*Eureka Academy*

Raistlin awoke to find Veerle gone. No doubt to her mission. He was going to have to get up and get to his mission as well. However, he was curious about something. He glanced over the bed to find the answer to his question; they had. He was going to have to make sure no one know of this, but he couldn't really see who all would know. He got up, walked to his restroom, and started up his shower. He wondered if she saw the burn scars on his body, or if she even cared.

She was beautiful, without a doubt, and he was lucky, by all means to share something like that with her. He hoped that they would get to spend more time together soon.

The steam of the shower hit him, and he got into the shower. Washing his hair first, then everything else, he got out. Drying himself off, he thought of what had happened. And strangely, he was still happy. He was going to have to hide this from everyone or else they would think he had either lost his mind, or he had lost his touch and gone soft.

Raistlin wouldn't have that.

Back to his dormroom, he got dressed in his standard black robes, and he actually didn't tie his hair back, he just let it flow. Something he rarely did. He made sure to lock his doors before he went out on patrol around the school, and quite possibly went exploring. He wondered what he would find today...

Still periodically looking around for her teammates, despite her not knowing how they even looked, Eluniel’s attention was drawn when a group of Blue Sect students burst into laughter. Beneath her hood, Eluniel felt herself raising an eyebrow as she turned to look over to the group. They were talking right down to a rather short girl who seemed almost like Maya, fair-skinned in an oriental way.

Ahahahaha! And? Whatcha gonna do, brat? Why dont ya go home and suck on ya momma titties eh?

So you will not cease and desist? I warn you, i am part of the Disciplinary Committee. Will you stop?

Serious? Ha. If you're in the DisCo the school must be really weak then? Why dont we just take over the school then?

I assume that is a no then. Right.

Eluniel then watched, to her horror, as the girl whipped out her weapon, and knocked out one of the unfortunate boys. The blow saw him crumbling and with him out, the girl went on to focus on the remaining boys. In one swift motion, a halberd-like weapon left her arms to effectively pin a boy by his shirt. The next thing Eluniel knew, the girl already had the apparent leader of the group by his neck.

Consider this a warning. When the DisCo say something, you listen. So i say again, will you cease and desist?

URGH! Wh...what the hell.... you can do this...Do. You. Cease. And. Desist?

ARGH! OKay!

Swallowing heavily, Eluniel looked away. In her mind, she noted the need to listen to everything the so-called Disciplinary Committee had to say.

Eluniel? I am Delijah Fei. I do believe we are on the same mission no?

Realizing the name of her teammate being mentioned, Eluniel straightened up and looked down at the girl… Only to realize it was the very same one that she had just witnessed beating up those boys. Her mouth almost fell agape as she stumbled over her response.

“U-uh, y-yea-yeah,” Was all she could manage as she struggled to regain her composure in the face of this girl. If there was anything she had learned from watching the episode earlier, it was to make sure she did not offend this girl too much. Remembering that she had to introduce herself, even if Delijah already knew, she forced a smile onto her face to hide her anxiety as she did.

“I a-am Eluniel. Pleased to me-meet you.”

She took another difficult gulp as she looked down into Delijah’s large eyes.

-------Oracio Krego-------

Waking up, Krego got his cup of coffee, just as he did every morning. Mixing in the usual amount of cream and sugar, he took a sip from the steaming mug. His room was full of all sorts of candles and enchantments. He had no electric lights, only the same blue stones he had in his classroom as his lights. His bed was messy, but it was fixing itself up. He had only 2 windows that had curtains blocking any light from getting inside. Holding his cup of coffee he opened the curtains and the natural morning sunlight filled the room, almost making it glow. He had to squint in the light; his body was still waking up so his eyes took a bit to adjust. When he could see normally again, he took another sip from his cup. It was Friday. He had no classes for the day and so he had nothing to do other than study more of the books he had.

He walked up to the bookshelf he had that was next to his bed and picked one out to read from. He hadn’t opened it, instead he tucked it under his arm and walked out his door. It was the usual morning routine for everyone. Just about the same thing every year.

Despite not having a class, he still went to his classroom. That way if a student needed him they could find him easily. He sat at his desk and opened the book to the first page and began reading.

-------Arukab Tragide-------

Having no class for this lovely Friday morning, Arukab got right up like usual and headed out the door. He never did have trouble in the mornings. A lot of people need something to kick-start their day, but Arukab was always capable of getting right up and doing whatever he needed or wanted to do.

Today he decided to go to the arena to give some pointers to the students that were fighting. Not much to his day. In fact he may even spar with some students, but only if either they asked him, or if he wanted to teach some things about their fighting style. He never tried changing someone’s way of combat, but he would try to show them their own weak points, just so they knew what some foes might try. This would give them a heads up and would further improve their defenses, but at the same time, it wasn’t always easy picking out weak spots. A lot of people these days had their own ways of fighting. So it was completely customized. Regardless, he would always try to see weak points, not only to teach his students, but to further improve his combat as well.

When he arrived at the arena, there were no students there just yet, but he knew there would be. The upper classmen would be the only students there this early in the year, so any students there should recognize him. Some of his favorite students he might challenge to a spar, just to see how they have improved.

-------Ray and Kisharu-------

Waking up, Ray realized that once again he was the last to awaken. He had no classes today, but wasn’t going to let this beautiful day go to waste. Who knows, he may even get the chance to see Stella, but he wouldn’t get his hopes up. She was busy and he was going to be outside on walks for the day, bonding more with Kisharu. Kisharu was sleeping on the bed at Ray’s feet, so when he stood up, his pet wolf awoke.

Having decided what he was going to do today, he began to head to the Eureka town park. He figured that to be the best place to let Kisharu play around. Heading out the doors, the pair was both energetic and ready to go. They walked strait to the park, not taking any other stops. First, since it was so early, Ray was just sitting on a bench. Kisharu was sitting on the ground resting his head on the bench while Ray gently stroked the soft fur on the wolf. It was the first day he would get to play with his pet since coming here.

(OOC: I love all of the deep character develpoement so far. So many personalities and backgrounds clashing. This is just the beginning!)

Damn it! What the hell?! What the bloody hell happened?

"I'm with Zee on this one, I want to know what is going on."

Stella had not heard them. She dropped down to her knees on the soft down, tears sliding down her face. She knew that Orion would not return with them. She knew, but said nothing to the others. Wiping the her tears away quickly. She gazed towards the blue ocean as a twenty foot wave came crashing onto the shore a great distance away, no doubt it was from the explosion unheard from miles out into the sea. Stella had to wonder: was her mission successful?

Today was a new day, she wanted to take her mind off the sacrifice of which only she knew of at the moment. "Um..." Stella uttered after a long pause of silence. "It was supposed to be an intel mission..."

Stella flashed a smile on her face towards the other two. "Guess it got a little messy huh?"

Her body ached all over from fighting and running furiously. She didn't want the others to catch her sadness. "But it was a success!" Stella said opening her black bag and getting out the folder she took from the meeting. "I'll tell you two all about it...maybe at lunch? I'm starved!"

Stella then ran towards the school waving at the two as she left. She was going to deliver the folder and get to her room for some well needed sleep. She ran throough the school and up the steps, not caring that she wore the uniform of Diaga academy:they should know who she was. She ran until she got to Krell's office. She saw the open office and walked in openly leaving the folder on Krell's desk.

Krell somewhere behind the door spoke as Stella reached the door. "Ah! You got the job finished?" Krell asked.

"yes" Stella replied impatiently as she walked through the door ignoring Krell.

She hurried to her room to close her eyes. She so desperately wanted to escape into a dream of which everything wasn't real. A place where she could escape to for just a moment...

With the morning of Nova’s class having flown by in a haze of high speed trimaradan sailing, girl/boy ogling and after some initial hesitation great hilarity which ensued from people falling off the bowsprit and getting laughed at by their classmates who then immediately fell off after “going to show them how it’s done” or in the girl’s case spent mainly ogling the boys who were usually going for seconds back to show off some more.

After having been tied up in the leeward side of the harbor island in a little bay which looked almost exactly like the place they shoot those bounty commercials, white sand, blue water, 30 degree Celsius weather and some coconut palm trees and some very lucky man’s house. Pulling their lunches from the waterproof drums Nova had had attached to the deck and kicking back, the students seeming intent on mingling more now that they had all survived the first round of tests more or less intact, the prizes having been delivered to their respective owners, a few magazines of “men’s literature” to Mister Henson, the boy winner and a bag of testers for high priced cosmetics for Miss Denton who won on behalf of the girls with an almost embarrassing lead over the competition.

After lunch and with a bit of class courage the inevitable call of “Nova, Nova” rose up for her to take a try on the bowsprit. Class bonding achieved by humor and good times Nova walked up to the bowsprit stashing her watch and a few other items of jewelry she hadn’t taken off yet in one of the cans while the crew turned the boat back onto open water. Swaying with the movements of the ship in a most provocative manner she walked up to the sprit which had dried in the sun somewhat over the course of the meal, the downside of which being that it was now very warm to the touch. Standing on the bow for a second to gain a bit of feel for the movements of the ship before grabbing hold of the forestay and walking out onto the hull, her gloved hand helping her maintain a grip in the relatively rough seas, the skipper apparently deciding he wasn’t going to make it easy on her. Walking all the way to the very tip Nova folded her feet so that they were ankles on the outside and crossed at the toes, figuring that it would make for a good way to hold herself, before the skipper and crew folded the Gennaker pulling the Genoa tight and coursing towards the wind on a close hauled course. Pulling 2 of the three hulls out of the water at angles that had so far not been reached, she guessed they had been going easy on her students or something… With the angles changing this much Nova contemplated moving one of her feet onto the stay, before reconsidering that the stay would be slippery and would send her sliding down and falling quite a ways into the water with friction burns, not a particularly appealing concept. Nova was finding progress relatively smooth, until after about 30 seconds the crew decided it’d be great fun to slam the boat down onto the water from a 45 degree angle dropping Nova like a brick into the water and getting everyone wet. Luckily for her the Crew knew that they were doing and after dipping the botes angle enough to toss her hoisted the sails tight again picking the hull up so the boat would go over her without touching her.

Suddenly Nova was falling, Grabbing a quick breath of air and assuming the position for heli-to-water insertion -one arm over the midriff, the other one jammed between that one and holding her face, normally to keep ones goggles on and mouth piece in, legs crossed on the shins head beant forward just a notch- Nova broke the surface with as barely a ripple as is possible in seas like this when you’re not expecting it. Piercing deep into the blue waters before swimming towards the surface with strong powerful kicks from her tones thighs and calves, Nova almost jumping when she broke the surface exposing herself up to her thighs while swinging her red hair out of her face, a trail of droplets gleaming in the sun and showing her hair gleaming in the afternoon sunlight. Her trained body gleaming in the sunlight and her white monokini struggling to contain the forces at play here, glistening with the sea water and in stark contrast to her tanned skin, bobbing up and down while waiting for the boat to come about to pick her up. Lying in the water bobbing up and down on the waves while making some location adjustments to the top and bottom ends of monokini, it having shifted slightly out of position showing more skin then she would have liked. Climbing onto the boat with a bit of help from the crew had her jiggling slightly before walking to her can where she had a towel, adjusting the bottom to fix the semi-wedgie she had gotten from that stunt. Before toweling her wet body, dry and sitting back down to reapply her sun tanning lotion generously rubbing it on her curves…

Veerle Shinja
Respect

Veerle's eyes drifted over to the scuffle between Delijah and a few Blue Sect newbies. Naturally, them being boys, they instantly thought that Delijah, not only being shorter but also being a girl, would be weaker than them. A satisfied little smile spread across Veerle's mouth as Delijah proved them all wrong - with rather painful consequences; for them, of course.

In the DisCom, the females were definitely not to be underestimated. Delijah had shown those boys that just because she was a girl, they shouldn't think of her as a pushover.

There were a few amazed gasps of awe to Veerle's left, as well as several mutters of Delijah's skill. Veerle nodded approvingly. This was what being in the DisCom was all about. Delivering punishment upon those who broke the rules.

"Ah! Ohayo gozaimasu. Good morning. My name is Maya Kamiya. Please to make your aquaintance. I will be your uh... team member for the mission for finding the missing children. Please look after me."

Veerle's attention was broken from her fellow DisCom female as she turned and looked to the girl addressing her.

"Shinpai go muyou," Veerle returned the girls bow with an inclination of her head. "There's no need to worry. I'll take good care of you." She shifted the polearm and held out her hand. "Veerle Shinja, Disciplinary Committee Member and your ally on this mission." The smile she offered the girl was the softest she could manage. After all, she wasn't usually very friendly.

"Stick with me and we'll get this done with no trouble."

Crimson Wolf
Amane...?

While Crimson awaited the others going out on the missions to arrive, he closed his eyes for a moment to just relax. But in a matter of seconds, he heard what sounded as if to be claws clicking along the floor, but didn't pay attention to it, until the source of it was right by him and nudged at his leg and purred.

Although he didn't so much as flinch from this, in all truth he was quite startled by it, quickly opening his eyes to look over to his side that had received a nudge by...a black panther?

This large feline's presence gave him that same nervous feeling he got when he saw Amane, he questioned in his mind of whether somehow this would happen to be that same feline, but in a full cat form.

"Amane...? Is that...you?" Crimson's tail began to nervously sway slowly from side to side as he continued to look at the black panther, finding himself in the same predicament he was in yesterday when he saw Amane in the Cafeteria.

He had found himself at a loss for words at the moment, also not feeling comfortable with speaking much to the black panther until he was absolutely sure it was Amane, but due to his feelings, and just sensing that presence of her from it, he was ninety nine percent sure this was her in a, to him, rather appealing panther form.

Athena was standing outside the gates of Eureka with her arms folded tightly, eyes on the gates, waiting for Agatha, Crimson Wolf, and Amane. All three students would be under her jurisdiction this morning as she was leading the mission to eliminate the ice dragon in a local cave nestled on the shores of the local beach. Dragons were rare, and ice dragons even more so, but now that the climate was cooling a little, the wildlife was changing, and it almost made sense that the beast had chosen this place to nest. Yet at the same time it was a menace, attacking students, or indeed, anyone who went there to train or to visit the sands and sea.

It had to be put down.

This was the first time all year Athena was leading a mission, and she was ready for it. To make her school and home proud. To keep order and eliminate the oppression that was the dragon from it. She was resolved.

Catching... pixies? Why in the name of all things holy had Alan signed up for this? Pixies- no, all small animals- didn't bode well with him.He just didn't want to make a total fool of himself. He knew a member of the Disciplinary Committee- Second Chair, no less- was accompanying he and Eluniel on this mission, and to make himself look like an ass in front of her would be nothing short of humiliating.

Taron:

“Mine is a magic so vast that it destroyed an entire city. Can I really control it?”

"We won't know unless we try, Eluniel. And I'm willing to help you if you would do the same for me." Taron looked at her, hoping for a favorable reply when the announcement interrupted them.

“I’m sorry, Taron, but I must report for my mission,”

"That's okay. We can talk about it when you get back." He watched as she ran off to her mission. Leaning back, looked up and through the canopy at the clear skies. Despite the headache things were going...dare he say it, well? He felt more at home now. He couldn't tell but it seemed that someone here did care about him and in return, so did he.

He watched as a bird flew overhead. Was this some sort of redemption for him? A return for all the years of hardship? For ending up with nothing after fourteen years? He could only hope that maybe there was someone watching over him. At least it made it seem like there was meaning instead of chance.

His headache has dulled down but it still hurt and now it was more noticable now that Eluniel was gone. Whether is was the meds or the distraction he was greatful regardless. But now he didn't know what he was going to do. He wanted to go back to bed and rest but he knew there was no chance he could sleep now. At least, not having slept as well as he did the previous night.

'When your mind is racing and you find yourself without relief, remember there is another part to you that you need not neglect. You must train both body and mind, Taron. Whenever one cannot find relief turn to the other and in turn strengthen yourself.'

Taron jerked his head up and looked around for the source of what he thought was a voice. Finding no one, he wondered if it was a hallucination brought on by the headache. Then he realized it was his mother's voice. He never thought he would hear it again. Whether it was a huallucination or not didnt matter; what mattered was what it said. Something his mother had ingrained into him, almost as if she knew what his fate was to be.

His mind was in turmoil but his body was fine so by his mother's logic he should train his body while he allowed his mind to rest. He stood up from the bench he had sat on with Eluniel and walked out of the garden and to the arena. He found it deserted except for a single person. He seemed rather familiar, as though he were someone important...

Choosing not to wrack his brain over it, Taron pulled out the Eureka Academy Handbook from his jacket pocket and pulled out the sheaf of teacher bios that had been given to him by the trustee; the man seemed to not be wearing any indication of his sect. The bios were limited, showing only a picture, the name of the teacher and their areas of specialization. Taron found the man's picture on the second page, an Arukab Tragide who specialized mainly in battle techniques with a multitude of weapons.

It seemed this teacher was a jack of all trades when it came to weapons combat. If this were true then perhaps he could tell Taron more about the style his mother had taught him, maybe even give him new insight. He walked over to sit beside the professor.

"I assume you are Professor Tragide. I don't suppose you would be able to tell me about spellblade tactics. Or at the very least, be able to tell me what my training lacks..."

Escaflowne

"Um...It was supposed to be an intel mission...Guess it got a little messy huh? But it was a success! I'll tell you two all about it...maybe at lunch? I'm starved!"

Escaflowne watch the girl run off towards the headmaster's office, or where she thought Stella would be heading off towards to. The slight spike of anger had dropped and all she felt was a bit weary. Escaflowne raised her hand to the bridge of her nose, slowly pinching the bridge in an effort to soothe her mind. With her being more calm, Escaflowne realised that she was not actually angry. Just frustrated and confused. She could tell Stella did not leave Orion there just to save her own hide. It seemed that they were going to be in the dark until lunch. With the adrenaline dropping, a slight scent lingered in the air and Escaflowne realised that her clothes were dirty with splashes of blood.

Sigh........ Eliane. I am going up to change and shower. If we stand around any longer, our appearance may cause some trouble. If we want more detail, i guess we have to wait for Stella at lunch.

Moving through the school corridor at this hour would mean they pass through a good deal of students. The quickest was via portal. With a flick of a hand, a purple, door sized portal opened up.

Im going on. Follow me though if ya want a short cut. If not, ill close it after a minute or two if i dont see you.

Without waiting, Escaflowne stepped through to the other side and emerged straight into the StuCo living room. Tired, she made her way to her sanctuary and proceeded to strip off everything and leapt right into the shower.

Delijah

“U-uh, y-yea-yeah, I a-am Eluniel. Pleased to me-meet you.”

Delijah took back what she had thought before. The girl wasnt tall, she was a giant. Their height difference was a full thirty off centimeter. Delijah felt that she had to keep her formal and controlled exterior. She lacked the physical features to intimidate and Eluniel definitely witnessed the little scuffle just then. Her first impression was on the line here and this mission would determine how she is set in this girl's mind as well as the smaller boy that she presumed to be Alan.

Ahem. Like wise. So this is it? I assume you are Alan?

Not too long ago, she had received a message from Raistlin about Blade's departure from the DisCo. He was supposed to be in this mission, but there was probably admin complications. They would have to go on.

Well, Blade has some issues so its just us. Today's target is the recovery of a group of twelve pixies on the school ground. Our job is to recover them. Since this is not an extermination mission, we have been given a few pole nets and jars to store them when we capture them. So i assume we should try and get them without harming them too much. I suppose that is the general gist of it. Any questions or suggestions as to how we approach this?

OOC: Remember Vikki. She still thinks this is a normal school.

Maya

"Shinpai go muyou, there's no need to worry. I'll take good care of you. Veerle Shinja, Disciplinary Committee Member and your ally on this mission. Stick with me and we'll get this done with no trouble."

Maya was genuinely taken aback. First off, Ms Veerle (so she will be calling you) knew how to speak Japanese, but secondly, she seemed a lot gentler and nicer than she first imagined. She had always been taught to never judge a book by its cover, but it seems like she still does once in a while. Graciously, Maya took Ms Veerle's hand and shook it.

Ah, thank you. I will try to not be a burden. I do have a question though...

Maya wringed her hand a bit, feeling that this ma be out of place, but she ploughed on anyway.

Um.... these are small children we are looking for right? Wouldn't it be faster if we had more than two people, students only no less? Wouldn't the forest be REALLY dangerous.

Maya began to look a bit worried as she began to think more.

I mean, in Japan, the forests were pretty safe, but ive seen wild animal extermination missions. I mean, are we going to be okay?

(No worries. I'll do my best to keep the truth from her until it's not capable of being hidden any longer XD)

Veerle Shinja
Reassurance

"Ah, thank you. I will try to not be a burden. I do have a question though... Um.... these are small children we are looking for right? Wouldn't it be faster if we had more than two people, students only no less? Wouldn't the forest be REALLY dangerous? I mean, in Japan, the forests were pretty safe, but ive seen wild animal extermination missions. I mean, are we going to be okay?"

Veerle was in a good mood. Usually she wouldn't have the patience for this sort of thing, but either the girl had no idea what went on at the Academy or she was still adjusting to whatever abilities and strengths had brought her here to begin with. Not able to comprehend that no-one could NOT know what the Academy was about, Veerle assumed it was the latter.

The warrior noted the girl's worried expression and allowed her smile to soften fully. Poor kid. Must be her first mission.

"Indeed, we're searching out little children. Probably would be faster with more of us, admittedly... but also more hectic. If a child were to see several students lumbering around the woods after them... what do you think their first instinct would be? To run, naturally." Veerle paused and took in the girl's face fully. "It's that which we need to prevent."

The girl tapped a finger to her mouth for a moment. "No doubt you saw Delijah's punishment upon those punks back there?" she asked.

"Well, she is a member of the Disciplinary Committee, much like myself. We are chosen based on our ability to fight and punish the wrong doings of fellow students. We're strict, harsh... some may say intimidating, but we do what we have to do in order to protect the integrity of the Academy and it's students. There's no need to worry if you have a member of the DC with you. We're fighters. I'll protect you. If things get out of hand, just get someplace safe and leave it to me."

She laughed softly. "Of course, if you're trained in fighting as some of us are, you don't need my protection."

Veerle didn't want Maya to think she thought her weak. Completely the opposite. It was reassurance on Veerle's part.

"I swear by my pride as a member of the DC that I will keep you safe."

Kutisaka Amane
Mreow

"Amane...? Is that...you?"

Amane turned her head towards Wolf's and gave him a little wink. Nuzzling a little more insistently at his leg, she pawed at his foot before batting at his tail as it swayed. Although Amane was a feral, untamed beast, she was also still young and therefore extremely playful and kittenish. The purr rumbled louder.

"It's me, Wolf," she said with a nudge at his paw. "You can pet me if you like."

Amane, at that point, didn't really care if Wolf found her panther form more awkward to commune with. After all, it was typically how she slept and spent most of the morning. She wasn't about to change her ways; not yet, at least.

She sat herself down and gazed up at him, large catty ears twitching in anticipation. Would he be brave enough to take the challenge and actually pet her?

(OOC: This will be my final post in the next two weeks unless I can manage to find a computer. I hope I can find one...Well! Anyways I will leave most of you all to go on about your day....and if any of you have seen Subienu, tell him/her about his/her mission with Agatha...)

Day 3-Morning(8am-12pm)

The cool sheets upon her skin wasn't enough to get Stella to sleep. She was angry. Angry that Krell would put the two of them in that dangerous situation, angry of his mistake. Then again, it was all her fault that they were caught. She didn't know who to blame for Orion's sacrifice. Turning over in her bed Stella gazed out of the balcony window where she could see the green forest of Eureka island and the ocean far beyond it. So peaceful, but yet Stella felt troubled.

She sat up in her bed, her sheets falling to reveal her sweaty blood covered Diaga uniform. She didn't feel like changing, she didn't know what to do. Hopefully Orion would survive and come back one day, but nobody could have survived the blast from thesource. Nobody would have been able to swim all the way back to the island in the right direction. Nobody could escape the potential survivors of Diaga warriors by themselves.

Stella arose looking at the clock. She would not be going to morning classes and she needed to get her head together before she could operate in full operation for her afternoon mission. Stella then tore off her clothes as she headed to the bathroom. She wanted to be clean, to be rid of all of the dirt and grime. Stepping into the shower. Stella turned on the hot water and let it pour upon her. Instant relief welled over her as she greeted the water with open arms.

The shower lasted twenty minutes and by the end of it Stella had been sitting on the shower floor, her knees wrapped in her arms, the water pounding on her head. Only temporary relief. She came out and dried off looking in the mirror. Her expression seemed solemn but she didn't care. She would have to tell Krell of what she knew.

She went to her room and opened her wardrobe finding a pair of really short black elastic shorts that reached only to the top of her thighs. She slipped them on and found a skirt with no front of which she could loop the ends through the straps of the shorts. The skirt seemed to only flow from the back and Stella quite admired this effect. Fashiion was making her feel better. She found a black top of which she slid on and pulled on her whit blazer hand me down from her older brother. Then she parted her hair and brushed it before she was ready to head out of the door and back to Krell's office...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Headmaster Krell took the pages of the folder and scanned through every peice of information. His suspicions were confirmed. Diaga Academy was up to something. He skimmed through the pages and saw something which shook him to the very core. He knew what they were after: Even worse he knew that they had a justifiable excuse. He jumped up and began to use telekinesis although it had been a while. He phoned a message to the guards or Eureka academy. Then he heard a knock at his door.

"Come in." he said.

It was Stella she had come to see him. "So..."

"Eureka is in danger." Krell spoke softly. "Hopefully you and Orion put an end to it?"

"Yes, with the help of Eliane and Escaflowne." Stella said softly. "Why didn't you send out all four of us?"

"Because the less people who go on a mission, the less likely there will be mistakes. Seeing as you brought me evidence I take it you weren't found out?"

Stella paused. Still silence swept the air. "The reason Eliane and Esca came was because we were found out."

Stella felt a pang in her heart. It was all because of her. She had been the reason another person has lost their life. Guilt could not express the pain she felt. "Orion had to blow up the boat...He told us to go on ahead."

Krell understood now. He could see it in her expression. He could feel it in the single tear that formed within her eye as she looked into his. He gave Stella a hug and she had begun to sob lightly and he patted her back, whispering words of encouragement such as "It wasn't you fault" and "It's going to be okay." along with "Everything is oging to be alright." But as both of them embraced, they knew that these words were nowhere near the truth.

"So what should we do?" Stella asked wiping her last tear away. She had to be strong for the student body.

She couldn't be seen crying. She couldn't be weak for her school. This was a combat institute. Death happened. It was life. Stella reminded herself this and stood waiting for further instruction.

"I will heighten out defenses from a distance. Eureka Town will have to be warned as well." Krell began. "I will post guards at the three mile radius of the island. If all else fails, we fight for our freedom."

The room was silent. Stella couldn't understand. "Why would they do such a thing....I mean our own government!"

"It's a long history Stella....but in the end, it all comes down to our powers. That's all it ever was." He said as he gazed out of his big office window. "Are you still here? You should tell the other Student Council members. Just try to keep it between you four-"

He stopped. Once again he was reminded of the tragic consequences of his failed descision. "You three shall discuss who is guarding what if the situation ever arises that Eureka needs to fight. Go over this with the Disciplinary Committie when you are finished."

"Yes sir."

Crimson Wolf
If it is what you want

"It's me, Wolf," the feline spoke, as she gave a nudge at Wolf's paw. "You can pet me if you like."

This confirmed it, it was definitely Amane. As soon as he knew for certain, he actually became much more relaxed, and began to gently stroke the fur from atop her head to a little ways across her back.

He was very careful as to not let his claws catch her at all. "This may look unusual to others, but if it is what you want, I don't care what they think of it..." he spoke softly, looking into Amane's eyes as he did.

"It is nice to see you again. It has only been hours, but it has seemed like days, I've been thinking about you so much during this time, Amane..." after a moment of pause, realizing something, there was a question he had to ask her.

"Might I ask what brings you here to the Great Hall? While I've seen you as more of a playful feline, seeing you now I can sense the wild side of you, as that of a feral beast, a black panther, prowling under the night sky, under the light of the moon...ugh, sorry, I got carried away..."

As he spoke of her as a feral beast, he carried on more about it than he felt comfortable with, and became a bit embarrassed over it, but he thought that it probably wouldn't bother Amane with anyway, he himself just felt it had become a tad awkward by the time he caught himself from continuing on further about it.

Eliane decided to follow Zee and her shortcut to the StuCo rooms. After what had happened today, she figured that Orion had to have made the ultimate sacrifice doing what he did.

Entering her rooms she placed her swords on the breakfast nook and sat down on her bed, looking down and worn out. Losing a friend to her was like losing her mother, fighting for the government that lost a war recently.

"So, what are we to do now? What's left for us to do..." Eliane thought in her mind.

"If you're finished." Athena looked at Crimson Wolf and Amane with a raised brow "We have a mission to complete. If you both survive the Ice Dragon, you can pet her all you want." Athena began stretching her arms and legs, limbering them up for battle while still remaining graceful and elegant. "You should do the same. Stops you from pulling a muscle or a hamstring in the middle of a mission." Tilting her head to exert her neck muscles into readiness, she continued. "And that's going to save your life if you're in a capture or eliminate mission."

She really didn't get romances like that. She'd lived several years without them. Perhaps it was why she was such a cold hearted bitch. Athena smiled at the thought as she swung her hips. She knew what she was and accepted it, but she had emotions at the end of the day, and couldn't help but wonder what a romance would be like for her. How ironic that a Disciplinary Committee member desired bonds at the end of the day, even though their first priority was supposed to be the Academy. Not that Raistlin or Veerle seemed to follow that unofficial rule. Even Cathal seemed to be chasing after someone about three years younger than him and in Blue Sect.

Still, best not to overthink it. Looking at Crimson Wolf and Amane again, she inclined her head towards the nearby beach. "Come on. We're leaving." Agatha didn't seem to be showing up, and Athena didn't want to wait for the girl. Gifted or not, she didn't seem to have any punctuality, so she could get left behind as a lesson.

(OOC: At this point, Raistlin doesn't know that Orion is dead. That's why he mentions him in the text message. Also: XBAWKZ HUEG POAST! :gasp:)

Raistlin had forgotten to send the text message to the rest of the Disciplinary Committee. Taking out his phone as he walked out through the front gates of the school, he typed it in. “As of this point forward, Blade is no longer associated with the Disciplinary Committee. Also, Orion and Stella should be back from their mission. Keep an eye on Orion, and update me on his status. If he should try something, I want to be aware. -Raistlin-” That should be sufficient enough, thought Raistlin. He wasn't quite sure what he was going to do out here, but hey, at the moment, half the school was out on missions, or in class, so why not go out and explore? If anyone needed to reach him, his cellphone was on.

Eureka Academy was known for being in a great spot that happened to be located around ruins. Some discovered, most not. For years Raistlin had been reading up on them in books specifically about ruins located around Eureka Academy. With that in mind, he headed into the forest that was south of the school.

Not knowing what the ruins would look like after thousands of years of erosion and weathering. Keeping a mental note in mind to be extra diligent, he plunged in deeper into the great forest that lied ahead of him. The terrain of the forest was somewhat difficult to walk through at times. Roots of huge trees that had lived for hundreds, if not thousands of years would occasionally cause him to stumble. Thorns, branches, vines, and other assortments of annoyances were thrown out in front of him.

At times, as he walked, he considered burning them down. However, he knew at that point he would end up burning the whole forest down. So, he just continued forward with no choice but to deal with the problematic brushes and vines. It was said, in times long since passed that there were people that lived in forests like these. They were masters of magic, and the best Mages in the world. Raistlin's Father often spoke of them and how they inspired him to become one of the best Mages in the world.

Of course, it could be said that Raistlin didn't care for his Father's inspiration less than he cared for his Father. He had only bad memories of his Father. He pushed Raistlin to the edge in every training section, and for the better part of a year, he taught Raistlin how to channel his life force into spells, and how to use Arcane energies to rip pure magic essence from the universe itself. All of this could be taxing on ones health, especially when you're only 9, and for Raistlin, it was.

For the next month and a half after that, Raistlin was sick, brittle, and frail. Coughing up blood on a daily basis, passing out into a trance like state for days, Raistlin almost died many times in that month and a half. He never forgave his Father for making him do that to himself. However, he had to admit, at the age of 17, he was one of the best Mages the world had ever seen. And even then, he never stopped, not for a second to stop studying his magic. From books, to training in real time, he wanted to learn it all.

Still walking through the forest, Raistlin found it odd that he was reminiscing like this. It was rare that he thought about his childhood... Or in his case, the lack of one. It was if the closer he went in one direction, the more he started to think about it.

Something was wrong, and Raistlin didn't like it in the slightest.

Eventually, he noticed slight changes in the scenery around him. There were no longer just trees and vines, where the sunlight just barely shown through. There were no stone pillars, and what looked like cobblestone flooring. He had stumbled upon something. Were these the ruins of a once great civilization? Raistlin was eager to find out. He noticed the outlines of buildings that used to be there, and the broken frames of others. However, they weren't what was causing the strange feeling that was coming over him. It was... To his right. That's where it was coming from. After walking a few feet, that's when he noticed it. Now hidden under centuries worth of hanging tree roots from above, was an entrance that seemed to go far below the earth.

He couldn't squeeze through there without burning some of the roots. Using fire, he burned half of them away, and using the moisture of the soil around him, he put out the flames quickly. This gave him enough room to get into the dark cavern.

It was dark inside. Very dark, to the point where he couldn't see his hand in front of his face. Once again relying on his fire magic. He created a ball of fire in his hand and outstretched his arm. This created enough light for him see forward. The stairs he was walking down seemed to go on forever. The only sound he could hear was the sound of his boots on the stone stairs, and how it echoed, bouncing off the walls.

The persistent, never changing, rhythm of the sound of his steps, was enough to drive him up a wall. However, he continued and pressed on. Every step he took, he got more and more anxious, and nervous. Why was the feeling emanating from this place? What was it? He had to know. It would drive him crazy at this point to not figure it out.

Suddenly, without warning, there were no more stairs. He made the light brighter, but as he did so, flames of torches on the wall. Standing in the middle of the room, in similar dark robes as Raistlin's was someone who shouldn't have been there. Raistlin's Father turned around to face his son.

“Good morning, Raistlin.” Anger surged through Raistlin's veins like poison. Why, why was his Father here? “Fuck off,” was the only thing Raistlin could say to the bastard standing in front of him. “That's not a pro-” cut off by Raistlin, “Ah, I get it now. The feeling back there... You're not my Father. You're a defense system. My memories back there was simply you, essentially downloading my memories of my Father, and creating yourself in the image of my Father.”

The thing in front of him smiled. “In over 1400 years, you're the only person to get that right. And so quickly too. How is this?” With a smile on his face, Raistlin replied, “Once I calmed down, I just put the pieces together. It's not that hard. Pardon my language before. I hope you understand that I hate the son of a bitch you're portraying.”

“Oh, I am sorry. Maybe this would be better...” The thing before Raistlin said as it switched forms. Suddenly, Blade stood before him. “I am the guardian of this place. What you are attempting to find is dangerous, and the civilization that was here before created me to defend it. It wiped them out, imagine what it would do to a lowly lifeform like yourself.”

“I think you underestimate me. I'm better than them. I want that artifact back there, and I'm going to take it. Even if that means prying it out of your cold dead hands.” Raistlin dove forward as the fake Blade whipped out a spear and sliced upwards. Teleporting behind the fake Blade, Raistlin unleashed a fury of lightning from his fingertips.

However, the Pseudo-Blade was faster than that. He quickly rolled out of the way, moving to the left of Raistlin. Raistlin felt the ground shake under him as Pseudo-Blade used magic to make a pillar rise up from the ground under Raistlin. Stepping backward, Raistlin didn't have a problem dodging it. “Blade didn't use magic,” Raistlin exclaimed. “It doesn't matter. I just needed a form to use to protect the Ouroboros.” So that's what the thing back there was called. However, depictions of the Ouroboros was a snake eating his own tail. That must have signified something. Raistlin would find out soon enough. Sensing the moisture around him Raistlin slowly started to get the floor wet around them both.

Pseudo-Blade rushed at him, spear drawn, as Raistlin grabbed it, spun Pseudo-Blade. What would have been useless, was made rather effective as Raistlin teleported them near a wall, and slammed Pseudo-Blade into a wall. The scream of pain from the imitation of Blade was satisfying. “This fight is over,” Raistlin stated, with a sense of pride, and maniacal laughter. “How so?”, the imposter asked.

“It just is.” The imposter spoke, “I find your lack of an argument disturbing.” Suddenly, he turned into the last person he expected: Orion. “HA, YOU COULDN'T HAVE PICKED AN EASIER TARGET! Look where you're standing idiot. I was draining the moisture of years of rain from the soil, through the cracked rocks, onto the floor. You're standing in it. This fight is over, good bye.” Laughing at the top of his lungs, he spewed lightning from his fingertips into the puddle of water that Pseudo-Orion was standing in.

The imposter was dead. This was confirmed as the body of it vanished. Turning around, Raistlin looked at the thing in the hollow of the wall. He noticed that there was a huge book next to it. Raistlin picked them both up, and shoved it in his bag. He had to get back to the academy. So much excitement for one day, and he still hadn't had his mission yet.

Glancing at it once last time, he noticed that it was a cylindrical shaped object. Kind of like an hourglass, and it appeared it could be plugged into something. Maybe he would take it by Krell's office later.

“Time to get back,” Raistlin said to himself. Full of wonder and curiosity on what this object was. Maybe the book would provide clues...

Xe thought about the teacher's offer, and he decided to take it.

Alright, so tonight it is, I don't sleep anyways. This should work out, unless the people in my dorm make a fit about it. But be aware that I act strangely during the night.

X
e thought for a moment. Should he tell the teacher about himself? No, he must wait until the time is right.

What is his name though? Looks like he would have to dive into the teacher's mind. Names are usually the first thing he will see in a mind, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Focusing on the teacher, Xe entered his mind. But the mind was unlike any other he had seen, it was jumbled up. Moving quickly, running into many obstacles on the way, Xe found his name, and broke the connection. He shuddered at what he had seen.

So, I will see you tonight Mishra.

Xe walked out of the classroom, and headed to the training facility.

Internally, she was struggling not to quit the mission on the spot. On one hand, she didn’t want to deal with a raging Disciplinary Committee member running after her, and a Vice President at that. On the other hand, it’d be pure rude anyway, and wouldn’t do much good in leaving behind a positive impression to the ‘authorities’, of sorts, here.

Almost as soon as she uttered those words, another member of the team showed up. Responding to her greeting, Delijah proceeded on to greet Alan. Almost as soon as the greetings were exchanged, she went on to brief the team on the mission. Eluniel listened attentively, and promptly shook her head as soon as Delijah finished. Keeping an awkward smile on her face, she could feel beads of sweat trickle down her face as she feigned casualness in front of Delijah.

Ravona took things easy while on the boat with Nova and several other students. She had already discarded the things Nova had given her. Ravona didn’t need such things to make herself appear more then she was. In fact she was already much more then she appeared. The trip was rather uneventful and boring, the most interesting thing being Miss Carmine falling into the water, and Ravona was glad when they finally returned to the Eureka harbor.
Ravona reactivated the teleportation gate and said to Nova: “Excuse me but I won’t remain for whatever is left of your classes miss Carmine I have more pressing matters to attend too.” And with that Ravona disappeared leaving Nova and the other students.

Ravona returned to her room and lay down on the bed, she closed her eyes and focused her power, within moments the room was closed from reality again and Ravona took a short nap to recover the magic she had used today. Though technically Ravona didn’t need sleep it did speed up the process.

Escaflowne
With much if the grime washed odd, the hot water allowed Escaflowne to also wash away some of the troubles she had, even if its only temporarily. Orion going MIA was troubling. As much as he was an arse before, he was still a comrade. This was spilt milk however and as the saying goes, there was no use crying over it. Reluctantly, the hot water was turned off and Escaflowne stepped out to redress in a new set of clothes. She loved formality and order in her clothes, so it was another set of uniform that she always wore. It had been a while since they returned and maybe lunch would relax and loosen Stella a bit. Enough for her to talk. After what they went through, surely an early lunch is the least they deserved?

As she exited her room, it was apparent that Stella was not in her own. It was best to just wait if Escaflowne wanted to meet up with her. Dropping herself onto the large couch, she let herself drift off as she waited

Delijah

Both of her companions seem to have no further input. In fact, Delijah could feel a bit of tension between herself and Eluniel. Did she lay the "hard arse" rountine too thick? She didn't want to lose a chance of making a friend, but then, she had to appear mature. The dilemma began to make her head spin, before Delijah shook it out.

We...well. Lets get going then.

Delijah led them out towards the garden that was closest to the forest. It was the most likely spot the pixies could have went to. After all, they tend to live in forests. The small body and wings make it the perfect spot to live in order to lose predators.

Okay. We should search here first. If Blade was here, we could have split into two teams of two, but since he isnt, we would have to act as a single team. Pixies are smart, so we need to trap them. Who wants to take point?

OOC: Either one of you two can lead the team

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OOC: Since there will be danger and a few monster attack, i may have her accidentally let off her latent powers later in the mission.
Maya
"I swear by my pride as a member of the DC that I will keep you safe."
Ms Veerle's confidence was contagious and it thoroughly convinced Maya that she would be safe in her hands. The little stint with the small girl also helped in reassuring Ms Veerle's strength. Pulling up her guitar more securely on her back, Maya began checking her first aid kid she brought along, along with some gear that are frequently used in rescue such as rope and torch. It may appear extreme to the others in school, who were used to danger, but this was a step into the unknown for Maya. Bravely Maya began to walk towards the main door when she stopped and turned her head around with an embarrassed smile.
Ehehehe... Um... Ms Veerle, i'm new here so... do you mind if you lead the way?
