I haven't beaten Bahamut yet. I stopped right before him to finish up everything else because every other FF game I've played has ended immediately after beating the last boss. It stands to reason that this one would as well.
flee from the never-ending chains of guards coming out of the elevator. unless you're significantly higher than the zone, they'll come faster than you can drop them. if you get overwhelmed even fleeing, enter any of the rooms to get away from them. but be careful, they're usually still there...
the jellies that multiply when you kill them. they're in some mine, can't remember which. at the level i was in there, the ONLY way to kill them was to drop them with a massive quickening, and even then i had to be lucky to get them dead before they spawned more.

I'm curious to know why they stuck a level 15 mark in the middle of a 35+ mob area. It's virtually impossible to get to him and actually be able to fight him until you're high enough level to kill your way to him.
