Cheif Tallock stood with his troops. They had already claimed victory over one kingdom. Now there was only one more to take for themselves. The Thelmacain kingdom was falling, and fast. He stood holding an axe, it was rather large and it had been stained with the blood of Thelmacain soldiers. Seliothe was now in possession of the demons. It's rulers Ruelda Thelma and Seliase Thelma were now dead, lying in the remains of the castle.

Cheif Tallock smiled, for the night was rich with accomplishments. The army of the demons had already now gone to take the Salinthime kingdom next. He could see the young Agima woman Rune walking up to him in a hasty manner. "Have you herd the good news? This town Seliothe is now in possession of us Demons and Agima alike." the chief smiled as Rune approached.

(OOC: Yes the guards can be controlled by you Tipsy. Reyu is always available for you to freely control. Just don't kill her off and you're good lol.)

To hell with it. Here is the deal. I will go and distract them. Seeing my rank as a Major General should vastly outrank him, i think i can command their attention as much as possible. During that time, snag a boat from the far end of where i am and sail off silently to a small beach about 2 km down the East coast. Hide out there and i will meet you there with Althea. I will make a show of leaving to the west.

"Right!" Reyu spoke in assurance.

As much as she would have liked an exciting bloody battle as of now, she knew that the two of them could not solely fight off all of the Thelma armies. Once Althea and Remus had left her she spotted a boat by the docks of Ale. She could see it clearly, even with only the moonlight to navigate Reyu could see her way to the docks. At once the gripped her nunchaku and with light feet jogged towards a path to the docks.

The girl had made sure to keep close to buildings so as to not be easily spotted in moonlight. She cautiously approached the docks, feeling the wood beneath her feet creak with each step. There was nobody outside, but she needed to make sure that she wouldn't be caught. She climbed inside the boat she eyed once she had reached it's location. It was small enough to fit about three people her size. Looking back at the dark buildings wondering she would see Remus going out to join her, but she remembered his precise instructions.

Reyu pushed away from the docks once she was ready, slowly sailing in the small boat down southwards to the beach Remus spoke of. The moonlight had shone on the water surrounding the small boat, but just a little. As Reyu turned her head to stare at the quiet village of Ale one last time she saw the figure of a person, a woman staring back at her. Her heart jumped but as she blinked, the woman was gone. It was all just a vision, created by fear and the shadows of this night.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The busy scientist Veska stood in her now empty laboratory. It's vastly high ceilings seemed to go upwards into nothingness. She stood clipped board in hand reviewing her notes when a presence had approached her from behind. Turning the woman had almost gasped at the sight. For Donovan Thelma stood before her but his body was both pale, rotten, and covered in blood that was not his own. He stood silently staring at her with a lustful look in his eye.

"Ah, You're not the King."

"Of course Ms. Veska," Donovan's corpse responded in a raspy voice. "But you know that don't you?"

The woman shuffled a bit in her lab coat. Her blonde curls hanging on both sides of her head had seemed to feel the presence of something far worse at hand. "Ah so it's you Emperor." Veska spoke with a deviant smile. "What brings you to Earoke?"

The woman shifted her glasses with her index finger in question. For some reason the King was dead, and for some reason his corpse had become animated in order to speak. Veska couldn't help but sense a magical presence in the air but she knew that if she could play her cards right, she could survive this encounter unlike the fools whose blood shined upon Donovan's corpse. "Ah so you are smart." Donovan smiled, his sullen expression on his face making the scratchy voice protruding from his mouth frightening. "I need something from you. More specifically the information of your current experiment."

Veska smiled. She was happy that the Thelmacain Emperor himself had taken such an interest in her work. "The soldiers are already begin tested. Unfortunately a few of the experiments from the earlier tests have not come back to report yet." She spoke.

"Ah I see... The serum you have provided does indeed give powerful strength." The moving corpse said. "But I'm curious as to including much more."

"Yes that's nice, but-"

"I would like a sample."

"H-huh?" Veska had been surprised by the demand but obeyed the request as she took out a small vial of green liquid.

The ugly corpses eyes watched her menacingly. She knew that if she spoke at the wrong time or rebelled that she would be dead. "It's not fully completed yet. I would need more time-"

"Hush" went the raspy voice as the corpse poured the contents of the vial into it's mouth.

Veska's eyes widened a bit but she said nothing. The effects of the potion in decaying flesh was something unseen by her. "hehehe-" Veska heard the corpse chuckle before she saw it disappear in a crowed of black flames.

This was something odd, but the woman could care less. She was now at least a bit respected by the Emperor himself. Hopefully one day the scientists wished that she could invent something major enough for the empire to write her name in history books. "That went smoothly." Veska uttered before hearing a light thumping noise at the other end of the laboratory.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

"We may have to split up and try to go through both. I'll go left."

Revilo nodded at Mary's decision. He had admired her for being so bold in a time like this. The fact that either of these women haven't quit on him yet made him proud to be their companions.

There may be something extra that i may seek around in this place. If Ms Mary have no particular goal in mind, I might suggest that you accompany Mr Revilo. I will head through the right whilst searching around fir my own agenda as well as yours. How about that?

"I think that seems fair." Revilo spoke. "Just...if anything happens you know where to find us."

This was odd for him. Two strong women, both attractive in their own right had felt stronger than Revilo felt he was at the moment. Without another word to her, the man pulled on the door to the left, entering cautiously. What he had found inside was a place that looked strange. It was a place with white marble floors and bright white lights coming from the ceiling. In the wide room large clear columns filled with green liquid and other objects stood humming in silence.

Revilo took out the book he had obtained from the library to flip through it. He saw no pictures that looked like what was in the room. "I don't suppose you know where this goes?" Revilo asked Mary before exploring the green columns of liquid.

So it would seem Rune would barely have the chance to see her message across – and for a good reason as well. Looking at the Chief Tallock’s expression of satisfaction, Rune found herself feeling the same way. This was indeed good news, if the armies actually triumphed over enemies that had knowledge of their impending arrival. It seemed that her plans weren’t completely tossed aside after all.

“Indeed! You have my agreements, Chief Tallock,” Rune remarked, smiling as the armies around them cheered, watching as the remaining Thelmacians moped about, under the direct supervision of their troops.

“Now, perhaps, we could weaken Earoke’s defences by calling in reinforcements from them, leaving their defences only at its bare minimum.”

"I think that seems fair. Just...if anything happens you know where to find us."

Mary nodded to what Revilo said to Akira. Although Mary appeared to look strong, in her mind she was trying to do her part to help her friend. Everything that has happened to her thus far was by ear, and in reality, she wasn't all that skilled in magic and she was afraid that it would not be enough for whatever monster they were probably hiding in the laboratories.

"Please be careful, Akira." Mary said as Revilo opened the door, allowing the two to pass through. Once inside, she saw a strange place, white marble floors and lights in the ceiling. This room made all the other castle in the Thelmacain Empire look primitive compared to here.

"I don't suppose you know where this goes?"

Mary looked at the pillars with the green liquid flowing upwards. "I don't really know for sure, but I do not want to stick around to find out. I think we should get moving." With that, Mary slowly walked down the hall, wary of anyone who would pass this way besides her and Revilo.

OOC: ZOMFG! WHEN DID WE EVER HAVE AN AMMY EMOTICON?! :Eric:

Akira

"I think that seems fair. Just...if anything happens you know where to find us."

"Please be careful, Akira."

Do not worry. I will hold myself with the utmost care and caution. We shall meet up as soon as i can.

Akira promptly open and walked into the right door. Akira was hoping for a file and document chamber. If this is indeed a research facility, then it would make sense that sensitive papers would be nearby the laboratories th
emselves as well as being deep in the heart of the structure for security. The door lead her into a corridor that skewed right once more at a 90 degree angle before leading to another door at the end. It was rather dimly lit, with low powered light spaced sparingly along its length. Akira's hand drifted towards the hilt of Jinchu. Tenchu was much too long for such narrow space. At the door, the girl planted her back against the wall and settled her heartbeat and attempt to catch noise from beyond the door. There was nothing and there was no ambient light coming from underneath. Ever so silently, Akira slid Jinchu from its sheath and eased the door open. It swung perfectly on its hinges, but it was perfectly dark besides a few dim lights here and there. The light switch tempted her sorely, but Akira could not risk turning it on and someone come in and see the light on. No. Instead, she lifted her palm and summoned a low heat flame to her side, giving off a dull yellow glow.

This should suffice right now....

Slowly, Akira made her way at the head of each aisle, making sure she was truly alone before she started investigating

Remus

Remus sat astride Althea, who was pawing uneasily at the ground. The poor guardsman he had intimidated had bolted to the Major inside the wharf office to inform him of the officer that had demanded his presence. Remus was lucky that it wasn't the Elite Guard's actually commander. If it was, then bluffing him would be much more difficult, given his ranking.

But no sane general would be out here at the boders at this hour without a good reason.... except for me...

From the office, the Major jogged out, his uniform disheveled here and there as if he just threw it on, which wasn't too surprising.

Ah, General! Major Stukov sir. You requested for me sir?

Normally, Remus wouldn't care too much about uniform and such as long as the people that cared didnt see it, but he was going to have to pounce on the poor Major. The bigger stir he caused here, the more eyes would turn over.

Major! What is with this disgraceful appearance?! You are an officer of the Elite Thelmaican Guards, not some rabble militiamen! Tidy yourself up!

Ah, Yes SIR!

As the Major fumbled around, Remus nudged Althea in the opposite direction of which Reyu was going to boat jack.

Major, i have a very important noble that may require crossing soon somewhere along this point. We do not know when they require crossing, but i need these ships reserved for them and my men that will be accompanying them.

Sir, do you mind me asking who it is Sir?

YOU, are not ranked high enough to know. Just make sure that the boats are here the next time i come by. If there is not enough for one trip, heads will roll. Let us inspect your ships Major, your finest.

Ye Yes sir! It is in the boat houses near the middle

Poor guy,,,, sorry for this Major.

That was ample enough time for Reyu to have gotten a boat. If she needed more time than that, then how she managed to survive up till now was a wonder. After a while, Remus decided it was time to leave

Well then... the boats are up to standard. I shall head West and rendezvous with my men. You shall expect us from that direction.

Spurring Althea, the bird galloped off into the west. There was still a whole hour till the time he had with Reyu and he would spend all that time to circle around.

(OOC: That emote does look new 0___0)

“Now, perhaps, we could weaken Earoke’s defences by calling in reinforcements from them, leaving their defences only at its bare minimum.”

The demon chief gazed at Rune with his yellow eyes. He took the time to think before pausing. "We do not have enough troops to secure yet another city on our own." He began. "Our village has been attacked and we demons must use our resources for ourselves."

The demon chief felt a sense of guilt in his heart. For his own troops weren't able to completely help the girl despite their alliance. "If are to take Earoke also we would need a day at least. Until then you can use a few of our troops here." he spoke. "You are a very powerful Agima. You can take care of most of the enemy yourself."

Tallock turned his head upwards to gaze at the sky. A faint cry of a flying creature came from miles away. The Daos were already on their side. He could tell that this battle was already won.

"I don't really know for sure, but I do not want to stick around to find out. I think we should get moving."

Revilo gave his head a nod. The woman was right, they shouldn't linger too long. With a few steps forward he found a row of file cabinets. Revilo quickly jolted toward them, scanning the front of each and every neatly tucked drawer which were aligned alphabetically. The rows of the drawers themselves stood almost as tall as he, being six feet high.

The drawers were going upward in the alphabet as Revilo looked over the rows and rows. He finally reached the rows with the H's. Walking and walking, counting backwards with each letter G...F...E...D...C! He had gotten closer to what he wanted for now! Revilo excitedly ran his finger along the drawers before stopping at one in particular named "Crystalius." He opened it in an instant but his expression changed to confusion once he had seen that there was only a small stack of papers.

The lighting easily spilled onto the papers. Revilo wanted there to be some sort of object awaiting him. He grabbed the papers and focused them in the light shining from above. From what he could read most of them were notes, facts about the Crystalius. He grabbed the papers to have for later and walked towards Mary. "I've only found notes. What about you?"

He awaited Mary's reply and turned his head at the sound of footsteps nearby. The room was well lit, and so the man could see that a woman with yellow blond hair braided in hoops on both sides of her head and a menacing stare behind round glasses. She held a clip board and wore a lab coat and heels. "It's nice to see that we have guests." she spoke.

Revilo readied his sword, waiting for the woman to strike. He couldn't help but hope that Mary would remember to keep her spells at the ready. The woman gazed down at her clip board. "Mr. Revilo Green, a wanted assassin and Ms. Mary Waltham the rebellious brat snooping around Earoke?" The scientist woman spoke slyly. "I'm shocked. Looking for something in particular?"

"I am Ms. Veska, the user of this laboratory and it seems that you have been snooping around my research." the woman spoke. "Don't think that the government doesn't keep track of all of your activities. We know all about you two."

Revilo was shocked. It seemed that this woman knew both of their names and their lifestyles. "Do you think your parents would be proud of you Mary? Their daughter following in their own traitorous footsteps?" Veska glared in Mary's direction. "You and your traitorous Magicked family posing as nobility among the Thelmacain kingdoms. Just give me a reason not to kill you." Veska spoke peering at her clipboard.

Revilo walked over as if to protect her. He shoved the Crystalius papers within his pocket, sloppily having one of the pages float towards Veska and rest gently before her feet. "What's this?" She asked peering at the sheet. "Ah I see. So you wish to obtain the power of a Crystalius."

"Tell me where it is." Revilo threatened, his Saksore pointing directly at the scientist woman's heart.

However the woman laughed. "She's long gone from here." Veska chuckled. "You didn't expect her to stay did you? She's currently residing in Idunblim."

"Wait." Revilo spoke going over her words in his head. "She?"

"Yes. The Crystalius is a girl. Didn't you read my research." Veska grumbled. "If you're going to steal it at least give it a good read first."

"What you mean a Crystalius is a person?" Revilo asked.

"What does it matter to you anyway?" Veska spoke flicking her wrist, revealing a metal like rod extending. "You two aren't going to escape from here alive. The Prince should be getting to Ms. Akira next door in a small while. I doubt you all will be able to leave with your lives." Veska spoke prodding the metal rod at a small contraption nearby.

A clicking sound could be heard and the scientists walked away casually into the back of the labs. "Let's go." Revilo spoke before hearing the hissing sound of the contraptions within the laboratory.

The gree columns were opening out and a bit of it's green contents began to float out like a thick mist covering the lab. "Look out." Revilo commanded watching with caution, a seriously confused expression etched onto his face.

From the contraptions emerged a being so beastly and mutated, a thing so foul and digusting, that Revilo could almost wretch at the mere sight of it. It stood ten feet tall and it was very obese with flesh sliding off of it's muscles and the head of the being looked as if a human being's face had been liquidized and eyes blackened and enlarged. As if one wasn't enough it seemed that there were more coming from the columns scattered throughout the lab.

The beats gave hideous shrieks of either pain or anger. One showed jagged teeth and came pounding towards them with it's drooping mouth skin wet with drool. Revilo couldn't find the words to express himself. All he could utter was"Mary..."

As Revilo looked through the filing cabinet, Mary checked through the papers scattered across the table, skimming through the words to find any mention of the Crystalius. But she was unlucky in that regard, instead the papers showed more recent experiments.

Revilo walked up towards Mary, a file folder containing papers under his arm, and said "I've only found notes. What about you?"

"Unfortunately, I have not found anything of the sort. Not even so much as a description as to what the Crystalius looks like."

After she said this, Mary heard footsteps coming from her right. Turn to the right, she looked at the blond-haired female scientist. Mary would have to rely on her skills as an archer and even more so her magic.

"It's nice to see that we have guests."

Seeing Revilo put his hand on his sword, Mary petitioned to do the same for her bow. Keeping her hand on her bow, and thinking of feelings of warmth, she listened in to what the woman had to say.

"Mr. Revilo Green, a wanted assassin and Ms. Mary Waltham the rebellious brat snooping around Earoke? I'm shocked. Looking for something in particular?"

"Wouldn't you like to know?" Mary snapped back in a stern voice, compared to the sly raspings of a middle-aged woman.

"I am Ms. Veska, the user of this laboratory and it seems that you have been snooping around my research. Don't think that the government doesn't keep track of all of your activities. We know all about you two."

Mary was surprised. She was always careful not to alert herself to the Thelmacain government. How could someone like her of all people now about her lifestyle, about her life. Her surprise and frustration turned to anger when Veska then decided to attack Mary with words. "Do you think your parents would be proud of you Mary? Their daughter following in their own traitorous footsteps? You and your traitorous Magicked family posing as nobility among the Thelmacain kingdoms. Just give me a reason not to kill you."

Mary pulled her bow and and pointed it at Veska from afar, her face flushed with fury. "SHUT UP!!!" Mary yelled, "You have some nerve talking about my family that way!! How dare you!!!" Mary would've went in to kill Veska up if it were not for Revilo guarding her. She was still angry, and tears started to fall from her face, as she didn't like people talking about her family in that manner. As Revilo put the folder in his pocket one paper fell out and it wound up in the scientist's hands.

"What's this? Ah I see. So you wish to obtain the power of a Crystalius."

As Revilo pointed his sword at the scientist, he demanded "Tell me where it is."

"She's long gone from here. You didn't expect her to stay did you? She's currently residing in Idunblim."

"Wait. She?"

"Yes. The Crystalius is a girl. Didn't you read my research. If you're going to steal it at least give it a good read first."

Mary was really irritated at the smug look that Veska was providing. She wished she could've just shut her up for good, but Mary wanted to know what she knows about her parents.

"What you mean a Crystalius is a person?"

"Just who is she, anyway?!" Mary asked. "And what do you know about my parents?!?"

"What does it matter to you anyway? You two aren't going to escape from here alive. The Prince should be getting to Ms. Akira next door in a small while. I doubt you all will be able to leave with your lives."

"Oh no, Akira!!!" Mary thought as she saw Veska prod at a lever, releasing a green mist from the liquid she had seen. It was almost the same as the mist that she saw back in the Demon village of Siard.

"Look out."

Mary saw monsters coming from everywhere, grotesque creatures, some looking to be formerly human. But all of them wicked creatures. Mary looked at Veska who was leaving the two to what she perceived to be her fate. Muttering under her breath, "She got away..."

"Mary..."

Mary looked at Revilo, she looked hurt mentally and emotionally, feelings of rage, sadness, regret and worry flooded her thoughts. Mary hoped that she would see Veska again. To make the scientist tell her what she knew about her parents. She said nothing to him, all that mattered now was to find Akira.

Pulling the string of her bow, the arrow tip was now charged not with fire, but with electricity. She let go of the bowstring and as the arrow crackled with electricity, the bolt found its intended target, releasing several hundreds of Volts of electricity through the monster. The monster went down with a thud as Mary pulled out another arrow for the next monster.

As much as Rune would have argued back, she would soon realize it's true. She didn't like the idea of putting her people on the front, especially since they're the magic wielding ones - they should be at the back. Nevertheless, she did know she had enough power to cripple the administration at Earoke's helm.

At least, well enough to take control of the city.

Yet it was true Earoke is the most technologically advanced amongst the Thelmacian kingdoms; if that was true, her magic would be finding some fierce high-tech weaponry. She could safely expect to lose some of her men.

Still, there was no place for weakness in front of her ally.

"Yes, I suppose the Demons can hold this city well enough. I'll leave some of my men, and take the best with me. Wait for my good news."

'Good news' indeed! Rune smiled and bowed respectfully before turning to organize her men. It didn't take long, which would have made Rune at least a bit happier if not for the fact that these men were likely to lose their lives.

"Sorry, my people."

"U-uh? Why, Lady Rune?"

"This mission won't be easy, even with all our combined powers. The enemy possess technology far beyond what we have faced."

"And even then, our loyalties lie with you. Our lives are yours, my Lady!"

"Thank you."

With reaffirmed confidence, she begins chanting the teleportation spell. She would first begin at the outskirts of Earoke, then sneak in through the walls with another spell from her researcher days. It wasn't the most stable spell, but she had little choice in this case - unless she wanted to take on an entire army herself.

OOC: Well, a short one so that the "Prince" can go and attack. Tho im having a mind blank as to who the prince is. Is it the dude that went nuts and slaughtered his harem? But i assume its someone powerful right? If it is, time to develope Akira. And did you want the Prince to creep up and pin Akira down or did you have something important in mind? If you did, ill edit my post

Akira

Shuffling through books and files was easy. As a laboratory, things were listed alphabetically and all Akira had to do was find folios under. First things first was "Daos". While she did know of bits and pieces, most of it were from folklores and stories. Not concrete enough for Akira to accept as fact and leave be. Lady Alissa said her presence was enough to summon them, which also piqued her interest. Of all the Bithians that were in the organisation, it was a widely known fact that Akira's magic abilities weren't stellar. In fact, before her grandfather's implant of his eye onto hers, she could narry muster a spark from her hands. Even now, she relies heavily on swordsmenship bolstered with magic attacks rather than the other wy around.

The Daos folio was thick, but it had a few tabs and notes that told her to go seek other appendicies and folios. Spending the next two minutes rounding them up, Akira felt that she should at least give the main folio a quick glance over. As she made her way towards the desk at the far end wall away from the door, Akira felt a tingle run straight up her spine and her left pupil felt strained and pain shot through the nerves. She had not had a vision for quite a long while and the pain was quite a shocking reminder. Akira's left hand went to her eye patch grasping her head as she dropped to her knees. Her hands gripped the patch and the strings came loose her head arching up before a blinding beam of light shot and cleaved through the darkness before refracting out like a projector . Ghostly images flashed across the light, their movements and the image itself blurred and incoherent, but one thing Akira did make out was that it was playing something that is to happen in this room. She could see herself crouching as she is now and something obscured by the shadoow converging from behind her... the image the Akira in her "image" was showing was exactly the same as what she saw now....

Nrrrraaaaghhh!

Her hands shoved the files deep into her clothes before pivoting Akira performed a right bound crouch pivot on her right feet, swinging Tenchu as she faced the shadow behind her and slicing an upward diagonal cut with the pivot momentum. The sharp blade cleaving clean through the bookshelved that bracketed her, attempting to draw distance and time.

Remus

After putting Althea through a hard 15 minute run, Remus turned his Chocobo and put her through the shrubbery to his right. Soon they were back in the cover of the wilderness shrubbery. By his calculations, he should arrive just in time to rendevous with Reyu. He was worried about leaving her all by herself for too long of an extended period. They were the metaphorical nut in a nutcracker. Thelmacain soldiers on one side, the Bithians and these... Agima's on the other. Pretty much, with his Division separated from him, all he has as an ally would be Reyu.

After a gruelling 45 minute of hard riding, Remus had rounded a series of bends covered by dense bushes to arrive at the small beach that Reyu was to wait at. The trees that grew out into the water made a small cove for her to hide in, which was good. A lone boat floating on a beach was a bad idea. As he slowed Althea down, Remus saw Reyu just a bit further off from the beach. In another minute or two, she'd be there and he would board and be on their way to the Southern Continent

(OOC: Yea that's the prince Tipsy, at least it's his manipulated corpse.)

A quick glance at his prey told the price everything about her. He crept softly toward her, rotting flesh of his corpse turning a sickening purple. Although his mind was absent, the mind manipulating the corpse didn’t mind pushing the thing to it’s limits. With the muscle regeneration ebbing at the dying flesh of the prince, the corpse provided a vessel that was not only controllable, but decent in combat. He could still taste the bitterly sour flavor of Veska’s potion on his breath.

The corpse stood within feet of the girl. “Ms. Sakamoto, that name sounds familiar to me.” He spoke in a raspy voice unlike his own.

As he spoke this, the corpse of the prince had begun to change in appearance and form, surprising the corpse’s handler. The arms of the man had burst out becoming wide like thick tree trunks and his height had shot up about three feet more. The worst transformation however became the thing’s face as its hair had begun to fall out, and its mouth stretching almost from ear to ear with crooked jagged teeth. The thing let out a frustrating grunt. Eyes for the prince had now become a thing of the past as they were no longer visible through a sandy looking flap of skin falling forward fro its forehead.

“Veska…” the creature grunted in a voice that could only belong to a beast.

He couldn’t protest that the scientist didn’t warn him of the potion’s side effects. Either way, the liquid’s goal had still done the job as the corpse seemed lighter on its feet, yet stronger in power. Focusing his attention on the woman, he growled threateningly. “It looks like I’ll be hunting yet another member of the Sakamoto family this time.” The beast said lunging forward with one of its fists swinging at the girl.

His right fist had met with a blade which has indeed made impact. Snatching his hand away the corpse paused. This was a woman with fighting spirit, a great way for the prince’s strength to be tested! “Ahahahaha! A fighting spirit in you eh? Just like that dear old Magicked man.”
------------------------------------------------------------

Revilo swung at a beast heading for him. The awful stench of the blood of the falling beasts could easily be smelled and in some instances tasted within the air. “You’ve gotten much better in magical skill.” Revilo muttered to Mary as he went jabbing at a beast behind her.

The man didn’t know what where to exit. The awful beasts had scattered all about the laboratory and the thickening fog was making it hard to see through. He didn’t know much about the beasts at hand but there had to be at least twenty more nearby. Revilo’s thought process had begun to start up. If the two were to save Akira they would probably have to go back the way they came. The man motioned for Akira to follow him back through the labs.

They had received all of the information they needed. All they needed to do now was focus on escaping the laboratory. With quick summoning motions boulders from the ground had shot up in a parallel fashion. This would give the two a bit of cover from the sides.

“Let’s go.” He commanded as he fought his way forward back to the door they had come from.

------------------------------------------------------------

Laleth stirred in the cold night air. Something was going on. Her sleeping chamber was much larger than her room prior. It was her father's and it's walls seemed to be creaking. Sitting upright as the sheets fell she could hear a commotion going on from behind the doors of her chamber.

The girl slid easily out of the bed in her white nightgown and walked barefoot towards the door. The cold stone sent shivers up her spine as she strained her ears to listen. It sounded as if soldiers were speaking on the other side of the doors. "Please you must let me speak with her!" She could make out a man saying to the guards outside her door.

Laleth grabbed the doorknob of her room, but she wasn't surprised to see that the door had been locked. She had long since known that her captors were making sure to keep her under their supervision. "But four major fugitives have been spotted in Earoke! It's an all out war!" she heard a soldier speak.

She turned the knobs once more with no luck and had considered banging on the door only to realise what she had at stake. She was being forced to stay in this castle, forced by the Thelmacain ruler himself to become a queen. She knew that she was nothing but a sitting pawn until King Thelma IX would use her. "It's been said that the witch Rune has been behind a rebellion! This town could be next! I must tell her."

Laleth stood very still only to wince as the gaurds outside her door made clanking sounds with their swords. With a small rustling soundhad come from the other side until she now stood in silence. The girl had no time for fear now. All she could do was live confined.

Reyu sat on the grass of a small island. An odd vessel was headed her way, yet she assumed it was Remus coming back to join her. She gazed upwards at he sky. Only stars could be seen now. She waned to rest, but her journey had brought her so far already. Up ahead she saw something near the town. It looked like a man she had seen before, possibly with the same armour as Kethos.

The young woman thought nothing of it until she realised that men with the same Armor as her former boss were very rare. It could be him tracking them down! "Hey!" She called to Remusnot far from her. "They're gaining on us!"
Her heart lept when she saw a small white light beaming in their direction from the man on the Ale docks.

Mary followed Revillo as they made their way to the door. A fast monster went ahead to give chase, and as Mary began to prepare an arrow to be shot at the monster, the creature struck, leaving several scratch marks on Mary's side as she grunted in pain.

Ignoring the pain, Mary fired off an arrow at the beast's eye. It howled in pain, and allowed Mary to make a move to the door, clutching her side.

Reaching the door to the lab, Mary looked at her hand, covered in blood from the wound. "Dammit." She cursed at herself, not just because she got hurt, but because she let the scientist get away. She knew something about her parents, and she wanted to find out, but getting out of Earoke took high priority over all else, and she can't face Veska like this.

Akira

Akira now faced a hideous being looming in front of her. Her hand still clutched at her left eye, the numbing pain causing her right hand to slightly shake. Bravely Akira levelled Tenchu at the beast. Calling it a beast was an insult to beasts. For all she knew, it resembled something that managed to crawl its way out from the torture pits of hell and back into the realm of the living.

“Ahahahaha! A fighting spirit in you eh? Just like that dear old Magicked man.”

This caused Akira to narrow her eyes. There was only one Sakamoto that was a known practioner of Magick and that was her Grandfather. What did the beast mean? Had he met her grandfather before his untimely demise?

You know of my Grandfather, cur?

Ever so slowly, Akira backed away from the shelves. While it took her further from the door, it did mean that she was not stuck in a narrow space between to wall of shelves. Touhou faired illly in confined spaces, despite its shorter dimensions than normal nodachi, but Jinchu was not enough for the current task.

It cannot be helped i suppose....Come!

Never has Akira ever tried activating flames while her left eye is active, but it is do or die in this circumstances. Its pain is been bearable for now, but Akira could not be sure how long this was going to last.

Kai!

Akira snapped her eyes open in concentration, but rather than the normal flame atop of her left eye, a second one appeared above her right and both flared crazily, its trails way above the dome of her head. Magic throbbed and surged through her veins.

I do not know what is going on, but i feel that now is the perfect chance!

Taking the pre emptive strike, Akira placed her hands above Toohou, swiping it along the blade and setting it on fire. With the flames roaring on top of the metal, Touhou now had additional offensive damage. With a fast iai slash, Akira aimed to cut a deep wound across the beast's chest.

Remus

"Hey! They're gaining on us!"

Oh to hell and back.....Not good.

Indeed, Remus did not expect being detected so early. He could not risk blowing his story as of yet as they cannot confirm who had spotted them or if they had knowledge of their warrants. Quickly, Remus inverted his cloak and draped it over his head and as much of Althea as possible. Urging the bird into the water, Remus ran along the partially submerged sand bank that would lead them further out into the water and closer to Reyu. With all due haste, the boat drifted near the tip of the sand bank and with one final spur, Althea bounded from the water and landed smoothly onto the deck of the boat.

What is going on? I was sure i had not been spotted. Where are the chasers?

Althea was tied down in a secure place on the ship so that she did not walk around or potentially fall over board. Remus did not need a wild Althea to distract him from piloting the ship and fleeing from pursuers.

Earoke. Staring at the city, the immediate thought was how much the city had changed. Now the most technologically advanced city, she knew it was crawling with soldiers wielding powerful weapons. However, back in the day, things were so much more different.

"Uhm, Lady Rune?"

Mildly startled, Rune nodded,"Ah, yes. Let us move."

Walking off the main road, they made for the city walls by the side. The group of about 10, excluding Rune, would have been an easily noticeable group if they had not strayed from the main path. Now enshrouded by the forest, they moved with relative secrecy, despite the difficulties moving around.

Soon enough, the group reached the walls on which Rune quickly places her palm.

"Hello, dearest friend, allow me passage in exchange for this little prize."

Rune had to admit, this was one of the more childish sounding chants she had in her arsenal of spells. Even the other members of her group seem to think so, as they began to approach the wall.

"Okay, before we go in, let us split into three groups. I'll be on my own, and the ten of you will split into groups of 5. Your main objective is to cause as much havoc as possible. Blast buildings, blast walls. Do whatever you can to get the attention on yourselves. Escape with a Teleportation spell when things get too rough."

"Lady Rune! Let us follow you!"

"I'd like to, but for me to move around without being noticed, I have to be alone. The distraction will also be vital in helping make my passage easier. Don't think your jobs are unimportant. They are in fact, the most important, and most dangerous."

"Yes, my Lady. Forgive me."

"In any case, this mission will be dangerous. Please be safe. Now go."

With a quick discussion, the ten split into groups of five and entered through the wall. Rune sighed quietly under her breath and entered the city as well.

Revilo Green

Revilo fought his way through the monster filled laboratory back through the doorway whence they had come. He stopped only to shut the metal door and to catch his breath. He had managed to escape with a few bruises and bumps here and there, but his sight of blood upon Mary's hand made him quickly think of an action. "Do you need a bandage?" He asked her, already taking a cloth from his pant pocket and wrapping it around her wound. "We'll need to heal that." he spoke as small remedies flashed into his head before he concentrated on their goal.

"Do you think you can still fight?" He asked Mary before prying open the other door in whence Akira had gone.

As a bang from the creatures on the other side of the door rang out, he had a feeling that Akira might be dealing with something far worse than they. His answer would lie in the opening door. "Akira?"

Emperor Thelma IX

You know of my Grandfather, cur?

“Ohoho! Didn’t you know? The hunters who had killed the old fool were none other than a royal hunting party out to rid the world of dreadful Bithian magicians. A party put together by me and my own colleagues.” The beast smiled as a bit of flesh upon its lips fell off at its nasty smile.

The monster raised its fist at the woman, “People like you don’t deserve to exist in my realm or my kingdom. We Thelma will be a nation far more superior than anything magic users can throw at us." the beast growled.

It cannot be helped i suppose....Come!

The beast did just that but took a breath of surprise when it saw flames shooting out towards him. Before the undead corpse had known what hit it, it paused to look at the gaping line upon it's chest and then back at the flaming blade which had done the deed. Veska was right, the potion made him stronger but much slower to react. With this knowledge the Thelmacain royal swung it's enlarged fists at the girl, just hoping to be able to able to pound the warrior to death.

"Akira?"

Reyu

Reyu was relieved to see Remus reach her in due time.

What is going on? I was sure i had not been spotted. Where are the chasers?

Reyu pointed at the docks, but stopped when she had taken a second glance and the man upon the dock had vanished. She blinked twice and again. Surely there were no tricks her mind had played. She was almost certain a man had been standing at the docks before. "I swear he was staring directly in this direction...But it seems that the man is gone. We should hurry." Reyu spoke clutching her Nunchaku tightly in her hands.

~~~
Kethos & Alissa
"Are you sure they will comply?" The former Bithian leader asked as she sailed upon a boat hidden by her spell that helped it hide in the night's shadows.
"Remus has always been able to choose the right path when it comes to times like this..." Kethos spoke softly sitting upon the small boat behind his sister. "And Reyu will do just about anything I ask of her."
Their boat rocked in silence for a moment as they followed Kethos' colleagues from a great distance away. "Since they're wanted and I've failed at my own duty to capture and kill them, we're all in the same boat."
Alissa's blank expression almost turned into a smile at the reference to boats. but her expression had soon remained calm once more. "You know, if we do recruite them also they'll be in for a chalenge. The Mana Cave is heavily guarded, and the beasts that dwell within are probably much worse."
"We've got an amazingly talented team, I'm sure it will be no problem for us....But I still must know why we should even attempt."
"If the empire grows stronger there must be something there that can weaken their forces. I doub't they have been guarding that Cave just for fun. All we can do is pray we can find something to help." Alissa spoke as she sailed south.
Akira
“Ohoho! Didn’t you know? The hunters who had killed the old fool were none other than a royal hunting party out to rid the world of dreadful Bithian magicians. A party put together by me and my own colleagues. People like you don’t deserve to exist in my realm or my kingdom. We Thelma will be a nation far more superior than anything magic users can throw at us."
Akira couldn't say she was surprised. Bigots were bigots, regardless of whether they be royals or bandits, but still... the term "hunting party" gave Akira a taste of disgust in her mouth. The nuance of it made it seem like Bithians were no more than game animals, there to be hunted. Looking at the beast in front of her, she wondered who was more ill fitted to live in this realm. A fist came rocketing towards Akira and with a carefully timed twist to the side, Akira dodged it by a hair's breadth. She could feel the ripple of the air as the fist rushed past, but she was within his guard. Pulling Tenchu behind her head, readying for a mighty swing, the sword came down in an oblique angled cut, aiming to dig in and create a large laceration along the monsters arm from wrist to shoulder.
It didn't take long for the first blast to echo throughout the city. Rune had to admit she was impressed. 'Echo' is merely an understatement. Shortly after the first blast, came the second, and the third, and the fourth. Her men were certainly having fun. Rune allowed herself a small smile as she followed the crowd that were streaming away from the blasts.
It was also from amongst the crowd that she notices the guards that were headed to stop this chaos. Their weaponry seemed unusual, and, to Rune, rather powerful. Not wanting to risk it, she quickly pulled off a Blizzard Veil on the soldiers, risking discovery.
Fortunately for her, no one noticed -- yet. Either way, she blends into the crowd again to move along for her real goal.
"Do you need a bandage?"
Watching Revillo, she shook her head. "No, I'll be fine." The one thing she had on her mind was getting out of here, but nonetheless he moved to wrap a cloth around her wound. "We'll need to heal that."
No matter the case, they simply needed to get out of this hell hole of a castle and fast before the three of them wound up dead.
"Do you think you can still fight?"
Pulling out another arrow, she said to Revilo, "I'll be fine. I just have to avoid getting into very close combat that's all." She began to focus her magic, charging the tip of her arrows with lightning elemental energy, like the last time. Whatever monster that they would face, she'll take them down with one well placed shot. Such is the skill of an archer.
The sounds of combat was heard from beyond the door that Revilo opened and upon calling out the name, she began to aim her bow down range from behind the man, expecting to come into view of the creature soon enough.
OOC: Oops... i forgot to react to Revilo's call. Just make it that she didn't hear since she seems to be way too occupied with the monster. Some additional dialogue since i forgot to put some in when i posted earlier on
Akira
Akira could have sworn she heard Revilo cry, but with the opponet she was facing right now being so powerful, she doubt she could spare a second to respond. Instead, she tried to draw information from the being.
You hideous beast! You are a desecration to the Gods and to humanity! Tell me which demon did you deal with, so i can personally cut them down, cur.
If more of these monsters could be created, then there was a very big threat against Bithians all over the world. One of these could bulldoze through a dozen normal bithians.
Scene music - Song of the Ancients Fate
Revilo Green
Upon hearing voices Revilo entered the room. He considered looking out for Mary but he remembered Akira was also in the room. He moved through cautiously through the room until he had found her, or them rather. Upon seeing the deformed beast Revilo couldn't help but look away in disgust. It towered in it's tall stature and it's deformed and exaggerated muscles of pure flesh and rotting skin just made it and the smell of the place very horrid.
Also upon seeing the beast he could hear distant vibrations coming from the land above, almost like a commotion of which he partially hoped Rune was a part of. He held his weapon toward the beast threateningly as he watched Akira strike the beast. It's arm seemed to tear open, but the blood was long gone. The beast smiled "This body doesn't belong to me." He spoke utilizing his strength in his other arm and striking the ground. "Therefore pain is just a waste of time inflicting!"
The small quake that ensued was enough to sweep Revilo off his feet at once. He had been careless to pay full attention to it, for he was too busy thinking of what action to take next. "Leave her!" He spoke as he picked himself off the ground and charged at it.
He couldn't help but wonder what kind of this this was and how Akira and Mary and he could escape the place.The large beast swung it's torn arm, it's rotted muscle perfectly cleaved and visible flying at him. Revilo dodged to the side in order to run up close to the beast but he didn't see it's foot which had cleanly caught him in the chest. A heavy blow from the fist of the thing had come down from behind him.
Maybe shattered and broken bones had ensued, Revilo couldn't tell, for his own carelessness due to his wandering thoughts had caused him this pain. He slumped down onto the floor, tasting blood and feeling numb. He had found it hard to breathe or to see. The beast however assumed the man dead once he had heard the crackle of the man's bones as he hit the floor. "Well." Spoke the beast looking at both Mary and Akira questioningly. "Which of you shall die next?"
Revilo could not hear it's speech clearly, but he could feel a rise in energy within the room, but he could do nothing but lay on the ground in pain. The direction of the energy hadn't come from the beast's direction which had made him wonder, what could Akira have up her sleeve that would make such energy gather towards her direction?
(OOC:I think I intended for this to be a moment where Akira summons a Daos or something :hmmm: I don't remember what we discussed for this scene though. This fight's up to the ladies I guess.)
Chief Tallock
The leader of the demon tribe sat patiently in the city of Relfthia. It seemed that the Demons were regaining all of the land which was taken from them by the empire. Not only that but surprisingly the demons had found that they could learn to get along with some of the humans who resided in these overruled kingdoms. For the longest time it felt like things were finally going their way. Something even he had found odd was the flying rouge bveasts in the sky who had seemed to only attack the Thelmacan cities and nowhere else.
Tallock not only found it odd, he found it suspicious. But now was not the time for worries. he had currently stood within the castle of this kingdom where it's rulers had already been slaughtered. While the demon leader did not wish to see death to this extent it was necessary in order for his people to get a role in everyday society. He had to try and justify his people's actions. As he stood around the castle he could hear noises from the grounds outside. These screams sounded alarming, so alarming in fact that not only the voices of his fellow people's were ringing out, but those of the humans who resided in the area rang out as well.
"What's going on out there?" A bulking humanoid dog warrior spoke staring out of a castle window.
"There's nothing but fog out." Responded a female demon warrior who resembled a feline. "I can't see a thing. But what's weird is I didn't see any fog before."
The Chief had begun to make his way toward the castle gates which for some reason contained a small crown of blood soaked humans and demon warriors alike, staring out at the fog beyond them where echoes of tortures screams grew even louder. "What is going on?" He demanded.
"It's some beast sir-"
"It took my husband!" A woman sobbed holding what looked like a severed hand and wearing a mask of flowing tears upon her face.
"It's too dangerous to open the gates." one of the warriors spoke.
"But if we wait here the rest of them will die!" a civilian remarked.
"They're already dead" another civilian in the crowd replied a beastly sounds of crunching and feeding could be heard next to the closed castle gates followed by a rotting smell greeting the air and crimson liquid flowing through into the castle grounds.
OOC: Wasn't sure if I had to wait for Tipsy, but since there hasn't been much activity, I'll give this a shot, and Oli could KO me after.
IC:
What they met was a hideous monstrosity that was fighting Rune, she wounded it only to watch the blood disappear.
"Leave her!"
Mary saw Revilo charge at the beast, at first dodging its first attack, only for him to get caught in the second round. It was a sickening blow hearing that, with bones broken and blood in his mouth. "Revilo, NO!!!" Mary yelled out as he landed on the floor, his body numb and barely moving.
Aiming her bow and lightning-charged arrow at the now turning monster, she aimed right for its face as he bellowed out. "Well, Which of you shall die next?"
"You monster." Mary muttered, firing her arrow right for the monsters face. She quickly pulled out 3 more and charged them with fire-elemental energies before pulling the string back and firing them. After firing them however, Mary winced. She was still wounded and she did not know how long she could keep this up.
OOC: Here comes some Daos XD
Akira
Her comrades burst into the room to come to her aid, but alas, even with three of them, they were beset badly. Revilo was severely wounded with one hit, which confirmed the power that was behind those strikes. Mary let loose a barrage of arrows but the monster seemed to shrug it off as if flies hitting into him. Fortunately, the monster was at the very least distracted and became somewhat indecisive on which of the woman he should take out first. As soon as he glanced over towards Mary, Akira launched herself once more at his back and dug her nodachi deep into the back on the right side. The blade slid through sickeningly and she heard a satisifying grunt and roar, but rather than it being wounding, it appeared more annoyed. With a massive hand, it reached over his shoulder and bought purchase on her body, swiftly yanking her and her sword off his back and flung Akira into the wall. Bones broke and that was another of the group down, leaving Mary.
Mary! Run!
Akira pitifully lobbed fire bullets after fire bullets, trying to annoy it enough to turn its attention onto herself and give Mary some time to run. It worked as the monster lumbered over to Akira's limb body. Even to the last second, she was as defiant as ever, spitting at the monster's body. For a last action, it was pitiful.
You do not scare me you accursed beast! Do your worst!
In actuality, fear had settled into a part of her heart. She had so much to do, yet she was to die here. Perhaps it was just not meant to be, for her to do big things. The monster raised its giant fist and launched a straight punch towards Akira. It's fist is big enough to spallter her head wole and probably her collar as well. Instinctively, she closed her eyes.
This... is it....i am coming to see you, grandfather....
Hmmm....Mayhaps i can help?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Entrance Music - Descent of the Great Goddess
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The fist was stopped just centimeters short of Akira's face. Amongst a flutter of sakura petal leaves was a disembodied hand, pale pink and delicate. A second of silence elapsed when in between the monster and Akira, a giant whirlwind of sakura petals materialised from mid air, forcing the monster back several meters. Akira's left eye shot open and a blazing light pierced into the middle of the tempest and from within, an elegant and commanding oriental woman descended. The winds threw the petals around before with a flick of her arms, the wind dispelled and slowly, the petals floated in the air. It was clear enough that whatever she was, she was not human. Fox ears and tails poke out from her head and from beneath her kimono. The woman's left arm also materialised, connecting with the hand that had stopped the punch and she was sitting afloat in mid air. As if that wasn't enough, she possessed a fiery and blazing aura of flames, causing Akira to be unable to move nor even divert her eyes from the being.
Ah..... it has been a long time since i have descended... but what is this dawdry and dank place that i appear in?
Her voice as laced with disdain and disapproval as if a noble walking into an unsatisfactory restauraunt. Flicking open the fan that was in her hand, she covered her nose and mouth as if scared of anything mildly nasty would go in and it was only after a while did she take notice of the monster again.
Hm? Oh my... you are still here?
The monster was still for a split second before it stepped forward once more and roared at the newcomer.
Oh ho...... You can stand being in the presence of the Great Yamato Nadesico? Either you are very powerful... or you aren't human any more....
At that, the woman narrowed her eyes slightly before conjouring a small table tennis size ball of fire and launching towards the monster. As it reached close to the ex human's body, Nadesico clenched her fist and the small ball exploded violently, cleaving through parts of the wall behind the monster as well as any furnishing that was nearby in a three meter radius.
