The Soul Spear

The look on her face became even more puzzled. In danger? Acompany them? What kind of plot was this.

"I'm in no danger I assure you. If the guards are after me then let them come, I'll be long gone from the city before they find me. I'm don't need your protection and I don't quite understand why your offering in the first place. What could you possibly gain from my company?"

She didn't mean for her reply to be so biting, but their claim and offer had happened so abruptly that her guard had been compromised. She gazed at each of them.

"Trust me, its more trouble than you think. I'm dangerous..."

Aria's gaze slipped to the side of them. If they knew of the destruction she had caused for so many towns and people, they would not be anywhere near her.

''Thats the reason we...(looks at Jin)...I want you to join us. I once met a person with two souls, and believe me the other soul was more violent then main soul.''

Yaldamar remembers Thermesa's cold and violent voice when she took over Steadler's body. But she didn't last long against Wraith.

''What I was saying is that you and your other soul would be useful to us, just till we reach our destination.''

Although Yaldamar was thinking that her other soul would be useful, he couldn't say that to her because she might decline the suggestion.

''Oh, and I didn't have a chance to ask you your name, young lass.''

Thermesa watched in awe as Steadler slashed at the two charging men, both went down. Their blood splashed down his shirt. Neither were killed.
Don't show mercy on them boy!
'I'm going to let you guys live ...okay?' steadler asked as he kicked ones head. 'You guys might just bleed to death .... might.'
Steadler ... do it.
'But of course you aren't getting the easy way out by me killing you,' his vioce filled with hatred.

The boy ran straight after he was cut free. He yelled back to Steadler 'I know you.'

'Don't come back.'

"Two souls? I don't know what your talking about.... I'm just me... just Aria...no one else."

She had enough, their claims were crazy and her patiance which was usually pretty full had depleted. She moved to walk past, but they were both in her way. She backed up once again and crossed her arms.

"I'm no help to anyone, please let me pass?"

Jin stepped aside.

"I will not try to stop you, this is your choice." he said, with a mild tine

"however, you have to have some skills, I can feel it on your blade, it has seen a lot of battles, and you do not look like the one scarred by them" he smiled

Jin has a nack for these things, after all, a warriors weapon, was like a diary, and jin could read it like an open book.

"You have to be skilled in some ways of battle." He looked at her
"I for one, don't know what the hell those 2 soul thing is, but Id like to have you with us, for the company, and the extra able warrior"

Jin looked at Yaldamar, and back at Aria
"Also, you look way cuter then that thing" he stated. as he pointed at the pirate.

He deliberately called Yaldy a thing, to make the level of comparing clear.

This was off course, said with a smile. from Jin.

Aria felt herself blush. Company... It had been so long since she had been on her own. This was probably the most conversation she had made in a very long time. She looked down at her feet and the back up at the two.

"Ok..." She said simply.

"I'll travel with you."

Hearing what Jin said and Aria's reply, Yaldamar looks at both of them and sighs. Then he lowers his head to Jin's ear and whispers...

''You may be a charmer, but don't call me 'thing' again. As you could see earlier, I ain't a joker.''

Yaldamar straights his head, keeping his face not to show angry expression, and says to both of them...

''Well then, our first destination is... Havlad I think it was the name. There we rest, and other things, and head straight to any port city that is not near Valactia.''

"To a port, eh?" Jin replies in a joking manor
"could it be to 'acquire' a new ship" He asks, with special detail to the word 'acquire'
"After all, the one you had, is somewhat in a bad shape" Jin smiles. after all. It was yaldy's own fault that it sank, though, he had his reasons.

"Yea, Havlad was the name. Fcret has a nifty shop in there. I might pick up a thing or 2 myself" He smiles.
"its around a rays walk to get there, so I suggest we get started." Jin informed, as he started to walk towards the exit.

''Acquiring a ship is easy, but the only my fault is that I chose scumbags as my crew, the thing you saw before was the smallest thing I could do to them.''

Yaldamar also starts towards the exit and stops at the door, turns to face Jin and Aria and says...

''Well, Jin and Aria, lets get going. If it will take days to reach Havlad, then lets get going.''

Havlad?

'What the hell are you talking about, ther?
That was the place we were going to right. How about we just stop all this revenge stuff.
'I'm not after revenge. You read the note. I have to find him. and besides the village is on the way to Havlad remember. We were going to aviod it.'
Steadler ... are you going to kill him?
'I just don't know girl, seriously.'
I would ...
'I'm not stupid.' Steadler was a little calmer now.
Is the village close to here.
'Can't say. It's about two days outside of Havlad though. I think we could make it to the village in two days.'
Will you kill the head villager?
'What him? I don't no.'
I know you have some sort of relationship with him, you hide it well.
'Quiet. If we walk through the night from there we could make it to Havlad by the following evening maybe.'
Yes?
'Then I guess we'll spend time at an inn'
Steadler walked off in the newly lit day.
___________
I guess I can't really post for a while - until you guys start journeying to Havlad any way. A few days will pass in thr world time at the start of my next post.
While I'm waiting I'll write my post

Aria nodded to her new companions. She felt odd as she followed them. She kept her eyes on her feet as she walked.

Jin followed Yaldamar as well.
Aria seemed shy. Or rather, uneasy.
No one could blame her. so Jin ignore it for now.
Yaldamar stated an interesting fact.

The fact that, that was the smallest thing he could do to them. Made one think about what he severe penalty could be.
After a minute thinking on he possibilities, Jin agreed. If it could be worse, they where indeed lucky.

As yet walked, Jin took out a marble. And started flicking it in the air, and letting it fall back into his hand.
A pass of time if you will. Just something to keep ones hands busy.

"So" Jin started. "What will you do for crew this time" He smiled to Yaldy.

''Crew is easy to gather, the only thing you need to gather a crew is some barrels full of rum on your ship. But since rum brings scumbags, we may or may not be without crew.''

Yaldamar exits the Inn and looks around with face expression telling 'Where now?'. Pirate turns his head to look at Jin and says...

''Where now 'magnetical' one.''

"Magnetical one, eh?" He smiled as he looked around.

"It should be That way" he stated, while pointing along one of the roads.

Yaldamar looks at the direction Jin showed. The path lead deep into the forest. But Yaldamar had to trust Jin at thisone since he doesn't know this place by land.

''Ahh, you lead. Land is not my territory.''

Yaldamar steps aside to let Jin, and Aria, to go first. But he thought how would Jin react to that, so before Jin said anythings Yaldamar says...

''Do not worry, lad. I won't draw my rapier on you. You are the one who knows where the demon's treasure lies.

"He was a half breed. but yeah." Jin started walking, but turned, and looked at yaldamar.
"Dont worry, I can feel your every metal object" he smiled. He turned back, and started walking.

"So. this will take around a day. What should we do on the road" jin asked, almost like a kid.

Yaldamar starts following Jin. Havlad is a day or two away from their current position so it will be something like 'nothing-to-do' till they reach the destination.

''I'd prefer some actions and...'', he looks at Aria, ''...bah! Maybe not worth mentioning.''

Aria wasn't sure what to make of Yaldamar's comment. She gave him and uneasy look and continued to follow.
"Maybe we should get some horses. It was make travel faster. I have enough coin for two."
She wondered what item they were seeking in their destination, but thought it better not to ask. She didn't really care after all. She didn't have any goals except be of use to her new companions. She shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly.
"Just a thought..."

Jin stopped in his tracks.
"well. horsens can do fine, but I doubt you'd pay for 2, and let one walking"

He turned around "not only this, but you're actually trusting a Thief, and a pirate with horses"
Jin didn't mean to scare her, but she should know what might happen. what choices where there.

Jin did not have the idea to betray her. Though, thinking of the pirates personality, no one knew about him.

''Aria could be right, horses would short our trip for about half a day. But since you have enough for two horses, two of us will have to ride on one.''

Yaldamar looks at Jin and Aria with face expression showing 'why not you two'. But Yaldamar gets another idea and says...

''Either that or I could use my 'negotiation' skills.''
