[RP] Kingdom Hearts: Into The Dusk

Hal looked at everyone

"come on come on battle calls look sharp"

Hal walked out of the room and pressed a few buttons on the wall next to him and his locker opened and he picked up his red jacket and his swords and attached them to his belt.

Walking onto the command deck putting on his battle jacket he looked over at Raven

"I'm with you Raven"

Hal walked over to the steering and grabbed both joysticks and disabled auto pilot

"nice and quietly does it"

Laleth was shocked at the sudden teaming up. She was usually shy when it came to these things but her determination had taken over her for now. "I'll go with Luna." She said.

Laleth honestly didn't care which team she was on. She just wanted to get this over with as soon as possible. After getting up and leaving the room without word she took her seat once more by the window and gazed out at the stars. She was in her daydream. On one could bother her, she could hear nothing.

Orion exited his portal, looking around. There was supposed to be a contact here that said he would help him have a little rematch with Raven.... Except the place was empty. Orion growled. That informant of his was going to pay dearly. Apparently, there was supposed to be someone in Deep Space who could help set up solo battles, but so far he didn't see-

There. A Corridor of Darkness appeared and out stepped a small figure in a robe similar to the ones worn by the old Organization XIII. So either this person was a nobody, or could manipulate darkness. Orion didn't feel like bothering to find out, so he just walked over to him, asking "You would be Shadow." The small figure nodded, pushing back his hood. Underneath it was a Moogle, his fur dark and his eyes Dark Green. A moogle touched by darkness.

"Name is Shadow. You want to fight Raven?" Blunt enough. Orion nodded. "One on one, if at all possible. Can you do that?" Shadow chuckled darkly. "Easy enough. If you look through that window, you'll find the means on how we're planning to do it. Also, a bit of intel: it seems they're splitting into groups, so that makes it easier. I will deal with the other group personally." Orion was listening only faintly as he looked through the window.

Down below was a massive room. And inside...

Chao

Chao was in slumber when she suddenly cracked open an eye. Many times before, she has learned and used the ability to sleep lightly and was well aware that they were soon heading out. She slowly stood to her full height and stretched out her muscles before a loose shakedown of her limbs. With most of her sleep out of her, it was time to decide who she should follow. Of course, when one sleep, they tend to not hear conversation, but she was sleeping light enough that some might even consider not to be asleep at all. Normally, Chao would have followed Raven, but seeing as though Hal was part of his group already, it was better to balance things out.

Since Doc is with Raven, ill stick with Luna. Balance things out a bit.

Chao grabbed her equipment from the locker and geared up for battle, with her weapons and a few extra stuff such as a few grenades that looked rather interesting. She was ready as she ever could be as she stepped back out into where everyone stood.

Kaufman

Kaufman was busy hammering away at the databases and information bank available on the ship. While the information here was staggering and fascinating, Kaufman concentrated the matter at her hand, getting home. She still has no idea despite the cosmic maps and such and before long, Raven was calling them to begin prepping for battle. Kaufman scratched her head in frustration but gave in. Rushing wouldn't help.

Better get my guns then....

With the recovery of her weapons, Kaufman went and stood by Raven.

Ill stick with Raven here....

Raven seemed to be the leader of the whole team so if she needed anything, she could just ask him. Hal seemed to be one of the smarter of the group, so it wouldnt hurt if she could ask him questions. So Raven's team it was.

Sanjia had left the briefing room and thought about who he would go with. He knew Raven was good from what he heard, and him being new made him want to be with experience. As he thought about it, he realized that he would probably get in the way, and he didn't want that. He didn't really know anyone by face, so he wondered how he would find the other leader.

He spotted Laleth sitting over by the window and decided that he would stick with her. He sat down near her and pulled his hood on, focusing on what he had to do.

"This is gonna be my test. Gods be with me."

Celeste did not know who too follow as of yet. Would she follow Raven and the man named Hal or would she follow Luna and the rest. She knew however that her heart would guide her on the right path if she let it.

Closing her eyes she looked over at Raven with a cheerful look on her face. It was odd but she felt like if she choose this than everything would be balanced somehow.

"I'm going with you Raven. I feel that my powers would be more of assist to your group than the other one. No offence of course too any of you."

Moving towards Raven she gave a short smile too everyone and out her hood ontop of her head. For some reason having the hood on her head made her calmer and somewhat more stable and not so emotional. It was if she had put on a mask too hide who she truuly was.

"Ready to go whenever."

OOC: Latter time, I'ma be vague on details for the latter, but when I get to current time I'll step it up

After Julias had agreed to go with the crew, next all he had to do was wait. After a few short minutes he thought it might be time to go to the briefing room. When he got there everyone else was there but he had not missed anything just yet. He was listening to every word that was spoken Apparently they were headed for a world called "dead space." He didn't know a thing about this world, but he was willing to learn.

Then when he heard he had to choose who to follow, Julias decided to wait a bit and see the trends. It turned out it was rather even, alternating between who would go with who. However, Julias was very intrigued with the keyblade, he had heard about it, but he had never seen anyone that would actually wield it. What had him the most is what he had heard of the many ways it could be used. He really wanted to see what this current wielder could do, so he figured this time he would follow Raven.

"I'll come along with Raven. I want to see what the leader can do." He was speaking slightly humorous and smiled during his speech. He just hoped the gods were guiding him right.

OOC: Okay so final teams are

Team 1: Raven, Hal, Kaufman, Sanjia, Celeste and Julias

Team 2: Luna, Eliane, Laleth, Chao

Kind of imbalanced here...did I forget someone?

IC: Eliane decided to head with Luna, at least to better even "It will be an honor working with you Luna." She bowed, but Luna just ignored it.

"Alright, so the teams are decided. Once we land, we split up and patrol this world." Raven said

"We need to make sure that this world is safe until the reinforcements arrive to take over. So every part of this world should be protected."

The Normandy finally landed in the world of Deep Space. The Hangar was large enough for the ship to land, so they did not need to use Deck 5 like they normally would to get from world to world.

Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core OST-Mako City

"Let's begin"

The airlock started opening, venting air to match the baromic pressure of the outside. After a minute, the doors finally open, and Raven, Luna and Eliane left the ship itself. "My team will investigate the upper areas, Luna's team will investigate the lower areas. We will rendezvous to meet with and report to the Grand Councilwoman in 30 minutes. Understood?"

Eliane spoke, "Yes, sir."

"Good" Raven headed to the left, which lead to the upper decks. Luna and Eliane headed down to the lower decks to investigate.

Hal stepped out of the airlock and pressed a button on the side of the craft to send it back into space

"Okay Raven, lets go :)"

Hal drew his sword and started to survey the area infront and around them x

OOC: Okay, I can see where this is going. I know one of our RPers is gone for two weeks (and I might wind up RPing his character to move on) but can people please post as soon as possible? I hate having to write up OOC only posts.

As Sanjia sat there waiting for the ship to land, he heard that he was going with Raven and his group. Even though he didn't want to take the chance of slowing the experienced guys down, he would follow the orders he was given, and those orders were to go with Raven.

"My team will investigate the upper areas, Luna's team will investigate the lower areas. We will rendezvous to meet with and report to the Grand Councilwoman in 30 minutes. Understood?"

Sanjia got up as the door opened, and followed Hal out the door. Looking out the corners of his eyes for anything suspicious, he pulled out his sword and took slow steps. This was all new to him, so he knew he would have to try his best to keep up.

(OOC: did you put someone from our team into yours Kevin? Imbalanced teams :hmmm:)

"My team will investigate the upper areas, Luna's team will investigate the lower areas. We will rendezvous to meet with and report to the Grand Councilwoman in 30 minutes. Understood?"

Laleth followed Hal and another man out of the door And waited just outside of it for Luna and the others. She was ready to explore but she did not know who this "Grand Councilwoman" was nor did she know much of anything at that point. She just wanted to begin searching. "So what are we looking for again?" Laleth asked. "Anything specific we need to find?"

She had become pretty forgetful of her task as it had taken her from her main goal. She stood and opened her parisol so that the sun wouldn't bother her vision or delicate skin. She patiently waited for the others to catch up...

(OOC: I put Eliane and Luna in one team, Raven's team is the one imbalanced.)

IC: With the team members split up, Raven drew out his .357 Revolver and checked the corners. The corridors were well lit, but their were few guards in the area, they were probably off to prepare for the invasion.

"All right, let's keep moving, and let's stay together." Raven said.

"So what are we looking for again? Anything specific we need to find?"

"We're looking for Heartless, so if you see anything pitch black or a Heartless sigil, it's probably them."

As soon as Raven said that, he then thought, "I bet this is going to be a waste of my time, the time I could be spending looking for any clues to my dad's whereabouts, I spend here searching for ghosts."

----

Luna meanwhile, went with Eliane and her team to check the lower levels. These evels contained more hanger bays and the shield generator, protecting the world from energy attacks. Eliane had her staff drawn and ready, for Luna her Keyblade. Luna was eerily silent, as if she is trying to think clearly on something.

"Luna?"

"Sshh." Luna responded "I'm talking with my summon spirit, Shiva."

"Yeah, whatever wierdo." Eliane thought

"Go on." Luna said in her head.

"I feel that we are not alone, there are at least 3 people with great power outside of your little group."

"I see, any idea whom?"

"I don't know for sure, but I can lead you in the right direction for the closest one."

Luna's summon spirit then gives her the info on the closest person. With that she said, "Come on, let's move."

"Yeah, move where?" Eliane mumbled before going with Luna.

OOC: Really sorry. i seemed to have neglected this rp. My bad.
Who is Laleth with? It said she was on Luna's team, but is following Raven?

Kaufman

Kaufman felt her blood pump straight into her head. It was the thrill of a battle. It was a bodily reflex. Her body was kicking into gear for her normal high strung battles back where she had came from. It was made even more familiar with them running from the ship's door straight into enemy territory. It was seriously, to Kaufman, just like home. She pulled our her rifle, Ark and pulled the bolt back, checking that the bullet and action was working properly, before releasing it. The resounding chick meant the bullet was chambered and ready to fire. Kaufman planted her back on the wall where Raven was peaking around the corner.

"We're looking for Heartless, so if you see anything pitch black or a Heartless sigil, it's probably them.

Ah, those black buggers again? So we blast on sight? I can deal with those over there if you want?

Peering down the corridor Raven had looked down, it would be exceedingly hard to sneak up and take them out without them noticing the group and Raven's .357 wasn't the best ranged weapon in the universe. Kaufman swiftly planted a silencer on the muzzle and whipped out a short range scope. No need to do a complete transformation of Ark. She could knock off enough so that the group can reach them and finish them off.

Chao

Chao was happy that she was assigned to Luna's group. Not that there was anything wrong with Raven, but some girl time was good. Chao brought up the rear of the group. They were heading towards the lower area, which was filled with important stuff such as hangars and shield generators. However, it seems like a bit of stealth was preferred rather than a straight out battle. Something Chao lacked. She wasn't the most subtle fighter of the team.

"Come on, let's move."

Uh... sorry Luna, but got a more specific mission target?

Chao was a bit lost. Were they on sabotage? Search and pinpoint weak spots? Information gathering? Luckily, Chai had designated herself to the rear. Not knowing what they were doing exactly could make her do fatal errors that wreak the entire plan. While she asked Luna Phoenix decided to put in. She had not communicated with her Spirit since the last time that almost killed her. Chao was less than happy and more wary of the spirit, made worse by her snarky comment.
Hm.... how wonderfully.....embarrassing, my daughter. I thought you were better.

Shut it....

Chao realised she spoke out loud rather than internal dialogue and glanced around quickly before talking again.

What do you want?

Nothing. Its just that my friends are taking residence with yours. They convinced me to assist you rather than just let you be, so here i am, trying to strike up our relations. Arent you happy?

Brilliant. Real peachy in fact.

Chao could feel a smug smile from the Phoenix and decided to ignore it and returned her concentration to Luna. She did not want to miss what she said and give Phoenix more ammo to throw at her.

Hal put one of his swords away and then surveyed the local area for any distinct signs of the heartless horde.

"They must be around here somewhere"

Hal turned around and started to walk down the corridor.

OOC: It's official, I'm moving forward.

IC:

Raven

"Ah, those black buggers again? So we blast on sight? I can deal with those over there if you want?"

"Yeah, if we see Heartless, you are cleared to engage them at will." Raven said, once again checking corners with his .357 Model 19. While his revolver lacked the reach to get far, he could always resort to his Fire magic for that, or take the time to close the distance. He then followed Hal down a corridor which led to a large room.

Raven entered the large room, possibly an empty storage room, and Raven checked each and every room of the area. He said calmly, "I have a very bad feeling about this."

----

Luna and Eliane

"Uh... sorry Luna, but got a more specific mission target?"

"Shiva detected someone..or something of great power. Three of them to be exact, the closest one is in another hanger near our location. Let us move, and be ready to attack if the situation calls for it."

Eliane nodded then got her staff ready, followed by moving quickly towards the hanger. Following Luna, Eliane kept up with her, trying to get where they needed to go as quick as possible.

Down the Hallway, and on the first door to the left laid Hanger 8. Inside the hanger, was a single Gummi Ship. It seemed small comared to the size of the Normandy, which meant that only three people would actually fit inside. Several of the natives were busy trying to repair it. Among the people trying to fix it was a very familiar face. Luna sighed, "Your Majesty?"

The familiar face looked up to see the two, it was King Mickey of Disney Castle. He laughed, "It's good to see you again, Mrs. Thermidor."

As he headed towards both Eliane and Luna, the King wiped his face off of any grease. "I'm sorry for how I'm looking right now."

Luna and Eliane returned smiles, "It doesn't matter, what are you doing here in a place like this?"

Mickey looked back at space, "You see, I'm trying to meet someone important on the other side, to see if we can find a way to end the war before things gets worse. This person is a friend of mine."

"You believe that this friend would be able to help end the war?"

"I know so, but I would not know until I meet with him."

Celeste had been quite distant ever since the mission started. Mainly following her group and felt more like a bag of waste than a helping member. She did not know where to look, she felt completely useless.

The only thing she knew she could help with was combat, however she was not especially talented at that either. With a long drawn out sigh she looked at Raven as they entered the storage room looking area. It was not before Raven himself said that he had a very bad feeling about this that the reality of the situation hit her.

She could not be calm or thinking about her uselessness. She was a part of a group and she should be on her guard at all times. Taking off her hood and let her blonde hair out she tightened her fist.

"If there is heartless then I shall exterminate."

The look on her face changed from a mellow one to a serious one. Celeste was known to be a serious person about whatever she was doing, even cooking. She was ready to face anything and stare it in the eyes. With new morale she was ready for anything that could come in her way.

Hal followed the corridor as far as he could - there was a stone wall at the end of the corridor...

"Hmm... Raven... Where do we go?"

Hal stopped and started to look around for any heartless

Sanjia had followed Hal and Raven through the rooms checking for heartless. He still held his sword in case of anything, since he had no idea what was ahead. Suddenly Hal stopped as they got to the end of the corridor.

"Hmm... Raven... Where do we go?"

"I got a bad feeling about this." He said, getting low and checking for anything unusual about the walls, like a trap door or a switch of some kind.

"Your bad feeling is correct. You are not going to go anywhere."

A disembodied voice called out, before a wall of darkness surrounded Raven and leaving enough space for a one-on-one battlefield. Around it, heartless, a Darkside, a Siege engine, and two Morningstars popped up occupy the time of the others. The darkside towered above them all, the Siege engine advanced from behind, and the Morningstars whirled across the field at Raven's allies. (NPCs are released for you to control.)

Within the dark field, a figure jumped down to hit the floor, and as he stood up straight, the form was to be revealed as Orion. Orion nodded at Raven.

"We have unfinished business."

That said, Orion brought up his spear and launched ten Energy orbs at Raven.

With the other group, a Darkside loomed up from beneath Mickey's gummi ship, grabbing it and tearing it away from the hangar to toss away. A few of the people fixing it were thrown with it. Meanwhile, from the entrance of the cavern, a portal formed to release two Morningstars, whirling across, followed by a Siege Engine, which took it's time to open it's mouth and fire a wide-bore beam at the group.

Meanwhile, a dark portal appeared in front of Luna before a dark wall rose up between her and the rest of the group, trapping her to face the newcomer, who launched from the portal. Shadow's scythe came whistling down to strike at Luna's head.

The battle was on.

OOC: Agreed upon beforehand, Luna and Raven will face off against Shadow and Orion, respectively, while the rest of you deal with the Heartless forces. By the time you finish up, Luna and Raven should be done with their battles. Basically, don't rely on them to come out and help you.
