[V2] Last Movie You've Seen

Gangs of New York
I am only 21 minutes into it and so far it is one of the most thought-provoking, captivating, and well-made movies I have ever seen. Real eye-opener to those ignorant about the topics discussed in it (Do not wanna get into anything on here)

Also, am I the only person on here who seems not to give a shit about the new Harry Potter? lol

Tarzan

PG

10/10

I freakin' love all disney movies... But I really like this one too. Headstrong female, Intelligent, brave, also headstrong (and shirtless) male. Music is amazing, story was awesome. There is really nothing bad I can say about this classic! If you haven't seen it already, I suggest you rent it... like now.

Easy A

Fuckin awesome. I expected it to be another one of those Mean Girls wannabe movies that end with that really lame and shitty 'feel-good feeling ending', but no. This was brilliant. Definitely Emma Stone's Mean Girls, but in its own way. I'm buying that shit. It was just too good.

I also developed an insane crush on that hot bitch.

Paranormal Activity 2

I gotta say I absolutely loved this. I was told it'd be kinda alright but it was better than I thought. I was pretty upset with the ending with the couple diein', but eh...That's movies for ya :P

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete

Wanted to put on a film this afternoon while I was doing some Uni work and I hadn't seen this in such a long time. It's only my second time watching the Complete version, but it feels so much better now it's expanded. There were a few scenes that had me laughing. I loved the Cloud and Sephiroth battle. Like the entire film itself, it feels so much better to have that longer version. The snippets into the Turks and Denzel were also interesting.

8/10

Robin Hood

I must say, this was a pretty good movie. Not the best Russel Crowe film, but still not shit. Loved the fight scenes, and laughed at the few funny bits that I saw.

9/10

The Warrior's Way--8/10

Saw this last weekend, and it was quite good, though it's one of those movies where it's kind of thematically disturbing in a few places, and I'm not sure whether I would see it again :hmmm: It's the new one with Dong-gun Jang, Geoffrey Rush :yay:, and Kate Bosworth, and they were all very good in their roles. It was a very stylized movie with lots of slo-mo unrealistic action scenes, kind of like 300, but this movie had a very good story, about a top-notch Asian warrior who finds himself in trouble with two warring clans, and has to hide out in an old West town in America, which has its own problems. It's a bit depressing overall once it gets to the end, but it's well-told, and there are a lot of funny scenes/lines in it. Worth watching, especially if you like that sort of thing.

Movie: American Pie 3: The Wedding

Rating: M

Comments: The third and second movie are my favourites of all four. XD

I absolutely love Stifler! He makes the movie so freakin' hilarious!

Just the look in his eyes makes me fall off the edge of my seat. XD

I think it was so cute how Jim and Michelle came together in the second movie and that they got married in the third. <3

The cutest couple. XD

And Jims dad is seriously the coolest and most understanding father EVER!

I hope Steve and I are like that with our kids if we ever have any.

Score: 10/10

Movie: RED

I just finished watching it. This movie. :rage: IT'S AMAZING. I HAD NO WORDS. The plot is a little fast-paced and confusing, but it was worth watching every second. There were tinges of comedy, which were terrific. The fighting/killing scenes were fantastic. :ohoho: Very well directed. Fantastic casting and acting: Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren. I love this movie--it's going on my top 5 favorite action films. :rage:

coach carter

Rating: PG-13

Comments: I liked the movie. It was the best basketball movie I have even seen in a long time. I like the prat when when coach cater locked the gym until the kids started to do good in school. Even when the state voted to unlock the gym, the kid still study until they meet the pass the class.
Score: 9/10

The Expendibles

Great movie. Didn't know what to expect from a movie with so many big name guys in it, but it turned out to be good. Had some funny parts in it, and lots of action, which is what I wanted.

10/10

harry potter and the deathly hollows

Megamind

This was...alright, I guess. I like the idea of it, but it wasn't quite as funny as I was hoping it'd be, and there just HAD to be some godawful cheesy romance in it. The beginning was pretty epic and was a complete mockery of a stereotypical "diabolical villain threatens leading woman" sort of scene, but the middle was boring and the ending was predictable. I've seen it so many times in so many other movies that it just doesn't have an impact anymore.
...I did love Megamind's frequent mispronunciations, though. "Metrocity" indeed. xD

7/10

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole

I've no idea why the hell I even watched this and for the first time, I'm ashamed that I wasted my sodding time. No offense, but I couldn't stand the Australian accents either. It only gets one point for
the protagonist's brother dying after their fight.
It failed to amaze me. It failed really hard. And I could care less if this is such a kiddy film and has cliches of good versus evil. I was not impressed.

1/10

Movie: Bride Wars

Rating: M

Comments: Love this movie!

I do however think that Anne Hathaway always tends to look washed out and sick. =/

Must just be her pale skin.

Anyway I love how they just got really into destroying each others weddings. XD

So much effort! If they had only focused on putting that effort into sorting out a solution to their problem.

But then it wouldn't have been a movie. XD

The Young Victoria

Young_victoria_poster.jpg

This was the last movie I watched that was on my Netflix list. I love period films, and this one was nothing short of awesome. It was about Victoria's rise to power and her marriage to prince Albert. This movie had a good blend of romance (I loved the sweet little parts with two people writing letters back and forth, kindof beating around the bush the love that they have for each other and etc... *squeels* *so sweet*)and...the reason why I watch these movies for the most part: drama. 10/10.

Inception

I rented this today and I'm still under shock. It was simply amazing. I really loved "memento" from the same director but now he just exceeded himself. It's the story of a idea theft (an his crew) that penetrate a person's dream to steal (or implement in this case) an idea in the subject's subconscious. The plot is complex and concept of dreams and the different levels of dreams are well explained.

I think the story between Mal and Cobb could have been developed a bit more. I also found that there was a bit too much action in it. The ending is good
as you still don't know if Cobb is dreaming or is in the reality.

Overall, a clever movie and probably one of the best I saw in 2010. 9.5/10

I just finished watching Wall-E on ABC Family (tv is fixed. <3), and some people already know that I'll never get tired of this movie. Its one of the best Pixar films that I have seen so far, and really I'm not sure if the words I'm using can cover how much I love it. I will say how the storyline is very clever and interesting (based on the Bible story of Noah and the ark, when Noah sends out a dove to look for land.), and the whole movie is just unique. 'Nuff said .

Scott pilgrim vs the world

I give it a 9/10

Rated : PG-13

I liked the movie. I actually like the storyline and how he changes throughout the movie. Strange ending but what can you expect. The main character is strange himself. At the end, where
he dies then gets revived by the one up
, i was expecting it to happen when he first found it.

The Chronicles of Narnia- The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

I thought this was a really great addition to the Narnia movies. There was a lot of action in this movie...and the effects were pretty mind-blowing, even for a Narnia movie. This time only 1/2 of of the kids are on another adventure but you meet new and old characters, and I thought the plot was pretty decent. This movie isn't as big of a hit in the theatres as the other two were, and I don't see why...I think its just as good as the other two, if not better. 9/10.
