I can kind of imagine Seymour being a bit like a male Ultimecia, only with standrd black magic like Fire, Blizzard etc., plus a staff-attack like Emperor.

But they'll HAVE to include Anima as one of his attacks (Ex-burst maybe), she's too awesome to ignore/use as a simple summon stone.

So, if they're not including one from any game villain wise I don't think FFX will be having one by the looks of it. It doesn't have anyone apart from Jecht who either fits well or hasn't already been done.
 
Yeah Ex Death has warping abilities and draws his foes in, Seymour does not, even in his ultimate form in side he only real has chained magic spells, which terra also has.

No, no more Zack. He's not even the Hero of FFVII. Cloud is. But I agree, I don't think a fighter will be very fun against magic using, sword slashing, far away attacks of other characters. :mokken:

For other characters I would like Auron, Rikku, Setzer, or Sora. xD I think they'd be cool.
 
lol, I don't think Sora will ever make it into the roster - he's not from Final Fantasy :lew:

If there was a S-E cross-over game it would be....friggin' endless with possibilities X_x

I've never played the game, but watched reviews and such. I don't own a PSP, but god, love the fact they added a monk character! My favourite one at that! <3

I should really see about getting a psp.... xD

Okay! So Lightning, Kain, Tifa, and possibly Vaan: how many more characters can we expect that'll appear in the game UMD?
 
Well, the thing about Vaan is, I'm gonna consider it canon because he had another tweet where he confirmed it again, but never stated the game. And then Nomura's recent interview, and then I find out we'll get it 2-3 months tops, after Japan.

Which means they've begun voicing Dissidia for us & Vaan's actor is talking about a FF game where he'll be playing Vaan again. The evidence is pointing to Vaan right now.....we'll be careful lol


3000 can only get homebrew. Not cool. :gasp:

I have 2000 blue football one. I can't mod it seems, but its always nice to have 1000 because in my opinion and some peopel I know, 1000s are a lot stronger, faster and all that. Downside being they weight 80 pounds. lol

It probably won't be long before someone else is to be honest, although Vaan isn't official I can't see it just being coincidence him recording his Vaan parts when Dudoceim is one of the highlighted topics concerning FF at the moment.
 
No-one else has been confirmed as far as I can see. I check FF Wikia every day, and FF Wikia is usually very quick to jump on these things as people update that page nearly every day.

I hope it isn't too long before we are told who else is in it... I mean they might want to hold some characters close to their chest, and keep them there until near to the release date (like they did with Shantotto and Gabranth in Dissidia 1), but I can't see them wanting to keep the majority of the new characters a secret for that long.
 
They don't want to spoil us too much, but it's getting a bit annoying waiting on hearing who the newest one is going to be.
I don't think it'd be long before someone else is revealed. Although wouldn't it not be that hard to basically copy characters over from Dissidia? So they can focus more on the newer ones. :hmmm:
 
One of the main criticisms I've heard about S-E (and is one of the few things I actually will boo S-E about myself) is how they'll announce things right away but they won't come out in a timely manner. Maybe in a small way, S-E will be hush-hush about the characters until their release? The release date hasn't been set in stone, and maybe if they shut up about the characters available on the UMD game, it'll give people something to look forward to..?
 
Not sure if you have seen the trailer to it or not but I watched it. The character Lightning looked a lot worse to me. While it's not surprising, close-up you can see her hair is sharp instead of fluffy. It doesn't bother me, but it just looks odd after playing XIII :|.

Nope, no one new yet. We'll have something new, I don't know if it'll be a character, by next week or maybe the next. :/

I'm on a Japanese Dissidia site, and a French one. They get loads of information, so if I hear anything, I promise I'll post it right away!

It'd just be nice to hear something though instead of leaving us hanging like this. :hmmm:

It's a shame they probably can't fit as many characters as we'd wanted on to the umd, it'd be awesome if they did a PS3/360 port. XD

I wish Square would reveal something already. This wait is killing me. D;

I've been checking all kinds of gaming blogs plus the FFwiki and no luck. I hope they reveal something in the next week or so. (Please let Yuna be the next character revealed. *Crosses Fingers.*)
 
To be fair though, this only got announced at the start of this month and isn't getting released until next Spring. Let's be more patient, we haven't really waited for too long for them to announce more stuff. And if SE reveal everything this early on the game will lose it's impact and momentum by the time it get's released.

Having said that, I would like them to at least tell us what parts of the first Dissidia we can transport over, whether it's character level, item, reports or whatever. If I know I'll be able to take care of it before the release of DDFF.

As for Yuna, her Japanese voice actor is apparently taking a break from work after getting married so I doubt she'll be included; I don't think SE are prepared to take criticism from the millions of Yuna fans for changing her voice.
 
They will have more character confirmations in their Fabula Nova Crystallis conference. I think it would make sense that SE keeps quiet on anymore new additions to the roster until then. That will be in January, so it will be a bit of a wait, unless SE does decide to disclose more information earlier on publicly or if a bunch of leaks come out.
