Lost

The only other thing that really made me think that was when
Juliet was dying, she said the A-bomb plan "had worked," which made me wonder if dying on the island enabled her to somehow pop into existence in the flash sideways world
. But this seems pretty iffy now that I think of it.

Yeah I think Juliet probably saw
flashes of the sideways timeline as she died and worked out that it was another life to the one she had, and that that therefore must mean the the bomb worked and they had changed history
.

That was pretty funny :) And I'm guessing Charlotte probably worked in the museum they were talking about as well :P
I'm guessing so since
she is an archaeologist, and because this timeline is linking everyone together
. I also noticed Pierre Chang... Except he
didn't look as old as he should have been considering he'd be 30 years older than he was when we last saw him
... Maybe in this
timeline he was born later, but that seems quite improbable
. It might just be that he is intended to
be older but he just didn't look it in that scene to me. I guess he could have been made to look older though, but they just didn't make any obvious changes to his appearance
.

Something else has been on my mind recently.... What about Bernard, Rose and Vincent? We saw them
living peacefully on the island towards the end of Season 5 I think and they wanted to be alone from all of the action
. Somehow I doubt they can keep that up as far too much is going on on the island right now and someone is going likely to want something to do with them at some point.

Well Im in the process of watching Lost series 2. Im only on second episode, but I still love it.
Theyve blown the hatch and found Jack's mate inside. And at the mo, its Walts dads flashbacks. I love him and his passion to get Walt back.

Yay, another fan :yay: Season 2 is very good, hope you like it ^_^ I think it might actually have been my favorite, though some of my favorite episodes have been recent ones.

I liked watching that part too. He seems like a very caring dad.

Well Im on episode 12 of series 2. AND MAN OH FREAKING MAN!!! Its getting insane now. Im losing love for Charlie cause he lied to Claire and has his sneaky coke stash. Michael has gone looking for Walt and Jack has encountered the Others now. And basically wants to build and army ... WHAT THE HELL!!!???

Lost is an amazing show. Can't wait for the finale.

[Mod Edit: Can you please elaborate more on your posts in post count sections please. One liners are usually regarded as spam and may be deleted next time. Thanks.]

Waaaahhh, it's going to be over in just a few weeks  I want to know what happens but I am disappointed that we might not get as satisfying an ending as I'd hoped--they probably don't have time to give everyone a proper individual personal resolution now and I had been hoping they would.

EDIT: AMG, the most recent episode 6.14 :gonk:

- despite displaying one of its most irritating flaws near the start (oh look, all the pointless extras are dead or have run away, how convenient!) the middle section was almost unbearably tense. I loved the bag switch by fake Locke and his 'I wouldn't want to be on that sub!' line.

Why Sun? Why couldn't they have taken Kate instead
sad.gif
- I thought she or Jin would die, but I didn't think they'd kill both off. And Sayid and Frank gone too. Brutal stuff, I can't wait to see how this endgame plays out now with Fake Locke and Whidmore and the remaining characters.

TBH I am
not a huge fan of Kate, she's probably my least favorite character so I would've been much happier if they'd taken her than Sun and Jin. I would've been :rage: if only one of Sun and Jin had died and not both of them though, that would've been wrong to separate them again after all they'd been through, and I knew whichever one had been free to go would never have left the other one :)

It pissed me off a little that
no one said anything about Frank being gone :jtc: He may not have been one of their original group but he was still a nice person. And I sure as heck liked him better than Kate >_> But who knows now--she and Sawyer might both die in the next episode from those wounds, and then there will only be Jack and Hurley left as the "candidates." I was thinking maybe they'll just kill everyone on the island and have the flash sideways universe become their new reality, but then they'd have to kill off Ben (nooooo :gonk:), Richard, and Desmond as well :hmmm: So they might not do that. (BTW no, I don't believe for one second that Desmond is dead. IMO Sayid would never be happy if he had to tell Nadia that he killed someone in cold blood in order to be with her, and that was the last thing we saw Desmond say to him)

...Which reminds me--favorite line from that episode:
Fake Locke: "What took you so long?"
Sayid: "I just shot an unarmed man. I needed a moment." xD

It was a shock to see so many main characters
die
in a single episode.

I think Sayid had a
fitting death though... Sacrificing himself in order to save the rest of them (though not quite succeeding
:rage:). I was worried that Sayid had been lost
entirely to "the sickness", but he seemed to redeem
himself towards the end.

It was sad to see
Sun and Jin die, though I guess it was a fitting end for them too as they got to be together. I'm a bit disappointed that we'll never know who the Kwon candidate
was though.

As for Lapidus... It hadn't really hit me that
he had died too, though I guess since he didn't surface that he did. :rage: That sucks... That was not a fitting way for him to go. We barely got to know his role in things, and he was always quite an awesome character in my opinion. I hope that he's not actually dead (since we didn't see it I don't think), and that he did manage to get out
.

TBH, I can't think of a better way for
it to have happened, if he had to die. It was in true Sayid form rather than zombie Sayid, and I'd missed seeing the real Sayid the past few episodes :sad3: So many characters have gone though, I feel like they will probably find some way to do another "reset," maybe something that will be triggered by Desmond's resistance to electromagnetism.

I was thinking about that, and I was wondering if maybe the purpose of
them not knowing which Kwon it was was supposed to be symbolic of their togetherness. If one of them had been the candidate and the other hadn't, it might have created some sort of unusual feeling of separation between them, even if their love for each other didn't change :hmmm:

Yeah, I really
liked him a lot too :sad3: But I had a feeling, as soon as I realized they would not be taking the plane to get off the island, that the writers would say "Oh, there's no use for him anymore" and then this would happen; they'd killed off pretty much everyone else who was not a major character at that point, even Ilana.
By the way...Where on earth is
Miles
? I don't even remember
the last time I saw him
:hmmm:

Miles is with Richard and Ben, who all decided it was no use negotiating with Fake Locke - they were probably right! As for Frank, I have heard rumours that he isn't dead, and will be seen back on the island. No idea how true that is though. If he does survive, does that make him the new Mikhail? XD

Well it only took them six years and six seasons but in the latest episode they finally answered one of the questions from season one (that I completely forgot about).

This weeks episode was decent.
It reminded me of the one about Richard from a few weeks ago. However it kind of raised more questions than it answered, like who was Jacob's 'mother' and why did she kidnap Jacob and his brother? What is the light? Who were the people who Jacob's brother joined?

On the other hand I thought it was cool to see how Jacob's brother became the smoke monster. But one thing that has been bothering me for a little while is that we haven't learned the name of Jacob's brother yet. It's kind of annoying how the writers are treating such a trivial thing like it's the show's biggest secret.

Yeah... I thought we were going to learn it in this episode. I kept an ear out for them to say his name in the episode, but they never did. :sad2:

I'm a bit worried now about how much will not be revealed by the end of it.... There's only three episodes left! :O

I'm pleased with tonight's episode though. I always wanted to know more about
Jacob and the Smoke Monster
, but also about the
ancient cultures
that have also been on the island.

Yeah, I'd really be interested to know what the
first culture was that existed there
:hmmm: We may never know though.

I really liked this new episode, it makes you kind of reevaluate the definitions of good and evil in a way :hmmm: For example,
one could say Jacob was bad for wanting to stay with his fake mother while knowing she had killed their real mother, but at the same time it shows how forgiving he can be. And then you could say the brother was bad for wanting to leave the island against her wishes, and living amongst corrupt people in order to get his way, but at the same time maybe you can't blame him for being curious either.
Really interesting stuff :awesome:

Yeah me too. Thank god it's a double episode because the writers have an awful lot of explaining to do. The most recent episode was pretty decent
it was good to see Jacob in a semi-alive state again.

I'm glad that we all get the finale at the same time. A big worry was that once people learn the ending then everything will be spoiler crazy, people will shout out the ending and post it everywhere and spoil it for those elsewhere in the world.

I'll have to record it, as it is 5am or something silly here, but I'll watch it on the Monday. Can't wait now. :O

If you're expecting them to answer most questions, you're just going to end up frustrated frankly. They'll leave a lot of stuff ambiguous.

Yeah, they've all said now that not every question will be answered, but most of the main ones will.

Not all loose ends will be tied up. That sounds like a shame, but really we wouldn't expect most other shows to tie up EVERYTHING and there are often unanswered questions, so it is probably unfair for us to expect that Lost (a show which makes us ask several questions every episode) could possibly cover everything within the last few hours. If they attempted it then it would just end up as a car crash and everything would seem forced down our throats.
