes was changed to look like Terra in Dissidia :eek:

I really hope Celes is in the game, if not Edgar. It would be awesome to play as Faris as well for an extra FF5 character.

Nah, Celes doesn't drop a pendant. Its Locke's headband she drops and he says "You went back for that thing?" or he said "ratty thing".

The only ones in FF6 who receive a pendant for story other than relics, is Terra, Relm and Shadow. :)

I'd love for it to be Celes or Faris. They're two of my fave FF characters in general.

How long does "closed theatre" footage got officially released by S-E? I can understand them wanting to give the people who paid to get into TGS priority, but we wanna know too Dx
 
Honestly, it looks like Terra to me. If you look real closely, you can see part of the cape she wears. And that ''wing'' could just about anything. (Yaay, Terra possibly maybe coming back! I <3 her!) But it could be Kain (LOL). Poor ol' Cecil was mistaken for Celes, so it's possible. XDDD

It looks like Terra to me too.

Identical to her CGI graphics, and even looks like Yuna a bit. :P

(I still hope Faris and Celes is in this though lol)

Theres a new place called Orphan's Cradle and a few new characters according to the Final Fantasy Wiki (Lightning, Kain, Tifa, and Chaos (FF I))
In a recent interview with Tetsuya Nomura it has been stated that all characters will return. In addition, three new characters have been announced: Kain, Tifa Lockhart and Lightning. It has been stated that more than just a handful of new characters will be included, but there will not be a new character from every game.

Is tha1 100% confirmed though? Orphans Cradle means that we would probably have Mr B as our Villian counterpart :hmmm: Or maybe another stage would be available also. Seriously though if it is Mr B or Orphan for the villian part then I will literally cry. Chaos FF I? playable? or not?

As for a stage called Orphan's Cradle, that's not too surprising. Most of the FFXIII places were big, huge fields. I think it would be difficult to minimize locales into a fighting area :hmmm:
