Masterpiece Theatre Part. I - Marianas Trench

Absolutely gorgeous song. I love how they combined all the songs and turned it in to one friggin' terrific song. It's absolutely amazing, and it makes me so happy listening to it. All the songs that are sung are my favourites as well. It's awesome. :ohshit:

100/10

Christina Aguilera - Prima Donna

I really do wish that she released this as a single. It's such a belting song alone and the lyrics are so brilliant, talking of female rise to power. I've always adored Christina's vocal range and she most certainly shows it off here. It's classy, sexy and so in your face from her voice to the overall production. Definitely my new favourite song.

10/10

VIDOLL - Blue Star

Vidoll one of my fav JRock bands.
Jui the vocalist has such an Smexy voice xD
the instumental is also awesome (im learning to play this song on my Elektric Guitar)

VIDOLL 4 EVAH

Perfect Nightmare- Shontelle

Gah, i'm so obsessed with this song atvm :fan: <3 I think Shontelle has a very powerful voice and, with that she makes a fantastic song. Least in my opinion anyways.

I really love this chorus of it tbh :hmmm: it's very catchy.

Even though there's a few songs I know by her, I think im going to explore more of her songs because I like her singing style.

10/10

Michael Crawford - Put On Your Sunday Clothes [click to listen]

Well just now I finally find the full version of this song. I hear it whenever I watch the movie Wall-E , and I think it's too catchy to ignore. It's one of those don't-worry-be-happy songs that you could hear in classic radio music. That and this is also the inspiration of how I figured out my email address. Long, but very unique and sweet. But it also makes me want to see the movie Hello Dolly, since that's where it originated and I haven't. I will soon, but above all, this is a great song.

Alicia Keys- Un-thinkable (I'm Ready)

Ohhh my what an amazing song this is. Alicia has such an amazing voice and she can really make your heart melt with this song, theres so much emotion in it. :gasp: 10/10...its beautiful.

We're Not Gonna Take It - Twisted Sister

So after listening to the tune-spoof of this song that is their cover of "Oh Come All Ye Faithful", I had to go back and listen to the original. The match isn't exact, but it's damn close.

Also, I love the video. The dad's such an over-the-top asshole that perhaps only Shatner could have overacted more.

Tori Amos- "Almost Rosey"

A great song off one of her newer albums, American Doll Posse, and it always makes me feel better. I'm starting to get over something that was bothering me, and so am feeling "almost rosey" :D One of the better songs off this album, though they're all good. It's hard to find her tracks on Youtube, but here are the lyrics:

Just a minute of your time
Yes I've been known to delude myself
so let me put those rose
colored glasses to the test
Now is this real enough for you
'cause blondes here don't jump out of cakes
If that never impressed you much
come board this lunatic express

Just why do they say
Have a nice day anyway
We both know they wouldn't mind
if I just curled up and died
Let's not give that one a try

Chin up put on a pair of these roseys
Raise those blinds
Chin up a happy mask was never
your best disguise
Chin up put on a pair of these roseys
in no time you will feel almost fine
almost rosey

Now some girls here will huddle with
No not footballers that are rich
but will confide in small white sticks
He bats as The Virginian Slim
Then I tried once to comply
with an authority that would
Subsidize my wild side
But at this altar was sacrificed
Yes you can laugh a femme fatale
in a bride's dress now married to
The effortlessness of the cracks
that lie now in between the facts

Just why do they say
Have a nice day anyway
We both know they wouldn't mind
if I just curled up and died
Let's not give that one a try

Chin up put on a pair of these roseys
Raise those blinds
Chin up a happy mask was never
your best disguise
Chin up put on a pair of these roseys
in no time you will feel almost fine
almost rosey

Now about when Violet died
The cause still unidentified
She thought her love would be enough
But you can't seduce seduction
Her tentacles of endless want
Reached through my corridors
and tempt me to taste of her power
I sober with the witching hour
And when I hear of one more bomb
Yes we have all been robbed of song
and nightingales who throw their arms up
When is enough enough?

Just why do they say
Have a nice day anyway
We both know they wouldn't mind
if I just curled up and died
Let's not give that one a try

Chin up put on a pair of these roseys
Raise those blinds
Chin up a happy mask was never
your best disguise
Chin up put on a pair of these roseys
in no time you will feel almost fine
almost rosey
feeling almost rosey
feeling almost rosey

ABBA - Lay All Your Love On Me

Been in an ABBA mood now for the past few days and I really love them again since seeing a programme about the top 25 songs the other night. The lyrics in this song aren't really cheesy at all and the production of it is really simple. It's a nice song to relax to.

10/10

When Eminem raps for serious bid-ness, he really does it well!

I heard this the other day, its a great song! Window pane :p
I really enjoy Eninem's serious rapes, they have always been good xD

Eminem - Love the Way You Lie ft. Rihanna

I have to say though, Rihanna's part might be my favorite part. Hmm...I don't know, I'll have to listen to it 8.7 million more times. :nuts

10/10!

Really good. :x3:

Tonic- "Casual Affair" :8F:

Love this one, it's actually my favorite song by one of my favorite bands <333 The way they play it live is awesome, they add a whole nice rhythm section in the middle, but the original is just as good. Love the lyrics and the riffs, it's awesome :x3: infinity/10

So you give it all in the world today
You say it's all about the passion, and the wars you wage
I'm not saying I'm one for violence, but it keeps me hanging on

It's a casual affair when everybody loves you
Oh, they'll pay top dollar
Make you wear the dog collar
When everybody loves you

I said I'm not afraid of change, I'm not afraid to lose
They say it's all about the sacrifice, and the weapons you choose
Like I said, I'm not one for violence, but it keeps me hanging on

It's a casual affair when everybody loves you
Oh, they'll pay top dollar
Make you wear the dog collar, baby
When everybody loves you

D City Rock (Anarchy) - PSG

This is what happens when Japan makes fun of western music apparently. Autotune, insanely catchy beat, and utterly inane lyrics. They're onto us.

Hell, they even ripped off the MTV logo.

Internets if you can identify every band spoof/reference they spring without reading the comments or using google.

Maroon 5- Misery

I give a 10/10. I started really disliking some of their stuff after their original album, but I loooooooove this song. I think I could hear this about 100+ times on the radio and not get sick of it (which is good because I probably will anyways). I was kinda jammin' to this on my way home from work at a stoplight and got that feeling I was being watched...and I look to my right...and this guy in the car next to me was cracking upppp! lol! Wouldn't be the first time I looked like an idiot while I'm out driving :gasp:

Hearts burst into fire - Bullet For My Valentine

My favourite song by them, plus I'm pretty gutted I missed out on tickets to see them at Wembley Arena. I love Bullet, and this song has such a good lyrics aswell.

Robyn-Indestructible

Looooove this song, I heard it on BPM yesterday after I ran my mass of errands. Its a typical girlie power song that you can dance to. She's been hurt before, but she's gonna give out all her love and put out a facade to prove she's strong. :awesome: Her lyrics are usually pretty simple and to-the-point...but I think the lyrics in this song are a little more thought-out than her others.

James Taylor- "Fire and Rain"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvMcVZf7fyE

A classic. This is one of those occasions where an acoustic song can be a million times more epic than any dramatic orchestra piece or hardcore rock song with loud, flashy solos. His voice is so relaxing, and the lyrics are very thought-provoking, despite their simplicity in places. Very, very nice song, 10/10. This is a live version, but you'd never know if there weren't people clapping, the recording quality is so good.

Plumb - Cut

I still can't get over how so sad and romantic this song is. The singer is fantastic and she has one of those natural voices that invokes true emotion into a song. I like how soft the music is in the background and the piano is very soothing. The song's not really overhyped and it flows naturally, which draws me to any sort of music. But the lyrics captivate me the most and it's rare for me to like a song because of that. This is going to be quite a favourite of mine for a long time to come.

10/10

Wherever You will Go- The Calling

When I first heard this song, I thought it was Creed :hmmm: They sound somewhat similar. Least, I think so. Nonetheles, it's an amazing song. The leader singer has a very deep yet, very outstanding voice. I think this band is pretty good :-) Even though the song itself is a bit older, it's still really great.

10/10

Amazing remix of Nine Inch Nails - The warning.

Rating 12/10

The percussion and the ambient music is totally awesome.

"You will change your ways and you will make amends, or we will wipe this place clean. Your time is tick tick ticking away.."
