[RP]Crystalius

"Come on, we have to go now!!!"

With a silent nod Revilo then bolted towards the direction of the village exit. "Keep up Mary, Akira!" he spoke slashing at a beast in his path.

With the exit barely in view and the sunlight leaving by the second they would have to travel fast. As he ran past the arch known as the entrance to the village the fog cleared at an instant. Revilo gazed back. He wondered if the girl known as Rune would survive the fight, but pushed the thought from his mind as he travelled onwards to the forest. Hopefully by the time they reached Earoke it would be nightfall.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Deploy all units at base."
Kethos commanded sitting in the labs of Earoke.

A shaky cadet had just informed him of bad news. Demons and Bithians alike had become one against them. They would need all the soldiers they could get. "Would you like to send out more soldiers from the labs?" The scientist Veska spoke walking about the labs with a clip board.

"No thanks."
Kethos replied feeling a sink in his stomach.

It had seemed as if the world was at an end. For him to be placed in a position of power in these times had become both a blessing and a curse. It's an all out massacre out there. "We are being hunted by our enemies."

"Indeed, Mr. General." Veska spoke looking at Kethos with a questionable stare. "You have troops, use than for the sake of our nation. We here can only provide the tools for our soldiers."

"yes, but if we lose this battle..."

"Then There's always an alternate route." Veska spoke. "Are you aware of the crater to the South?"

[OOC: @AgentBlow Neat, perhaps a chance to continue on, or finish up your side story?]

Seeing Revilo start on his way away from the village, Rune quickly went over to Saethos, blasting an icy spike through a beast. "We have to defend the village, Saethos," Rune said, before moving on towards the village. Some of the monsters were already starting to attack the houses. The cries of helpless victims from within the house told her enough about their imminent deaths if she still did nothing.

"Oh no, we've got to fend them off as quickly as possible. Maybe evacuate them too. Probably the latter."

Clasping her hands together, she closed her eyes as she willed up a strong blizzard around her that affected only her enemies. The beasts within range were immediately tossed up into the air by the raging snow that pelted them. In the air, they met their end as an icy spike impaled them.

"Tsk, haven't much time, have we," She wondered aloud.

"Come on, we have to go now!!!"

"Keep up Mary, Akira!"

Revilo had made a break for it. Rune had appeared to be staying back to help assist the villagers and mixed feeling gurgled below. On one hand, she felt a relief flowing in her that Rune was staying behind. Akira felt that she no longer needed eyes on the back of her head. On the other hand, the action of staying behind showed that Rune is not evil. Just someone with different goals and morale level

Right behind you!

The mist instantly thinned out the moment they made a break for it, meaning it was damn unnatural. Nonetheless, they needed to make some good time and avoid pursuing soldiers. As they were already low on time, planning their attck would have to be done on the move.

Any idea on our plan? If this place is important, im sure they arent going to let us march straight in unchallenged.

"Keep up Mary, Akira!"

Mary nodded when Revilo said that, Akira followed him, leaving Mary as the last one to leave. The ex-rebel finally takes her leave, running after Mary and Akira, and leaving Rune to her machinations.

She finally caught up with the two in the forest outside the town. The mist didn't follow her into the forest fortunately.

Right behind you!

Mary looked back, she saw the mist in view, but it wasn't going anywhere, it was as if it was nothing but a spell, and a powerful one at that.

Any idea on our plan? If this place is important, im sure they arent going to let us march straight in unchallenged.

Mary immediately said, "That's why we will have to find a back door, sneak in and steal the Crystalius from under their noses."

Any idea on our plan? If this place is important, im sure they arent going to let us march straight in unchallenged.

Revilo gazed back at Akira as they continued. She had a very valid point. "I suppose we would need a plan..." He spoke.

"That's why we will have to find a back door, sneak in and steal the Crystalius from under their noses."

"If there is a back door," Revilo spoke.

It sounded like a foolproof plan but Revilo could barely remember his last trip to Earoke. "From what I know the labs where they keep things are located somewhere within the castle, so we should first figure out a way inside." He spoke travelling through the trees on a trail to the town where they were headed. "Maybe stealing some Thelmacain guard uniforms would easily get us in."

He often wondered if a foolish, simple plan like this would ever work if put in motion. Considering the circumstances of possible survivors from other Thelma cities, there would definitely have to be some sort of Thelma authority to contain the chaos. "I believe this could work." He spoke as the city castle came to view in the setting sun. They were almost there. "And if we face trouble we'll just have to switch to plan B."

Thinking in his head, if it were to go to extreme levels he would have to fight his way in. He was one step closer to reviving his sister and contributing to the fall of the Thelmacain empire.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Monsters of the fog surrounded Rune and Saethos. They were dressed in Thelmacain armour but looked beastly and held a pledge of hate in their eyes. One of them had human like features and she still wore a tag around her neck from whence she had come. Her hair was long and pink, yet her mouth dripped with fangs. Three remaining creatures were ready to attack and pounced towards their prey...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"You're an interesting subject." the scientist Veska spoke smiling. "Take her to the back."

The girl who had just been brought in stood struggling against two strong soldiers. Veska walked over to a window in her laboratory. As guards and scientists of the like flooded the place. It looked like a hangar of people discussing matters and trading objects. Nearby officers were being taught by lab assistants on how to shoot her latest invention. A weapon that not only shoot bullet's like a gun, but it fires rounds much quicker and more efficiently.

She sighed as Kethos entered the lab now filled with soldiers. "Are you ready?" She asked him.

"More that ever," Spoke Kethos, a bit nervous. "If what you are providing will help our nation win the war then I can assure you that my troops and myself will be on the job."

Kethos did not want to talk to this woman. She was cold in all intentions but he had a plan himself. "So tell me, what is in this crater to the south?"

"Well," Veska lowered herself to a whisper. "Years ago I had a team investigate them. As you know in the war between humans and Magicked peoples human's won, but only by trapping a majority of the magicked peoples in an underground cavern."

"Is that what it is? A cavern full of dead Magicks?"

"No, not just that, as it turned out they were actually a ruins of an old city."

"I don't see your point."
Kethos spoke.

"In the years they had been trapped underground by us humans they had decided to build a city of their own. A city wielding vast amounts of mana powered technology, which has been banned from here long ago."

"What does this mean?"

"Inside these ruins are vast amounts of truths and technologies, powers which could bring any current day city to it's knees."
Veska spoke in a much quieter tone. "So if push comes to shove, the Thelmacain Empire who also guards the ruins can easily use this technology to wipe out all enemies."

Kethos felt a pang in his own chest. He knew that this was wrong and what he was doing was right. His own kingdom would go against their own teachings to gain control of this world. Now that he knew he would have to set off by himself to see for himself this truth and to find a way to put an end to the wrongdoing for good.

"Ugh how long do we have to travel like this?" Reyu asked in a whine as she walked through the wild lands of the south towards the village of Ale.

Being on the run was difficult but it had to be done. She would kill to have a hot meal to eat or maybe something to drink. Walking like this would not last them long. Sooner or later Thelmacain guards would catch up to them.

As She travelled on the sky had darkened already. Nothing but the insects in the grass could be heard. Up ahead Reyu could almost spot something. She could see flashes of light. It looked a bit like magic was being produced but she did not dare to check it out. Instead she stood close to Remus not knowing whether they should investigate or to hang back.

"Events were already in motion. There was nothing that could stop what would happen next. The world was dying and fast, many people were broken and confused. From these moments on our future together was inevitable..."

[OOC: I'll just post first. Saethos can catch up later, I suppose. And damn, can't there be a decent mp3 version of this particular segment in Peace Walker...? The first part is different from the second. The second, I mimicked Zero Allies! from the soundtrack.. :D I even mimicked that blasts of the gun. ]

With a resounding howl of the chilly tempest stirred up by Rune's Blizzard Veil, sawing to the unfortunate end of several more of the mysterious beasts. As the monster's body landed on the ground with a sickening thud, Rune motioned for the villagers to go past her to through the exit behind her. This was a plan that both Rune and Saethos agreed upon, out of necessity more than logic.

While they did their very best, they could not prevent the untimely demise of some villagers. These monsters were hell bent on destruction and death, and that was making the job of defending the village even harder. Realizing this, they decided to abandon the village, and save the people instead - their homes can be rebuilt only if they're alive after all.

"No good. Desperate times call for desperate measures."

As she said that, she quickly ran forward towards the beasts of the fog, unleashing the full force of her Blizzard Veil, which caused the beasts to stumble as they charged towards her. Some of them managed to struggle onto their feet, but now had to push against the winds to get to her. Rune knew she couldn't keep this up for long, so she started the chant.

"Laa, lala, lalalaa, lalalaa. La, lala, lala, lalalaa..."

Singing her incantation aloud, she felt her spell start to get invoked as the air around her became charged with electricity, and her Blizzard Veil started to die.

"Laaa~ La, laaa~ Laa, Laaa~ Laaa~"

A beast started leaped towards Rune, a bolt of lightning struck it down, and another beside it.

"Laaa~ La, Laaa~ La! Laa~ Laaa~"

"From what I know the labs where they keep things are located somewhere within the castle, so we should first figure out a way inside. Maybe stealing some Thelmacain guard uniforms would easily get us in."

Mary thought of what Revilo said, stealing Thelmacain guard uniforms, would be difficult, but not impossible. As a rebel, as far as the Empire was concerned, in order to achieve their objective, they had to make anything possible, using all means. While she strayed a bit from this fact, she still had no problems taking on the Empire, they had to go down.

"That will be difficult, but not impossible."
She said as she looked out onto the city of Earoke. The most advanced city in the world, the pride of Thelma's might.

"I believe this could work. And if we face trouble we'll just have to switch to plan B."

"Well let's just hope we don't get to plan B then."
Mary said, passing Revilo as she headed into the city. She knew what must be done, though she couldn't help but worry about Laleth. She began contemplating going back to Idunblim to find her, she also began finding clues herself on her family back home. "No...I must do this first." She finally thought.

OOC: Problem was solved, dunno what I did, but I did something :hmmm:

Saethos was having a lot of trouble seeing in the fog and wasn't able to do quite as well as normal. But he still had his hearing. Letting out a small bit of his beast rage out, he was able to hear one coming from behind him. Instinctively he grabbed one of his daggers that he made. As it came to him, the little bit of beastly instinct in him from the small leak of power made him be absolutely ruthless. Catching the monsters mouth with his dagger, he took his free hand and quickly pried it's mouth open. This was followed by the dagger being pushed through the throat of the monster. All that could be sen on the outside was the tip dragging through the outter part of the monster's throat, but the sound of what was happening on the inside would turn most people's stomaches.

Without any regard to the manner in which the blade went in, he tore it back out. The blood that covered it smelled horrid, causing Saethos to dry heave just once. He then whiped the blade off on the body of what he had just killed. Upon wiping his blade, he saw something familiar on the monster. It was a badge on the creatures neck. Curiously, Saethos took it off and whiped the blood off of it. He stood up and held it so that Rune could see, but he didn't say anything. He had a very confused expression on his face.

Rune chuckled as a bolt of lightning miraculously came down at the opportune moment to kill a beast that had just started in the motion of a pounce towards her. As the beast's disgustingly burnt body collapsed in a heap at her feet, she quickly walks away, wrinkling her nose to block out the foul smell that she was expecting.

Over at Saethos' side, it would seem that he had just disposed of another of the mysterious beasts, and had apparently procured something from the monster. Clearly, he didn't know what the Badge had stood for, but seeing it, Rune immediately snapped into attention.

"We can't stay here any longer. We must quickly rejoin the armies!"

It was a Thelmacian tag.

The Thelmacians must have had got wind of their presence here! Likely, they would have been anticipating an imminent attack. It seemed this war was just starting to get complicated.

"Come on," scowled Rune as she stormed off through the exit of the village, quickly addressing the villager that seemed to have held the most authority. "Keep your people safe."

Without so much as a glance back behind her, she broke into a run in the direction the army had taken. Whether Saethos followed her was another matter now.

[OOC: Just in case you wanted to clear up the side stories. You could clear them up and come after her later.]

OOC: Referesh me with what was plan b? And i'll start the uniform hunting if you dont mind XD

Akira

"From what I know the labs where they keep things are located somewhere within the castle, so we should first figure out a way inside. Maybe stealing some Thelmacain guard uniforms would easily get us in."

It was a rather sound plan, Akira thought. Procuring the uniform was going to be a bit more difficult if they wanted to do it stealthily. Blood often was a big give away to something wrong.

We will have to either gang up on an unsuspecting soldier so that we can obtain clean uniforms or go and steal them from barracks.

"I believe this could work. And if we face trouble we'll just have to switch to plan B."

"Well let's just hope we don't get to plan B then

The city loomed ahead and if they wanted to get ahead of any alerts due to the recent disturbances, they had to go in now. To their luck, a small patrol of four were coming by their area in a typical two front two back formation. They could take down the rear two first, gang the middle then kill the third in quick succession. That left three uniforms. The next option was to sneak to the barracks.

Well, barracks or that patrol? Which path do you want to take?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OOC: Refresh my memory, but was there a prior event at ale or is this completely new?
Remus
"Ugh how long do we have to travel like this?"
It was understandable why Reyu would have been irritated. They had always been the pursuer, never on the receiving end. It was definitely a new experience, and not a pleasant one either. However, up ahead was Ale, their goal, but there was an odd glow to the sky.
Hm.... well, lets head into the village. Once there, let's investigate quietly and cautiously. If anything is up, we remount Althea and flee... see if we can cross the sea(?) between the west and south continent.
The duo took a further hour to get within visual sight of Ale and carefully and quietly, snuck into town. Remus told Althea to idle inside a dark alley for them while they went ahead on foot.
Hm... what is causing that glow i wonder....?
(OOC: It's assumed plan b will just be them fighting their way through till they get inside. There's wasn't an event at Ale but they were traveling towards the village and still are. This is just a small side mission thing.)
Well, barracks or that patrol? Which path do you want to take?
"I think the patrol will do quite nicely..."
Revilo spoke lunging towards the formation of four, arming himself with his rapier and running through one of the soldiers in the back of the formation while grabbing the second man in the back's head.
After a sickening snap of the man's neck he fell to the ground and Revilo beckoned the two women to help acquire the uniforms of the other two Thelma soldiers who had stopped and would notice them in seconds. He had gotten to work on dragging the dead patrolmen into the woods
and undressing the one without blood staining his uniform.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hm.... well, lets head into the village. Once there, let's investigate quietly and cautiously. If anything is up, we remount Althea and flee... see if we can cross the sea(?) between the west and south continent.
"Right..." Reyu spoke without argument.
The South would be a safe spot to flee she figured. As they entered the village, it was dark and night had already crept upon them. The boats near the island were all rocking quietly.
Hm... what is causing that glow i wonder....?
"It's probably just some fireflies. Should we take the shuttle to the southern continent now or later?" Reyu asked thoughtfully.
As she did this she spotted something else in the village further out. Walking towards a boat was a man with heavy metal armor on. The crest of the elite Thelma guard had been engraved upon it. At the sight of him Reyu gasped. Though it's likely that the soldier could not have gotten word of them being wanted, confronting him would not be a smart move. "Why do you suppose the elite officer is here?" Reyu asked in suspicion.
She knew that such high ranking officers wouldn't be wasting their time in a place like this. There had to be something up...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alisa eyed the two military officers from afar and shut off her light. She had confirmed their identities for sure but rethought her original plan. Maybe she could help them and in return they could help her with her current goal. Alissa followed the two quietly making sure she was not spotted...
After Revilo dealt with two of the four guards, it was Mary's turn to do some damage. Pulling out her bow and 2 of her arrows, she stretched out the band, aiming it at one of the guards. It was a trick she learned from Queen Aschson herself when Mary was still a part of the Rebels.
The arrows flew straight, and hit their intended targets. The first hit the neck, just below the chin of the guard, the second wound up hitting the man's eye. This served two purposes, cutting him off from speaking or breathing and to bleed himself to death, whichever came first. Now it was up to the other female to deal with the final guard.
Akira
There were three uniforms. Akira did not have to exert extra effort in obtaining a clean kill. While her companions quickly eliminated the rear guards, Akira drew her blade silently. Even the rasp of metal blade on metal sheath was absent. With practices ease, Jinnchu punctured through the heart of the final guard, blood blossoming on the uniform as the diminutive wrapped her hand around his mouth and dragged him to cover. Jinnchu remained inside to plug up the wound in order to reduce blood drops on the ground. When she was in a good hiding position, Jinnchu was taken out uncerimoniously and performed a Chiburui before swiftly slipping it back into its sheath.
That is three uniforms acquired. Let us change and infiltrate.
Thankfully for Akira, her clothing were thin. All she had to fold and hide was her jacket. Before long, Akira had slipped into the uniform. It was a tad big, but a few folds here and there and it would serve their purposes.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Remus

"It's probably just some fireflies. Should we take the shuttle to the southern continent now or later?"

Remus was not convinced, but that would have to be saved for later. They had to leave as soon as possible. It would be best to put water in between themselves and the active pursuit force.

We go now. We should be ahead of the pursuit force and at the pace we were going, i think we should be ahead of the messengers. We wait any longer and we might not be able to sneak on easily.

As they approached the boats, Remus spotted heavy armour knights. Thelma Elite Guards

"Why do you suppose the elite officer is here?"

Might be a mission they were on... i can pull rank and see if i can slip on... Go and bring Althea over. If i get jumped, you are to flee. I will escape myself. We meet at the end of the alley where we hid Althea in the third house attic. It is empty so we should be safe regrouping there.

The young girl nodded and after a few minutes, was with Althea, hidden. Just as he was about to go out, Reyu grabbed his armour.

I don't think we should risk it. If you reveal yourself, then, they will know eventually we fled south. It would be easy to track us down if their search area is reduced to just the south.

Good point.... What then can we do.....?

Remus was indeed befuddled with getting a plan across the sea.

(OOC: Sorry for the delay. After EA finished I took a short RP break. I'm back now and ready for anything :P Let's end this part of the RP. We're already halfway to the end!)

That is three uniforms acquired. Let us change and infiltrate.

Revilo nodded in agreement and put his uniform on. His clothes weren't much compared to the ones he had on. He slipped it on while having to remove his black jacket. Sadly the pants of the uniform were much too tight, especially around his pelvis area. He could feel the material squeezing him tight.

"You two ready?" He asked the girls when he had fully suited up.

He knew that he probably didn't look much like himself and that the other two would look a bit different as well. He waited for the two ladies to change and stood for a good while until he was sure that other other two would be finished dressing. "Alright from here on we can just march right in." Revilo spoke thinking of how terrible security was around the Thelma kingdoms.

He had begun to walk into the town of Earoke heading straight for the castle, assuming the other two would be able to catch up. He looked around the town. Buildings and houses had looked worn and torn, as if a small war had taken place. The damage looked nowhere near as bad a Hautou from when Revilo destroyed a part of it's slums. This town was different, as the houses were all made strong and sturdy while.

As Revilo reached the Earoke castle entrance he paused a bit in wonder of its odd construction. This place was the closest thing to remembering the old mana technology talked about in history books. The Earoke castle was encased in a dome which looked similar to glass. The dome stretched wide and high enough to cover the entire castle which rose up high off the ground.

Revilo was impressed at the developing technology today. Even though mana was no longer used to power buildings or weapons. Revilo made his way towards he dome'd castle's entrance, a stairway reaching high towards an inner castle gate. Warriors of the same uniform were swarming the place. Citizens were there also. It seemed as if gathering inside the city was the only thing citizens could do at this point. The vibe around him made for an apocalyptic feeling and mood.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Donovan sat upon his throne, gazing at the Thelmacain documents in wonder. Apparently yet another war was to break out. The young king sighed, for he didn't want to waste away his good looks writing up documents for a war. His room of concubines were waiting for him to return and he wanted nothing more than to end the day's work swiftly. The night sky was dark this time. Not many stars were shining bright and Donovan knew that if another attack from the summoned creatures of the spirit tower occured Earoke would be ready to fight back again.

He stood and walked away from his throne, leaving the documents. "My day's work is finished." He told on of the workers of the castle as he planned to retire in his chamber.

Not even his many women could make him forget of the countless problems arising. Apparently king Thelma himself wanted to begin using the mana energy to integrate into weapons. It seemed as if the very thing the Thelmacain nation feared the most would be used by them for mass murder. On top of that the Daos once thought to protect the world had turned against its people with a raging fury. It wouldn't surprise him if the Demons or Magicked people had begun to make their move in his empire's fragile state.

With this on his mind Donovan couldn't help but think of a way to cease the turmoil and the constant uproar.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Good point.... What then can we do.....?

Reyu thought hard. It seemed that contact for now would be out of the question. Maybe if they waited a few years, maybe if they could change their names and appearances the two could begin to live normal lives again. "I guess we could keep going South." Reyu said looking at the docks. "But it's your call Commander Remus."

She looked back as the sky had given the area a sinister look. If they could find a place to stay for the night it would be great but Reyu knew that being on the run meant surviving first. She would have to survive for now.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"These documents talk of yet another war?" Laleth asked, a calm tone within her voice.

She sat on a high throne is a gorgeous black dress with servants standing at her side. The old throne room where her step father had died had been almost repaired within the day. Only small parts of the roof needed repairing now. Laleth's dress was at least 15 feet in length. The black ribbons and lolita accents upon it were attempts for her to gain class. She was the only one alive in Idunblim who had Thelmacain blood now. "Yes my Queen." spoke a servant handing out more documents over to the girl.

Laleth had given in, for her destiny was sealed. She was forced to become Queen of Idunblim beyond her will. Underneath her tranquil expression, underneath the ribbon in her hair, underneath her shell of a body, Laleth could almost feel nothing. Her small adventure ended briefly and try as she might she could not forget. "Take it to the 2nd tower and have the fortress team use the plans to defend against the current threats." She commanded.

Inside all of us there is a drive that keeps us going. When we keep going and going like that we're bound to run out. I didn't want to become a royal and yet I was. I didn't want to interact with the Thelmacains but now I have. Even though I was treated like a Queen, I knew that they could never accept a half breed. They only saw me as one thing and not both. I was only seen as a chess piece not a person. I was only heard as an announcer, not a opinionated person. That was what I had become. But I still thought of you all while I was away...I could never forget.

Events:
Infiltrate Earoke Castle!- Revilo, Mary, Akira
-Sneak into the Earoke labs to acquire a Crystalius.

"You two ready?"

Mary checked to make sure the uniform was fitting properly. "Well, this helmet stinks, but I think I can manage." To be honest, the uniform was very uncomfortable but she had to tolerate it until they can get the Crystalius and get out.

"Alright from here on we can just march right in."

"Right!" Mary nodded and started to follow Revilo into Earoke. There were a few old houses and some guards that walked by, but fortunately no one figured out who they were yet. When they moved to the glass dome that made up the outer gates of Earoke Castle, Mary thought, "Earoke Castle is considered to be the most highly defended structure in the Thelmacain Empire, simply because of this barrier here. This isn't magic though." Mary touched the barrier, which felt almost like glass. She turned to see Revilo making his way to the castle entrance, where soldiers and citizens alike were gathering, but for what?

You two ready?

A quick inspection of her gear and Akira was ready.

"Well, this helmet stinks, but I think I can manage."

Akira did not like to complain, but on this occasion, she had to agree. Plating such as these worn by Thelmacian soldiers were constricting and did not suit her fighting style of needing flexible joint movements and speed. The uniform was doing its best to foil both of these.

I cannot say i disagree. This is most constricting. Lets get inside as soon as we can so we can abandon these horrid clothing.

Now with their disguise, it was much easier to sneak it. There was no need to skulk around the darkness and look for gaps in their shell. As they made their way through the town, Akira spotted the same thing that the other two did.... including the fleeing citizens. If experience ever taught Akira anything, when citizens began to run like that, things weren't going to stay civil for long.

This does not bode well... be on your guard....

Akira's hand drifted towards her short sword and kept close next to Revilo as they approached the gate.

(OOC: So sorry I've been lacking in this RP you two. I've been extremely busy in school lately and I've been working on Rps and stuff which eats up lots of time. Anyways I'll be gone for the next week probably so I won't get to post much. I'll try to speed things up in this long post so feel free to inserrt scenes/moments of your own. Also since Rune's handler is recovering in the hospital I've been trying to get others drawn to the rp to fill some space. One person seemed interested so she'll be joining us when I talk to her again some more.)

Revilo walked up the castle steps in the dome surrounding Earoke castle. Since the castle itself was small it stood atop a large and steep hill that would also grant it's protection from enemies. The rouge Daos gods were still loose and since the three were now in the vicinity of the castle there would be no disturbance as they traveled. When they had finally reached the top, Revilo stopped to catch his breath.

Looking all around him the small castle was only two stories. "The lab must be somewhere in here." he mumbled to the other two behind while he entered into the hall.

With each step Revilo's pants would squeeze tighter and tighter. The walk had become much more uncomfortable as time went on. Revilo couldn't wait to get out of the uniform. The castle entrance was small and the doors to the throne room up ahead could be seen, as well as the dimly lit throne. The king could not be seen sitting upon his throne which would mean he's probably retired. Revilo turned to talk to the other two. "If anything happens, run and leave me to get to safety."

Before Revilo could realize he said it he had come to see something. It seemed that somehow he had come to care for both Mary and Akira in some way. He turned to the right and from chance he saw something that looked odd. Two other soldiers with an odd looking weapon similar to the blue haired officer's from Idunblim. "Hey you!" One of the soldiers said with husky voices.

Revilos heart jumped into his throat. If they were to be suspected for one bit they would all die here. Revilo did not know much about the advanced weapons of Earoke but he knew that they were deadly enough to kill him. "Aren't you one of the outside cadets?" the man in a husky voice spoke.

Revilo shook his head yes. He didn't want to speak, for his voice might give them away. "Well you need a gun in order to take down one of those monsters attacking Thelma cities." The guard said. "Go down the hall."

Revilo shook his head yet again and motioned the others to follow down the winding hall ahead. This castle seemed different than most. For starters fire did not light it's halls. Instead what looked like a white light sat in a bulb and in rows protruded from the walls of Earoke castle's hall. at the end of the hall a stairwell could be seen leading down into the depths of the basement.

Donovan Thelma had lay in his chamber in the cold night. His twelve ladies were all dancing around the bed, one of which he had already delighted in the pleasures. The other numbers would be later as for the rest of the night making more love would become Donovans attempt to spite. However for once Donovan did not feel the lustful joys of sexual intercourse. Instead he was growing tired of the whole act and as he watched the women he could feel his heart pounding in his chest.

Pounding harder and harder his own heart had begun to question the kingdom. And he could not only hear it but he felt it beating against his ribcage. The beautiful women of whom he had surrounded himself with daily were becoming mere figments next to his vision of war. He could barely see anything at all out of his eyes, but in one moment he collapsed dead on his bed. His heart having just burst within his chest. But as the women whom he had slept with had come to his aid they screamed and wailed in emergency. "Donovan!" the women screamed as they came close. but as Donovan opened his eyes once more the wailing stopped.

The women stared at the mans body in question. Would this mean that he had a brief moment of panic? The nude woman of whom the king had just been intimate with had come to his side and knelt down beside him only to have him spring up and bite the lady in the neck. her blood sprayed out as her moans and wails filled the room. The other women screamed also. Donovan quickly snapped her neck and lunged for the other women in the room making sure that none of them could reach the exit without going through him. "Witnesses should not be alive." spoke Donovan's body in an unfamiliar voice.

Laleth sat within her new room. it seemed she had inherited the kings quarters and was going over one last document for the night. So far from the last document she read that the Salinthime kingdom had fallen under the demon village's control. The people rebelling against the empire were making their move. It had also been seen that the wild Daos monsters were attacking Thelmacain territories only. For Laleth all she could do was dream that she could be free.

Now she had become a pawn in the kingdoms game and through force. She only hoped that the demons taking over territories would overthrow the Thelmacain Empire and rid them all of King Thelma IX.

The halls in the basement of Earoke castle ere bright with light. The walls were coated with thick steel, identical to the ceiling and floors. Before the three were two doors. Revilo did not know exactly where they were but he could feel that they were in the labs. it would make sense for the labs of Earoke to reside in the large hill under Earoke castle. "So which do you ladies want to explore? Left or right?"

Door Confusion - Akira Mary Revilo
- Choose a door to go through. The party may split at this point. Only one leads to a clue of the Crystalius.

Rune didn't have time to waste. If the Thelmacians truly knew of their presence there, then they must also know of the attack that was coming to the city. This would quickly escalate into a long drawn war, and all the possibilities were starting to end with bleak outcomes for their side.

Hurriedly casting the teleport spell, she re-emerged amongst the armies, surprising a few demons, and cheering a few of her own Agima.

As they greeted her, she hurriedly went over to the Demon Chief.

In hushed but hurried whispers, she conveyed the discovery to the Chief. There could be a chance that they have to change their plans. If indeed the Thelmacians are prepared, then they must have a strategy that could somehow break past strengthened defences.

Mary continued to follow Revillo as they headed through Earoke Castle. The strategic location of the castle would provide it some protection, but only just, since she does not know for sure how capable they are, but they are definitely giving the Thelma enough of a scare.

"The lab must be somewhere in here."

Mary nodded as they entered the castle. The dimly lit room ahead would probably be the throne room, meaning the lord of this castle is most likely retiring for the night.

"If anything happens, run and leave me to get to safety."

Mary wondered what he meant by that. Was he really willing to let himself die trying to save his sister? Nonetheless, Mary nodded in agreement to what the man said.

Continuing down the castle, she looked out for Revilo, who saw two men carrying foreign weapons. Despite being caught by them, the two were not able to identify either Mary, nor Revilo or Akira, which was a good thing. Recieving orders to go down the hall to pick this "gun" Revilo nodded and Mary continued following him down the hall and down the steps to what appeared to be the basements. Down the steel walls and floors of this underground fortress, the three of them saw two doors.

"So which do you ladies want to explore? Left or right?"

"We may have to split up and try to go through both. I'll go left."

OOC: Can i god mod the guards reaction? Or will they be alerted to Remus and Reyu's escape? You control Reyu for this portion Oli. If i can control the guards as well as Reyu, ill post in the next post their reaction.

"The lab must be somewhere in here."

Of course. There was no point in having such high security in this place if it was not a high lord's castle or if there was nothing to hide. However, finding it was another thing. Often, these hidden labs have such heavy security, that it sometimes takes as much time to get to and from the lab as spending time in it.

"If anything happens, run and leave me to get to safety."

A valiant gesture, but one that Akira did not relish the idea too much. With such heavy security, escaping would be tough if security suddenly tightened. As they continued through the hallways, the trio were suddenly confronted with a pair of men carrying foreign projectile weapons. She had seen a few in her travels, but as a swordswoman, there seemed to be an innate dislike of it.

Regardless, after successfully going under the radar of the two guards, they continued further into the belly of the castle (?) until they hit a pair of doors. With the three of them, one person was bound to be alone. There was something that she had wanted to look around herself. however.

"So which do you ladies want to explore? Left or right?"

"We may have to split up and try to go through both. I'll go left."

There may be something extra that i may seek around in this place. If Ms Mary have no particular goal in mind, I might suggest that you accompany Mr Revilo. I will head through the right whilst searching around fir my own agenda as well as yours. How about that?

Remus

To hell with it. Here is the deal. I will go and distract them. Seeing my rank as a Major General should vastly outrank him, i think i can command their attention as much as possible. During that time, snag a boat from the far end of where i am and sail off silently to a small beach about 2 km down the East coast. Hie out there and i will meet you there with Althea. I will make a show of leaving to the west.

With a low pitch whistle, Althea came trotting down towards the duo. No self respecting commander would be walking around without his mount for an extended period of time. Swinging onto her back, Remus nudged her down towards the Guardsman that they saw. With his helm in its enclosed closed state, covering his face completely, Remus approached him with as much authority and rank as possible.

You there! Guardsman. I am Major General Remus Cobanda of the Northwind Stormriders Division.
Where is your commander? Where is the rest of your unit? I have need to speak to him stat!
