[V5] What are you currently listening to?

King Park - La Dispute

I just recently got into this band via recommendation from a few friends, and they just have such a raw sound to them. Sort of a mix of punk and elements of Post-Hardcore, but the lighter side. Still, this song is my current fav. ^_^

Pussycat Dolls - Hush

This song has been stuck in my head for the past 2 days. :ohshit:

Its always the cheesy, over the top, love songs... :argor:

Orange Goblin - Time Travelling Blues

Man, this song (and band in general, actually) makes me want to get highly baked and make schweet n'dirty love whilst floating through the cosmos. Seeing them in April with Japanese band 'Church of Misery' supporting. Can't wait. :)

Marina and the Diamonds - Are you Satisfied?

One of her songs was on the radio the other night on a show described as 'the indie hour', so my ears were already sneering with contempt when it started. It was a very good song, not amazing but it made me decide to listen to more of her. Then I downloaded her first album which is so great. This is one of the best, the way she sings "It's my problem if I have no friends/And feel I want to die" is tingly. It also helps that I would smash the granny out of her

Juggernauts by Enter Shikari. From the second album; although I do prefer their even older stuff. Still, have a soft spot for this song.

Breaking Point - Falling Down

It's been more than 10 years since Cooler's Revenge came out, and I still love every song on the soundtrack. I'm almost thinking of dl'ing the movie and watching it again for the first time since I was like 13 :wacky:

Her Eyes Say Yes - Hit the Lights

A song full of metaphors that hint rape. Of course no band records a song about such a thing. In actuality, the song itself is about the guy addressing his ex pretty much saying "If I can't have you, no one can". Which essentially is a line from the song. But aside that, I love this song. It's so sadistic, fucking creepy, but shit I love it. :x3:

Just came across this on youtube, and even though it's kinda making me depressed, I love it, it's kind of pretty, in a tragic way.

The Lonely Island - Boombox (ft. Julian Casablancas)

I adore this song!

It is so well done. XD

Julian Casablancas sounds awesome in this song! I've listened to some of his other stuff and wasn't a fan but he sounds great in this!

Fantastic song. Funny and the lyrics are well done. XD

Particle Man - They Might Be Giants

I don't really need to describe how fantastic this song is, or why I like it so much. There are no words to describe it. I'd still like to know who came up with Person Man, though...

Arthur & Gwen

From the british BBC incarnation of Merlin. The storytelling quality of the series appears to be headed downhill in season 4, but at least the music remains kinda cool in a cheesy, romancy, way. :ohshit: Only needs story! :argor:

Argh, I can't get this to work with the youtube tags. :(

^ That goes between youtube tags. It doesn't work though, embedding -> disabled. :argor:

Dave Matthews - Dancing Nancies

Twenty three and so tired of life
Such a shame to throw it all away
The images grow darker still
Could I have been anyone other than me?

Winter is back, and sometimes the bluesy music hits the soul. Right now, had a tad hiccup over the Thanksgiving with the wife's family. So now I'm a bit down on ze charm, but it's alright.. because sometimes music hits my soul the right way.

This is one of my favorite songs, by my favorite Vocaloid (Megurine Luka), I really love the voice used and this is one of her best songs.

The Offspring - Hit That

Up until a few days ago I forgot that The Offspring existed. :gonk:

I love The Offspring!

The last time I would have listened to them would have been in year 12 I reckon.

This is such an awesome video clip and song!

I really wish there was a video for Spare me the Details!

10/10

Sacrifice - Silverstein

I've really started to enjoy their new album after I listened to the whole thing a couple of times, and I must say now I understand what they were trying to achieve with this record. Morso, this song really shows how far they have came. They're bring life - and glory - back into a dying genre. Originality at its best. :ryan:

Right now?
-cough- "Jungle Cruise" -The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask OST.

I actually love to listen to video game soundtracks a lot. Specially from this particular game. The music theme of this game is very dark and though you hear happiness, you can tell there's a distorted smile right behind it. I live this game and I fucking love the soundtrack.
