some far cry 3

i spent like the last 30 hours murdering every guy skinning his own dead boar in the middle of nowhere, just to find out there was a place to kill boars on an uncharted part of my map -________-

i got 3 guys wanting me to repair their vehicles in consecutive sucession, i swore the next one i ran into that i was going to fix his car, take his money, and then take his car. i haven't seen another one since then and dropped the blowtorch for an LMG :sad3:

I'm still playing Ni No Kuni (these errands really make the game a whole damn lot longer :wacky: ). T'is still good, with the Winterlands being seriously stunning. I always love snow in games :lew:. Currently getting 3 familiars to fully morph for an errand...taking forever.

Also playing Wipeout Vita. I looooved Wipeout HD for PS3, so I thought I'd give it a go (especially since it was free). It's so good! So much to do, loads of vehicles to choose from and the music is as amazing as ever.

Borderlands 2 - Not playing this one so much until NNK is finished off, but I'm currently at level 30ish I think. Sorta got a million sidequests to beat before I carry on properly.

And got Virtue's Last Reward free with my Game reward points (which is the sequel to 999: that old DS visual novel/game). Looking forward to that one. Also got Persona 4 Golden. I never beat this on the ps2, but I loved every second until the point where I stopped (the last dungeon I think). Reeeally looking forward to that one too.

It feels like I've spent loads on all these, but most have been either free or heavily discounted :griin:

I've spent a day playing Ken's Rage 2 and bouncing between LA Noire and this game before switching to the newer game sets. For PC, I've been sticking to just playing League of Legends and purchasing skins for their use in the game. It's been alot more addictive than the other console games.

still playing FC3, but im kind of disappointed with it

It's been mostly fun, pretty great game. some stuff as crazy as saints row, but a little bit more realistic. I'm mostly disappointed in the character himself. I don't usually dislike characters, especially the main character. But it's just like, what the fuck mate? You start the game, he's all

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD. MY FRIENDS, I HAVE TO SAVE THEM

4 hours later

well both my brothers are dead...

soo.... uh...

well, bye girlfriend my brothers girlfriend, pothead and rape victim that i risked my life to save and searched furiously for. it's my destiny to become rakyat warrior, fuck this sweet african pussy and become the leader of this tribe by killing Vaas and Hoyt. I'm even more annoyed by the way he treats the woman that is supposedly his girlfriend. I don't even get the impression that they were ever together. There is no connection at all and any interaction that they do have consists of him asking her to fuck off.

So I reiterate; What the fuck?

No real goodbye. Just "I'm Jason, I'm a Rakyat Warrior. Fuck you guys, I'm staying here. Bye". And despite my obvious attempt to be facetious here, it's really not much of an exaggeration.

Other than that though, it's been a pretty good experience. Almost have all the outposts, got half the letters :D, probably beating the game soon

Dead Space 3
PS3

I am currently playing through Dead Space 3 with Big Casino....I never thought I'd ever catch myself playing a game like this... It's scary but playing with a partner is dulling it down a bit for me which is good haha. There have been a few bits that have made me jump already but I think I'm doing rather well at the game :D

Also I only died once in the "float through space and avoid the debris" bit where as Lew died aboutttt.....five times /smug

pfffft i never died once Squid and you died like 99999999999 times

and a few times you jumped? :wacky: It was more than that. The stressed look on your face was priceless :lew:

I've gone back to the first Borderlands. I got the the game of the year ediiton and I left it for awhile when BL2 came out. Now I'm done with BL2 and I figured I might as well get my money out of it and do the dlc's and finish the trophies. It's pretty fun, actually :ohoho: I just finished the Zombie Island of Dr. Ned. I liked it much more than any of the dlc's for BL2 so far. I'm really glad I went back to this game after neglecting it so.

Persona 2 Eternal Punishment, straight from the PSN to my PSP :ari:

The localization is surprisingly good, and since I've completed Innocent Sin already, I can point out the various differences. :)

DmC: Devil May Cry

I really don't know what the fuss was about this game, it's pretty much everything I expected in a DMC game. The story is a little cheesy and less dramatic than traditional DMC games and they should probably get someone to work on Dante's lines, but pretty much the DMC experience.

I enjoyed it, but the skins do seem too little, too late to me, unless you're the kind of person that replays on higher/different difficulties. Not really enough skins to warrant that, imo. I'm also very disappointed in the classic dante skin, doesn't really mesh, but that's game companies and dlc for you.

looks like something someone did in their free time

also replaying DMC4 on Xbox, for achievements :D

Tomb Raider

I love the new Tomb Raider thus far. Very dark and gritty, but Lara is still Lara, just...younger. Game play thus far has been very smooth, and they have done a fine job of balancing the wandering aspect and the linear paths; not too open, not too linear. I'd suggest this game to any Tomb Raider fans, as well as any survivalist or Far Cry fans. Excellent game. :ryan:

I just bought Tomb Raider a couple of hours ago after class. I really like the game so far and I am about 3 hours in. I played 3 hours straight just to experience it and I did not want to play the whole thing in a day. I love this game and the only thing I miss is navigating to different countries for treasure. I must admit that it has given me a little bit of scares and I think it is quite normal since it is survival horror in a way. The scavengers really do remind me of those crazy Serbian soldiers in Uncharted 2 except that not all of them speak foreign languages. The combat is nice and it is quite easy to die. I have died a few times already from some enemies who lurk in a corner where I do not notice them. I have been killed by a wolf about twice due to not pressing the button in time. Gruesome deaths, and I really prefer if I could avoid them.

One thing I find extremely fun is the camp sites. It is really fun to upgrade your weapons and see them get added effects. The bow does fit the theme of the adventure. but I do miss Lara having her infinite double pistols. Seeing her wield one single handed is a bit weird. The graphics are superb, the sound really does sound real and it immerses me even more.

I love Lara like this. This is the way she should be even though it is an origin story. She really needs to survive and even if it means shooting these scavenger arseholes. Personally after her first kill it was really hard for her to move on but she quickly decides that her life is of value and her Father always told her that.

All this being said.

I really like the game from what I played so far. I hope it gets better and better. I absolutely love the environments on Yamatai. I really do feel for Lara but at least she is not showing off so much skin like her older self. The things she already had to go through the first 3 hours..... Lara's new voice is great and in my opinion just sounds like a younger Keeley Hawes. Miss Luddington is not so bad after all.

I appreciate the backstory this title has given. I hope more comes along. I know for sure I will be doing more than one play through. Maybe I will try the rip off of UC multiplayer just to have a laugh.

I've been splitting time between Persona 3 and Disgaea 4. I also have Vanquish waiting in the wings from PS+. Not enough time! Crysis 3 is also close to coming up for me at the site where I trade games.

i am currently playing ffxiii-2 and it is so great. probably because i love mog. and that i haven't played a final fantasy in about 84 years. its weird having to get used to the battle system again after playing games where u control your character 100% of the time. the only thing that has annoyed me so far is the casino bc this bitch tells me 'that machine is on fire' and i get like 2 wins every 50 plays on the slot machines and i know i need to win a lot of coins to get a fragment to then get the platinum for this game

I'm playing Ni No Kuni. This is probably the CUTEST game I've played so far. It like, emotionally draws you into it too like I got drawn in with the opening half hour of the game. It's very well thought out and heartwarming, even. The music is well done and the map is pretty much breathtaking :lew: The monsters are so cute though I feel reallly guilty killing them :( This is undeniably a bit of a kids game, but I'm really loving it so far. I'm so glad I got this and put it in today. It's cheered me up a bit.

Just finished "Finally" completing FFVIII and have move onto Grandia. I played Grandia not to long ago got to disc 2 then just kinda fell away from it. So I bought it on PSN which will make it easier to play since I can lay on my bed and be lazy with my wireless controller :P

After playing some Tomb Raider for awhile I went back to continue Xenogears. Still playing TR on the side and I am so close to being done with all the collectibles. I did try the multiplayer and it is basically Uncharted multiplayer but with so much randomness and explosions. Too many good weapons.... everybody is just picking you off with a bow from long range. It is so unbalanced. I cannot see myself playing it much.

Anyhow as for Xenogears I am currently 37 hours in right now. I had a nightmare of a time with babel tower yesterday. My god that dungeon is so frustrating! Enemies trap you and you have to time perfect jumps near the end or you are back to the lower level. Frickin platformer near the end is the bane of all existence since the platforms you step on are actually enemies and they reactivate if you fall to the lower level. That whole dungeon had me pissed off for a good 3-4 hours and I still had the urge to continue it. I remember it being this bad when I played long ago but still! I am on spring break, so hopefully I will be done Xenogears before the break ends. I am making it my priority next to working. As always.... I am loving it and I am so glad I decided to replay it by psn. It brings back lots of memories.

i am reluctantly playing final fantasy 13

borrowed it from a friend, its not nearly as terrible as i remember, even though admittedly the game still has some very frustrating flaws imo

Well, I'm juggling Persona 3, FF7, Xenogears, and soon-to-be Persona 4. I'm almost at the part where Aerith is brutally stabbed in the torso in FF7 and where Elly gets all high on drive in Xenogears, so yeah :)

There are three games I am playing
First one is Final Fantasy XIII-2, I am trying to get all the fragments and get 100% for the game (pain in the ass a alittle, but im doing it!)

Also taking care of my backlog list of games I own that I never beat, which right now is Dark Cloud! I love the game, so I wonder why I never beat it?
Probably cause I get distracted with someth... OHH SHINY PENNY!

last game is Walking Dead, and it is really like one of those "novel games' I call them, where you make choices and see them play out. Really is pretty fun, I'd recommend getting it if you like the Walking Dead series.
