Grensen

Crystal smiled at her, the first anyone had seen, revealing straight, white teeth.

"I would be honored to speak with you, Kelip. Like I said, it's been long since I've spoken to a fairy. How fares the feyfolk?"

Teos knew what was going to be said.

Kelip looked down, and started. "I don't know I was casted out, I wasn't suited they said. I was too free spirited, or whatever they stated, I wasn't the right type for their community. I tried to live alone, but it was not for me."
She looked back to Crystal.

"One day, as I was searching for food. I was attacked my an eagle, barely escaped, and was eventually saved by Teos" she looked happier when that thought came.
"So, I cant say for sure what they are doing"

Suddenly, her expression changed, to an overly happy one.
"now I'm with Teos, and that is more then I could have wished"

This only explained somewhat why she where casted out.
She was her own master, and she didn't seem like one that took orders.
so, the reason must have been the lack of being submissive in the community she came from.

Hill remembers that he had to check out if there are any survivors of his gang. So he said to three, actually four of them including the fairy...

Hill: ''Well, I would like to say and chat with you gu...(looks at Crystal)...people, but I have to check if any of my chuckle heads are still alive. So, later folks.''

The gang leader turns around and walks towards the center of the city.

Crystal nodded in sympathy with the fairy's words. She was plagued by the same problem. One drunkent man had made the mistake of trying to goad her into a fight, probably to try and 'easily' put down such a formidable looking woman. The steps he took to her seat at the bar were the last in his lifetime.

"I understand entirely, Kelip." She tried to move on to less grim matters by changing the subject. "I've heard tell that the dryads are becoming rather militant in the east. Is this true?"

OOC: For future reference, Kelip is pronounced: Keh-lipp.
------------------------

Kelip thinks for a few seconds, before replying.
"I remember the dryads saying something about an upcoming war, between life, and death. They where preparing for it, in some way."
she starts to think again. Before it seems as if she just realized something.
"Now that I think of it. This war, that just started today, My people have known about it for decades"

Just as she completed her sentence, Teos looks at her with death in his eyes.
"Kelip. why didn't you warn me" He says, in a 'you're doomed' type voice.

Kelip darts into his ponytail again, and shouts from inside the hood.
"I'm sorry, I didn't think about it"
Teos sighs, before replying;
"Well. the damage is done, there isn't anything we can do about it now." in a lighter, more 'normal' tone.

"You can't blame her. It is not their way to dwell on ill news," Crystal says to Teos, but she looked sympathetic.

"However, I do find their timing extordinarily bad as well." She gave him a small smile.

"yea, she tends to do that" Teos sighed.

"so" Kelip started, as e turned towards Crystal.
"where did you meet my people first?"

"I met your people in the woods of course. In the east, where I had a long, hard job hunting down some Crafted. I was hopelessly lost and I stumbled across some fairies. I've known them well ever since. Though I must admit, I haven't spoken to any fairies for some time now...."

Hill got to the center and there he spots two of the gang members of his gang. He approached them and says...

Hill: ''Hey...''

He was interrupted by gang members turning towards him and unsheathing spiky clubs from their back. But as they saw Hill they immediately sheathed their clubs and the one of them, that was muscular and had mustaches (Boznar), says...

Boznar: ''Sorry boss, we thought you were another one of those demons.''

Hill: ''No need to apology. But tell me where is the rest of the gang?''

The other gang member, skinnier then Boznar and had no mustaches and was bald (Fred), cleans his face with hand of sweat and says...

Fred: ''Well, all we know is when those demons attacked we immediately retreated to the nearby Inn. There was too many of them to fight so we retreated.''

Boznar: ''Thats right boss.''

Hill thought about the moments when the 'shadow ones' appeared. people got killed, some where sacrificing themselves. Then he thought about the old scholar, elemental amulets and other people that were there.

Hill: ''You two, go back to Inn and tell everyone to go to their homes and say to innkeeper to ready five rooms.''

Boznar and Fred looked at Hill with confused faces. Fred then asks...

Fred: ''Five? Why five?''

Hill: ''One for me and other four for guests that might come to stay the night.''

The two gang members looked each other and then they nod to Hill, and they went to Inn swiftly. Hill looks at direction where he met Teos, Zaiku, Crystal and Celen. Then he heads to the Inn.

"Aww" Kelip stated. she was curious as well about her people.

"you don't look like the type to get lost" Teos interrupted wit ha smirk

Crystal grimaced at Teos' words. "It was a very old wood, and the nymphs didn't want me there. They cast some sort of illusion spell so I couldn't find my way out. I happened to run into some faries, and they led me out. Truly a wonderful people, when you get to know them."

"oh, that explains it " Teos smiled. almost like an ironical smile.

"And I know" Teos started "I don't regret getting to know Kelip eighter" he smiles.
After all, she had been a good friend in the late. As well as an extra source of income.

Teos looked to the moon, which was now completly black, only giving out a weak aura of dim light. The only proof that is was there.

"now what?"

"Wicked sick man!" Ace had exclaimed in an astonished whisper that no-one could really hear, he had found the fairy fascinating, to say the least. After a conversation between Crystal, Teos and Kelip had taken place and Hill had left, Teos had asked:

"now what?"

Ace was wondering to himself the same question.

"Well," Ace began, "I suppose we got a responsibility, don't we? If it's up to us to save the world, then that's what we gotta do, it'll be the right thing to do." Ace paused agin, "Plus, we can kick some butt along the way, see the awesome scenery of nature that comes our way, and if we're lucky, we'll get to visit Sineffo, home of Sineffo beer."

Ace put his hand with the claw on it in the between the space between him and the others, hoping they would put their's in too.

"Who's up for adventure?"

"Responsibility, eh." Teos mumbled.
"Well. it have been some time since I las had anything to call an adventure" He smiled at Kelip, which smiled back, and nodded.

Teos looked towards Crystal.
"Though, were missing 2 of the members" Teos smiled, and turned back to Ace.
"I guess I'm in as well" Teos replied, as he slapped his hand on Ace's

Crystal thought for a while. This wasn't really her thing. She wasn't the type that randomly went off on 'adventures' just for shits and giggles.

yet.... This was a dilemma she couldn't handle alone. She was strong, but she was no fool.

"I'll join, I suppose. I didn't become this powerful to become to ignorant to know when to use it."

Teos Removes his hand. and Things.
He had just, for the first time, gained companions. Officially that is. And not counting the summons.

This was good, they should decide where to head off.

By an accident, Teos bumped into his purse, and checked it.
4 silver pieces. That sucked.
Kelip noted this. and whispered to Teos
"You used most for more bullets, remember"

This was true, and Teos had forgotten it.
He should get a sword, a short one, later on. it is cheaper in use.

He tuned to Ace.
"You don't happen to be very rich, do you?"
He scratched the back of his head, shaking Kelip somewhat.
"I'm sorta short on money.

Ace was rather caught off guard by the question, mainly because he hadn't actually stopped to check it in a while.

"Uh, well." Ace began sheepishly,

He was searching through the storage space in his pants, he could find one gold piece, 2 silver coins and a button, which he must've mistaken for a coin at some stage.

"I'm low on the dough," Ace sadly stated, which was followed by a brief sigh. His demeanor had reverted to his usual, optimistic, go-lucky self. "Then we'll just have to find a way to roll in the green stuff, well, gold stuff."

Teos let out a sigh.
Crystal might have money, since she mentioned something about it.
yet, they couldn't mooch off her.
People had begun to crowd the town again, now that it was safe.

Teos bit it in, and called on a random pedestrian.
"You there" he said, while pointing on him.
"Whom me?" he replied confused.
"yes, what is the fastest way of earning money here?" Teos stated, feeling somewhat embarrassed.
He and his companions, just took down a small army, yet, they had to work for money.

The person, seeming to be a normal peasant. thought for a sec, then replied:
"The arena must be the best choice, if you survive, the reward is quite handsome" He smiles.
"It is located on the other side of town, just follow that street" he explains, as he points to a street.

Teos thanks the man, an thinks about it for a sec.
Then he turns to Ace, which seemed to already have the same idea.

"what do you say dude? Feel like going mad in the arena tonight" He said with a wicked smile.

OOC: We don't expect you other RPers to follow, but do not worry, you will get a chance to go to the arena later.

IC:"what do you say dude? Feel like going mad in the arena tonight"

A wry smile crossed Ace's lips, he let out a slight chuckle,

"Getting paid to fight, life just get's better and better," Ace had whispered this to himself, his mellow voice soon became a loud firm one, and his slight smile become a beaming grin of excitement, "You can bet on it! We're gonna unleash a big heaping helping of ownage!"

He soon turned towards Crystal,
"Sorry to walk out on you, but money makes the world go round, and currently, my world is not going round," Ace had stated this half appologetically, half sheepishly, "If Hill comes back, just tell him where we are, thanks."

Without looking back, Ace swiftly darted off towards the arena which was visible in the distance, with his goal in mind, he wouldn't stop for anything.

"Um, what is O*"

Before Teos could complete. Ace had run off in a state of excitement that HAD to be fatal.
He really wanted to know what Ownage was. However, this did not change the fact, that ace ran off.

"Yeah, sorry" Teos smiles to Crystal, as he started to follow Ace.

After a minute or so running after Ace, Teos arrived at the arena, which was packed with people, as well as an exited Ace.

"So. should we sign up" Teos said to Ace.
Teos doubted that ace was in any state to talk to anyone in this state.

Teos entered, Ace following, over to the person that handled the registration. Which was an elderly man in this case.

"umm, what is the pay if we win" Teos asked the man.
He looked at them, and laughed.
"good choice of words, young man. I take it a 2 member team"
"yes, myself and him" Teos replied, as he pointed to Ace.
"Well. a 2 member team, you will each have a 1 on 1, then a 2 on 2. IF you win everything, you get 500 gold pieces"
"This is a good deal" Teos replied "Where do we sign up"
The man chuckled. "Here, take this. You have to decide who you go against in the 1 on 1. the 2 on 2 is preset" He stated, as he handed over a piece of paper. A List
Teos took the list, and went over to a table, an looked over the list.

"So" he started to Ace. "Who will you take?"
He looks longer down. and grins.
"Ill take the White tiger. Im good with animals" Teos states.
