[RP] Kingdom Hearts: Into The Dusk

Raven:

Thunder Force VI OST-Metal Squad (from Thunder Force IV)

Even though Raven had a bad feeling, he did not expect Orion to show up and blast him from out of nowhere. Thinking fast on his feet, he quickly sidestepped and let some of the orbs hit the ground.

"Dammit, of all the things, I never expected you to actually fight me now." Raven said, summoning the Four Wings Keyblade in his hand, while twirling his revolver. Raven had a serious look on his face, though he didn't mind, it was about time he did something to allieviate his boredom of patrolling an empty world.

"We have unfinished business."

Raven looked at the dark wall, "So it seems. Come on, let's get this over with." Raven dashed towards Orion at top speed. This time, he had his revolver to use as his off weapon which means more of a chance to catch Orion off guard. He fired off three rounds from the .357 revolver, then dashed upwards. He was going to repeat a move that Orion used in his fight at Olympus Coliseum, rather, he was going to drive down at the Silver Dragoon with his Keyblade.

----
Luna and Eliane:

Luna saw the Dark Wall rise up. Eliane looked on to see what was going on "Luna!" The monk tried to try and get Luna out, but she was repulsed by the Wall.

"Elaine, don't worry about me."

"Luna, behind you, DUCK" Shiva said to Luna in her mind, and she did in a split second, avoiding the scythe that could've very well have killed her. Another split second later, Luna fired off a Blizzard spell from her palm at Shadow, hoping to knock the dark moogle away while she could summon her Keyblade.

"Who are you?"

----

Eliane meanwhile is forced to spectate the fight when King Mickey announced, "Eliane, Luna can handle herself, but right now we have another problem." Eliane looked and saw the Siege Engine launch a Beam of energy at the pair, and the both of them split up to dodge the attack.

Quickly landing, Elaine grasped her staff, "Darn, we were caught off guard." She looked at Chao, "Chao, we need to defeat these heartless, let's go!!"

Hal pulled out his swords...

"Just another day at the office"

He ran head first into a large group of the heartless who were attacking the ship and as he jumped into the middle of them swung his sword 360 degree's around his body to create a landing zone for him.. He put his fist down and landed on his knees.. Instantly looking up to see which one was going to come first he stood slowly up and went into battle pose

Julias headed off following Raven and the others. He was in the back. Grabbing two bolts and mounting them on his bow, he was getting ready to fight. He felt as though he was outdone by the weaponry the others had, he wouldn't be able to match the weapons they had for range, but he considered himself to be useful in multiple scenario. He always had his Dark Holy that could come in handy. Whether or not it would work on the heartless, he was unsure.

He noted at what was said to be done on sight of the heartless and readied his bow to aim quickly.

Unexpectedly, a familiar voice was heard in his ears as walls of darkness surrounded Raven, the leader, and many heartless rose up out of nowhere. They were already at his feet, so he grabbed 5 bolts a hand and began slicing away at the small black creatures. They vanished into darkness with one blow, just like before. Unfortunately there was a much bigger problem at hand. The larger heartless, same as before, was there.

He had hoped the others would focus on that one while he took on the little buggers. he could keep them under control on his own. If not, he still planned on taking out the smaller ones, he was unfamiliar with how to defeat that larger two heartless.
______________________________

It was time for Blade to meet with the one called "the Phantom". Opening a corridor of darkness, he was headed to the world Nekros to meet with him. Stepping into the dark portal, it went to the right world, but where he had aimed to go. He was face to face with 2 heartless guards. At first he just shrugged it off before realizing he was in a human host, so he was not going to be welcome. The guards took up their arms.

These guys didn't look so tough. He drew out his spear. These heartless were not as well able in the mind for him to confront with his words. They came at him.

Blade struck his spear into the ground and catapulted himself behined one of them to make some distance from the second one. As expected, the both were still facing him, but now he ad a chance to strike one while the other approached and give him time to respond to any attack that may be coming.

Taking his spear out of the floor, he sent it through the middle section of the first guard and allowed it to vanish into darkness. The other one was trying to send a blow at his mid area as well after the first had perished. As a result, Blade jumped up to dodge it and landed with his spear going through this heartless guards neck, resulting in that one vanishing as well.

Then two more heartless appeared, these ones a tad tougher, but nothing for him to worry about. There was one to his left and one to his right. Sending a wave of his energy, he used an ability he called "Grappling blast" and allowed it to strike the guard on his left. It sent the guard in the air towards Blade, but blade quickly rolled so that when the guard landed he would be behind it. Taking his knife, he drove it through the guards back and sliced it upward, making that guard return to darkness.

But there was still the other guard.

Kaufman

Luckily, Ark was primed and ready to go. Quite prepared and used to surprised attacks, the rushing heartless had no effect on Kaufman. Steadily, she began picking off the weaker looking ankle biters as they closed in on them. They were dangerous in the sense that they could cripple one when distracted. Only after a clip, the group was surrounded by enemies and sniping at range was impossible. Kaufman ran a hand across several dials and took apart the sniper attachments and the scope before slotting in the shotgun shells. She was going to get deep and dirty amongst the enemies.

Kaufman always dove for the bigger ones. While she could worry about the smaller buggers, something about a challenge was always so alluring for her. Kicking the small shadows as she ran, a poor unfortunate one walked straight into her path, which she kicked straight into one of the Morningstars. The giant heartless swatted the small shadow, but as it was doing so, Kaufman let off three rounds and to her dismay, the pellets from the shotgun shell splattered on the metal and ricochet off the round surface. Her stunned mood was cut short when one of its arms swung down on her head and only through trained reflex, did she dodge it. With such thick armour, it was going to be tougher than the huge one she fought at the arena.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chao
"Chao, we need to defeat these heartless, let's go!!"
The situation collapsed faster than Chao could blink. One moment, she was checking their rear while Luna chatted with King Mickey and the next, a beam almost took out herself and Eliane. Thankfully, the beam missed, or rather, they dodged. Several heartless poured in, but there wasn't a drove of small minions. This meant that they could just destroy one right after another without having to worry about annoying insects.
Well, conservatively speaking, how many can you take at once?
Hal continued to fight off the little heartless - he was working his way up to the big ones .. his plan was to defend the ship till they were all gone ... Since no ship meant no leaving... Hal kept fighting fearlessly against his old enemies.
IC: -Shadow-
A Blizzard spell was shot at him from the girl's palm. He had been warned that she was a mage, though, and nimbly rolled to one side. Being small had it's advantages. Bringing his scythe up, he calmly spoke.
"I am your angered shadow. Your dark copy." (total lie, but it sounds dramatic.)
After this, Shadow charged forward and swung again, this time at her torso. He didn't see the need to use his abilities just yet...
-Orion-
Orion dropped nimbly as the gun stopped moving. Just in time, he could hear the bullets fly above him. Rolling, he moved away from the spot he was in before and noticed his opponent in the air. Deciding it was best not to Jump at him until he had made sure Raven couldn't double, Orion launched off a flurry of Energy Orbs (10) at Raven while he was in mid-air, feeling the drain. Orion shrugged it off: Energy orbs didn't drain that much.
The Phantom:
As the Heartless Guard walked towards the Spear wielding warrior, he felt his body grow cold...colder than he normally felt at least. He looked down and saw a blade protruding from his body, the warmth of light quickly exhumed from his body.
The blade moved out of the now dead corpse as it dissapeared into darkness. The figure sheathed the sword back into his holster. He was wearing what seemed to be a black robe from the organization, but the hood was down. Instead of seeing a face, there was a helmet, so that no light would shine in on it, most likely to hide his true identity.
"Well, looks like you've gotten yourself into trouble, Blade." The Phantom said, "Come, we need not stay here, let us head back to the hideout." With that he walked out towards Blade, walking passed him and further down the dark streets.
----
Raven-
Raven saw Orion launch energy orbs at him. Knowing that he is trying to make Raven repeat the same strategy from earlier, he smiled, then said, "Come on, if you think I'm going to fall for that again, then you may as well see it won't work."
Raven decided to dive right into the fireworks, coming towards Orion at high speed. The Energy Orbs exploded as he got nearby, taking some damage, but not enough to stop Raven from completing his attack. Flipping his revolver so that he was grasping the barrel, he swung at Orion with the Keyblade, then he was going to launch an Aerial Dodge to swing at Orion with the butt of the pistol should he block his first attack.
----
Luna-
"I am your angered shadow. Your dark copy."
Luna quickly blocked the scythes attack with the Mysterious Abyss Keyblade, but the scythe was long enough to actually do some damage, with 2 inches of the blade actually penetrating her body. She pulled out of the way and summoning magic to her hands, quickly placed them to the ground, causing a pool of water to form under Shadow, the pool quickly became a forceful spout, hopefully sending him up into the air, and allowing her to fire off a barrage of magical attacks.
"Stop being such a bad liar, you're nothing like me."
----
Eliane and King Mickey-
Eliane saw the Morning Star launch it's maces right at her, but the attack was cut by Mickey, who destroyed the Chain, Eliane quickly dodge the projectile and then began her attack, using the staff as leverage, she placed it on the ground and launched herself in the air, doing a jumping kick that knocked the Heartless back, but not before being caught by a Ring Tank's Ray Bomb, knocking her up into the air after the explosion. "Dammit, these Heartless are tough." She thought.
Sanjia had decided to follow Hal and help him defend the ship. The heartless were everywhere, so he had to be fast in order to not get overwhelmed. He was cutting them down faster than he could count, but the number didn't matter to him. He just didn't want the ship to be taken over.
"Damn, these little bastards are everywhere."
Keeping his eyes forward, he just kept attacking until either he fell or the heartless were defeated.
BLADE
Blade was thankful that the phantom had come when he did, but he also felt that he could handle things by himself. There was only one left. But either way, it didn't matter. the end would be the same.
He was, however, surprised at what he saw. The phantom wore the usual black garments, but there was a helmet on his head that prevented Blade from seeing him. But Blade best do as he was told and go to the hideout with him.
They were headed to the hideout now, which was located in an ally down the street. On the way there, Blade couldn't help but ask...
"So what's under the mask anyway?"
He wasn't trying to sound nosy, just curious.
Julias
Julias watched as two decided to defend the ship and only one went to fight off the biggest heartless. Convenient, now he had to fight off the small fry and make sure that the one fighting the bigger ones would survive. A sneak attack from a small one, though not fatal, could prove to mean life or death, and he wouldn't risk it.
He might need to use Dark Holy soon, so he began charging it just in case while still slashing away at the smaller ones. He began to glow the usual dark blue. The bolts in his hand wouldn't last much longer, so he threw them towards a crowd of small heartless, taking a good number out and drawing out 5 more per hand. Again slashing away.
Now his hands were glowing with dark blue, but he would not use the spell just yet. He had to take out more small fry first.
-Orion's POV-
The idiot went right through Orion's orbs. He wasn't counting on that. Still, Orion always had a back-up plan. In this case, it was a very good one that's not going to end well for Raven.
Using another of his abilities, the Coat of Purity, he encased his left hand in energy, armoring it. This was followed by Orion grabbing Raven's keyblade as it fell. As it was damn near impossible to jump into the air again if your opponent is holding you, that canceled Raven's dodge (speaking sense here). Orion turned and threw Raven at the wall, and if Raven jumped, he would Orion lunging towards him.
During the throw, Orion commented.
"You'll have to do better then that if you want to win."
-Shadow's POV-
A hit. Not deep, but still a hit. Luna dodged back, and Shadow drew his scythe back to him. He was curious to see what the girl did.
"Stop being such a bad liar, you're nothing like me."
Shadow chuckled softly, then stopped as he felt a wet-ness at his feet. Not bothering to remain and find otu what would happen, he rolled to his right, though in a diagonal-like movement so as to put him closer to Luna at the same time. Just barely missing the hit from the water-spout. This girl had more magic then he was led to believe. His allies were in trouble.
"True enough. How about this? I'm an assassin sent to kill you. Make more sense? I suppose you can call me a force of darkness under the pay-roll of the Heartless, though I'm not one."
This was followed by another swing of his scythe, aimed at Luna's torso. Always aim for the center of mass, less chance of a clean miss.
OOC: You guys control the heartless as NPCs.
OOC: Sorry for the short post and my lack of activity. Have been having some issues which are fixed and I'm out of my shell so I'm back.
IC:
Celeste was scared yet she fought gracefully with her magic to defeat the heartless around the area. She focused merely on the smaller once as they were the once that were a pain. However she never took her eyes of Raven and the other man as they were fighting.
Knowing that getting in between two strong people would get her killed she continued to fight the heartless, but for some reason she felt compelled to fight them. It was as if the heartless were friends of her for some reason. Ignoring this faqt she continued to fight with all her might as the heartless became less and less.
Kaufman
A whole clip has been emptied and every shell has the same result. Either they embed themselves into the metal armour or bounce of the curved surface of the morning star. The Heartless was chasing after her, its fist sizzling in the air as its giant hand reduce all it met to rubble. Kaufman cocked the quasi shotgun, breaking the shell rail from the gun, loading it to its max capacity once again. Its erratic movements made it hard for her shells to do any damage as it kept spinning. It had to be stopped in its tracks.
C'mon.... Where, where where?
Before long, Kaufman saw her chance and turned a corner before facing the morningstar. Her back was against the wall, literally. THe timing had to be perfect, otherwise, the great Desiree Kaufman would meet her end as human paste.
Ready.... NOW!
Waiting for the last second, just as the Morningstar leapt forward to pulp her against the wall, Kaufman did a baseball slide under the gigantic body, letting the Heartless embed itself into the wall. Its arm laid uselessly at its side as the mass of its body hung suspended in the wall. Satisfied with a perfectly executed maneuver, Kaufman walked slowly towards the monster, laid Arc into cracks in the armour and proceeded to shoot at every gap. By the time the last shell clattered to the ground, the large monster dissipated into the air.
Heartless down! How's everyone else doing guys?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Chao

There was no time for response. Another attack tore Chao from Eliane. Chao had backflipped away in one direction while Eliane in the other. Unfortunately for her tema mate, the Heartless turned their attention to her and King Mickey. The tanks began blasting away, with one eventually knocking Eliane in the air. If they were to make any progress, the heavy armour had to be stopped. Since no one had yet locked their sights on Chao, the princess decided to run and make a b-line for the back of the Ring Tank. It was almost successful one a Shadow caught sight of her. The Ring Tank that Chao was going for began to turn. A direct melee strike was not possible. The best she could do was this. Bunching her muscles into her right hand, Chyao threw Heathen Flame with all her might. Phoenix fire burst from the key, turning it into a flaming wheel.

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!

It was a nice throw. The keyblade stuck itself in the weak joints of its leg before there fire exploded.
The Ring Tank listed to the left. With one of its legs immobilised, it was made into a much easier target.

The Phantom:

"So what's under the mask anyway?"

"All in due time, my friend." The Phantom said. "Besides, we have a lot to talk about."

Walking up to a door by the end of the alley. The Phantom placed his hand on the left side of the door, opening a switch that allowed the door to slide to the right, revealing an entryway. The Phantom entered the entryway and walked down the corridor to find other people, a few of them clearly heartless, but others were humans (or at least human-like) that had been tainted with the dark, as shown by their darker skin tone and sulphuric-yellow eyes.

One such person walked up to The Phantom and Blade, her legs up on the desk. "So, how was the trip, Leader?"

"Fairly Productive, and quit showing those legs Major, they're distracting." The Phantom retorted. This person was a Recon Major of the Heartless Army, working as a spy on the Heartless forces, under the cover of spying for the Realm of Light.

The Major looked at Blade, "Ooh, so it seems you brought a friend over! What's your name?"

----
Raven:

"What the...?" Was Raven's response upon being thrown by Orion with him now chasing him down.

"You'll have to do better then that if you want to win."

"Oh don't you worry, I got something for you." Raven said pulling out his revolver. Aiming it at Orion, he fired his last 3 shots, the .357 rounds buzzing through the air at supersonic speeds (Mach 1.65/1100 mph, I just calculated.)

Upon firing his last bullet, Raven did his Aerial dodge and backflipped onto his feet.
----
Luna:

Luna sidestepped and ducked to avoid Shadow's swing. Countering with a swing of her own with Mysterious Abyss "An assassin, huh? Well, that suits you, but right now, I plan on living to see the end of this war." In addition to a swing, she fired off a Blizzara Spell right aiming for his torso. "I'm not so sure about you though."

"Shiva, you feel anything on him."

"Yes Luna, something about him doesn't sit well with me. He might have a summon of his own."

----
Eliane and King Mickey:
Quickly getting back on her feet. Eliane saw the tank disabled, but this only led to the second vehicle now coming after the Eastern Cloud Princess. Seeing an opprotunity, Eliane advanced to take out the second tank. However a Darkside appeared and threw a punch in her direction. Timing it right, Eliane jumped up to avoid the punch, and using her staff, threw it right on the joints for the wheels. Due to the joints being mostly spokes, it jammed up movement and only helped to damage it.

Coming back to the ground, Eliane quickly picked up her staff, swung it around and charged back at the second Morning Star. She dodged it's swinging chained maces and using her momentum, jumped up in the air launched 3 sucessive Swinging Jumping Kicks right onto it's face destroying the Heartless.

"Alright, next." Eliane said looking at the remaining 2 Morning Stars.

Laleth walked around a forest. Alreadyy she had gotten lost in thiis place. So far what she had been looking for was not here at all. She walked on and one for what seemed like hours. Heartless were on the prowl and she knew it. Her parisol rested on her shoulders as the sun hit her.

A rustle came from her right and with a flick of her wrist a keyblade had been summoned. She struck at the nearby plants only to see nothing happen. After that she ran through this forest and out into a clearing. She looked around, nothing was theire either. Regrestting ever splitting from the group Laleth walked arouind aimlessly trying to find her way back to the ship.

OOC: Kaufman is a bit dangled since she is waiting for response. So a shitty one for Chao

Chao

The main force of the heartless was done, but two of those gigantic mace like heartless still roamed the field. Chao was sure she could use the same tactic on one of them and her allies was most likely more than capable of dealing with the other one, but time may be short. Best to gang on one and take it down ASAP, then move onto the next. Slowly, Chao kept her sights on the heartless as she moved across the area to regroup with Eliane and King Mickey.

So.... We should gang on one and crush it with overwhelming power and then move onto the next. If we have a people going for each side of its legs, we can immobilise it easier. Ill take left.

"Heartless down, How's everyone else doing, guys?"

Julias was simply slashing away at mall fry, so he shouted back to the one that asked this to say, "I'm doing fine, just a few small guys here. Not a problem for me"
__________________________

Blade obediently followed the Phantom. Though, he still did want to see what was under said mask, but he clearly wasn't meant to know just yet. "Well that's fine I guess"

Then entering a door, there were others in there. A few were like him. One even asked his name. "They call me Blade!" He said with enthusiasm.

OOC: Bad but I owe this badly...

Sanjia, fighting off heartless while trying to keep the ship under allied control, was starting to waver. He had now lost count of how many heartless he had killed, but to him, it was just a number. While fighting, a heartless came up and hit his leg, causing him to go down.

"Ah, fuck!"

Fighting the pain, he got up and kept fighting. He knew that someone was going to come and help him, he just didn't know if he would be alive when that happened.

OOC: Sorry it took so long. Lack of inspiration... but it's all good now.

IC: -Orion's view-

"Oh don't you worry, I got something for you."

This was said as Raven pulled out his revolver and fired 3 shots, probably his last as he fired 3 earlier, at Orion. One whizzed by his ear, though it didn't hit. Another hit his left hand, though it still had a bit of a shield around it left, so it was deflected. And the last one grazed his arm, drawing a slight bit of blood, stinging, but ignored.

Raven then performed an aerial dodge. As Orion was pretty close to the ground, he let his feet hit the floor, only to lunge and change direction, aiming at Raven once again. And just to add insult to injury, Orion unleashed 5 orbs of energy at Raven as well.

-Shadow's view-

Shadow's scythe came up to block the keyblade the girl swung.

"An assassin, huh? Well, that suits you, but right now, I plan on living to see the end of this war."

As she launched a blizzara spell, Shadow released his scythe and jumped into the air to avoid it.

"I'm not so sure about you though."
"I never pay attention to other people's opinions. Sorry to say, but you will die."

Shadow then drew out his jet sword and performed an over-head slash on the girl, who probably thought that Shadow was weaponless at the moment.

OOC: This will be our last rounds on this battle before we move on.

Raven-

Raven ducked for a split second to avoid Shadow's lunging attack, followed by using his keyblade to launch and upward diagonal slash at close range. It wasn't a complete swing, as halfway through, Raven moved away from Orion's Energy Orb attack. "Always keeping me on the defensive." Raven muttered as he started to outrun his attack. Running up a wall, Raven tossed his revolver and his Keyblade at one of the orbs, it was a gamble though, though the Keyblade would survive any damage the orbs would give him, his revolver probably would not.

Nonetheless, Raven needed to change the tide of this battle quickly, he needed a new strategy.

----

-Luna

"I never pay attention to other people's opinions. Sorry to say, but you will die."

Luna saw Shadow draw out his own sword and swing at her. She was surprised that the little creature even had a backup weapon.

Luna had to quickly stepped back to avoid the swing, then counter with an upward launching swing, and a split second roundhouse kick in an attempt to knock the moogle back away. "It's a shame, probably should listen to people's opinions, you might learn a thing or two." Luna said back.

"No time to get cocky, he's only holding back."
Shiva said in her head.

----
Elaine:
With the efforts of Chao and Eliane, the pair reduced their numbers to just a Darkside and a Ring Tank. Chao said, So.... We should gang on one and crush it with overwhelming power and then move onto the next. If we have a people going for each side of its legs, we can immobilize it easier. Ill take left.

"All right, I'll take right." Elaine ran forward, amidst fire from the Ring Tank's Ray Bomb. Elaine learned her lesson from the last time, and performed a combat roll away from the area of fire. Once close enough, Elaine did a heel kick, crushing the joint connecting the tank to the heel in one clean sweep. With her side clear, she now focused on the Darkside. She would provide Chao a distraction so she could finish it off in one clean sweep.

----
The Phantom:

"They call me Blade!"

"Blade, such a nice name"
The Major said, "Just call me Major. Me and The Phantom go back a long way."

"Alright, Alright, spare him the details, what's the situation going on with the military?"

The Major scowled, then said, her yellow eyes gleaming. "Ever since the death of the last Arbiter...no offense Hrimfaxi..." The Major said that to the new Arbiter early on so that she wouldn't feel bad. "...The Heartless have ceased full scale attacks, but now that they have their new Arbiter ready. They are now planning a daring offensive against 2 major targets, from what I've heard, it is both major areas, Traverse Town, and Eastern Cloud."

The Phantom responded,"Have they decided when the attack will be launched?"

"I don't know, however, judging from how preparations are going and how they don't have intel on the Army of Light's plans, I can say they would not have enough time before Hamilton's forces make their move."

"Hamilton..." It has been a while since the Phantom has heard that name. He started to wonder why Hamilton has resurfaced, and why he is leading the Forces from the Realm to attack.

"Alright, well we will see what we can do, we'll hold up for now, get in contact with our other team in the Northern Ravines. Blade, we might need to put your skills to the test soon enough."

Managing to bring himself to his feet, Tsuki had to find himself a settlement of some kind, who knew if stragglers from the attack were nearby? Since he couldn't hear anything in this forest aside from the occasional rustle of leaves it was safe to say it was uninhabited, with a stretch of his arms he began to look around.

Coming to an open clearing it seemed like he'd been walking for hours, where the hell was he? Was this world made up purely of forest? This was a lot different to his world, he had to find someone soon. After standing around for several minutes he heard the sound of some nearby bushes, perhaps someone was nearby? He heard the familiar sound of a keyblade being summoned, but that couldn't be, he was the destined hero... How could another hold the power of the keyblade, unless this was his enemy, perhaps related to the incident? It was better not to jump to strange conclusions, once he could identify the target he could determine the truth for himself.

Exiting the clearing he tried his best to track down the target before he was found, while not his specialty it was all he could do right now.

ooc: Rawrskx, ye're the one i've heard, you can either elude me or get caught/confront me, up to ye :monster:
