Actually... not quite. Try using it on the Spider thing during the Dollet Mission. Because of the way the battle works, 'The End' doesnt actually kill it lol.
I cant remember exact bits or quotes, but during the course of the game it does confirm that they arent actually brother or sister, or even half bro/sis. It does let onto the fact they could've been related though, which is where this thread comes in. It is kinda weird, but hey, thats FF for you!
That guy bein Zack certainly is an interesting theory, and possibly its just another thing left in the game from earlier plans.
The 12 mini Soldiers you can collect, the open, empty chest in the Prison, all originally had a purpose, or rumored purpose atleast. Maybe this guy is just another...
Ultemecia's Level cap is 62 iirc, or possibly 64, but its somewhere around there, so even if you are at level 100, she will be maxed with Lv 62 stats.
Some other bosses also have caps, though i cant remember off the top of my head which.
I think that bay be it. Cant remember exactly, but past a certain point there is no going back.
As for killing Ridy without KotR, get vincents final weapon and kill 65550 ish enemies with him. The he will 1-shot (literally!) any enemy in the game. Basicaly the damage count is so big it puts...
Just checking, you do know where to go to get KotR once you have a Gold Chocobo yea?
Also, you dont have to breed one to get one. If you give some guy some item (i cant remember who or where exactly, ill look into it for you) the he gives you a Gold Chocobo for free. It doesnt have very good...
Me and a friend replayed the fire caven many times last year due to different reasons, and each time there seemed to be 3 preset fights leading up to the big guy. They were always the same enemies encountered in the same places, except the 3rd which pften varied a little iirc. Maybe it s just me...
Fastest time ive seen on record is about 7.5 hours. There are downloadable videos too if anyone wants evidence, though i havent watched them myself, but as its an officia game challenge website i trust the times.
Anyway, im going to try and beat that... At the mo ive done up to leaving 7th...
There are no 'random encounters' on the way through the cave, not before you get Ifrit atleast. There are 3 battles leading up to the main guy, the final one has a choice of enemies, or occasionally doesnt happen.
To start with, do the Kupo game. Feed nuts till he squeks, both times. Once its over talk to the guy behind you.
Bike game, if you can get 10K+ thats 10GP, can get dull and tedious though.
Arm wrestling for quick small amounts (for saving)
Right now ive just been working on getting GP from...
Enjoy! (hint, get Vincents final weapon, then kill 65500ish enemies with Vincent, he will one shot any enemy in the game :Pincluding the weapons!
Ofcourse thatll probably take longer than actually beating them normally, but hey.
Definitely agree with the above. Keep low level, and play Cid at cards asap (i,e right after you get Diablos, up in his office i think) Use card mod and get all the final weapons on Disc 1. Other items are required too, but youll have to check online for these sorry.
In the game, level 30+ is...
Ive always wondered this, basically no matter what game the topic is about, some people always refer to summons as Summons (7) others always call them GF's (8), and some Aeons (10).
The same thing goes for Limit breaks, Overdrives, Quickenings etc.
Basically which do you use, and what does it...
FF8 definitely had the nastiest incarnation of these guys. However in a recent playthrough, i found an easy way to beat them. I cant remember the exact details, but basically it involved game breaking and Zell being uber fast and strong. Ill ask my mate and if he can remember ill let you know...
Im about to go to Gogonada (sp?, sorry cant remember), anyway, just after you escape the prison.
Cloud is Lv45, and ive just sold my 1st materia... a Mastered ALL, naturally :)
Thanks, though I didnt make the Sig pic myself, it was designed for me by a friend.
game update, ive just hit Junon and everyone has all Limits available so far :) though ive been quite busy with work too, not really much progress made. That should change tonight though.
True, and to be honest, your SeeD rank doesnt really count for much in game. All it does is determine how much money you get every so often, and unlike in other FF's, moey is hardly important at all. 3K for the Train to timber is all you really need. If you are ever desperate for money, just run...
