Take Care - by marsh Ambrosius

I've been literally listening to this song nonstop for like three days. I think I need to get this woman's CD when it's released. There's something highly addictive about this old 90's throwback sound the instrumentation's got goin' on. Plus Marsha's voice is just unique, she's got this slight vibrato when she hits these higher notes and it sends shivers through me. Plus I heart the chorus.

Smile in Your Sleep - Silverstein

One of my favorite songs by the band. The song itself is pretty clear in meaning. It's about the guy killing his gf/wife/life partner for lying to him, and as the title suggest she smiles from lying to him, and it is in her sleep. But with that aside, the way everything was put together is great - simply great.

Birds of Tokyo - In the Veins of Death Valley

A really mellow Australian band with the lead singer being Ian Kenny (from Karnivool.) Birds of Tokyo is his side project and they have released 3 albums to date. His voice is definitely unique, soothing as well. Only reason I listen to this band was because his voice but then the more I listened the more I enjoyed the band.

Pendulum- The Island pt. 1 Dawn

This is an awesome song. When I hear this on the radio I always turn it waaaay up and I can feel the bass through my floormats :awesome: Anyways, besides the awesome bass...the guys voice that sings this is very nice and the beat is also pretty bumpin'. Love Pendulum.

Taio Cruz Feat. Kylie Minogue - Higher

Wow, this is a brilliant song. I didn't expect the hook up between these two, but it works well and their voices blend well together. Kylie, in particular, is fantastic on this song. Her vocals are strong and she can really show them off. I have to say the same for Taio as well. The production of the song is so upbeat and it's going to be a definite hit in the near future.

dreaming of you - the coral
either this or in the morning for my favourite by them. dreaming of you has such a brilliant bass line, and the vocals work really well with it.

Jessie J - Do it like a Dude

This song is quite catchy at the moment, didn't like it at first but now it's grown on me for some reason :ryan:

Enrique Iglesias- Tonight I'm F**kin' You

Looooove this song, I heard it on the radio last night on my long drive out to my car's dealership after work. Enrique has a sexy voice, the lyrics are obviously beyond sexy...and the original music video is well...sexy. A very erotic song from the hotness that is Enrique! :awesome:

Double Violin in Concerto, SEcond Movement Largo - Bach

There are not enough words to explain how beautiful this is. I just love it without a doubt in my mind. I can't really explain it, you know. Put simply, its like sex to my ears :kinky:

Megadeth - Duke Nukem Theme

I actually used to listen to a bit of Megadeth a while back but I don't know why I stopped. :hmmm: This song is just so badass and the riffs can make mundane activities seem so epic. Try drinking some water while listening to this song and you'll feel the adrenaline rush. :gasp::gasp:

Star One

Victims of the Modern Age.

MOD EDIT: Can you please put a little more effort into your post? This is a spam post in a post count section. Just tell us why you are listening to this song or what you like or dislike about it. Thank you.

I am listening to it because it rocks, the songwriting is amazing with superb singing.

P.S.Postcount- means nothing to me, and it is not like anyone is saying anything with gravitas about what they are listening too (just like my sentence) its pretty much meaningless.

The Cure- Close to Me

I'm on another 80's kick....and when I get on my kicks I usually listen to The Cure. I like Just like Heaven and etc... but my favorite is Close To Me. I don't know why, it just is. The lyrics are really sweet and I like the beat and the cute "dun dun dun" they always play in the background.

Katy Perry - Firework

Even though it's been out for ages, it's still one of my favourite current songs. I could care less if people slate it just because it's Katy Perry. The lyrics are inspirational, the production is so natural and the video's very colourful. Her voice is at her strongest here and she shows off those extended vocals. I love it and will continue to do so for a very long time.

Enigma has been playing in my house for 18-20 years now, and I never get bored to hear Enigma's awesome music. A recent friend of mine reminded me of this song when I had no idea what it was called.

Its really cool, and it did incredibly when it was released. It uses the Latin language too, which is awesome. Or that's what Michael told me when I asked :P

Enigma - Sadness (Part 1)

Here are some lyrics :>

Sade dit moi
Sade donne moi

Sade dit moi...
qu'est ce que tu vas chercher?
le bien par le mal, la vertu par le vice?
Sade dit moi...
pourquoi l' 'evangile du mal?
quelle est ta religion ou` sont tes fide`les?
Si tu es contre Dieu, tu es contre l'homme.
[Sade dit moi pourquoi le sang pour le plaisir?
Le plaisir sans l'amour.
N'y a t'il plus de sentiment dans le culte de l'homme?]
Sade es-tu diabolique ou divin?

I rate it a 10/10!

Sörskogen - Mordet i Grottan

Absolutely love this piece of progressive rock, it hasn't worn off since I first heard it 4 or 5 years ago. Fantastic synths, brilliant guitar (especially the solo), and Mike's (Mikael Akerfeldt of Opeth) vocals ain't too shabby either. Great, great song. Just a shame they didn't write anything else as Sörskogen.

Isis - Yeah Yeah Yeahs

It's such an atmospheric song. The guitar running throughout the song makes it moody and mysterious, it adds such a vibe to the song. Karen O's vocal delivery is epic, going from soft, to hysterical to almost chanting the lyrics. It's brilliant, I was really surprised when I first heard it, and then instantly hooked.

Sacred Spirits -- Ly-o-lay ale loya (Circle dance)

I really love Native American music...its very peaceful and when I feel bad or angry, I just listen to one and I become come and happy. I just love it. I did have three playlists full of songs and a few albums, but I lost them and I had to recreate another playlist.

There lyrics are:

Ly-O-Lay Ale Loya

It literally means "Counterclockwise Circle Dance" in Navajo. :)

10/10

Sacred Spirits is love for me. :)

"Apart of me wants to leave, but the other half still believes . . .
And it kills me to know how much I really love you
So much I wanna whoo-hoo-hoo to you-hoo-hoo . . ."

[It Kills Me - Melanie Fiona]

This girl's got an old soul, she's got a little influence of Mary J. Blige with some Keyshia Cole mixed in, her sound is very R'n'B soul. I'm loving the instrumentation, it lends a mature and sophisticated sound to her rich vocals, yeeeah. I love this song. It's good for when I'm having an "eh" kind of day. Yay.
