Drop Dead, Gorgeous - Red or White Wine? [click to listen]

I started listening to Drop Dead, Gorgeous when I was in 7th grade. By the time, not a lot of people except for the friends I had were into metal or screamo music. Then about two years later their newer album came out with this being the very first track. The album's genre is Hardcore, and I like the majority of the rock/metal genres - but what I really liked about this song was the lyrics. They are extremely deep if you understand them well enough. I had just started listening to them again yesterday and realized how much I really liked them.

Pink - Raise Your Glass

A pretty good song. I like the fact it's so laidback, whilst it tackles some pretty serious issues at hand. It's a really good video and love Pink as a vocalist. It's spontaneous, but is funny. It's certainly different from some of the stuff she does, but I think anyone who likes her will certainly love this.

10/10

Separate Ways(Worlds Apart) - A Skylit Drive

A cover of a Journey song, and I must say that when I first heard this song, I was quite amazed. The clean and unclean vocals arranged all around are really great. I really liked the beginning; it's so amazing :gasp:. I'm a deep lover of screamo music, so automatically this caught my eye, but even more, this is a good screamo song by a great Post-Hardcore band :ryan:.

Loving it to the max. :jess:

Take That - The Flood

It's really hard to believe it, but Take That have released their first song as a fivesome for the first time in fifteen years. I never thought Robbie would return myself, but it did happen. I really like this song, despite the fact I can get sick of Robbie's voice sometimes. It's a great song to openly discuss their problems and their return to working together once more. The lyrics are so meaningful and when they sing together in the chorus, it's fantastic.

10/10

Paint it Black - VersaEmerge

Quite the cover of a classic. One thing I noticed about this song is that they made it almost exactly like the original, and that's great, but i also like originality. Aside from it being an almost exact copy of the orignal, I love Sierra Kusterbeck's voice, so nothing else matters. :mokken:

Rammstein - Mann Gegan Mann.
I've always been a Rammstein fan. their unique style of singing always wakes me up and stimulates my beain cells. I heard they're all been convicted of something dangerous before the forming of the band but who cares, their music rocks!

next on the list is

Dir en grey - Hageshisa To, Kono Mune No Naka De Karamitsuita Shakunetsu No Yami (long song title huh?)
Another fave band. They sing about controversial issues in life such as abortion ect, but sticking to their "rock" syle. this has to be one of my favorate songs, besides Kodo and Obscure.

Animal Collective - Summertime Clothes [click to listen]

It's official. Animal Collective is added on to my list of bands that I'll never get tired of. Their songs always seem to make me reflect on adventures that I've had/would like to have, that and their songs are just really catchy. Especially this one, and it makes me miss Summer vacation (though Thanksgiving Break is coming up. Haha.). I'm not sure why, but this song to me is kind of like a reminder to continue to live your life to the fullest without an obstacle in your path. Very enjoyable song indeed .

leaders of the free world - elbow
fast becoming my favourite song by them. this is definitely their best album, it has a good blend of songs that all flow nicely together.

Emergency - Paramore

Love this song. The lyrics are amazing, the video clip is drop dead gorgeous, and the music is just pure Paramore. I'm a huge fan of Paramore, and it's become one of my favourite bands, if not my favourite. Just blasting this song, and killing time until I gotta head out to work.

Vampires Will Never Hurt You - My Chemical Romance

Pretty good song :ryan:. I love Gerard's voice in this, and the indi rock sound in this song really makes it all so much better. Sure it's a different sound from their latest, but this, in my opinion is one of their best songs. :ryan:

Shana - If I Was Her [click to listen]

I don't think anyone's heard this song, because it had came out late October. But this is a very beautiful song in my opinion, and I think every girl has experienced what the lyrics describe in their life at least once. I found it last night, and I listened to it a lot this morning on my way to school since I was pretty upset. It made me reflect on other things, and I eventually got kind of emotional; but I managed to get myself together for the rest of the day. The song just brings me to a tranquil state of mind .

Early Sunsets Over Monroe - My chemical Romance

Wow oh wow, this song just really made my heart beat like never before. The drums, and guitar along with the emotion that Gerard puts into the lyrics really made this song as awesome, and emotional that is came out to be. I like how in the beginning it went from silent, and calm, into deeply tragic in the end. This song is truly one of the best songs I've heard, hands down. :ryan:

Think About It - Stevie Nicks

I've had this song on repeat for about an hour now, I love it. Her vocal is incredible, and I love the lyrics in this song. The harmonies with her backup girls are wonderful too. I really like the piano in this one, too. I think one of the Heartbreakers is playing for her, and it produces a more distinctive sound.

Trading Yesterday - For You Only

It's a very rocky song and kind of reminds me of a mix of Evanescence and Breaking Benjamin. I like that there's more music in here than any of More Than This. The lyrics are so deep and meaningful. The piano playing towards the end is so beautiful with the orchestra in the background.

Early Sunsets Over Monroeville - My Chemical Romance

:x3: OMG, this song just gets me every time I play it, and currently it's on repeat, and has been for the past hour or so. The lyrics just get to me every time, and I can't get enough of it. It'll be a good 3 hours before I switch songs :lew:. Yes, this song is THAT good :mokken:

Cheryl Cole - Promise This

Goodness me, I've been hooked on this lately. It's one of those songs I really don't want to listen to, but find myself doing it regardless of anything. Admittedly, Cheryl isn't the best vocalist in the world. However, the production of this is put together superbly and a step up from the likes of Fight For This Love. The alouette parts are goddamn catchy and the lyrics are really meaningful, strangely connecting to her malaria battle some months ago. The shit voice aside, it's put together nicely and it's a lovely result.

The sad thing is that I kinda grew to dislike Lennon's version after the radio overplayed it for the 500th time last year, which is a pity because it's not a bad little song.

At any rate, this seems to have rekindled my general liking for the whole thing. She does a nice job with it.

*begins compiling a new Christmas CD to burn*

Alien- Tokio Hotel

My favorite band of all time. This is a great song to dance to, I think. However, the band members first language is NOT english, so the lyrics aren't as good as the german version. (It has the same name.)

All in all, I love this song

Moonspell- For a Taste of Eternity

This is definitely one of the heavier, more intense and more guitar-driven Moonspell songs and one of the few songs on this album where the black metal elements previously on Wolfheart seriously shines through. Definitely one of the highlights of the "Irreligious" album.

Hungarian Dance no.5
by Johannes Bhrams

Probably one of the known classical pieces. I was just thinking of returning to my Classical Music playlist, because I'm starting to realize I get oh-so horribly distracted when I listen to Paramore and study. I'd end up singing along, and totally ditching whatever I'm doing just to sing along...

Which is bad. Classical music should help me focus more, with it's usually ambient sort of music. Well, in the sense that it won't make me go singing along, at the very least... And not make studying such a dull affair with little to no music.
