Oceanlab- Satellite

This is a classic trance song. The whole satellite part of it reminds me of how I look at the stars and occasionally catch a glimpse of a satellite moving around between the stars... and I think about someone that I really care about...how you can be so far away from someone, but you sleep under the same night sky and thats how you know you aren't really "that" far away from them. The lyrics are absolutely beautiful:

"You're half a world away
but in my mind I whisper every single word you say
and before you sleep at night,
you pray to me your lucky star
your singing satellite"

Money Money Money - ABBA

Oh ABBA, my first loves. Everyone knows this song, it's just a classic. The piano is haunting, and the harmonies are brilliant. I love Frida's lead vocal on this song too, so dark and passionate. The chorus is damned catchy too, I'll be singing it all day. :lew:

Song of Ancients (Lost Androids Mixuxux) - Keiichi Okabe

From the NieR arranged album. Whilst overshadowed by other tracks on the album (specially, The Wretched Automatons acappella and the Blu Bird remix), I'm still quite fond of this. I don't listen to dance/techno music very often, so this is a nice change, and the effects added to the singer's voice are quite effective. It couldn't be any more different from the other versions, but it's just as catchy ♥

Take That - Wait

This is unusually catchy. I've only heard it once and this is my second time hearing it, but I quite like it. It's still annoying seeing Robbie Williams dominating the vocals on 80% on the songs, though. Whenever they all sing together, their vocals and harmonies work fantastically. The piano in the background is quite haunting and gives it an enigmatic feel.

Maroon5- Give A Little More

I love the new stuff that Maroon5 has come up with. Its a little less melodramatic in the lyrics and much more upbeat...like this song :monster: The lyrics of this song usually stick in my head all day, they are so catchy. 8/10

Gary Go- Wonderful

The Geeky dude :wacky:

Anyway, I really like this song. His voice is soft and elegant. I like the meaning of the song and, songs with meaning, are the best songs <3 I also really liked the dancers that followed his moves thought that was pretty neat :D I'm actually surprised that Gary Go isn't that famous per say. I'd like to look more into the music.

We are miracles!

Memory - Avantasia

I honestly can't explain it, but there's something mind-naggingly familiar about the tune during the chorus/refrain.

BWAAAGH I KNOW I'VE HEARD IT BEFORE >.<

(Also one of the voices sounds kinda like Serj Tankian, even though he's not on the album at all...)

Mars Lasar- "Holiness"

Unfortunately I don't have a clip for this one because he's not particularly well-known, but this album of his "Karma" has to be one of the most refreshing things I've listened to in a long while. It's all instrumental music with African, Asian, and Indian influences, and a few chorus vocals singing in a different language which I don't understand, but it's that good kind where it sounds amazing :ryan: This particular song has an awesome minor chord phrase in between the verses that keeps me wanting to listen to it over and over. 10/mofo 10 :jess:

EDIT: Someone has actually just been kind enough to bring a Youtube link of it to my attention, so here it is:

The Protomen - Breaking Out

Unfortunately, songs by The Protomen don't stand alone. They're part of the story, and need to be listened to in order. If you're intrigued, make sure that you read the lyrics while you listen along. It's not that they're difficult to understand, but that there's more text to each song than just what's being sung, and it's vital to the story.

Within Temptation - All I Need

This is such a pretty song. First heard it from The Vampire Diaries during the Damon/Elena dance scene and wanted to hear the full version. I absolutely love it and don't know why I didn't get into them sooner. They're like a softer version of Evanescence. The lead singer's voice is quite unique and it's chilling when she hits those high notes in the chorus. An absolutely outstanding song in my eyes.

Lady Gaga - Just Dance

Dunno why this is stuck in my head but it is. XD

I never was a real fan of this song when it first came out. It didn't really interest me that much. I remember everyone around me had it as their ringtones though. XD

It's growing on me after all this time. >.<

Megurine Luka - Color Scheme
yea, lately, I've been hearing to these :ryan: I love vocaloids since someone told me to try listen to them :awesome:

A Day to Remember- What seperates me from you CD :P

MOD EDIT: Please edit your post to make it not so spammy. You should know the rules by now. Next time, a post like this will be deleted.

Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day.
I'm addicted to this song! It's just to extremely catchy. The lyrics kinda make you wonder if he is enjoying his "lonely road". Why does such an upbeat song have such depressing lyrics?

Either way, 9000/10

[My Body is a Cage] by Arcade Fire

'My body is a cage that keeps me dancing from the one I love ...]

Very indie, very much breathing out its own note, its own slow pulsing beat. The drumming reminds me of uneven heart palpitations, if you listen to the track long enough it grows on you. It's slow and somber just like how the singing drags on in a seemingly beautiful drunken slur. 1:15 is when the intensity rises and swells up, the organ, drums, vocals, and the backdrop of a haunting choir marries together in a wonderfully coordinated arrangement of sound.

2:13 is all instrumental power, beating drums, loud organ playing, and the strike of cymbals. It's a powerful, eerie, and uncomfortable melody and it works. It just works.

I always did have an odd thing for thematic songs, and one about King Arthur isn't an exception. It's one of Blind Guardian's better ones off Imaginations From the Other s-

Crap..track changed.

God I love their cover work...

The best thing (I think I've had this song here before...) about this is how he sings it normally for the first minute and then everyone in the band looks at one another and says "Usual style then? Yup, usual style" and the whole thing goes into headbangingtown.

Plain White T's - Rhythm Of Love

I love love love the Plain White T's. Especially 'Hey There Delilah' just such an amazing song. I think that this song is one of the one's I really enjoy by them as well as Hey there Delilah. Not the lead singer singing the song but, I quite like his voice its very hmm, uhh gentle and, its suits him and, the song. :hmmm: The music sets very well with his vocals.

Very cutesy song. :)

This song has been actually stuck in my head for a couple days. It's a great song though. Em actually wrote this during a small break while on the 8 Mile set and he ended up recording it at some smaller studio. Lose Yourself became quite successful in it's release in 2002 and ended up becoming an quite an iconic song. Great as always though.
