*Eureka Academy*

Joey woke with a sharp pain in his back the next morning. He slowly climbed out of bed and tried to stand up fully, but the pain was just unbearable. He thought about what he did yesterday and decided that it must have been from wrestling with Steve.

"Damn. He really did a number on my back, I guess. I don't know how much I'm gonna be able to do today, if I can do anything at all."

He decided to take his chances with the day and see what happens, so he headed out of the room and towards the cafeteria. He was hoping that nobody would stop him and strike up a conversation, since he wanted to get somewhere more comfortable. He thought about getting in line for food, but didn't know how long the line was gonna be, and decided against it.

"Oh man, today is gonna suck big time." Joey said as he leaned against a wall.

Stella had managed to fight her way down to the boiler rooms. She saw Orion beatring her there. "No worries I'll stop them. Just get the other two out of here." he shouted as more Diaga students appeared.

Stella saw him reveal the bombs he had with him that hse stated he stole. "No! You can't!" Stella panicked as she took down another student with her rod.

"Just GO! I'll be fine." said Orion.

Stella ran back the way she had come and after minutes of dodging, slashing and kicking she found Zee and Eliane. She destroyed a nearby window just big enough for the three of them to jump through into the blue ocean. "We have to go now! This place is gonna blow!" She shouted to her fellow StuCo members. "Orion will meet us later at the school! Follow me and jump into the sphere!"

Channeling the power of the ocean stella harnessed the wind again to create a sphere of which The three girls could travel in back to the Academy. They would have to hurry back fast if they were going to survive the explosion.

---------------------------------------------------Meanwhile---------------------

Orion stood near the boiler tanks with the bombs set in place. He was going to blow this ship sky high. Helooked back at the door. There was so much he had wanted to accomplish in life, so much he wanted to explore. He would never get to love her: the girl her has teased and botherd out of petty crushes. But now He was going to end it here. Better destroy the ship and evidence than to have a whole academy attacked with student lives on the line right? Orion sat sweating, his thumb on the trigger. He was giving time for the others to evacuate the premises. He wanted her to get away safe.

Orion stared at his thumb. If he were to push the button now it would all be over... He wondered if death would hurt? Nah it wouldn't. He hoped it wouldn't. He would be at the source of the explosion. Orion stood once more and leaned against a lead tub facing outward from the wall. His sweat weighing down his clothes. He was Student Council which meant he would have to do this for his school. And with all his might he closed his eyes and pushed...

Day 3: Evening
_______________________________
Athena was eating dinner again. Again, no one had joined her. So she had returned to her room and requested dinner be brought there. Not that she would dwell on the lack of socializing. She simply praised herself on a job well done and returned to her dinner. It would be back to the field again tomorrow, so she had to enjoy what little time she had remaining of her relaxation before she was back out to fight the good fight for Eureka's sake

Day 2: Evening
_______________________________________________________
Alan wasn't sure what to make of this charismatic newcomer who was guiding him so confidently to another place. The table he was eating at. Well, this was an unexpected development. Things were moving almost too fast for Alan's tired mind and body to keep track of. He sat carefully and started to eat his dinner, not quite sure of what to say to Cathal.

Crimson Wolf
Arrival at the Great Hall

After a brief period of time, Crimson decided to get over to the Great Hall and wait there, as there will be a mission he will be going off on this morning, and he didn't want to arrive late at where the participants would gather to head out on this mission.

He wasn't sure who else would be taking part in this mission, but he was ready to be working with any sorts during this, to get this task accomplished, the mission completed.

Heading out of his dorm he walked throughout the Eureka Academy to get to the Great Hall, where he would proceed to assume a position of having his arms crossed, and leaning his back against the wall, to wait patiently for others to come, and to see who they would be going out on the mission.

His head was tilted in a slightly downward direction, towards the slick floor. A certain thought had then entered his mind, then he spoke aloud for just a moment, "Every student is here for something...wonder what Amane is here for, she seems very innocent to be a fighter of any kind..." he said, with a curious expression on his face.

OOC: Vikki, you can feel free to have so that the timing of this is actually just as Amane is arriving there, then Crimson Wolf has an embarrassed moment as he would inevitably soon know that Amane herself would have heard what he said. :P But suit yourself, just have fun with it. ^_^

Sophia
A new day.

Slowly beginning to wake up, Sophia didn't rush out of bed, but rather stayed lying down, awake, long enough to be a bit more awake to get up and about for a new day at the Eureka Academy, day three.

She thought about that Amane friend her brother Crimson Wolf had mentioned to her, and hoped the two of them were doing okay, whether they be, as she figured most likely apart at this time, or in one place.

OOC: Sorry for the junk post for Sophia, it just begins her day and clarifies what is on her mind at this time, and I had to post something for her now...

OOC: Hey, oliver, im going to start Maya's mission. I requested an announcement for Veerle to meet at the cafeteria. Can you make it or do you want me to just find her? I cant post for Maya until i get an answer. Its morning around 8-10 ish right?

@ Krauvando: Hey, im going to start the Pixie mission. Are you alright to start now? Or are you having a D&M with Gavin's character? Should i wait until you are finished or do i interrupt? Ill go for Alan first.

@ Mitsuru: O.O Evening? Its day three morning isnt it?

Escaflowne

"Zee, you wanna switch places?"

Escaflowne was tempted. On one side, her opponent had some form of trick she had yet to pick up. Maybe Eliane would fair better? But on the other side, she loved the challenge and felt determined to figure it out.

Nah. I think i should be fine.

The enemies weapon definitely was the issue. It had seemingly expanded in front of her eyes from the middle of nowhere, but she was definite that was not possible. Daiga students are just fighters with no powers. That left it as only an illusion.

Tch... damn. Then i wont let him even attack then.

Escaflowne lunged with a thrust to the chest. Incidently, so did her opponent. Both blades ran parallel to each other and Escaflowne spotted something. She abandoned her thrust, twisting sideways and swinging her katana upwards, parrying his strike before stepping back. Escaflowne could not believe her eyes, quite literally. The attack just then has smoked out the problem. A rather evil smile twisted in her mouth. Readying her blade again, she slowly began to make her way forward

HA! Whatcha doin'? Im gonnna skeeeeeeweeeeeeer ya?

He launched a series of thrusts at Escaflowne, only to have the mercilessly battered down. His trick was not working. Panicked, his attacks became sloppier and sloppier before Escflowne caught one of his pathetic thrust.

A one trick pony i see...

With a mighty swing, Touhou sliced a mighty gash across the boy's chest as Escaflowne released the trapped sword, watching the boy's wide eyed face at his inevitable death. As blood poured out from the body, Escaflowne bent down low.

Nice try, but no cigar.

He flailed feebly as the strength went out of his body and just as Escaflowne was about to kill him mercifully, Stella came bolting out.

"We have to go now! This place is gonna blow!Orion will meet us later at the school! Follow me and jump into the sphere!"

F@ck!

There was no time to even give the boy an easy death. Escaflowne ran and dove towards Stella, quickly sheathing the long sword and entered the sphere. She felt a slight vertigo before a second later, dropped onto somewhere on Eureka.

Damn it! What the hell?! What the bloody hell happened?

Escaflowne was absolutely confused as hell and a bit shocked in finding our Orion had stayed behind at the last second. She, plus Eliane could have kept going. Something big must have happened. Otherwise they would not have evacuated.

Delijah

Sweat dripped from Delijah as she dropped the weighted bar. She had been going at it for three hours since six o'clock. A good work out for the day, especially with a mission coming up. It seemed to be relatively easy, but one may never know. Delijah headed towards the shower room, quickly washing off any grime and sweat before changing into her normal clothes. Fresh again, it was time to go to work. First off, she had to hunt down her members. Naturally, she had done proper preparation and had the photos of each student downloaded onto her phone, making searching easier.

Hm....Eluniel and Alan.......

Both are Blue Sect students, which meant it was going to be harder for her to track down. Still, going by reasoning, being new students on their third day, they shouldnt have wandered too far from the main areas. First off, the cafeteria and then the gardens. She had never gone to less combat orientated missions before and Delijah was a bit giddy about this mission.

(Sorry Tipsy! I sent a PM but I'll put it in an actual post this time and in the message board! +3 rank for Delijah workout. +3 for Crimson Alertness post. So many students can leave the campus freely now :hmmm:)

Professor Krell drumed on his notebook with his bony fingers. Stella and Orion had not returned from their missions yesterday. Suddenly he felt a sharp pang in his chest. He clutched his blue robes and leaned on the oak desk in his office. The pain slowly went away. Krell could feel it: Something had gone wrong. He glared out of his window out at the blue ocean surrounding Eureka Academy. He could only hope that his student had not failed in their task.

Ignoring hsis sudden pain he had begun to do the announcements.

MAYA AND VEERLE ARE TO MEET IN THE CAFETERIA THIS MORNING FOR THEIR JOINT MISSION. EVERYONE ELSE GOING ON MISSIONS TODAY SHOULD REPORT TO THE GREAT HALL AND WAIT OR HUNT DOWN YOUR TEAM MATES. TIP: REMEMBER IF A MEMBER MAKES YOU WAIT TOO LONG, GO ON WITHOUT THEM. REMEMBER, IT'S YOUR RANK ON THE LINE. THAT IS ALL.

Stepping away from the Mic, Krell spotted what he saw was something large and black poke out from the ocean, but as he blinked, the creature had vanished. Could it be that there really was a monster in the ocean near Eureka?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A dim light flickers in a partially lit room as a group of government officials sit at an oval desk. There are five chairs and five officials sitting in them, a folder with the words “Eradication Project” scribbled across them. A voice in the room from the president booms from a speaker sitting in the middle of the table. “I still fail to see what a threat Eureka possesses to the rest of us.” The president spoke. “What have they really done that’s wrong?”

A man wearing an eyepatch sitting in a chair on the far left strokes his bush moustache. This man was Seifried, the Headmaster of Diaga Academy: a school for various styles of fighting such as martial arts. He wanted Eureka out of the way so that he himself would be the leader of the finest combat institutions. “Well you see President Green, their school has what we at Diaga would call a ‘ticking time bomb’. Their use of magical arts and reckless training will put most of us in the world at danger.” The headmaster responded.

“They are on a secluded island. Besides these are the young people of our generation.” We cant just attack them so mercilessly. I’m calling this attack off.” President Green spoke as the speaker went dead.

“He iz ze most stubborn man I have ever met.” A female said sitting at the far right of the desk. She was General Arukrave, head of the government’s military division.

“We vill continue ze plan anyway.” She stood as she slammed her fist down on the table. “Zis school is a menace to our society. For all we know Zey could be raising an army of minions in zere. You see how ze last nine caught convicted criminals have come from zis rat breeding institution.”

“Yes but we can’t act on unofficial orders.” The man sitting at the front of the table spoke. “We don’t have any evidence Eureka is raising this ‘army’ you claim they are doing.”

This was the president’s representative for the meeting. He was keen on the words. These people were talking about attacking innocent kids. He would not want that happening, at all. “Besides what’s the difference between Eureka and Diaga anyway?”

“You hush about Diaga!” Seifried snapped. “We don’t practice magic like those scoundrels. “Have you forgotten what magic has done to this world in the past? Brutal wars everywhere you turned. The president may be against this mode of action, but I for one am all for it.”

“How.” The man at the back of the desk began to speak. He was silent and his occupation was unknown by the others. All they knew was that his name was Zao, and that he worked for the government. “How are we going to justify killing and attacking innocent kids.”

“That’s easy,” said Seifried. “We lie…”
“But you ca-”

Before the president’s representative was able to respond he was shot in the heart with Arukrave’s pistol. “Go on…” she said.

Nah. I think i should be fine.

"All right, suit yourself." Eliane said, focusing on her current target, who launched a jumping kick towards her face. Eliane did a split, which caused the Diaga monk to come to his feet and quick;y try to punch down at her, Eliane quickly did a backflip, and got herself on her feet.

"This guy is fast."

Eliane saw the monk launch two quick jabs followed by a cross. Eliane swerved side to side to dodge the jabs followed by a block with her elbow, then a counter with an elbow to the Diaga monk's face, causing him to swagger back. He now sported a bloody nose.

"But it looks like I can keep up."

The enemy was starting to lose his cool. "Damn you woman, why won't you die." He charged towards her, trying to launch a powerful haymaker. Eliane ducked, then launched a sweeping kick which tripped him up. Before he hit the ground, Eliane quickly hit the ground and kicked the monk right in the spine, the attack was powerful enough that it paralyzed him outright.

"We have to go now! This place is gonna blow!Orion will meet us later at the school! Follow me and jump into the sphere!"

"What the, Son of a.." Eliane cursed, then left the paralyzed monk to his fate, running at high speed, following both Stella and Escaflowne and diving right into the sphere Stella created.

Moments later, the StuCo member landed, or rolled back to her feet, at the Academy.

Damn it! What the hell?! What the bloody hell happened?

"I'm with Zee on this one, I want to know what is going on."

Cathal Shinja
Turning In and Up

DAY TWO WRAP -UP

Seating himself, Cathal gave the boy a wide grin. Picking at the sandwich he had hastily bought from the counter, Cathal's eyes twinkled. By sheer luck, he had picked out his favourite; cheese and ham. Taking a bite from the sandwich, he glanced around to make sure none were listening in.

"Sorry. I must come across like a right creeper," he said by way of apology. "Not my intention. Time is short, blah blah." He beamed again. "I have a mission tomorrow. but anyway. I like you."

Cathal wasn't one to mince words.

"What do you say we meet up after missions are over and talk more?" Cathal rose, took a piece of paper and a pencil from his pocket and scrawled his dorm details across it. "Just drop by whenever you wish!" he placed the slip of paper next to Alan's hand before grabbing his sandwich.

"I hate to run, but I have to prepare," he rested a hand on the other boys head and ruffled his hair slightly. "I promise I won't clamber all over you next time," giving the boy a cheeky wink, Cathal carefully spread his wings, "unless you want me too, of course."

Cathal left the Cafeteria and headed to his dorm, sandwich in hand.

----------------

DAY THREE MORNING

Cathal wandered into the hall, his eyes still half closed. Man was he tired.

Rubbing his eyes, Cathal wandered over to where he assumed the group for his mission would be gathered.

"Yoh!" he said to no-one in particular. "I'm here... just."

Kutisaka Amane
Who Let the Cat out of the Bag?

DAY THREE MORNING

The sleek, black panther stride proudly along the halls of the school, her destination the Great Hall where she would find out who her partners were for her coming mission. A few students seemed alarmed at the giant cat wandering the corridors, whereas others didn't even bat an eyelash. Stranger things happened within the walls of the Academy, after all.

As she entered the Great Hall, a sudden wave of excitement hit her and she bounded around for a moment, batting her tail, oblivious to the curious looks she recieved for such behaviour. She was going on her first mission! She was allowed to get fired up.

"Every student is here for something...wonder what Amane is here for, she seems very innocent to be a fighter of any kind..."

Amane stopped mid bound, her head tilting as her eyes landed upon Crimson Wolf. Her, innocent? She almost snorted before realizing how bizarre a sound that would have been coming from a giant, wild feline.

Instead, she opted for subtly. Striding over to Crimson Wolf, coming in from behind, she nudged at the back of his leg and purred. Would he recognize her for what she was?

Veerle Shinja
An Unexpected Room Visit

DAY TWO WRAP-UP

Veerle said nothing. Only smiled at Raistlin. He was right. She would much rather the likes of Blade did not follow them. After all, they were both adults whereas Blade came across as immature and... well, she hated him if she was honest.

"Fine with me," she said with a small smile, instinctively tugging at the glove of her right hand. "Though I'd have knocked him out if he'd tried to follow."

Flicking her long hair over her shoulder, Veerle spoke again. "So what's the plan, C'pn?"

If they were meant to be eating, why were they in his room? Veerle was slightly curious, she had to admit. Though, Raistlin probably had a plan. He always did. It was what made him such a great leader, after all. She let out a little sigh.

"He might think to drop by here though..." she pondered. "Let me hit him if he does..."

Oh how she wished she could just punch Blade in his face, maybe break his nose or shatter his jaw. The thought almost made her giggle. She held it back, slightly embarrassed at the urge to do something remarkably feminine.

Tilting her head slightly, Veerle looked at their leader. What WAS the plan?

(sorry for the shittiness ._. Veerle and Raist are just going to tie up Day 2 as we have a plan for them and then she'll move onto Day 3 too)

Fine with me. Though I'd have knocked him out if he tried to follow,” Veerle said to him. In all reality, Raistlin would have loved to have seen it. Just for the shits and giggles. “I must admit, I really would have loved to have seen that go down. However, at the moment, I can't have two DC members going at it. I would look terrible.” In all reality, it really would have been rather bad. People would get the feeling that the DC was disorganized and his leadership would be put into question. Raistlin wouldn't like that.

So what's the plan, C'pn?” Veerle asked as Raistlin walked over to the fridge in his room. “Well, seeing as how the cafeteria is out of the question at the moment, I've got food here. I'll cook something up,” said Raistlin as he pulled out a bottle of champagne and two glasses out of the freezer. Placing them on the table in front of Veerle then walked back to the freezer and took out some stakes, getting them ready to cut and cook.

“You see, in the DC we need more members like yourself that are willing to punish, and report people for breaking the rules. While I'm not much of a rat myself, I rather enjoy the punishment part of the disciplinary process. And it's very fucking hard to get things done when you have a completely useless twat like Blade around,” Raistlin ranted as he cut the steaks and seasoned them. “Now, not only is he useless, he's annoying. Two traits right off the bat that I hate.”

Raistlin took a pan out of the cupboard, and placed it on the stove. “The only thing he's done is send me a text message asking for the DC to meet. However, it's late, and we're all busy. Plus, I can only imagine it would be about something we all know anyway. He personifies Captain Obvious perfectly.” Placing the steaks in the pan, he turned the stove on, and started to cook them to medium rare.

“So, tomorrow, before missions start I'm sending out the DC wide text message that Blade is hereby expelled from the DC for inactivity, and just being plain useless. If wanted stupidity and uselessness in my DC, I would hire Orion. I think I'd rather shoot myself.”

It would take too long to cook the stakes at this rate. Using fire from the palm of his hand, he cooked them perfectly and placed them on two separate plates, walked over to the table, and placed them in front of her, and pulled up a chair for him to sit in.

“So, consider this a type of... Celebration if you will. A celebration to the removal of Blade, and maybe one day, the death of Orion. Who knows, maybe later, something exciting will actually happen around here. As for now, who knows where this will go?”

Opening the champagne bottle, and filling the glasses full, he smiled. Placing the bottle to the side, and placing a knife and a fork on her plate, as well as his, he lifted up his glass in a toast.

“To a much needed change,” he said, with a rather charming smile on his face.

Something to Celebrate

DAY TWO WRAPUP

“You see, in the DC we need more members like yourself that are willing to punish, and report people for breaking the rules. While I'm not much of a rat myself, I rather enjoy the punishment part of the disciplinary process. And it's very fucking hard to get things done when you have a completely useless twat like Blade around. Now, not only is he useless, he's annoying. Two traits right off the bat that I hate.”

Veerle felt a warm glow of pride at these words. After all, her reputation depended solely upon her love of bringing down the pain on those who did not follow the rules. She was a bit of a sadist in that manner. And Blade was one of the people she would have just loooooved to bring the smack down on.

"The only thing he's done is send me a text message asking for the DC to meet. However, it's late, and we're all busy. Plus, I can only imagine it would be about something we all know anyway. He personifies Captain Obvious perfectly.”

She laughed softly. This was true. If you ever needed something saying more than once... well, Blade was probably the perfect guy for the job.

“So, tomorrow, before missions start I'm sending out the DC wide text message that Blade is hereby expelled from the DC for inactivity, and just being plain useless. If wanted stupidity and uselessness in my DC, I would hire Orion. I think I'd rather shoot myself.”

A little surge of pure, raw exultation ran through Veerle then. Blade... expelled from the DisCom? Veerle felt like she was dreaming. Although she would have much rather have seen his body beaten and battered, preferably by her own hands, admittedly... this was the next best thing.

“So, consider this a type of... Celebration if you will. A celebration to the removal of Blade, and maybe one day, the death of Orion. Who knows, maybe later, something exciting will actually happen around here. As for now, who knows where this will go?”

A celebration? Now it made sense. After all, they couldn't exactly celebrate such a thing in the Cafeteria. It wouldn't have seemed professional... and both Raistlin and Veerle would not have their reputations tarnished by something such as unprofessionalism.

“To a much needed change."

Veerle mimicked his action and beamed.

"Sweeter words have never been spoken," her eyes sparkled as she took a sip from her glass. She felt extremely happy at that point. Not usually an emotion she would admit to feeling.. but she couldn't deny that Raistlin's words had struck joy at her very center.

Blade... Expelled from the DisCom. It would be one hell of a dent in his reputation... if he actually had one. It was something that tickled Veerle immensely and for once, she allowed the giggle that pushed at her throat to tumble from her lips unrestrained.

"He's going to hate you..." she said, composing herself and covering her mouth to stifle any further giggles. "But this means I can teach him a lesson .... or ten if he misbehaves... right?"

Tucking into the meal Raistlin had prepared just moments before, she gave him a sly look. "I didn't know you could cook..."

Sweeter words have never been spoken.” Upon saying that, Raistlin felt something he hadn't felt before. Perhaps a feeling of attachment? No, it couldn't be. Emotional ties were bad things. Though... He didn't see why he couldn't just let this slide. Shaking his head aside, he cut a piece of steak, and ate it. Cooked to perfection, as always. He was quite proud of himself.

He's going to hate you... But this means I can teach him a lesson... or ten if he misbehaves... right?” Veerle asked. Obligated to answer with the up most euphoric state at the mere thought of these words, Raistlin replied, “Without a shadow of a doubt. One step out of line, even so much as throwing bubble gum on the ground, you can grind his bones into dust. Anything you wish. As long as he isn't dead, it's all good and well. Just make him wish he was.” Raistlin smiled, he enjoyed the way that sounded as it rolled off his tounge.

“I didn't know you could cook...” Not many people did. He rarely cooked for anyone besides himself. Taking a sip of champagne, he went into detail. “There's a lot people don't know about me. But yes, I cook often. I learned at home. The head chef is a master cook, and I had known him since birth. Whenever I wasn't training, which wasn't often, I was just watching him cook. Eventually, from years of watching, I picked up just about everything he knew. I doubt I could ever beet him in a cooking contest though,” Raistlin laughed.

“So, how about yourself? Any special, or hidden talents you want to share with the rest of the class?” Raistlin asked, with a smile on his face. It wasn't often that he was happy, and even less when he smiled. But in the case, he didn't care. It somewhat felt right.

Permission and Revelations

“Without a shadow of a doubt. One step out of line, even so much as throwing bubble gum on the ground, you can grind his bones into dust. Anything you wish. As long as he isn't dead, it's all good and well. Just make him wish he was.”

Veerle closed her eyes and sighed, contented. She would make him wish he was alright. Veerle was perfectly aware of how much punishment a body could take before succumbing to unconsciousness and death. She would take him to that brink... and back again.

"There's a lot people don't know about me. But yes, I cook often. I learned at home. The head chef is a master cook, and I had known him since birth. Whenever I wasn't training, which wasn't often, I was just watching him cook. Eventually, from years of watching, I picked up just about everything he knew. I doubt I could ever beet him in a cooking contest though.”

It was strangely pleasant, holding this conversation with the Leader of the DisCom. Veerle was not usually one to idly sit and listen to others talk or to open up about herself... not to anyone. Yet, sitting here, celebrating with Raistlin, Veerle could not help but admit that she was enjoying herself. Though... if he told anyone how much of a kitten she turned into when in private, she would have to take steps to silence the damn mage, superior or not.

“So, how about yourself? Any special, or hidden talents you want to share with the rest of the class?”

Veerle laughed nervously. There was a lot people didn't know about her, either. After all, she protected her privacy... violently.

"Well... I'm an artist," she admitted, nervously. In her dorm room, hidden in a compartment under her bed, one would find her various sketchbooks and drawing materials. It was something she usually kept entirely to herself for when she drew, it was like entering her own little world where reality had no meaning. "I like to draw..." she gave him a sheepish little smile.

"Not really the sort of thing people expect someone like me to be capable of..." she continued, stabbing aggressively at a piece of meat, "but what do they know?"

She sat, silent for a moment as she chewed. Veerle was certain Raistlin was not the sort to go around spreading personal details, so it didn't feel wrong to admit her hidden passion to him.

"I have other talents... though they're far more hidden." Her lips quirked into a little smirk. "Maybe one day you'll find out about them."

Well... I'm an artist, I like to draw...” Veerle said, rather sheepishly, as she smiled at him. How would have thought it? Sadly, far too many wouldn't think of her as an artist, or Raistlin as a cook.

Not really the sort of thing people expect someone like me to be capable of... but what do they know?
What do they know indeed? Then again, as Raistlin thought about it, it's not like their opinion mattered much anyway. As far as he was concerned, most people were worthless anyway. It was rare to meet someone like Veerle. At this point, Raistlin could confirm being attached. Though, for some reason, despite being taught otherwise, he didn't think it was a bad thing.

I have other talents... though they're far more hidden.” She said, with a quirk smirk. “Maybe one day you'll find out about them.

Raistlin smiled as he poured himself another glass of Champagne, he was tearing through it rather quickly. Even more so than the steak. With the same smile on his face, he replied, “I'm sure your a very terrific artist. I would bet money on that. As far as other talents... I would love to find out about them one day.” He lifted up the bottle of champagne, “would you like more?”

“I'm sure your a very terrific artist. I would bet money on that. As far as other talents... I would love to find out about them one day.”

She felt her cheeks flush slightly. Either it was the champagne... or she was blushing. Either way, her cheeks were a rosy pink and warm. She averted her eyes for a moment, waiting for this strange feeling to dissipate before looking back at Raistlin.

“Would you like more?”

She chewed her lower lip in thought.

"Why not. We ARE celebrating, after all," she finally said with a little flick of her head, brushing her fringe out of her eyes.

"Maybe I'll show you my sketchbooks... one day," she said softly, feeling more and more at ease as the moments ticked by. Again, she wasn't sure if this was the alcohol's fault or something else. But what did it matter?

She leant back slightly, eyes on Raistlin's face. She'd never realized before just how handsome a young man he was. After all, she had little interest in people as a whole.

"You know... I'm surprised there's not a fanclub named after you, filled with rabid little fangirls... and possibly boys."

Raistlin was a known name, naturally. A good looking man and with a reputation to fit it.

At least... she'd never heard of a Raistlin fanclub.

"Maybe I should start one..." she suggested with a cheeky little smile.

Why not. We ARE celebrating, after all.” And with that, Raistlin filled her glass full, then sipped more from his glass. “Maybe I'll show you my sketchbooks... one day.” Raistlin would like that. He wondered what type of things she drew. It would be rather interesting.

You know... I'm surprised there's not a fanclub named after you, filled with rabid little fangirls... and possibly boys.” A fanclub? For him? That would be odd. Yet deserving, Raistlin always liked the concept of having statues built in his honor, why not a fanclub?

Maybe I should start one...” She smiled at him. Drinking more champagne, Raistlin said, “Maybe you should. It would give me even more of an excuse to see you.”

Raistlin's eyes grew in horror. He didn't just say that... Did he? Was that out loud? Did she just hear what he said? Raistlin didn't panic often, and when he did he could always keep it under wraps. However, this would be worse than the times he almost died. This was embarrassing, he was panicked, though hiding it to the best of his abilities, he didn't know what to do.

“Maybe you should. It would give me even more of an excuse to see you.”

Veerle's eyebrow quirked slightly. An amused little glimmer danced behind her eyes at the expression that passed fleetingly across his face. Either he hadn't intended for her to hear that or he had, and was now more than a little shook up by it.

Giving him just a moment to adjust to the situation, Veerle watched his face carefully. It wasn't very often that something commanded the complete and utter attention of Veerle, but Raistlin had managed it. She smiled softly.

"You don't need an excuse to see me," she giggled almost shyly. "Just say the word!"

She edged round to him. "There seems to be an almost palpable tension in the air..." she whispered gently, leaning forwards and brushing her lips lightly against his. "There. Better?"

(Cue cheesy music? XD)

((OOC: Okay, I think I’ll just separate from your character first, Gavin.))

Hearing the announcement over the microphone, Eluniel got up with a start. “I’m sorry, Taron, but I must report for my mission,” She said hurriedly, having cleanly forgotten about the missions enjoying the peace of the garden. She waved Taron goodbye as she smiled a sheepish smile. The girl then turned away to re-enter the main buildings of Eureka.

The words ‘hunt down your teammates’ made Eluniel tenser as she stepped into the Great Hall. Yet unlike yesterday, when she first came into the school, she was significantly calmer as the cacophony from the students greeted her. Probably responding to the Headmaster’s announcement, there were several groups of students hustled around looking into slips of papers. Not bothering to stare at them, Eluniel proceeded to the same corner where she had stood.

Slipping her hands into her item bag, she produced a neatly folded piece of paper, which contained the details of the mission which she signed up for. She stopped over several names as she read through it.

“Alan, Blade and Delijah,” She mumbled.

Looking up, she glanced over to the students around intending to look for her teammates. As she looked, she couldn’t help noticing a humanoid wolf-like figure and a smaller sized cat girl. It was her first time seeing other intelligent life forms other than humans, and while it intrigued her, she continued gazing around. Habitually, she drew her hood over her head as she leaned back against the wall, quietly looking out from the shadows her hood created over her face.

You don't need an excuse to see me,” she giggled. “Just say the word!” Raistlin was very glad to hear that, but still massively embarrassed.

She moved around the table and got closer to Raistlin. “There seems to be an almost palpable tension in the air...” She whispered, closely in his ear. She leaned forward, and kissed Raistlin and withdrew. “There. Better?

For the longest time, Raistlin sat wide eyed, confused, and... Happy. Not something he was used to in the slightest. He wanted to say something, yet couldn't. For the first time in his life, he was happy, and it wasn't because of something he did, but someone someone else did. After what seemed like an eternity, he smiled, drank more champagne, and said, “you have no idea.” As he leaned in closer to her, to return the favor.

Veerle Shinja
Morning After

DAY THREE: MORNING

Veerle's eyes flickered open...

... onto a room that was not her own.

Rolling over carefully, Veerle found herself face to face with a sleeping Raistlin. Blushing furiously, she almost fell from the bed. Had they?..

Glancing over to the floor beside the bed, her question was confirmed.

Slipping carefully from Raistlin's bed, Veerle got dressed before turning and looking at her bed partner. A small smile graced her face as she bent over and lightly kissed Raistlin's brow.

She hoped he would forgive her for leaving so early. After all, she had a mission today. Moving to the door, she decided against just leaving with no word.

Wandering back over to the bed, she whispered into his ear.

"I'll see you later... hopefully."

Leaving the room, carefully closing the door behind her, Veerle hurried to her own dorm. Running a brush through her long hair, Veerle glanced in the mirror to find her cheeks still flushed. Scolding herself, she grabbed her halberd and went on her way to the Great Hall.

Resting the bladed polearm against her shoulder, she announced her own arrival into the Hall.

"Veerle Shinja... reporting for duty."

(Crappy but XD. Was fun Ringo ;D)

Delijah

Delijah heard the headmaster over the loudspeakers. It simplified matters a great deal. She no longer had to search for her companions, but merely just strut up to the Great Hall and search out for them. It shouldnt be too hard. She strutted about in confidence and as if a person with a purpose. It suited to promote and reinforce her fragile "hard boiled" persona. It also helped when she disciplined a few stragglers inside the Great Hall. Against the wall were several Blue Sect students, chain smoking, littering and destroying school property, that being, belting the metal trash can and denting it. As small of a rule infringement as it was, she needed to set an example. With her polearms and all, Delijah walked up to the boys. She was a good deal shorter then them, but that did not stop her.

Ahem! Boys. What are you doing? What you are doing is against school rules.

Of course, they turned and being new Blue Sects, paused for a second before bursting into laughter.

Ahahahaha! And? Whatcha gonna do, brat? Why dont ya go home and suck on ya momma titties eh?

So you will not cease and desist? I warn you, i am part of the Disciplinary Committee. Will you stop?

Serious? Ha. If you're in the DisCo the school must be really weak then? Why dont we just take over the school then?

I assume that is a no then. Right.

No mercy. Delijah whipped Yatagarasu around from behind, cracking the foremost boy straight in the temple, dropping him to the ground, moaning. Next, her left eye erupted the blue flame, although it was puny, as she hurled Kamaitachi at the second boy, pinning his shirt to the wall before thrusting her hand straight into the lead boys throat and squeezing ever so slightly. He stuttered as he feebly tried to claw at her hand.

Consider this a warning. When the DisCo say something, you listen. So i say again, will you cease and desist?

URGH! Wh...what the hell.... you can do this...

Do. You. Cease. And. Desist?

ARGH! OKay!

Delijah released her grip and yanked her weapon from the wall. With contempt, she stared down at the three wimpering boys, who were most definitely around 18.

For God sakes, clean up this area and get the hell out of here.

She watched as the boys scampered away and with that dealt with, Delijah returned to looking For her teammates. On the far wall was a rather tall looking girl with blue hair and her face shadowed with her hood. It fitted Delijah's photo to a T. Delijah made her way towards the girl. At her height, she was able to look under her hood.

Eluniel? I am Delijah Fei. I do believe we are on the same mission no?

Maya

With the announcement, Maya quickly scooted towards the Great Hall, guitar on her back. Students were beginning to file out and such, but it was still relatively clear. Even for someone new, it didnt take her long to burst into the Hall. Many other groups were gathering for their mission, plus a small girl beating up a group of three boys. She was worried, but from her hand book, she remembered that there were disciplinary members. The boys seemed like punks, so maybe they were being disciplined. Whatever it was, Maya heard a booming voice in the Hall.

"Veerle Shinja... reporting for duty."

Veerle. That was her team member. Turning to the voice quickly, Maya scuttled over. The first impression she had for Veerle was that she was imposing. Very strong feeling, almost like the delinquents from those mangas she read. Her carrying a pole arm like the other short girl also confused Maya. In any case, she had better introduce herself.

Ah! Ohayo gozaimasu. Good morning. My name is Maya Kamiya. Please to make your aquaintance. I will be your uh... team member for the mission for finding the missing children. Please look after me.

Maya ended her introduction with a traditional japanese bow, a sign of manners to new people they meet and for people they will be depending on. She shyly and cautiously looked up. She had no idea how Veerle would react or act to her.
