Final Fantasy X HD Discussion

i'll explain the different between remake and remaster :grin:

remake, they make the full game again from scrath... for example new cutscenes possibally new dialog new gameplay syatem.. MAJOR Graphic improvement

Remaster, gameplay going to be same, storyline going to be the same, all that being down is a upgrade to the graphics and maybe a few extra features will be added

I would love a new game + and maybe a leader board for time taken to finish the game :grin: co-op might be kool if they could XD
 
They have marked it as 10th anniversary edition according to some sources I ave read on the internet, so I am assuming it will be a released around December (when the PS2 original was released) but can't say for sure. I am very excited about this, I am always checking google and google news for HD remakes of the games, it would be good if they remastered all 3 games, X X-2 and XII for PS3 and also made XI available for PS3 users but we can wait and see.
 
Yeah the only change I'd consent to would be a new game+ that lets you keep your equipment, abilities and Al Bhed primers. But if they change anything relating to the story or gameplay...:mad:
 
They won't. Jeeze.

No big change is going to happen to the game itself. Which actually kind of bothers me, because the cutscenes are going to look TERRIBLE compared to the in-game graphics, which will have been bumped up to subpar HD.

they may redo the CGI... i think god of war did :D
 
I'm not really a massive fan of FFX, but I do hope that they fix the character voices, espically Tidus and Wakka.

I hope that they leave the laughing scene alone. That was the best part about FFX.:britt:

I didn't really like his ''Ya's'' and ending almost every sentence in a '' Ya ". -__- Oh that's amazing, because Futurama's Fry really reminds me of Tidus ! :yay:

Though I'll stay happy with the original FF X, the original is always the best version. ☆☆

you and me are on the same sexy boat, my brother. I don't expect them to add that little feature and just not change everything else though. that sounds too perfect to be true.
 
If it turns out to be awesome and nothing different, then I will grab the disc and fuck it something awful. I will stick my pipi in its hole and giver because I'm a loyal fan
 
I've never played X but I played X-2. I liked X-2 even though it took me a while to pick up on the story. To me it doesn't matter if they just put it in HD but I'd love some behind the scenes videos too. Not many fans LOVE X-2 so they should have put this as a dual package because not many people would purchase HD X-2 by itself.

that's a good point
except you already stated that pretty much nobody likes x-2, so it would basically be a huge waste of time, money and effort to do the same for x-2.

The cgi and cutscenes will probably be the same only sharper like in Splinter Cell. Ingame is what I look forward too..Besaid Island etc...

Upscaling is not real HD unfortunately :(
Shit it could be upscaled to 720p.... ya never know. Im just happy I'll be able to play this baby on me ps3... :grin:

yeah, this is what I like too
I don't have many games for my ps3 to begin with, so adding X into my small collection is sexy

Don't give SE any bad ideas that might cause me to hate them more :|

They only just gained my respect points by announcing this, they'll get more when they:
  • Reveal the Trophy list
  • Reveal the release date
  • Upgrade the graphics to that of FFXIII or higher (unlikely, but one can hope)
They will lose the remainder of my respect for them if they listen to 360 fans by breaking FFX's knees so that the 360 console can comprehend the fact that there is a disc in it's drive.
