Last Movie You've Seen

Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

I'd been wanting to see this for a year now and never had the opportunity to watch it until tonight. It was well worth it! Ben Barnes completely stole the spotlight as Prince Caspian and loved seeing his heartfelt kiss with Susan at the very end. I'm not sure if it was on par with The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, but it was definitely good enough to keep me on the edge of my seat for over two hours.

9/10

Movie: The Simpsons Movie

Rating: M

Comments: Hadn't watched this for a while until tonight.

It's awesome. XD I love Spider Pig. XD

It renewed my love once more watching this movie and I've decided to go and buy every single season. I think there's like 20 or something now.

But yeah, pretty much Homer dooms Springfield to live in a dome and then he and the family escape and rebuild their lives and then go back to save their friends.

The movie is great though. XD

Score: 5/5 stars or 10/10 points.

Up 10/10

Omg, it's well good, I wasnt expecting it to be as good as it 2was, I thought it was brillaint, and really rather sad as well, I was wellll trying to make myself not cry because I was at the mothers and I would have just got loads of stick ahahah. It IS realy good though, I was laughing my head off at teh dog with the helium voice xD

Movie: Thirteen

Rating: M

Comments: I've always loved this movie.

The only thing I don't like about it is that they film it with someone walking around with a camera. It's all over the place and is sometimes hard to watch.

I like the idea of it all.

It focuses on the life of a 13 year old girl who goes off the rails and pretty much shows everything that can happen during a teenagers life when they're depressed etc.

The main girl Tracy, is a really good girl and then decides that she wants to be popular and gets involved in the wrong crowd etc.

Score: 5/5 stars or 10/10 points.

Harry Potter and Half Blood Prince

I liked this movie even though, i''m not a big fan of the books.

Though they could've done more with it i think, some scenes were way different from the book. Not that i'm complaining much, I'm just waiting to see how the last movie will turn out.

I give it a 9 out of 10

I'm gonna watch it again, i need to see which parts i didn't like. I can't really remember when exactly they took place. I'll edit this post soon.

Movie: Nemo

Rating: G

Comments: Don't know if I've already posted about this one recently but I watched it again. XD

It's such a fantastic movie!

I love all the colours of the Great Barrier Reef and the fish are just so pretty. 0_0

Every time we watch it, Steve wants to buy more fish. XD

Anyway, brilliant story. I loved the Aussie voice actors, though it would have been better if Dori, Marlin and Nemo had Aussie accents, instead of American ones. It sounded really off, considering it was meant to be an Aussie film.

Other than that brilliant! Loved Bruce the shark too. XD

Score: 5/5 stars or 10/10 points.

Name: Paranormal Activity
Rating: R
Comments: The movie was alright, I was able to sit through it but the whole scare factor wasn't as immediate as one would think it would be. I mean it left me with bad thoughts after I watched it & that's nothing special, I have an over reactive imagination and yeah. But in the end it was alright, the suspense was fine and the entire plot was simple and I'd say effective.
Score: 7/10

Movie: Over The Hedge

Rating: G

Comments: Funny movie. XD

I love Hammy and the possoms. XD

'You should have died! You should have laid down and died. " XD

Basically a raccoon named 'RJ' tries to steal a bears food while he hibernates. However he is caught and the food ends up getting run over by a truck.

RJ is given one week to collect the food again or he dies. >_<

He finds a group of animals in the forest which is surrounded by a new housing development and he tries to use them to help him collect all the things he needs to return to the bear.

Of course in the end he feels bad and doesn't want to hurt his new family etc.

But it's a brilliant movie. XD It's funny the whole way through and so entertaining!

Score: 5/5 stars or 10/10 points.

Michael Jackson's: This Is It

Personally I thought it was a very good film-come-documentary. I think you really start to view Jackson in a very different light when you watch him first hand rather than the press he gets. He's very hands on about what he does, and even though he's a perfectionist he's not a tosser about it and takes it one step at a time rather than right, do this, this and that or I want it perfect come whenever. The music was brilliant and it would have definitely have been his best performance, he even shot new videos as a background.

Even the dance moves are fantastic for rehearsals, I'd have love to have seen him going all out live. Brilliant, brilliant film and I think it's one that will put a different mind set into those who didn't like him.

The only thing that I didn't like was that there was no moon walk >.>

Movie: Paranormal Activity

All I can say is that was the most believable movie I have seen thus far. This will eff you up if you have a weak heart. It has a twist, but I will not reveal it but if you believe in it here's a spoiler:
demons
.

Anyway I am an avid fan of horror, but I've seen some of this stuff in this film occur.. so yea.. they hit it dead on.

Movie: Slumdog Millionaire

Rating: I'm not sure...

Comments:
Loved. Enjoying. Entertaining. Brilliant. Touching.

This movie's directing was what first caught my eye. It was different and something I had never seen before. I immediately loved the storyline and fell even more in love with the two characters Jamal and Latika. It was so romantic and so so touching. The way Jamal kept that strong devotion going for so many years for Latika was beautiful.

I really felt for Jamal the most, though. He had such a terrible life, with what his older brother would pull and being separated from Latika so many times and then to have to deal with people interrogating him for a game he won fair and square really made me feel sorry for him. He was going through so much to be with Latika...

But the ending of the movie... Goodness, the ending of that movie was bloody brilliant and so perfect. In the end Jamal got his happy ending. Which was perfect. A movie with such a great, beautiful ending is truly uplifting to see nowadays. It even made me clap at the ending. That's how great it was.
I really regret not being able to see this wonderful movie in theatres.

Score: For the acting, the story, script, directing, I'm gonna have to give Slumdog Millionaire a perfect score.

Whether that's a 5/5 or a 10/10, Slumdog Millionaire gets it.

Movie: The Last House On The Left

Rating: M

Comments: Ugh, this movie was just disturbing.

The killings were simply disgusting and the rape in this was just one of the worst I've ever seen in a movie. <_< I honestly didn't think it would have anything like that in this movie.

They ended up making the parents of the girl who was the victim, look like crazy psycho killers themselves in the end.

It just wasn't that well thought out really.

It was one of the most disturbing movies I have ever seen and definitely would not recommend it to anyone.

Score: 0/5 stars or 0/10 points.

It was quite a good animated movie. Not very long, but quite entertaining. I liked the idea behind it, a scientist
splitting his soul into 9 sackboy-like dolls as he knew the world was ending and needed to do his best to save it
.
Some of the machine creatures were pretty impressive... A hybrid of machine and animal / human bone. There was a cat-beast machine which used the real skull of a cat for its jaws and head, and the rest was machine... There was also a pretty freaky looking snake like machine creature, with a skull inside it and thread that it used to attach the sackboys to itself. Quite dark and quirky in the designs for these.

Good movie.

9/10.

Surrogates
Rated PG-13

I thought it was a nice and enjoyable movie overall. I really liked the setting and concept the movie had, but there were a couple of questions I had that wasn't explained in the movie... Which included the ending. In fact, the entire second half of the movie could've been much better. I'm just a really big fan of sci-fi, and seeing as how I haven't watched anything in forever, it was nice. Not great, and somewhat disappointing, but still enjoyable.

Score: 3/5

Ben X

Rating: Unrated I believe

Genre: Drama

I'm going to have to say this was an incredible movie. Filmed off a take on an autistic kid in high school, he was unaware of his condition but everyone thought he was different. In his eyes he saw most things through a video game POV. He was always the Knight while everyone else were characters from the game just about. At first people thought he was just silent, since he did very well with his grades. As the movie keeps going things get worse for the kid. People notice his quirks and point them out and then.. the ending is a kicker.

Then movie is a Belgian film, with English subtitles, so be aware of the reading. You'll love this.

Zeitgeist the Movie

I don't know if I can even call it a movie. I guess it would be appropriate to call it a documentary but I think even that is a stretch. It is more of an argument which criticizes the church, the US government and the banks. It's a whole lot of conspiratorial nonsense really. The movie itself is put together like a dodgy youtube video and was quite boring for the most part. I'll admit that I found some of the stuff on Christianity some what interesting, but even that was mostly stupid.

Movie: Bruno

Rating: M

Comments: OMG, what the hell was this movie on about! XD

It was pretty much about some gay guy trying to become famous and then realising that all the famous men were straight.

So he decided to become straight and then in the end he got with another guy and it was a bit graphic most of the time.

Eh, nothing too exciting.

Score: 3/5 stars or 5/10 points.

Penelope

Such a beautiful film, Christina Ricci and James McAvoy were superb in the lead roles. I hadn't seen anything good for a while and this was the definite one that put a smile on my face by the ending. I hear it didn't do good at the box office in some places, but that's probably because people don't like cliched happy endings. But I'll gladly take it any day!

9/10

Movie: Bee Movie

Rating: G

Comments: I love this movie!

It was so funny! I loved Vanessa the human when she found out that the bee was talking to her. XD

OMG that guy off Family Guy Joe's voice actor was in it too! I love it when he gets angry! It's so effing hilarious. XD

Basically it was about one bee who didn't want to conform, he gets talking to a human and then finds out that humans are stealing their honey and takes them to court over it.

Score: 5/5 stars or 10/10 points.

Movie: 9

Rating: 12a

Comments: Pretty weird animation, though I guess that's what all of Tim Burton's films are about - being weird. It was a very good animation though which you also expect from his films. It was refreshing to see a darker animation film since most are aimed at fairly young audiences, the plot was very good and the characters were likeable, my only grip would probably be the length of the film which I'd guess was 70 minutes at the very most. It was still worth the money anyway.

Score: 4.5/5 stars or 9/10 points.
