Best Final Fantasy Game

This is impossible for me to decide. I love the plot of VII, but I prefer the battle system of XII, and I have a soft spot for X's summons, abilities, and recently remembered how much I liked the Sphere Grid, but IX makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, even though I thought it was kind of dull at some parts and the only good minigame was Chocobo Hot&Cold. So... yeah.
 
FF IV

I would have to say a big reason is that this was the first FF game I ever played, so it was the game I compared the rest to afterward. I loved the story line and also the fact that each character was limited in their abilities or jobs. I also liked the fictional time frame it was set in, more medieval rather than the push for futuristic themes. X was great to, it brought me back in after a several year hiatus from FF.
 
I don't wanna say which game I like most but i choose XII. Even if it wasn't like the others it had it's own charm and I liked it ^^
 
I voted for FFX- I loove the gameplay and the designs of the characters. FFVIII comes a close second, it was the first one I played and will always have a special place in my heart

I love everything about it^^

Characters and Storyline are great.

I like how characters leave and return to the party, that makes the story more interesting^^
 
i think that the VII and the XII are the two bests

maybe all the ff games are awersome in all

well... i never really played any other ff game besides ff7 so i'd have to say ff7 cause of the story and awesome characters! it's the only game i've played other games related to. Like i played Dirge of Cerberus and i played Crisis Core.
 
i think the best final fantasy is ffviii and its the firts final fantasy that i played on my life xD

then i bougth ffvii ffix and the others xD

best of all is that is the first one i have ever played and is top of my list ^.^
 
I'd have to say FFVII, I'm really into the characters in the game and prequels/sequels and the storylines really gets me attached to it.

anyway V is my all time favourite because the story was good and the characters had interesting back stories!
plus Gilgamesh and Boko c'mon!
 
VIII has to be it for me. I loved the set up, how you started at a military academy, and then you went out into the world to try and complete your mission... which just happened to put you on track to have to save the world from the ultimate evilness!! In all seriousness though, i loved the Junction system, i loved the magic system, i love the draw system, and i loved the summons. It just appealed to me so much more than the rest of them.

Hey I have a question on some of your guys opinions. I've been looking for a new Final Fantasy game thats kick ass and is something really fun. I've got Dirge Of Cherbios or however you spell it and it was amazing. But then i got number 11 and 12 and they were not my favorites. I don't own a psp and it really sucks but i do own a playstation 3. I especially like the characters of Vincent, Sethiroth, Cloud, any of those people would work too. Any ideas that would be good?

I recommend playing FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX, FFX and FF Tactics.
In my opinion those are the best titles, if you pick those you will spend some great worth hours. Especially on Blitzball (FFX) and Card mini-game FFVIII.
