*Eureka Academy*

((OOC: Apologies, to think I came up with such a short post despite my intent to let you post first so my post wouldn’t be short…))

There was a brief moment of silence as the trio stood about, waiting for someone to take leadership. Surprisingly enough, contrary to Eluniel’s belief, Delijah did not express much interest in being the leader. Neither did Eluniel, anyway.

"Let's go, then."

With that, Alan took a step forward. It was an attempt at an authoritative tone, and while it didn’t rub off Eluniel as anything charismatic, she was thankful that someone decided to lead. Eluniel quietly followed him, focusing on his back to calm herself down.

"Maybe so, but you may also have to consider that the docks may be one of their landing points as well. They will not be just attacking the school, they will attacking any student of Eureka on this island, even those in Eureka Town, so the civillians safety must also be considered as well. Whatever strategy on how to defend the island should be agreed upon by the headmaster and the head of the Disciplinary Committee, since Rastlin's Committee would help maintain order."

"But if you think the majority of students on Eureka are in the school. Students below a certain rank can't even leave the campus unless on a mission. I'm just saying it's most likely they will strike near the school." Stella spoke in response. "Krell said something about protecting the citizens. The Discom can focus on defenses... That's a go."

"I'm just hoping that the government isn't really involved in this."

Stella was silent at this. She knew they were but wanted the others to keep hopes up for the government.

Unlikely with the point about the Government's involvement.

Stella has seen her silent attempt fail but bigger matters were at hand.

Daiga people aren't stupid. They know they probably would be hard pressed to just attack us. If they do succeed in overtaking us, then they win the gamble, but more likely than not, they won't. They must have some pretty heavy duty support if they are willing to pull risky maneuvers. Unprovoked attack on another school is bad press after all.

"Support from the government may be all they need." said Stella thinking out loud. "The military's power is pretty strong. Maybe they're being funded...Either one or the other. I don't think the government could do this to it's own people unless there was a reason."

Its quite true about the docks. We cant have people evacuating from the main dock if a battle is raging there. Unless we repulse the Daiga on their first wave, we only have a small window of time to get students off before they launch another wave. We should find other possible docks to use as well. Even if they aren't as big, at least students are getting off the island.

"But what if the island was surrounded?" Stella said thinking deeper into the matter. "I think there are still safety deposits around the island still from when the island used to be a military base. But it's really old. It may be our only alternative for now."

Lastly, if they do manage to get a hold of some landing point, then i really assume the final fallback point will be the school. If we do settle on that, then we should set up funnel and choke points along our fallback routes. The longer we stall them the better. I opt for keeping the battle in the town, but thats only being optimistic. Of course, we should definitely finalise a plan ASAP with the other powers in school. Are we able to get a hold on Raistlin and some DisCo members for an immediate meeting Stella?

"So basically we can hold them back in the school as a last resort. That being said we can't let anyone get into the school. We'll have strong defenses. I heard there are two blue sects with enormous power. Our magic and abilities will always conquer machinery and guns. I'll call Krell to set up an announcement for all Teachers, and Discom members."

With that she called Krell and an annoucement arrived:

ATTENTION ALL DISCOM MEMBERS/INSTRUCTORS. A MEETING IN THE STUDENT COUCIL DORMS HAS BEEN ISSUED IMMEDIATELY. CLASSES SHALL BE CANCELED UNTIL LUNCH.

Raistlin heard the announcement. All DisCom members were to report to the Student Council room immediately. He didn't know what was going on, but whatever it was had to be pretty serious to cancel classes, and potentially interrupt missions. However, Raistlin was now posed with a slight problem. With the Ouroboros at his disposal, he was now somewhat paranoid. He didn't want to leave it in his dorm.

He could put it in his secret room, but even then, the safest place in the world it could be was with Raistlin. So, taking out his messenger bag, he placed the Ouroboros in the bag, and slung it over his shoulder. Grabbing a bottle of coke from his fridge, he opened it and took a sip. Then, in an instant, he teleported directly into to Student Council room.

“Good morning,” Raistlin said with a smug grin of self satisfaction on his face.

Being out on the ship working on her tan and keeping the students in line –not much work was required there, most being intent on sitting in the sun working on their tan or ogling the other side as they were tanning…

Half an hour later around 1 o clock in the afternoon Nova’s cell phone rung, “Nova Carmine, ooh hey Atma, how’s things? Uh huh, tell them I’ll be there as soon as I can…” Nova said as she told the captain to drop her on the mainland before she got her bag out of the case.

“Okay guys, I’ve got the boat rented for the rest of the day, but since I got to run on school business, Have some food and a barbeque or two over there, as well as a few coolers of drinks, Nova said pointing at a beach to the left of the marina, Boat’s paid up until six o clock…” Nova said before picking the highest ranking students in charge and told them to keep track of infractions and such. “I’ll arrange for transport for the lot of you after dinner, I’m sure you guys can find something to do until then… But as I said I gotta go…” Nova said as she pulled the sundress over her head and walked out behind a building from behind which she didn’t reemerge…

Wrapping herself in darkspace she portaled down into the in a spot no one was looking at… Dropping the cloak she went “So what did you guys pull me out of class for?”

P.S. Darkspace is what I call it when Nova warps electromagnetic fields around her to create a bubble of space where there is no electromagnetic radiation, meaning she cannot be seen and shit… Bend the light back around at the end so it doesn’t ripple and you can see the stuff behind it… I love tecknology, hypertech for winJ
Downside is that fancy trick is that I can’t see anything… Hence the name Darkspace… Basically I figure being spotted decloaking isn’t as likely to get me paradoxed to hell as teleporting…

Mishra:

Mishra's reverie was interrupted by an announcement calling for him. The wide grin was replaced by a frown. "No respect for those that can destroy the world..." he muttered. He slammed the door to his office as he walked out.

Taking a more conventional route, he kept to normal means of travel: stairs hallways. At least until he was under the Student Council dorms. He floated up and through the floor to sit in a seat with his legs crossed and his fingers steepled. "So what do you find so important as to interrupt my research?" he asked, vitriol evident in his voice.

(OOC: Sorry for the short and late reply, the damn thread wouldnt let me post)

As he finished training, Xe looked around. There were so many people around usually, but he was the only there. The only visible one that is.

Well, it looks like I'm going to have to eat lunch. Training makes me quite hungry.

He walked out. The halls were emptier than usual. Xe wondered what was going on. Were all the people out or in classes? He was surely one of the few around.

He arrived at the main hall, a few kids were lined up for lunch. Xe took his place in line and waited for the lunch room doors to open.

Ray

Obviously for his back, Joey had asked if Ray had any painkillers. "Sorry, but I don't carry painkillers on me. The best I can say is to get someone to give you a back massage." He was trying to be humorous to try and make Joey laugh. At least a small laugh. It was worth a shot. Kisharu was sitting by Ray's side...

To be safe, Arukab had already began covering his body in a very thin sheet of silver. "Good, I'm glad to hear you added your own touches." Arukab spoke, just before seeing a blacksteel blade being unsheathed. A beautiful blade indeed.

"You shouldn't worry about magic, Arukab. It is...undesireable for me to use magic at the current time."

Well that was a relief, Arukab hated dealing with magic users. He then saw focus enter the guy's mind. That was a really good sign, he already knew a great deal about the necessity of focus in battle.

Now he was going to attack. The blade was to Arukab's left, and so Arukab instinctively jolted to the right, bringing his Soul Shot to his left. But of course, this person had to be coming back again. This time from behind, so Arukab fell to the ground using a leg sweep. His hair dragged on the floor as he spun his entire body around. He was almost perfectly parallel to the ground. At the same time he thickened the silver on him, but his kick managed to dodge the attack completely. Arukab then leaped back so he was a good distance away.

"I didn't catch your name..."

"Sorry, but I don't carry painkillers on me. The best I can say is to get someone to give you a back massage."

"Heh. Well, I figured I might as well ask anyways. Take it easy."

Now came the hard part for Joey. Since he didn't really know anyone, he would feel odd walking up to a complete stranger and asking them for a back massage. As he walked away, he wondered how he would approach the situation. He decided the best course of action was to go back to his dorm and try to rest, in hopes of feeling better when he awoke.

“Good morning,”

"How nice of you to show." Stella said half sarcastically as the Discom mage teleported into the room. "You are responsible for all of the Disciplinary committie knowing the following information so please listen up. We'll wait for the others first."

“So what did you guys pull me out of class for?”

The teacher Ms. Nova had appeared before her and Stella couldn't help but to motion her to have a seat on one of the couches with the others. "All will be revealed when everyone gets here." Stella was becoming impatient.

If she could her the announcement loud as day, couldn't the others? She was ready to start when the student teacher Mishra came barging in. "So what do you find so important as to interrupt my research?"

"Ah, well I suppose this is a nice crowd." Stella said before standing and addressing the others of the meeting. "We conducted this meeting to warn you all of a possible attck on Eureka Academy by Diaga Academy who is possibly assisted by the government. Don't ask question of how we know this as certain facts have already been confirmed. The main subject is how the students will be protected. Most likely a majority of them will be fighting alongside us to protect the school in the midst of an invasion. Now I know that Krell said something about protecting the school and town his own way but there are also people in Eureka town that would like to fight also. I have concluded that using docks to get the others students to safety would be no use so therefore They shall take refuge in the school's basement which should be a great place to shelter. I think there should be certain groups and places protected. I'm proposing a mage attacking from the tallest tower of the castle to destroy advances from the sky and maybe troops on the grounds protecting every part of the school. The forest on the island needs no protection as it had natural predators that would attack both ally and enemy. The town will be guarded by town officials and Krell, hopefully. There can be troops there as well. In the upcoming battle aghead. Our priority would be to not let Any enemy soldiers into the main entrance of the castle, or into the castle in any way. I would like you all to inform the absent teachers, and other parts of Discom of our situation. Any Questions, concerns, comments?"

OOC: Nova´s blackopps and the questions I am going to be asking are the kind that would be asked in a SEAL team briefing. Just assume nova will pause the speech for answering any questions we have an answer too…

As the plan was laid out by the girl who had disturbed her before class a few days ago Nova noticed a few glaring holes in it, like pretty much the whole thing.

“Eeehm, Yeah I have a few comments, concerns and question or two.

First, You say that this Diaga academy is plotting –with either active help or passive approval- by the government to attack this school. Do we know their stated objective? Do they want us all dead or do they just want to slap us around a little and prove a point? Do we know how much help the government is willing to provide? Do we know how badly they want it? In other words do we know their upper limit for collateral damage, are they prepared to just level the entire island and be done with it? ´Cause -and I’ll be frank- if they are then you guys are totally screwed… I have fought with and against tanks and while I am sure you guys have some cool guys and some kit I don’t know about nothing I have seen here even comes close to being able to beat a single MBT –that´s main battle tank for those who don’t speak MILSPEC- let alone a division or a full company.

In the following I will be assuming he worst case scenario and working under the assumption that they are willing to incur MASSIVE collateral and are after our extermination to the last man, including women, children, pets and stuffed animals.

Okay, i´ll tackle your points in the order you presented them,

You said that you have concluded that using docks to get the others students to safety would be no use, this is the only part of your plan I agree with you on. If an army wants to establish a beachhead you can assume they will, either by just parking a battle group off shore, shelling a beack into submission and then getting some landing crafts with tanks and infantry on a beach under heavy suppressive fire with close air support provided by an whatever airforce they have available. Or they can just drop an airborne division wherever they want on the island, since it is bigger then we can adequately defend.
One of these plans WILL be successful because they have more firepower then I have seen on this campus by orders of magnitude.

You then suggest stashing the students who can’t or wont fight in the school's basement which you say would be a great place to shelter. The scans I have of the schools sub terrainean areas would show they are capable of sheltering them from an assault that isn’t prepared to just use overwhelming force to break down the doors. Atma, would you please run the numbers on the use of 1000lb iron bombs against students in the basement? When they stop being sufficient switch to bunker busters but do inform us of the switch.” Said nova into her flipped open phone as she put an object the size of a broach on the table which spawned a hologram as a blue wireframe with a lightblue field where the walls are and yellow stick figures.

“I will assume a more or less uniform dispercement of the students in the basement and show you the best case scenario for the bombs dropping” Nova´s cellphone spoke on speaker “With the students being here and here” he spoke as the stick figures ran to their designated areas “and assuming only 4 iron bombs find their mark the casualty rate will be close to 100 percent” the phone continued as 4 little red bomb shapes appeared and crashed through the roof followed by bright orange shockwaves emanating from their impact points. “It makes no difference if the bombs penetrate the second basement floor since the physics remains the same, only then the floors will collapse and the shockwaves bouncing around will kill those unfortunate enough not to have been killed on impact.” If the students were housed in the lower floors then they will either be killed by bunker buster missles or suffocate/starve as the higher floors will collapse on them leaving them with no way out.” And as he talked through these options the little stick figures respawned for each new demonstration. “And if my math is correct, and I can assure you it is, this is a bad plan.”

Nova turned the hologram off, and continued speaking, “So having demonstrated that that would be a very poor defensive plan we come to the second problem of that point, If you are going to fight the government you will need everyone you can get, I don’t care if they are total pacefists or whatever logic they come up with, in my estimation you need to give everyone who CAN fight a gun and march them into the breach those who cannot or will not fight should tend the wounded and carry ammo and food/drink to those who can.”

To defeat the next point about the mage in the tower you need only to know that while you may get some ground troops this way a modern fighter jet is to fast and flies to high for you to engage them effectively in this way, you probably wont even see them let alone be able to shoot it down. And after the first wave your turret will be demolished either with guided missles from an aircraft, artillery or a counter sniper. Who ever goes up there is not coming down again. I once asked an airforce general how accurate those missles of theirs were, his response was a dead serious “Which window do you want it through?” I have seen pictures of missles landing dead center in the hole the missle fired a split second before made in the wall it was assigned to breach.

The forest point needs no elaboration except to point out that it is therefore probably the safest place on the island when the hammer comes down and we should concider retreating there.

If it was my attack and I had carte blanche I would just level the entire town with a MOABs or a bombing run from heavy bombers, precision not required going for maximum accuracy by saturation…

As for defending the castle they wont be coming here, in fact I envision the castle being toast within the first 15 minutes of fighting, god knows I’d be focussing a shitload of effort into getting it wasted ASAP and preferably with the maximum number of people inside.

Now for a few points you seem to have overlooked, how certain are we they don’t already have assets in place? I’d either get students/teachers sympathetic to the cause to plant bombs all over the town and campus so you can detonate those in the opening seconds of the engagement for maximum confusion, an age old tactic knows concurrently as “Shock and Awe”, if such people cannot be found, and I doubt that would be hard, -I have seen your wages and they are not generous- a team of special forces will do just as well. And before you all start pointing the finger at me, do you really think i´d be fixing your defence plan if I was bent? And why am i explaining this to a student anyways? Where is Krell?

OOC: If my R&D is accurate this is a 250 pound bomb which is pretty small for real work…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ml1_pVjHZv8

“Well, Ms. Nova. Allow me to be the first to say that you're officially over-thinking the entire thing.” Raistlin, still with the smug grin on his face, continued. “To put it simply, to hell with the boats, to hell with an evacuation. Keep everyone inside the school. When they come, have a select few people outside the gates holding them back. Give me 10 minutes, and I'll be sure they can't bother us anymore. By the time I'm done, Diaga will be shitting bricks, and we'll have a rather uplifting experience.” Raistlin chuckled, he already had everything worked out in his head.

OOC: I'mma do a latter here real quick.

Krego was studying in his book in peace when he heard an announcement. He was to be called to a meeting ASAP. This was unusual, but when duty calls, you answer. He headed down right away. Just the fact that classes were canceled revealed the severity of the situation.

Setting his research book down and grabbing his usual spellbook, he started off to the meeting. He had made it just in time for the briefing. What a situation. He did wonder how such facts had been concerned, but as requested, he would not question. Now Miss Nova had spoken up.

He had to speak up to this. "Actually Miss Nova, I have an old friend here teaching with me. He was the one who made me take up full magics. With just out two man team, we have been able to level entire islands on a day we were both feeling very lax. Perhaps you have heard of him? Professor Arukab Tragide? He is a weapon specialist, unmatched in defenses from what I have seen. Over 200 years of experience and never has he even been cut by a blade. In fact, my spells can make him even stronger. They call him the Silver Phantom for a reason." He began to think back on his old days.

He knew Arukab since he was a boy. "I don't think anybody here has seen me and Arukab work together, so nobody knows what we are capable of, but together, we can raise Hell just to put it back 5 times over again, and still have the energy for more. I'll take care of telling Arukab of the news."

The the Infamous member of the DisCom, Raistlin, spoke up to say Nova was over-thinking everything. Raistlin seemed a but odd in his words, but Oracio knew not to ask anything of him.

He then took his attention away from Nova. "I would like to request that me and Arukab take an aerial route to this, and when we see that the enemy is coming, we advance into them...Alone."

In Krego's mind, everything was already planned for their victory. Him and Arukab were a deadly tag team...They had a special combo move that needed the both of them to execute perfectly, but once complete, they would be unstoppable.

Joey began walking away with the words, "Take it easy."

"It looks you need to take it easier than me." he paused. He did have his own personal pain killers, but they weren't on him at the moment. " Joey..." He paused and got a bit nervous. That did of course count as drugs on school. "In the dorm, the bottom drawer of my night stand, it's my pants. At the bottom is a bottle of pain killers. Help yourself." It was just him being a friend. Ray was a very trusting person after all.

Taron:

"I am Taron Eltrac," he said, his voice already somewhat gone, lost in the river that bordered swordplay and magic. He deftly twirled the blade in his hand before coming at Arukab again. This time it was no feint. He went straight into his positioning for a magma scythe. As soon as he got close, Taron spun again, this time only to add additional force, had he used magic he would have combined his magma pillar magic for a second attack.

He kept up the attack, hoping to wear out his opponent. He kept a track of both his and Arukab's openings, perfect times to use his magic. His own style was...more artistic than his mothers, adding feints, flips and spins as a means not only to dodge but also to increase the potential damage.

Mishra:

"The DisCom leader is right," Mishra said, thoughtfully. "If Krell authorizes me to use some of the more... deadly techniques in my arsenal then their ground forces will find themselves, as our fearless leader said, shitting bricks." He laughed at the thought of that.

"I could probably find a way to take out the possible air troops as well. Get a catapult or some other long-range delivering device and we can throw things right into their midst. And then..." His voice lowered until he was muttering to himself, giggling intermittently.

“Well, the problem with Ms. Nova's theories, while the conjecture is fine, the main assumption is that they're going to be dropping bombs and using airplanes. While they could very well have the capabilities, they won't use them. They're a rival academy, they're going to want to take Eureka Academy down in a traditional war.” Raistlin was being cocky. He was 110% what he was saying was gold.

“For years we've been the bigger, better academy. Duaga has been the inferior academy that talentless hacks have been going to when Eureka turns them down. This 'attack' is nothing more than an ego fill testosterone battle to prove themselves better. They're going to want to take us down hand to hand. The only thing they have is numbers. Eureka has a strict acceptance policy. Whereas they don't. Meaning, they obviously have higher numbers. Each and everyone of their students, teachers, etc, are going to march right up to us and drag us into a long drawn out brawl.” Raistlin then smiled.

“And they'll receive it. However, it's going to be much shorter than expected. Mishra, you'll still get to make the enemy shit bricks. However, It's going to be short. I plan on making the academy fly.” Raistlin leaned back in the swivel chair and spun around, the huge grin on his face stretching ear to ear as he waited for their reply.

Stella listened to the teacher's conversations while tapping her foot furiously on the ground. Nobody was getting anything at all and Eliane, nor Zee were jumping in to save the day. It had looked like she would have to wrap things up herself.

“Eeehm, Yeah I have a few comments, concerns and question or two." began the strict teacher Stella ran into the day before.

She perked up her ears to listen to this teacher. "First, You say that this Diaga academy is plotting –with either active help or passive approval- by the government to attack this school. "

"I'll addes your first part by saying no. I only stated that we had proof that they will attack us. Matters concerning why are not able to become aquired at an instant. Although there was a hint concerning the powers of students at this school. My guess would be prejudice or sheer jealousy. How are we supposed to know what their objective is at the moment? We'll easy, we make an objective of our own. We set up our defenses until we figure out what's going on and only then can we make our move. You teaching in a combat academy should know the firsthand advantages and disadvantages of war Ms. Nova." Stella had made her point but continued to let the teacher speak on.

"In the following I will be assuming he worst case scenario and working under the assumption that they are willing to incur MASSIVE collateral and are after our extermination to the last man, including women, children, pets and stuffed animals."

"Lucky for me I left Mr. Teddy at home then." Stella spoke under her breath listening intently.

"Okay, i´ll tackle your points in the order you presented them,

You said that you have concluded that using docks to get the others students to safety would be no use, this is the only part of your plan I agree with you on. If an army wants to establish a beachhead you can assume they will, either by just parking a battle group off shore, shelling a beack into submission and then getting some landing crafts with tanks and infantry on a beach under heavy suppressive fire with close air support provided by an whatever airforce they have available. Or they can just drop an airborne division wherever they want on the island, since it is bigger then we can adequately defend.
One of these plans WILL be successful because they have more firepower then I have seen on this campus by orders of magnitude."

"Oh my..." Stella spoke softly at this worst case scenario. At least they were on the same page about something, but Stella had a burning feeling that Nova would include the other assumptions in that scenario. She figured that there could easily be charms or spells that could block firepower, even bombs.

"You then suggest stashing the students who can’t or wont fight in the school's basement which you say would be a great place to shelter. The scans I have of the schools sub terrainean areas would show they are capable of sheltering them from an assault that isn’t prepared to just use overwhelming force to break down the doors.”

Once again Stella saw the flaw and had to voice something. "The school's basement has moe than enough protection, but this is assuming they get into the school correct? Once solution to that could be we not let them in by any means. Please carry on." Stella said more eager to hear what could possibly happen.

It was now that Nova has shown a hologram at which Stella gazed. She knew now the flaw would be wide and gaping.

Stella was getting a headache, could none of them see it now? Could none of the teachers or students hear the missing component? "Not everyone prefers to fight with firepower. I'm not even sure if we can acquire that many guns." Stella pursed her lips to hear more.

"To defeat the next point about the mage in the tower you need only to know that while you may get some ground troops this way a modern fighter jet is to fast and flies to high for you to engage them effectively in this way, you probably wont even see them let alone be able to shoot it down. And after the first wave your turret will be demolished either with guided missles from an aircraft, artillery or a counter sniper. Who ever goes up there is not coming down again. I once asked an airforce general how accurate those missles of theirs were, his response was a dead serious “Which window do you want it through?” I have seen pictures of missles landing dead center in the hole the missle fired a split second before made in the wall it was assigned to breach."

This conversation had turned. Stella had smiled at the thought of a mage using a turret. It had placed a funny image in her head, although it was not the time for smiling.

"The forest point needs no elaboration except to point out that it is therefore probably the safest place on the island when the hammer comes down and we should concider retreating there."

"The forest has monsters that when alone can be deadly. I don't think that's a good idea... Solo troops could get hurt and our own warriors would get tired out from fighting battles with creatures in there, thus wasting time and energy, but I do admire your in depth analysis." Stella interrupted before quieting down once more.

If it was my attack and I had carte blanche I would just level the entire town with a MOABs or a bombing run from heavy bombers, precision not required going for maximum accuracy by saturation…

"As for defending the castle they wont be coming here, in fact I envision the castle being toast within the first 15 minutes of fighting, god knows I’d be focussing a shitload of effort into getting it wasted ASAP and preferably with the maximum number of people inside"

Stella scratched her head.

"Now for a few points you seem to have overlooked, how certain are we they don’t already have assets in place? I’d either get students/teachers sympathetic to the cause to plant bombs all over the town and campus so you can detonate those in the opening seconds of the engagement for maximum confusion, an age old tactic knows concurrently as “Shock and Awe”, if such people cannot be found, and I doubt that would be hard, -I have seen your wages and they are not generous- a team of special forces will do just as well. And before you all start pointing the finger at me, do you really think i´d be fixing your defence plan if I was bent? And why am i explaining this to a student anyways? Where is Krell?"

Stella felt once again brutally torn down by the new teacher Nova. The last remark had left her feeling cold and offended. "Well I'm most certainly not the only one overlooking things." She began before she snapped back into a thinking mode.

She began to pace towards Nova. "The bomb plan is scratched bcause we can easily hurt our own students and innocent civilians. In war it's chaos, and a majority of people here are just students, no doubt they would get blown up before the battle even began. Fixing our defence plan is not really needed, as I'll have to go one fixing your fixing until we get this straight."

Stella was now a foot away from the teacher looking her directly into the eyes "Now you are speaking to a 'student' because I am the face of every student currently attending this institution miss and it would be best if you not underestimate me as my power can easily match a teacher's, I'm only here to help run the school and get in some extra lessons so if you don't mind addressing me with at least an ouce of respect I would greatly appreciate it as Krell has personal business to attend to."

Now before Stella could begin to discuss the huge flaw, the other's had begun to speak up as well.

“Well, Ms. By the time I'm done, Diaga will be shitting bricks, and we'll have a rather uplifting experience.”

Stella couldn't help but to be put off by Raistlin's last sentence as his plan was not to be trusted in the mysterious manner of which it was told.

After this the magic teacher Oracio began to speak. "I would like to request that me and Arukab take an aerial route to this, and when we see that the enemy is coming, we advance into them...Alone."

Stella was even more confused. An arial route? "Unless you two are put into the towers and you can use your magics to target these planes they may/maynot have that would be helpful, but we do need powerful people to defend the lower grounds of the castle." Stella said.

She knew full well that the teachers didn't need permission to be stationed anywhere. In fact she knew that in battle teachers of EA could do whatever they please in case of an emergency.

After this statement, yet anoth had begun to speak and Stella let him go. "The DisCom leader is right," Mishra said, thoughtfully. "If Krell authorizes me to use some of the more... deadly techniques in my arsenal then their ground forces will find themselves, as our fearless leader said, shitting bricks."

Stella couldn't hlep to try and imagine and compare the pain of shitting bricks to what Mishra had in mind. It was at this moment that she had never realised what a mysterious yet diverse staff EA had.

"I could probably find a way to take out the possible air troops as well. Get a catapult or some other long-range delivering device and we can throw things right into their midst. And then..."

"Sounds like a plan..." Stella said. " I would like you to be on the grounds if it's okay? You seem confident and with a catapult, the job would be finished in no time."

“Well, the problem with Ms. Nova's theories, while the conjecture is fine, the main assumption is that they're going to be dropping bombs and using airplanes. While they could very well have the capabilities, they won't use them. They're a rival academy, they're going to want to take Eureka Academy down in a traditional war.”

Stella wanted to scream. That wasn't the only obvious point that people seemed to be missing.

Each and everyone of their students, teachers, etc, are going to march right up to us and drag us into a long drawn out brawl.

Stella could see that this assumption while it would be fair would not be completely correct. As far as she knew, Diaga never played fair, and in any war the opposing sides would do anything to win. What was what her older brother had told her once before he went to war. This battle was now on her and the Marx familiy reputation was at stake.

“And they'll receive it. However, it's going to be much shorter than expected. Mishra, you'll still get to make the enemy shit bricks. However, It's going to be short. I plan on making the academy fly.”

Stella knew now that the Discom leader had gone crazy. She had dismissed it, as a joke. There was no way a giant castle could be lifted into the sky, and in the middle of a war no less?! "Haha" she said in a sarcastic tone cutting off all who would speak before her. She would now address the main issue.

"Ms. Nova, I'm suprised you of all people didn't see it before. The reason we may be in this, the reason we can easily take down a bunch of machines: magic. There are more than enough of us at this school who posses some kind of supernatural ability. haven't any of you noticed that Diaga doesn't have these abilities? Nor would the military. Of course the longer I think about it, it would make sense for the government to co-operate. Wouldn't you be scared if a school with students of superior abilities to yours was just sitting there waiting to take over. My conclusion is that the government is afraid whils Diaga is probably in it for their own cocky deeds as Raistlin said. It's not us who has the disadvantage here: it's them. A plane in the sky can't see an invisible barrier that is set up in front of it. a bullet can't peirce a protective charm. A tank can't shake off telekenisis that lifts it into the sky to hurtle it towards the sea. We are the superpowere here don't you see?"

Haha,” was all Stella, the Student Council leader had to say about his plan. Raistlin wasn't amused. Not in the slightest. That was it? ...That bitch. “I wouldn't take my plan too lightly if I were you. I'm more than capable of doing it. I have the tools and the materials necessary to making this academy fly.” Raistlin looked her dead in the eyes. “I'm one of the greatest Mages on the face of the planet. Don't you dare assume that I've lost my mind.” Obviously, Raistlin's ego had been brought out.

Raistlin opened his bag and pulled out the Ouroboros, holding it in his hand above the table. “This is the Ouroboros. I showed it to Krell earlier today. It took me proximately 3 hours to figure out what it says, what the book it came with said, and what it's capable of. Think of it as an energy source. Once I power this thing, I can use it to do anything... Including making a school float.”

Placing the Ouroboros back in the bag, he then said, “Even if you don't believe me. Approximately ten minutes after the battle starts, I'm lifting the academy. If I were you, I would either be on board, or get left behind.”

Mishra:

Mishra's rambling had blocked off his mind to the others. Stricken with an idea, he pulled out his Alchemist's Blade and started experimenting, enlarging the globes so he could observe the events inside. His earlier lecture had had some influence on this. As of yet it was simply a blinding powder though it was compressed; in reality the cloud could cover the entire island.

But now Mishra had been tinkering with it and had swapped out the main ingrediants for a combination of three more. Now instaed of being a black cloud it was white but it also had an interesting property - it could dissolve and be absorbed. While normally not even int he slightest bit helpful in a fight, a few more solutions turned it deadly. Now it would be absorbed into the body and eat away at them from the inside.

A simple trick turned deadly. He laughed at the finished product, spinning it around in his hands like it was a toy. And for him it was, at least, until it slipped out of his hands. It fell to the ground like a bomb, and so it was, easily able to wipe out at the very least everyone in the room. It stopped 3 inches from the ground. Mishra's tail phased in, curled around the globe.

The momentary terror of losing his work had shocked him from his thoughts. He just managed to hear Raistlin's final words about making the school float. "We're going to float away? Just like I do?" He grinned. "Does this mean I can incinerate them all below me? Don't tell me we're going to phase out too. That's my thing." His face now took on a shape of indignation at the very thought that someone could copy him.

"In theory, yes, just like you do. The Ouroboros allows me to insert the power it needs to generate, then amplifies it tenfold. Meaning, instead of just levitating one human body, or a few large rocks, I can levitate the island. Using my magic, I could fly the academy anywhere we wanted." Raistlin then smiled as he said, "After we make our get away, and destroy a few of their students, we could outfit the island with cannons and whatnot. All of which would be controlled through me using the Ouroboros." In a fit of determination, Raistlin made it clear, "It can be done, it will be done, and I'll be the one to do it."

After listening to ideas and, to Eliane's belief, a few half-baked schemes, she finally heard enough after listening to Stella and Rastlin (the two she put the most focus on). She found it hard to trust in the judgment of most people, and Rastlin was one of them. But the fact that he held on to an artifact, this 'Ouroburos,' of which he spoke, she just had to ask, "Have you figured out how to power it, or how long that power would last?" Admittedly she was interested at what it was capable of, but she knew better than to pin her hopes on such a thing.

"Besides, even if your idea to make the academy 'fly' works, in the event that it doesn't, we will need to have other plans and strategies." Turning to Stella, "With all due respect, Stella. I know, we must defend the students, they take top priority above all else, but we need to look into all paths to achieve a full success with minimal casualties. Now, I agree with you, I'm just as skeptical about Rastlin's plan as you are, but we need to view any possible strategies, Eureka if I remember correctly, is not just about honing our unique abilities, but also to think "outside the box."

Something tells her that she will have to come up with her own plan for the school's defense. For that, she'll need to go to the one thing she'll need. A Map of the Overall view of the school.

“I know how to power it,” Raistlin replied. “The power supply is vast, and it won't run out... Unless I die.” Raistlin paused for a moment, but eventually continued. “You guys can go on and make your plans. In fact, you'll have the full power of the DisCom at your side. However, I'm 100% sure my plan will work. It's more than okay to be skeptical, but trust me when I say there is no need. I will not fail.”
